would they also arrange appointments for both simon and prince wilhelm to get tested?//
Jan Olof is court marshal (hovmarskalk) and he just asked August about STDs, he didn't arrange for any testing.
I can't imagine the court even asking Simon or Wilhelm to get tested.
It would be hard to justify testing Simon and Wille, and if minors (regardless of age) disagree with their parents about tests or treatments, it's the healthcare professionals who will make the decisions.
Doctor appointments can be booked online on 1177.se (very and only Simon and Wille or their parents can do that.
Teenagers can book an appointment at a youth clinic without the parents being informed of it or of any potential treatments or prescriptions, (unless it's a matter of life and death, and only if sharing the information will not make it worse for the child/teenager. Do no harm etc.)
Children have very strong rights in Sweden.

*+°✨🪷💮~ Remember to get tested, everyone ~ 💮🪷✨°+*
Anyone can catch or carry an STI!
It's always better to know for sure than than to live in the dark, because you can't treat an infection you don't know you have, after all.
Many STIs are asymptomatic when you first catch them, so it's important to check even if you don't have any symptoms.
There are many options available for getting tested, from visiting your local sexual health clinic or your doctor, to ordering (usually free) test kits online which come in discreet packaging. There's no reason not to! :)
Reblog to spread this reminder, because it's vitally important to get tested once a year.

Program led by St. Michael’s Hospital to dispense free HIV self-testing kits, harm reduction, sexual health supplies
“Machines that dispense free self-testing kits for HIV and COVID-19, naloxone kits, new needles, condoms and other essential harm reduction and sexual health supplies will soon appear in communities across Canada.
The ‘smart’ machines, called Our Healthbox, work like a vending machine, and also provide health information and a service directory for people to find much-needed health care and supports in their community. The initiative, led by researchers at St. Michael’s Hospital, a site of Unity Health Toronto, will launch in four communities in New Brunswick on Jan. 23, with plans to launch up to 50 machines across Canada in 2023. The goal is to install 100 machines over the next three years, and to evaluate how well they support people with their health needs...
Providing access to harm reduction and health care supplies for free to people in spaces they frequent is a strategy experts consider as key to reaching people who are underserved and who have barriers to accessing testing, harm reduction materials, treatment, care and prevention due to racism, homophobia, stigma and discrimination.
“Everyone in Canada deserves to have what they need, when they need it, to take care of their health. But we know that this is not the case, and so we are doing everything we can to bridge that gap in ways that work for each person in their community,” said Dr. Sean B. Rourke...
Our Healthbox is the latest phase of work led by Rourke to connect those with complex health and social circumstances to testing, treatment and prevention. In 2019, Rourke spearheaded a cross-Canada clinical trial which evaluated and proved the accuracy of HIV-self tests – Health Canada approved the tests for use in November 2020 based on the results of the trial. In June 2022, Rourke launched the I’m Ready research program, distributing 10,000 free HIV self-testing kits across Canada to reach people who are undiagnosed and get them connected to care, with the goal of identifying the factors that affect access to testing and care.
Rourke and his team will work with local community-based organizations, public health authorities, and health centres to host and maintain the Our Healthbox program.”

Did you know that our new Check Me Out checklist will be represented by a number of amazing community ambassadors?
Our community ambassadors are people doing important work in the 2S/LGBTQIA+ communities who have signed on to help share the word about Check Me Out.
Leading up to our Check Me Out launch we would like to introduce one of our community ambassadors, Robert Wright. We thank Robert for all of their hard work and support of this project.
Robert is a queer, African Nova Scotian Social Worker and Sociologist whose 35 year career has spanned the fields of education, child welfare, forensic mental health, trauma, sexual violence, and cultural competence.  HIs identity and work are grounded in his integrated and activist spirituality.
Robert recently completed terms of service as the founding Executive Director of both the Peoples’ Counselling Clinic and the African Nova Scotian Justice Institute, and currently continues at the Peoples’ Counselling Clinic as Director Emeritus, Consultant and Therapist.

At Hillerska they also have free condoms at the nurse office. I don’t see the issue? Getting condoms are easy?
And also why would anyone else book appointments for them? They know their own histories and know if they should get tested. They can go to school nurse or book an appointment somewhere else? Wilhelm probably also has a specified doctor he can turn to.
Teenagers in Sweden can book appointments without parents knowing. In fact after they have turned 13, parents can no longer see all medical history or prescriptions. The kids have to log in themselves and identify themselves, using their ID identification. I can see and pick up prescriptions that are not risking my kids privacy, but I can’t see medication that are for example birth control or medication that are more private nature.
From 13 yo they have privacy, it’s to protect the kids. And parents can no longer read their kids journals after 13 yo.

I wasn't raped.
Because it's not rape if you don't say no
It wasn't consensual either but he didn't notice or he didn't care. I don't know.
The first experience of intimacy you still think about and blush secretly because you were clueless, shy and caring and you did it with someone you thought you loved...He took that away from me.
Instead he gave me a STD. Thanks
