Various experts from the academics and industries delivered the lecture to the students of the school of civil engineering. On the first day, the first speaker, Dr Santoshkumar G (Assistant Professor, IIT Bhubaneshwar), talked about “Forensic Geotechnics”, where he explained the analysis of a project, site conditions, or construction from a geotechnical standpoint. The next speaker, Dr Jitesh S Chavada (Assistant Professor, SVNIT Surat), explained the “Application of Image Analysis in Geotechnical Engineering”, where he explained the analysis of various geotechnical problems with the help of images. The third speaker of the day, Prof J.T. Shahu (Professor, IIT Delhi), dealt with the “Geotechnical Aspect of Tunnel Construction” where he discussed the various construction aspects as well the methods of tunnelling. The series continued on second day where Mr Shyan Ali (Director, Megadrones Pvt Ltd) discussed the “Drone Ecosystem” and its utilisation in the field of civil engineering.
