I do have an OC, but haven't played as him yet (don't really play the game at this time. Too busy modding it to my liking.). He's mostly used as a half-joking self-insert at this time and most likely will always have an element of that. Still, I know some details about him. I'll probably do a playthrough with him once I'm done with my modding binge and when I have time. Then he can be more fleshed out.

Who are they?

For now, you can call him by my normal online name, King Feraligatr (or KF) (he has no proper name). He's not much of anyone, but I do know that he's a commoner with Imperial citizenship. I also know that he's anti-slavery. His current tags are Scholar and Jester (but that could change).

What is their damage?

Is this meant to be mental or literal damage type? Or both? Anyways, since he lacks fleshing out, he has no real mental quirks. His main damage types would probably be melee mixed with hydro. :)

What do they look like?

He's currently just a standard lizard who's blue. Mostly because I like the lizards in this game and blue is my favorite color. :) He does use use some assets from Majora's Character Creation Plus , so recreating him using base game assets isn't completely possible.

Are there any differences between their in-game model and how you imagine them?

Not currently, but those aforementioned assets make it hard to recreate him in the modding editor if I ever want to do shots of him in it.

What is their fighting style?

Currently melee mixed with Hydrosophy. Modded to make that combat style more viable. :) He also likes to heal people and such.

Who do they love and why?

If the name of my blog didn't make it obvious, it's Red Princess Sadha. Specifically my edited and expanded version of her (now ingame due to a mod. :D). Sadha is my primary fictional "crush", so you'd better bet I'd find a way to get her and my OC together. Though it happens sometime after the game. The way I see it playing out is that TRP, being his usual sleeping around self, cheats on her. However, in this continuity, he doesn't prioritize her or really even seek her out (specifics are TBD). So, ignoring her on the Reaper's Coast (RC) (though maybe the OC passes by and says "hi" or something) and meeting her in Arx and with Sadha knowing about TRP's unfaithfulness, she breaks up with him. My version of Sadha may prefer monogamy, but she'd be willing to working out polyamory if TRP followed some simple conditions and treated her right. Not in this case. Anyways, this obviously makes Sadha upset and she's not in much of a talking mood in Horrorsleep. Still, "KF" still feels bad and gives her a Swornbreaker, for which she is grateful for. They may not be able to talk much now, but they know each other and are acquainted. After the events of the game, "KF", having little better to do (and maybe taking some slight interest into the Red Princess), looks Sadha up and chooses to work for her and the royal family of the House of Law. Sadha and "KF" befriend each other pretty fast. And eventually, over time, they develop feelings for each other. They start dating and eventually get married (especially important to make their relationship more "official" in the eyes of the public since Sadha's royalty and all). Like myself, my OC is asexual and I have that play into his and Sadha's relationship. They have no kids (like I would want) and while they still have to deal with Sadha dreaming of TRP at times (I don't think that would go away even if they broke up. (: .), they work through it. The two work together to try and bring about changes they think would benefit the Empire, like abolitionism (to things simple, Sadha is also anti-slavery.) and being more peaceful. Sadha has repaired her professional relationship with TRP (now probably Emperor) as well. So from helper, to acquaintance, to protector, to friend, to partner, to spouse, to partners (could make a pun on this... :)) in politics and other areas, I'd say "KF" and Sadha have a good relationship. :)

Anything else you'd like to share about them?

Uh, not much. He still needs fleshing out, as I've said. He's not directly possible to recreate in the editor easily, so shots like this:

💀 has your oc ever lost anyone to death? multiple people? people close to them? how does the loss make them feel?

carxes lost his mom when he was a wee babe, he wasn't really close with her on account of. being. a baby. <3. he mostly feels sorry (i thiiink that's the right word for it?) because of the impact it had on his dad

💗 relationships? who are their friends, their family relations, lover(s), foes? what sort of personalities really tick them off and what others do they like? is there anything that’d ruin a friendship for them?

ru'en has a bunch of friends but he's not especially close with them because. the one-sided 5d mind chess. because as everyone knows if someone cares about you they must have some ulterior motive /s. he was never very close with his extended family and his parents. Uh. they're not on speaking terms any more <3 they're not as close to their sisters as they used to be or as much as they want to be but. it's better than nothing <3 any enemies he had he. ended up killing. hate wins <3 romance-wise he's had a bunch of casual flings but their longest and most significant romantic relationship was with the red prince. <3

while i'm at it: the relationship timeline with the red prince is essentially: Hm! That guy's Weird! (merryweather) => that guy's Weird but he's a good fighter and maybe he's not so bad. maybe. on second thoughts maybe not. but then- (fort joy) => not officially together but they keep having gay sex and caring about each other (driftwood) => de facto lovers with neither of them willing to address the elephant in the room (sadha) (nameless isle and arx) => Good Lord We Cannot Keep Doing This You Literally Have A Wife And Children (post-game) => not officially broken up but it's basically Over (a few years post-game)

the kinds of people he dislikes are. Hm. this sounds bad but. they don't really like people they can't control. AKDHJKHFJKHKJ in most social situations he usually has a good idea of what makes that person tick, how to act to give off the impression that will get them what they want, et cetera (this is partly because of their clairvoyance and partly because of the one-sided 5d mind chess. it's mostly the clairvoyance <3), so when someone comes along that blindsides them that's. Not a great experience for them. top ten normal thought processes. <3 similarly they don't like manipulative people. pot and kettle and all that. he likes people that he's familiar with because there's that aspect of predictability. they also like people who are nice to him even if there are ulterior motives to it let a girl dream <3

a big deal breaker in any relationship with them would be any kind of betrayal or deception or manipulation. <3

⚡ what are your oc’s phobias? is there any reasoning behind these? how do they calm themselves down after getting scared? what are they like when they’re afraid? is there any chance of them overcoming their fears?

ummmmmmmm there's the above point about regarding people they can't control. also being restrained because the whole sourcerer persecution thing. also magisters because acab <3

when he's scared he usually tries to put up a front, often his usual brand of cheerful naivete. failing that they'll try to downplay it or hide it with anger <3 they usually try to calm themself down by distracting themself it. don't really think he'll get over these any time soon. Um. sorry :pensive:

eskandar has a fair bit of rumours surrounding them because like. new creepy guy who asks some very specific questions while refusing to answer any and wears a mask all the time. there's bound to be some rumours surrounding them. they're mostly pretty nasty. <3

Party: Red Prince, Ifan, godwoken Siena (human OC) and godwoken Relm (lizard OC).

Relm plopped down on his sleeping bag after taking off armor and weapons. He warmed the palms of his hands and rubbed his eyes gently, hoping to fend off the pain of a starting headache.

Whispering and ruffling of clothes could be heard from the other side of the bushes. Giggling even.

"Ugh..."

"I know I know, I would not choose such a... rustic spot for the games of love, but when the need is great..."

The Red Prince had entered the tent, his beautiful scarlet scales glistening after a refreshing wash. That only made the yearning worse.

Relm sighed again. "If only they weren't so loud..."

The Red Prince sat beside him and clapped his shoulder amicably.

"Very rude of them, true. Outlaws, you know, don't always have the same standards on civility. But I would have thought that a man of the world like yourself wouldn't be so bothered it."

Relm, in all his towering size, felt very small in front of that statement, like he'd just been scolded for being a whiny child. He shot the Red Prince a meaningful look.

"Oh... you wish it were you and, say, Slane, who were making those sounds?"

"Sure... why not." Slane was not exactly the lizard he had in mind but it would do.

"Well, don't loose hope so soon I'-"

"Prince, the truth is, I am lonely. I yearn for the touch of a loved one. I'm happy for our comrades but..."

"It feels like they're rubbing it on your face. Even though you know that is not the case. Even though you know Siena holds you in great regard and so does ben Mezd. I understand. I apologize if I sounded.... um... patronising."

Relm smiled, "There is nothing to forgive, Prince."

"Even so, I know your pain. For I suffered it until... not long ago," Relm could tell he took a moment to reminisce of his last encounter with Princess Sadha,and he felt a pang of jealousy he was quick to silence, "But think about it this way, my friend, those to are the salt of the earth, outlaws, criminals, common as muck and sure as the dawn, so they have found comfort in each other's arms, which is all good and I'm happy for, but that shouldn't discourage you. You and I are meant for higher loves and greater rewards. I am a living legend, and you, Relm, are a remarkable man destined for greatness..."

The blue lizard shook his head, frowning. "That doesn't comfort me. No, there is no need to put down our friends to find hope for ourselves."

The Prince made a face and stayed silent for a little while, like he was re-evaluating his own words and had finally found the flaw in his speech.

He put a claw gently on Relm's arm and he basked in the touch.

"Apologies, friend. That was rather childish of me. I do not enjoy seeing you down..." he held his breath for a moment, "Let me put it this way: I will admit that I have had a farily easy start on life... that it got worse later is another story... but our friends, Siena and Ifan, they have had a rough life, from the day they were born they've had troubles and tribulations, and still, even after all that, life didn't manage to break them, what's more, through adversity and hardship they managed to find each other and fall in love. And I will tell you this, Relm, if those two were able to find love with the cards they were dealt in life, so will I, and so will you."

Relm chuckled, perhaps to mask the fact that he'd been holding his breath in awe. "That did make me feel better, Prince. Thank you."

The Red Prince smiled, ready to accept his thanks when they heard another sharp, short moan.

"Hmmm, I do wish they were more quiet about it. Can we have some peace and quiet here, please?!!"

They heard a giggle, and then silence fell.

"What? You didn't think I would scold them?"

Relms eyes twinkled, "I was sure you would. Thank you... for everything."

The Red Prince waved him away, slightly embarrassed himself, and they settled down for the night, feeling a little less lonely.
