Saturn in Pisces: Who's Swimming and Who's Sinking?

Note: These are all my personal observations and patterns I've noticed through the years reading charts and calculating transits. Not one placement or the houses Saturn aspects are enough to analyze how it would turn out for you. This is based on Vedic/Sidereal Astrology. For Aries Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 12th house and be aspecting 2H, 6H and 9H. Expect lessons around letting go, foreign lands, expenses, and possibly even your sleep cycle asking for a manager. Stay away from legal troubles and take care of your health as it can bring expenses related to medical bills. Aspecting 2H means budgeting becomes your love language. Aspecting 6H means your work ethic is getting a full audit, no shortcuts and no snooze buttons. Round 56 and more as Saturn watches how you manage stress, debt or deadlines. Aspecting 9H means Saturn is side-eyeing those casual philosophies you picked up on Instagram/Internet. Time to find deeper truths.

For Taurus Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 11th house and aspects 1H,5H and 8H. Social circle is under construction. No more freeloaders, only future collaborators. Delayed but built to last. Might feel lonely during retrogression. Aspecting 1H means reality check and slow glow-up and learning self-worth isn't built overnight with material goods or stubbornness. Aspecting 5H means less fun, more productivity. Dating feels restricted as Saturn wants you to focus on your passions which might actually lead to something. Aspecting 8th house means it's time to face your fears and grow up. It's not fun though but transformational. Also read any NDAs or documents before signing and about investments else you'll regret later.

For Gemini Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 10th house and aspects 12H, 4H and 7H. Saturn is your boss now. He can either fire you and get you unemployed or if you do listen to his advice, he'll make you build your career for real and stable. Aspecting 12H means it's time to clean your emotional junk wardrobe. Weird dreams. Aspecting 4H means finally addressing the family dynamics by either improving it or letting go. May involve moving or renovating. Aspecting 7H means commitment is a theme. If it’s shallow, it’ll crack. If it’s real, it’ll strengthen. If single, could attract a serious, mature partner.

For Cancer Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 9th house and aspects 11H, 3H and 6H. Trust the universe is cool but but Saturn’s asking if you’ve read the fine print. Long-distance travel, legal matters, or education might feel slow but they’re shaping your higher purpose. Aspecting 11H means friendships and aspirations are getting a loyalty check. Saturn doesn’t care if someone’s fun at brunch, do they show up when it counts? You might prune your circle, but what’s left will be solid gold. For Virgo Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 7th house and aspects 9H, 1H and 4H. "Either grow up or get out" energy. Saturn wants long-term commitment. Tests your relationship, either survive this else Saturn will break it. Marriage/LTR is possible with a serious and mature partner. Aspecting 9H means your worldview is being audited. Time to make your daydreams come true in real life. Good time to move far away for career/education. Aspecting 1H means being Responsible with a capital R. Saturn's here to make you emotionally mature with a ''main character'' energy. Establishing boundaries and building serious reputation too. Aspecting 4H means family dynamics may feel heavier or you might even become the bread winner of the family. Might involve home improvement or moving away with family.

For Libra Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 6th house and aspects 8H, 12H and 3H. Saturn is now your personal trainer, life coach, and micromanaging boss rolled into one. Your daily routines, health habits, and work ethic are up for review. It’s less about balance and more about boundaries. Lazy patterns are getting evicted. Aspecting 8H means it's time to get real about your emotional baggage and bank accounts. expect deep healing, financial restructuring, and maybe one or two “shadow work” moments. Aspecting 12H means Saturn's asking you to deal with what you’ve been avoiding. Expect moments of mental breakdowns and get ready for a powerful detox session. Your dreams, thoughts, your screen time are all talking to you now. Aspecting 3H means only serious talks and words that carry weight. For Scorpio Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 5th house and aspects 7H, 11H and 2H. Saturn is your strictest teacher now. No more scribbles, think long-term projects and actual deadlines. This is where love, art, and pleasure go from spontaneous to sustainable. Oh, and parenting is a responsibility. Aspecting 7H means relationships if it’s shallow, it may fade. For Aquarius Rising, Saturn will be transiting your 2nd house and aspects 4H, 8H and 11H. Expect slow but steady income growth if you're playing the long game. Also: if you’ve been outsourcing self-worth to your paycheck, Saturn’s gonna call that bluff. Good time for investments. Aspecting your 4H means emotional security can’t be borrowed and it’s gotta be built. Saturn may bring responsibilities at home or with family, but also the chance to finally feel grounded. Aspecting 8H means Saturn’s putting structure around how you share and what you hide. You may not like being vulnerable, but guess what? That’s the assignment. Aspecting 11H means you might outgrow your circle and the ones left are solid. Saturn’s teaching you that your community should support your growth, not distract from it.

For Pisces Rising, Saturn will be transiting your ascendant and aspects 3H, 7H and 10H. Your glow-up isn't aesthetic, it's existential. Stepping into a whole new version of yourself in the end that's built to last. Boundaries are now your best friends. No more people-pleasing, no more drifting. This is your "main character" arc. Aspecting 3H means every word, post, and thought is getting filtered through Saturn’s ��is this necessary?” test. Expect to daydream less and say more. Sharp mental focus. Energy Update: April 2025

April is a "4" Universal Month [4 (April) + 9 (2025) = 13 = 1+3=4] in a "9" Universal Year. 4 Months are concerned with shoring things up and creating structure, which is very needed after a complicated eclipse season and two personal planet retrogrades in March.

The Set Up

We begin April with the Sun and Neptune in Aries; Retrograde Mercury, Retrograde Venus, and Saturn in Pisces; Mars in Cancer, Jupiter in Gemini, Uranus in Taurus; and Pluto in Capricorn. There will be major planetary movements this month: the Sun enters Taurus (as usual), Mercury stations direct and then enters Aries, Venus stations direct and then enters Aries, and Mars enters Leo.

The Nitty Gritty

We know that everything is changing when every single one of our personal planets switches signs in a single month. We've been in a personal planet retrograde cycle since November when Mars entered his pre-retrograde shadow in late Cancer with only one week without a retrograde since. In April, Mercury and Venus station direct, and Mars finally exits Cancer for the last time in this cycle. This should provide some relief as, overall, the constant interpersonal shitstorm we've been experiencing since the end of last year finally begins to subside.

Neither of our three personal planets is out of their respective post-retrograde shadows yet, though, so we still have some ground to re-trace and re-imagine before we're entirely out of this storm.

Still, progress is being made.

Our Lights: the Sun and the Moon

As we pull away from eclipse season, the general energy will get much lighter and brighter. We may finally feel like we've entered the easy season of spring. Our Sun only makes two significant aspects all month long: a conjunction with Chiron in Aries, a reminder of the past, and a square with Mars that checks in on our future.

We're in the in-between all month long, and it shows.

The Sun in Aries sextiles Jupiter in Gemini on 4/6, which hints to us that good times are to come - Jupiter is in its exile in Gemini, and we've all been pretty down on our luck for a while now. Now, finally, Jupiter is making moves to exit Gemini, which will drastically improve the odds of anything good happening on this earth - stay tuned for this summer for this positive transition. For now, this sextile is a glimmer - a hint that something good is on the horizon.

Then, we get our first lunar event post-eclipse season, a full moon at 23° Libra on 4/12 that is tightly opposed to Chiron in Aries. This is highly significant if you remember a year ago when our total solar eclipse in April included a stellium of the Sun, the Moon, retrograde Mercury, and Chiron in Aries. This full moon will be a call back to that day, but from a different angle (full moon instead of new). What have we learned with a year to reflect on what was coming up in April 2024?

This last set of eclipses included an Aries solar eclipse, the last eclipse on the Aries-Libra axis that we will experience for the next thirteen years. We are rounding things out, and the endings may pour in hard and fast. This could be a triggering day for some - especially those with personal planets in the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), and most specifically those found in the last decan that was affected by the solar eclipse a year ago and now this full moon as well.

With Chiron, our Wounded Healer, in play, this will hurt. This is by design. We live in a society that views pain as anathema, but often (in a body that is functioning properly anyway), pain is a signal that we should be paying attention. What is painful needs addressing during this full moon, and it might hit very hard at the core of your ego and who you think you are. This is also the day Venus stations direct at 24° Pisces in a close stellium with Saturn and the North Node, which will bring back some of the eclipse energy even though it's not actively an eclipsed moon.

Things might feel slightly out of control or fated during this time. It looks like the kind of day where the big flex is to hold onto your butt and try to enjoy the ride.

Our Libra full moon is an 8/3 full moon.

7 (Libra moon) + 1 (Aries Sun) = 8. 8 (Libra Full Moon) + 4 (April 2025) = 12 = 1+2 =3. The number 8 is an ouroboros, or infinity sign turned upwards. It often represents a rollercoaster of energy and emotions—ultimate highs and lowest lows, one right after the other. This energy signature is similar to erratic eclipse energy, which Venus's stellium is bringing into play. 3 is our base manifestation number. If you can ride these waves, great (magical) results await you on the far shore.

The Sun enters Taurus on 4/19, which will cause life to slow down a bit as we enter the season of our fixed earth sign. This is a time to sit back and enjoy what spring offers. We are seeing our first spring harvests of fresh fruits and vegetables, and spring flowers are fully blooming. Taurus season is a time meant for enjoyment as the sign of the bull can be, at times, downright hedonistic. As Mercury and Venus are finally in forward motion again, this is when we can rest a bit more and perhaps try to recuperate and recover.

With the Sun now in fixed Taurus, it begins to interplay with Mars in fixed Leo and Pluto in fixed Aquarius to create a t-square in our skies. This is where the shoring up of our "4" month energy comes into play. Although these three fixed signs are all in stressful positions with one another (the Sun squares both Mars and Pluto, who are in opposition), fixed signs have one thing in common: they all require a heavy dose of security to operate at their best.

If you are feeling out of sorts or shaken up by the aftermath of the eclipses and retrogrades, now is the time to take stock of what happened and figure out how to ground yourself into the now. Because it is Taurus season (fixed earth), dirt will be a significant ally during this time.

The Sun squares Mars in Leo on 4/20, a day to question where we are going and what steps we can take to make our dreams a reality. Think big, but map out tangible, achievable steps. The Sun squares Pluto on 4/23, which has the opposite effect: here is a day to think big and focus on what we can eliminate to lighten the load on our journey forward. (Mars directly opposes Pluto on 4/26, which is yet another day to focus on this t-square)

And finally, on 4/27, we have our first new moon after the eclipse season. This is, arguably, the best day of the month as the retrogrades have ended, eclipse season is complete, and we are finally at a new beginning in the oh-so-fertile (dirt fertile, you gutter-minded fools) Taurus. This is a perfect day to pivot in any way you need to and set goals for Spring and the year ahead.

Our Taurus new moon is a 4/8 new moon.

2 (Taurus moon) + 2 (Taurus Sun) = 4. 4 (Taurus new moon) + 4 (April 2025) = 8.

We can see that there is likely still some stressor here, brought in through the repeated "8" energy from the Libra full moon earlier, but we are getting somewhere. And, this day carries "4" energy that echoes the "4" energy of the month. Settle in and take real, tangible steps toward the life you want. And maybe eat some pie. Taurus loves pie.

Mercury

We are most of the way through our first Mercury retrograde of the year, which ends on 4/7 at 26° Pisces. After stationing direct, Mercury enters Aries on 4/16, the third big hit to 00° Aries, our major power point of 2025, and arguably the biggest hit of this point, Mercury-wise. Either of these dates is a powerful day for road opening, pathfinding, or any other type of Mercury magic you might wish to cast.

As Mercury enters Aries, they will conjunct Neptune and sextile Pluto. I wouldn't expect either of these events to be noticed or particularly eventful in and of themselves.

Mercury isn't at its best in Aries, but it is much better suited there than in Pisces, where it was both in its exile and detriment. We should all watch out for speaking out of turn or being too ego-driven in our opinions during this time. We're in post-retrograde territory from 4/7-4/26, so we might fall into that same old hole with miscommunications, whatever that means for you. I'd remind you to think before you speak, but neither Pisces nor Aries is known for doing that, so take that with a whole bucket full of salt.

Communication may finally settle more around 4/26 as Mercury exits its post-retrograde shadow. Notably, 09° Aries was the point of our solar eclipse in March, so things may feel a bit angsty and larger than life as we pass through this transition.

Venus

Like Mercury, Venus will round out the last legs of her 40-day retrograde journey as we enter the month of April. Until she stations direct on 4/12 under the light of the Libra full moon (ruled by Venus), we will be working to reform and rediscover how we interact with others. Venus always gets called the planet and romance, but that is overly simplistic - she rules over how we interact with others diplomatically and not-so-diplomatically. When Venus is well placed in the skies, interpersonal relationships tend to run more smoothly; when she is poorly placed, they are more likely to go awry.

Mars, our other relationship planet, was retrograde from December through the end of February, so we've been in this relationship hole for a while now. Times like this test the strength of our interpersonal relationships (big R and otherwise). Undoubtedly, there have been breakups and big reveals. It's been notable that both Venus and Mars have been poorly placed through each of their retrogrades (Venus retrogrades in Aries, the sign of her exile, and Mars retrogrades in Cancer, the sign of his fall). Everybody has been out of patience, out of time, and too emotionally strung out to be able to do more than the bare minimum for five months.

We deserve a break.

We will get one, but there's still more to iron out before we get there.

On 4/2, Venus conjuncts the North Node at 26° Pisces - this is one of THE fated moments in this retrograde cycle. Watch what comes up during this time or what disappears. This is your cosmic reminder that if a partner says they want to leave you, believe them. Move on with your fucking life. You deserve someone who WANTS to be with you.

Venus is exalted in Pisces, but she still has a shadow side, and that is emotional manipulation. This is a significant stellium between retrograde Venus, the North Node, retrograde Mercury, and Saturn. If Venus conjunct the North Node speaks of fated relationships (I use that term loosely here - no two people are meant to be together) - when you add in Saturn, this is the hammer of fate. Retrogrades are more indicative of endings than beginnings.

This is definitely break-up weather. I know every time I say that, I freak some people out. I want to clarify that breakup weather won't even slow down a couple who's well suited for each other and committed to working through their differences. It does show irreconcilable differences and sometimes forces someone's hand.

Venus retrograde is a reminder that sometimes, love isn't enough.

This is further indicated because Venus is about to make double trines to Mars, our other relationship planet. First, retrograde Venus will trine Mars in Cancer on 4/6, and then she will do so again while she is in Aries and he is in Leo next month. We can see the first as a test and the second as a reward for those who passed if you wish. Trines are overall positive, but a trine between Venus in retrograde and Mars in his fall is so-so, at best.

Then, just to be a stick-in-the-mud, retrograde Venus conjuncts Saturn at 25° Cancer on 4/7. I suspect this will be a hard day, especially for Venusian types (artists/femmes/all Taurus and Libra types). We are being asked to be mature about how interactions with other people - this will piss some people off, for sure. It's worth remembering that Venus in Pisces is the universal lover, she believes ALL people deserve more love, not just who you deem worthy. This can be a hard sell in a divided world.

Things will get notably lighter as Venus stations direct on 4/12, but we still have a lot of ground to cover on our post-retrograde shadows (Mercury, Venus, AND Mars), so we aren't out of the proverbial woods yet.

Venus will do the same thing all over again; she first conjuncts the North Node at 25° Pisces on 4/20 and then Saturn at 26° Pisces on 4/24. It's worth keeping in mind that for this entire time (from 4/1 to 4/24), Venus has only moved 2 degrees, and she has kept this tight stellium to the North Node and Saturn through April. This is where the real meat is, to be a bit gross about it - this is where the sausage is made. This has the opportunity to be a real revolution of the Venusian spirit, and all Venus types (Taurus or Libra Sun/Moon/Ascendant/Venus or Venus conjunct to these points) will feel it hard.

And heavy. Saturn is always very heavy and is amplified by the amorphous depths of water Pisces and the 12th house of the unconscious. If you have hard Venus work to do (and you feel comfortable working with her in retrograde), April is the time to do it.

Finally, on 4/30, Venus enters Aries once more. Again, this is a big hit on that 00° point I mentioned in the Mercury section. But also, Venus is in exile in cardinal Aries, the opposite sign to her home, Libra. Having her further from Saturn and the North Node will feel better, but only just.

Mars

We're a month out from Mar's retrograde cycles, and it's starting to show. Life might, finally, feel like it's starting to pick up speed. We have to deal with half a month more of Mars in the sign of its fall in mutable Cancer, but by 4/18, we are in the clear as Mars enters Leo.

It is over. It is over. It is over.

Mars in Leo is the epitome of the brave lion: perhaps a bit recklessly fearless, even. Do what you need to do - this is good energy, and we could use a fiery Mars placement after that watery mess - but be careful where you roar, if you know what I mean. Mars in Leo tends to make people extra territorial, and some don't have any chill. Take that as you will.

Mars will square off with the Sun and oppose Pluto, but those feel like death rattles, nothing more.

It's smooth sailing ahead - the day Mars enters Leo is the perfect day to do some Mars magic if you've been holding off on working with him while he was retrograde and in his fall.

Jupiter and Saturn

Jupiter and Saturn are making moves to exit their current signs (Gemini and Pisces) and will continue to square off with one another as they do so. This is part of an ongoing cycle that will continue until Jupiter finally pulls ahead of its slower-moving rival.

The only major transit (other than Venus conjunct Saturn, covered above in the Venus section) is that Saturn will conjunct the North Node at 26° Pisces on 4/14. This aspect happens every 18-20 years, so it's a big deal. This is fate meets consequence, plain and simple. These two have similar impacts; combined, they pack a life-altering punch. This is more likely to be felt on a societal level - I would expect to see some significant upheaval occur on a global or at least regional level around the middle of the month.

If you have a personal planet at 26° of the mutable or water signs or mutable lunar nodes, you might want to stay aware through this transit. There is a chance this could hit a bit closer to home. This could, for some, feel a bit like an extra-special eclipse season made just for you. That could go really well or really badly.

Looking Ahead

May is going to be downright pedestrian after the last two months, but there is one big change on the horizon: mid-month, Saturn will enter Aries, completing our first hit on 00° Aries that I have been on about all year long. That will change everything. We'll talk about this more in the May update.

Saturn retrograde is probably the least pleasant influence around. Saturn is a hard-nosed, Mr. Brass Tacks himself, the teacher with the big ruler that insists you dot all your I’s and cross all your T’s before recess. He teaches us about responsibility and claiming our authority in the world, a class (Character Building 101) many of us would rather skip. The first two happen in Pisces-Gemini, but the third and final one takes place after Jupiter has moved on to Cancer, and Saturn to Aries - which will also involve Neptune, close to Saturn (but not exactly conjunct). Mutable sign challenges indicate new situations which we need to deal with before they escalate and are more difficult.

(And 2025, astrologically, is going to be a trip. Best to get our ducks in a row, now!)

So how might this pan out?

Many of us are going to have to deal with boundary (water sign) issues - what seemed like a perfectly safe “dam” dissolves or fades away. Or, we may realize there need to be boundaries, and we need to build them ourselves.

Some people will have to face up (Saturn) to any escapist (Pisces) tendencies. If we’ve been avoiding something, it refuses to stay ignored any more.

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and has a lot to do with endings and (perceived) finality. With stern Saturn here, we may have to accept that some situation is well and truly over. Time to get ready to move on. As astrologer Isabel Hickey wrote, “Test is one of severance, letting go and letting God.”

Saturn moves slowly at the start and the finish of this backwards dance; I’ve been able to combine aspects for a general picture. From the faster planets’ point of view, they’re too far apart; but Saturn’s point of view, they are linked closely.

Backstory

It’s hard to ignore the whispers, the stares, the rumors. No one seemed to know what business Charlotte had in Red Creek, but the townspeople thought it was strange, the way she kept to herself, the way she seemed to be entirely able to support herself at such a young age, the way she clammed up at the slightest question about her past. Especially when her story was so simple, so boring- she’d lived in Los Angeles for her entire life, and after an explosive falling out with her family, she decided she’d had enough of the traffic, the heat, and the noise. Years before, she’d been enchanted by an article about northern Michigan in National Geographic, so at only twenty years old, she packed her car and drove thousands of miles away from home in search of a fresh start. It took a few months, but soon she was old news, and people stopped turning to stare when they saw her walk into a room. When she started to publicly date Nathan Talbot, the whispers died off completely. It was disorienting, being accepted into the community almost overnight after months of being the source of such gossip. But more than that, it was a relief to no longer be seen with those questioning, suspicious eyes. Charlotte’s marriage to Nathan only further cemented her in the community, and by the time they’d had their first child, no one could imagine a time that Charlotte wasn’t floating around town, camera in hand. She didn’t know what a blessing it was to be so accepted, so loved- not until the first death.  Hannah Visser’s death affected her in such a profound, almost visceral way. She’d left home to escape chaos, and had somehow found herself in a situation that had her paranoid and terrified, unable to sleep at night. She came home one day, a great pyrenees puppy in her arms, and that seemed to put her at ease. Knowing she had something between her family and the danger kept her anxiety manageable, and she’s kept a dog of some kind in the house ever since.  Charlotte’s adoration for her children can be seen around every corner at her home- pictures all over the walls, sitting in frames on dressers and side tables. She would do anything to keep them safe, and they are at the forefront of her mind. She may not have always been perfect, but she feels she did the best she could.   Around town, Charlotte can be found every morning at early rise bakery, a lakeside grill on the weekends, and on her twice-daily walks around town with Bear. Photography is a huge talent and passion of hers, and working at the register is more about keeping busy and staying creative than making a living. She’s not entirely comfortable in front of a camera though, only having photos taken when absolutely necessary. Occasionally, she’ll sell prints of her favorite photos around town, but never online. 

Wanted Connections

With Charlotte and Nathan being privately separated, it would be fun to have a lil thing on the side to spice things up, as a treat. It would probably start slow and accidentally, since she really doesn’t want to make waves, but could eventually turn into full-fledged sneaking around. -temporarily unavailable due to recent unpleasantness in red creek  Her group of friends, people she meets at the bakery every morning. Probably close-ish friends, people she can gossip and bitch with. I picture them having a book club, but it’s just an excuse to go to each other’s house and drink wine. A true bestie. Probably the only one who knows about her separation, and knows more about her than anyone else, really. This would have to be someone she trusts with her entire life, since she is a very closed book. Likely someone she’s been friends with since she came to Red Creek. "Adopted" kid- Someone in the community that charlotte has taken under her wing. It could be one of her children's friends, or just a young person that doesn't have anyone around for them. She probably invites them over for dinners, brings them baked goods and little presents, just generally tries to be a positive mother figure to them. This could be a long-standing connection that has taken place since they were young, or is relatively new! Fellow dog-walkers!! Charlottes’s dog has a lot of energy, so she gets her daily exercise in with two walks a day. Scary dog privilege is a lot of work! It’d be fun if this was a newer connection, someone she didn’t interact with much before she started taking a new route, or something like that. sully was born under a shadow of controversy. his mother was the other woman, the one who "ruined a marriage” and the town never let her forget it. she gave birth to sully when his father was still married to someone else—though by the time sully was four, his dad had finally left his wife and moved in permanently.

those early years were the closest sully ever came to a normal family. sunday breakfasts, silly bedtime stories, his father carrying him on his shoulders. sully believed everything had worked out. he didn’t understand the bitterness trailing behind his mother like smoke.

These two don't really get solo posts cause they're not really in my main stories, but they are there and mentioned to be friends with some people so yeah.. also i dunno if these two even look similar, but they have the vibes that i wanted so here we are.

Hunter & Ana Huntsman!

Hunter is 17 and Ana is one year younger than him.

Their dad isn't really a shitty person, he just got punished & sent to the isle because he allegedly helped the Evil Queen with more murders even before Snow White’s instance.

Speaking of- Snow did actually plead his case, but nobody gaf ( another issue with auradon’s justice system but i digress ) and so he was sent away with the other villains.

Their father, Dietrich, wasn't killed by the Evil Queen before she went to "go deal with Snow White", but however she did disfigure his face.

^ He and his father had been working for the Queen for years. He later tells Snow White it was his father who murdered her mother at the Queen's behest. He went into hiding after delivering a pig's heart to the Queen and his face getting disfigured.

While in hiding, Dietrich fell for one of the women, Sarah, nearby where he was staying. And thus the Huntsman siblings were born. Or as the story goes.

It is assumed that at least one of them is the child of the Evil Queen and the other is Sarah’s, but not even they really know. So they choose to believe they both belonged to the latter.

Hunter is smartass of a boy with a love for music, nature, and hunting much like his father.

Ana is also a smartass, but meaner about it. She has a shit ton of unbridled rage surrounding being abandoned on the Isle, as most VKs do, and left without her mother.

Hunter is conflicted about his stance on villainy and being evil due to his father being a person who was raised on wrong-doing, but didn't choose it. Dietrich didn't teach his kids that they had to do anything they didn't feel they had to. Which wasn't too much help on an island where there were absolutely zero laws, but y'know he tried his best so it's okay buddy we get you.

Hunter specializes in archery, and he has the badass ability to shoot arrow after arrow and still hit the bullseye on the same target. He gets more practice and is able to actually enter competitions and things once he gets to Auradon of course.

Ana chooses to be evil in a sort of “stick it to the man” type of way. She does it all cause she knows it pisses off Auradonians and she hates King Beast and all of those involved in the Isle’s creation.

Ana specializes in knife and axe throwing, originally liking close combat interactions at first and expanding her skills from there.

The two both have their fair share of scars from being on the Isle and not really into the whole “evil” thing. The Evil Queen, when she’s not abusing and manipulating Evie, often drops by to remind them they are another one of their father’s biggest failures. So you can imagine there’s a great distaste surrounding her in their home.

His birthday is on March 13th, meaning that his sign is Pisces.

Ana's is on April 26th, and his zodiac sign is Taurus.

Hi, Hello, Happy New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces!! 🐠🐠✨

This eclipse is a bit of a doozy y’all, and I don’t say that to freak anybody out because I don’t think anyone should be freaking out about eclipses, but because it coincides with Mercury Rx reentering Pisces on 4/9 followed by a Mars-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius on the 10th, and Sun conj Mercury Rx on the 11th. When we have a lot of significant transits like these all bunched up together, the energy can be tense and people can easily be overwhelmed.

So before I get into the message of these beautiful cards from the Intuitive Night Goddess Tarot, I just want to remind everyone to slow down, to breathe, and stay away from those conspiracy theory videos that insist your whole life is going to change overnight or that the world will somehow fall into a zombie apocalypse if you blink too long. Make room for whatever you’re feeling and try to remember that this can be a busy, chaotic time for everyone.

The 4 of Wands speaks to this Mercury Rx and the need to slow down and reconsider our boundaries. This is something that is very difficult for a sign like Pisces, who struggles to disentangle themselves from the emotional narrative of the peoples around them but even more so for Aries, which simply can’t be bothered to slow down when it’s mind has been made up.

It’s likely that you have projects, goals, and such that you feel like are on the verge of being “Done,” but will find over the next week that there is more tweaking and perfecting necessary to move forward because you haven’t yet considered all of the angles.

If you are like me, you might also be a perfectionist that feels like they can’t walk away until they get things “just right.” (Which honestly, could be never.)

Well if you are, then you also have to learn that creation is exhausting and therefore not having firm, explicit boundaries about how you will treat your body is necessary for any kind of sustainable work schedule. What works for me is setting timers to remind myself to switch tasks. To record my progress everyday so I have a physical reminder that yes, I did work, and it mattered and it adds up over time, I didn’t just imagine it! It’s intentionally scheduling days off because I work for myself and this often leads me to working nonstop.

The Temperance card is a reminder that there are times of work and times of play, times of progress and times of rest. We need both of these times in order sustain our bodies and minds in healthy ways in the long term. This Eclipse Szn, it is time to pause and celebrate how far you’ve come, instead of having that extra energy drink and hammering out the details. Focus less on how far you have left to go and just be proud of yourself for getting to this point.

It’s time to make your boundaries with yourself explicit, so that you can express them to others and they can respect your boundaries too. And I know, this is so much easier said than done, which is why you definitely deserve to have a cookie and hang out with your friends after. Pay attention to who respects your “No,” who accepts your “Maybe next time,” and who reminds you “As long as you’re taken care of, I’m happy.”

As we move into this Mars-Saturn conjunction you may find yourself ready to let go of things, perceptions, ideas, attitudes, old clothes, or even jobs and relationships you’ve outgrown. This is it’s own sort of milestone, even if it feels small or insignificant now, you will look back on this moment as a key time when due to this shedding, you started to see yourself just a little more clearly. i feel like march has been really intense... anyone else? i think the aqua/pisces/aries mix can be tough, and with the coming of spring it's a very impactful time of year. anyway, april starts out with the moon trine mercury, in sagittarius and aries. this is a nice transit, though very fast; your feelings and thoughts work together harmoniously to find the heart of the matter. complementing this is venus, which is currently conjunct neptune in ephemeral pisces, and sextile uranus in collected taurus. two very nice aspects here, bringing some much-needed calm and compassion to us before the storm that is mercury going retrograde hits. for general advice on mercury retrograde, see this post! throughout the first week of april, the moon will join pluto in aquarius. coupled with mercury in retrograde, i would say be cautious; not scared, but collect yourself and your thoughts before you speak up. don't go in blindly and don't give into your every desire. venus soon ingresses into aries, which can make it harder to ignore those desires, especially when the moon forms a conjunction. while it's good to chase your dreams, remember to stay grounded!

when the moon joins mercury in aries, we might be feeling pent up and ready to blow. if you can, look for an outlet that doesn't involve direct communication with others, unless you have a trusted person you can vent to knowing that they really get you. it's a good time to exercise or go hiking if you're into it, to burn off some frustration and clear your head. the new moon in aries on the 8th can amplify these struggles. again, i would say, do something physical (i like to clean my house around the new moon, it's a good workout and helps me feel calmer and less chaotic), and refine (or start to form) your plans. don't necessarily make any huge leaps right now though. later on, mars joins saturn to form a conjunction in pisces; this placement signifies immense inner strength and endurance. this is a good time to remind yourself that you're stronger than you give yourself credit for, and to be proud of how hard you are working to achieve your goals. it may bring up issues of balance, however; are you a workaholic? are you not putting in the effort/resources you could be? some reflection and a plan might be useful if you're feeling unbalanced.

2013. seth had been an active member of the renaissance faire for years. a lover of history, he fit it easily, and truly felt he had found his place in the jousting scene. they had grown up riding horses, and were an attentive student, always wanting to know more. a few months in, he was eager to try the wooden lances. it was hard to deny someone so eager, who had come so far. it happened so fast, when everything that could go wrong did. the lance shattered, a fluke in of itself. a large, six inch piece found it's self through a gap in his armor, impossible if it weren't for seth's own eagerness to get started. he managed to stay on the horse, finding her presence reassuring as it became harder and harder to breathe. lend me your strength was his thought as he leaned against his horse's neck, the world slipping away from him.

seth is an animal shifter, meaning he is able to transform into all different kinds of animals. while he is unable to transform his complete body, he is able to transform up to fifty-five percent of his body at a time, which is a skill that has been cultivated the course of a decade. when seth first developed his power, he could only transform a hand or foot at time. when transformed, he is able to do all that animal can do ( or rather, the part of the animal can do ). this process is not at all difficult for him, and seth is well practiced in using it on the fly. he constantly works to see if he can transform more completely, though has hit a plateau for the past year.

drawbacks / vulnerabilities… 

the biggest drawback is the fact that seth cannot transform completely, forty-five percent of him has to stay in an unaltered human form. besides that, while it is not strenuous for him to transform, it is energy intensive. he normally eats around seven to ten thousand calories per day to accommodate the changes. as well, there is a limitation when it comes to size. he cannot transform into any species that is greater than a ton, or a species that weighs less than two hundred pounds.

seth only joined cerberus in 2021, despite having obtained his powers in 2013. in the beginning, his powers were so lacking that when he auditioned, he was quietly rejected. he would audition four more times before he was finally accepted. he wanted to be a hero, like all those he had read about growing up. part of a small minority who has such incredible powers, he feels an obligation to use them for good. since joining three years ago, seth has thrived at cerberus. the training at cerberus has improved his power usage, and he enjoys working towards goals with his colleagues. emphasis on the working with other people, since he rarely works alone. he's well aware of his own limitations, and prefers to partner up to make up for them. it helps him in check too, prone to rashness when left alone. one of the reasons he's stuck as a level ii agent. between the announcement at andersen's gala, and cerberus' rebuttal, seth hasn't been able to make heads or tails of it. a small, unspoken part of him would be almost grateful if someone had given him this power, for he feels more complete with it.

Backstory

It’s hard to ignore the whispers, the stares, the rumors. No one seemed to know what business Charlotte had in Red Creek, but the townspeople thought itt was strange, the way she kept to herself, the way she seemed to be entirely able to support herself at such a young age, the way she clammed up at the slightest question about her past. Especially when her story was so simple, so boring- she’d lived in Los Angeles for her entire life, and after falling out with her family, she decided she’d had enough of the traffic, the heat, the noise. Years before, she’d been enchanted by an article about northern Michigan in National Geographic, so at only twenty years old, she packed her car and drove thousands of miles away from home in search of a fresh start. After a few months, she was old news, and people stopped turning to stare when they saw her walk into a room. When she started to publicly date Nathan Talbot, the whispers died off completely. It was disorienting, being accepted into the community almost overnight after months of being the source of such gossip. But more than that, it was a relief to no longer be seen with those questioning, suspicious eyes. Charlotte’s marriage to Nathan only further cemented her in the community, and by the time they’d had their first child, no one could imagine a time that Lottie wasn’t floating around town, camera in hand. With Charlotte and Nathan being privately separated, it would be fun to have a lil thing on the side to spice things up, as a treat. It would probably start slow and accidentally, since she really doesn’t want to make waves, but could eventually turn into full-fledged sneaking around.  Her group of friends, people she meets at the bakery every morning. Probably close-ish friends, people she can gossip and bitch with. I picture them having a book club, but it’s just an excuse to go to each other’s house and drink wine. A true BFF. Lottie’s dog has a lot of energy, so she gets her daily exercise in with two walks a day. Scary dog privilege is a lot of work! It’d be fun if this was a newer connection, someone she didn’t interact with much before she started taking a new route, or something like that. Now they purposefully go out on their walks at the same time!
