Enjoying some gameplay with a vanilla-ish game setup at the moment. Currently involves a custom hood that focuses on the University expansion where I try and make use of different features or general concepts that were included in the pack but in whatever way I feel like rather than based on how Maxis designed them to work.

As usual with me there are nerdy details... each Sim has an education score where learning skills, receiving high grades (on education-themed residential lots), working on talent badges, life skills and previous career experience are combined to give a score that decides how high a Sim can climb a career. So yeah, there's thresholds that I'm tinkering with for that. I will probably include this in my post-apocalyptic hoods too if it seems manageable with 100+ active playable Sims at a time...
