They wish to confess the reason they act silly is because they’re scared. Scared of being intimate, of being hurt again. Of being used for what they have instead of being loved for who they are. They want to confess they acted like a fool. They’re aware they’ve lost an important connection by being cold to you and they regret it deeply. They want to confess they entertained other people while you were away. And that’s the reason why you broke up for some of you. If not, I get the message of a person being sorry for not letting you in and pushing you away. They’re saying they want to take their time getting to know you and building this connection one step at a time. For some I’m getting the message of a person trying to study to be able to make the connection progress. They want to confess they regret hurting you and taking you for granted. Now you’re gone they realize they had something valuable that they failed to see. They’re sorry they didn’t take you seriously. They wish to apologize for their immature behavior. They wish that you would wait for them.

Whether or not I succeeded is up to debate but I had fun making them and I suppose that's what is important. The spellwork is either my own inventions or my sad attempts at translating Claude Lecouteux's Dictionnaire des formules magiques (2015).

When I say I am into cartomancy, I mean I own fifteen decks of various types. My favorite for use is lenormand, but the most beautiful deck I own is the Iris Sacra.

My favorite Major Arcana is the Hanged Man. My favorite card overall however is the Three of Swords. My personal Signifier is the King of Cups.

Enya

Enya è una approssimazione fonetica derivata dalla pronuncia in lingua gaelica del vero nome di Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin, che corrisponde all’inglese Enya Patricia O’ Brennan.

Il gaelico è la prima lingua di questa formidabile compositrice, nata a Gweedore, nella regione del Donegal, nel Nord Ovest dell’Irlanda, il 17 maggio 1961, in una famiglia di musicisti.

Con la sua musica, sospesa tra mitologia celtica e New Age, dalla sonorità eterea, a tratti onirica, scelta come accompagnamento musicale a numerosi film di successo è riuscita a esportare nel mondo la cultura, i misteri, la magia della tradizione popolare fatta di miti arcaici e sacralità.

Nello stesso anno è uscito anche May It Be per la colonna sonora del primo film della saga Il Signore degli Anelli, che le ha portato una nomination all’Oscar.

Alla fine del 2009 la cantante è stata nominata Artista New Age del decennio dalla Billboard.

Nel 2015 è uscito il suo ultimo album Dark Sky Island, che contiene, come di consueto, brani in diverse lingue, tra cui l’inglese, il latino e il loxian, linguaggio fittizio creato da Roma Ryan nel 2005, ispirato dai linguaggi tolkeniani usati da Enya nei brani contenuti nella colonna sonora del film La Compagnia dell’Anello, e utilizzata per la prima volta in due brani del suo album Amarantine.

Enya è un approccio alla musica, alla vocalità, alle tecniche di registrazione. Un’esperienza sensoriale e al contempo “astratta”, che pare scaturire da una dimensione insondabile, fuori dal tempo, dove il fascino ancestrale del folk celtico e la solennità della musica sacra si sposano a un sound elettronico moderno. È un genere musicale a sé, una di quelle geniali invenzioni destinate a rimanere un unicum. Arcana incantatrice, ha impersonato un viaggio onirico e celestiale, eppure sensuale come un rito primitivo, racchiuso in una scintillante scorza hi-tech. This is the Arcana Iris Sacra deck on the Labyrinthos app, for anyone wondering.

I've been reading a lot of spiritual and self-help stuff, to deal with trauma and all that recently. And it's opened my eyes but at the same time, it's tough to put these things into actual practice. Here's a reminder to be like the Queen of Swords (coincidentally also my physical deck's personality card).

Mixing Libra and Virgo traits, use balanced analysis to weed out anything that feels like baggage. I have this tendency to give or take 100% of the blame, but how has that really served me so far? There's no truth, only POVs. So here’s a suggestion to pick what's the most balanced and fair for my growth, even if it deviates from my usual perception. Being judgmental, critical, or even unknowingly malicious are behaviors I should watch out for, and strive for balance to attain harmony.

When I saw some of the artwork and the product samples for this new tarot deck from Labyrinthos I HAD to have it. My preorder arrived yesterday. This is the Arcana Isis Sacra deck, which came out along with a similar styled astrological oracle deck called Claves Astrologicae. I have them both but for this post I'm focusing on the tarot deck.

This isn't my first Labyrinthos deck- when I first started getting interested in tarot I used the Golden Thread tarot app and right away bought the Golden Thread physical deck- I love these cards, and even though I've bought quite a few other decks since then the Golden Thread has been one I use regularly. I have the Seventh Sphere Lenormand deck from Labyrinthos as well. I'm a huge fan of Tina Gong's work and these new decks are not at all a disappointment

The Arcana Isis Sacra deck comes in a box that's designed to look and open like a fancy book. It's beautiful but to be honest I'll probably find a cloth case for these cards- the box it ships in lays slightly agape unless you use the attached ribbon to tie it shut. I was surprised that there was no magnetic closures.

The card themselves are beautiful. They're slightly smaller than the typical tarot card which makes them more comfortable to handle and shuffle in my small hands. The card stock is very sturday and has gilded edges. They feel both antique and very new at the same time.

The card designs use quite a bit of astrological and Kabbalah imagery, and I'm not fully familiar with either, and as I look through the cards these feel a little more sophisticated than a typical Rider-Waite inspired deck, most notibly in the major arcana. I'm really looking forward to learning more about the symbolism in this deck and hoppefully be able to appreciate the added depth.

I don't have a ton of space to spread out right now to do this interview spread- the shape is wrong but the card order is borrowed from this interview spread.

What does your soul crave?

Your soul craves having that balance and stability. It craves to be fair and find that clarity which comes with knowledge. This does not only restrict to the forces which are within you but also the path you choose to take. Your soul yearns to enhance your vision. Learning more about how actions illicit changes in ourselves and the world around us. If those changes are aligned with your purpose, then go along with it. You are guarded and obsessed with working. With the nine of pentacles rx I feel like there is a sense of false stability and security here. You want the finer things in life but its hard for you to keep up with the finances. Please don't depend on material wealth for happiness. Your shadow self/the parts of you buried deep inside your head, they need rejuvenation. Take a few steps back and allow yourself to rest. Now, pairing with this we also have the devil rx, which creates a contrast here. You are independent, at least that is what you'd like to think of yourself. Basically thinking - kn of ch. ive been feeling more internally today deeping emotions and ideas even harder than usual

Feeling - v.hierophant. I've been deeply second guessing/critical cautious of organised religion/the church and how its impact and Gods impact on me have me feeling midst deconversion.

Doing - Q of sw. I've cut myself off a bit from social media of recently and also inadvertently the conversations and friendships i told myself i needed to keep up. They influence my life more than i realise. And in the positive sense, so I've cut off one of my sources of goodness.

Ship + clouds - im going to go on a journey /embark on discovering how to get thru/over this field of uncertainty I've been experiencing of recently w/ my faith, spirituality, wellbeing + life.

Clouds + dog - im questioning my loyalties with my previous religion/deity + also my job role.
