Yoongi’s patience with you seemed to always be never ending. Nothing that you did ever seemed to cross the line, and when it did, you knew.

Well, today was one of those days.

Yoongi had been in Paris for work for a few days, and with the time difference, you got bored at night and stayed up late, sending him pictures and videos of yourself. They started off with sending him cute outfits that you bought, and then lingerie. However, he stopped responding when you sent him a video of yourself in the bathtub, making you wonder if you might have taken things a little too far. You didn’t want to interrupt him if he was dealing with important business.

“Yoongi?” You questioned him quickly. “I thought you wouldn’t be home until tomorrow.”

Yoongi stepped towards you. “My manager told me there was an earlier flight, so I left right after my event; hence why I’m so dressed up.”

“Yeah, you look so sexy.” You complimented him as he walked behind you. “What made you decide to leave early?”

That was a stupid question.

“Oh did someone suddenly forget what she did to me?” Yoongi’s large hands were on your shoulders.

You were silent, looking at your computer.

“Hey sweetheart. That was a question.” Yoongi leaned down, his low voice in your ear.

“I forgot about it.” You responded, reaching to rest one of your hands onto his.

“I’m not mad. You can send me whatever you want; you know that.” Yoongi brushed a piece of hair away from his face. “But to send me a video of you in the bathtub, while I’m sitting at a meeting? I had to cover my lap like I’m a goddamn teenager.”

You smirked to yourself at his reaction, not realizing he wasn’t done talking.

“Now I’m in the mood to edge you until you cry. Make you learn your lesson.”

You bit down on your bottom lip. Fuck. You knew Yoongi meant it when he said things like that.

“Yoongi, I —" You started to speak, but you were cut off.

I like to start these with a quote Martin Bulgerin (www . biopscinst . Com):

Saturn retrograde is probably the least pleasant influence around. Saturn is a hard-nosed, Mr. Brass Tacks himself, the teacher with the big ruler that insists you dot all your I’s and cross all your T’s before recess. He teaches us about responsibility and claiming our authority in the world, a class (Character Building 101) many of us would rather skip. Needless to say, this kind of discipline and skill is very useful later, even though the cycle itself is rough to get through.

One of the “highlights” coming up for us is the first of three squares between Saturn and Jupiter. The first two happen in Pisces-Gemini, but the third and final one takes place after Jupiter has moved on to Cancer, and Saturn to Aries - which will also involve Neptune, close to Saturn (but not exactly conjunct). Mutable sign challenges indicate new situations which we need to deal with before they escalate and are more difficult.

(And 2025, astrologically, is going to be a trip. Best to get our ducks in a row, now!)

So how might this pan out?

Many of us are going to have to deal with boundary (water sign) issues - what seemed like a perfectly safe “dam” dissolves or fades away. Or, we may realize there need to be boundaries, and we need to build them ourselves.

Some people will have to face up (Saturn) to any escapist (Pisces) tendencies. If we’ve been avoiding something, it refuses to stay ignored any more.

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac and has a lot to do with endings and (perceived) finality. With stern Saturn here, we may have to accept that some situation is well and truly over. Time to get ready to move on. As astrologer Isabel Hickey wrote, “Test is one of severance, letting go and letting God.”

Saturn moves slowly at the start and the finish of this backwards dance; I’ve been able to combine aspects for a general picture. From the faster planets’ point of view, they’re too far apart; but Saturn’s point of view, they are linked closely.

Backstory

It’s hard to ignore the whispers, the stares, the rumors. No one seemed to know what business Charlotte had in Red Creek, but the townspeople thought itt was strange, the way she kept to herself, the way she seemed to be entirely able to support herself at such a young age, the way she clammed up at the slightest question about her past. Especially when her story was so simple, so boring- she’d lived in Los Angeles for her entire life, and after falling out with her family, she decided she’d had enough of the traffic, the heat, the noise. Years before, she’d been enchanted by an article about northern Michigan in National Geographic, so at only twenty years old, she packed her car and drove thousands of miles away from home in search of a fresh start. After a few months, she was old news, and people stopped turning to stare when they saw her walk into a room. When she started to publicly date Nathan Talbot, the whispers died off completely. It was disorienting, being accepted into the community almost overnight after months of being the source of such gossip. But more than that, it was a relief to no longer be seen with those questioning, suspicious eyes. Charlotte’s marriage to Nathan only further cemented her in the community, and by the time they’d had their first child, no one could imagine a time that Lottie wasn’t floating around town, camera in hand. She didn’t know what a blessing it was to be so accepted, so loved- not until the first death.  Hannah Visser’s death affected her in such a profound, almost visceral way. She’d left home to escape chaos, and had somehow found herself in a situation that had her paranoid and terrified, unable to sleep at night. She came home one day, a great pyrenees puppy in her arms, and that seemed to put her at ease. Knowing she had something between her family and the danger kept her anxiety manageable, and she’s kept a dog of some kind in the house ever since.  Charlotte’s adoration for her children can be seen around every corner at her home- pictures all over the walls, sitting in frames on dressers and side tables. She would do anything to keep them safe, and they are at the forefront of her mind. She may not have always been perfect, but she feels she did the best she could.   Around town, Lottie can be found every morning at early rise bakery, having a cup of coffee. Photography is a huge talent and passion of hers, and working at the register is more about keeping busy and staying creative than making a living. She’s not entirely comfortable in front of a camera though, only having photos taken when absolutely necessary. Occasionally, she’ll sell prints of her favorite photos around town, but never online. 

Wanted Connections

With Charlotte and Nathan being privately separated, it would be fun to have a lil thing on the side to spice things up, as a treat. It would probably start slow and accidentally, since she really doesn’t want to make waves, but could eventually turn into full-fledged sneaking around.  Her group of friends, people she meets at the bakery every morning. Probably close-ish friends, people she can gossip and bitch with. I picture them having a book club, but it’s just an excuse to go to each other’s house and drink wine. A true BFF. Probably the only one who knows about her separation, and knows more about her than anyone else, really. This would have to be someone she trusts with her entire life, since she is a very closed book. Likely someone she’s been friends with since she came to Red Creek. Fellow dog-walkers!! Lottie’s dog has a lot of energy, so she gets her daily exercise in with two walks a day. Scary dog privilege is a lot of work! It’d be fun if this was a newer connection, someone she didn’t interact with much before she started taking a new route, or something like that. Now they purposefully go out on their walks at the same time!

Hi, Hello, Happy New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces!! 🐠🐠✨

This eclipse is a bit of a doozy y’all, and I don’t say that to freak anybody out because I don’t think anyone should be freaking out about eclipses, but because it coincides with Mercury Rx reentering Pisces on 4/9 followed by a Mars-Saturn conjunction in Aquarius on the 10th, and Sun conj Mercury Rx on the 11th. When we have a lot of significant transits like these all bunched up together, the energy can be tense and people can easily be overwhelmed.

So before I get into the message of these beautiful cards from the Intuitive Night Goddess Tarot, I just want to remind everyone to slow down, to breathe, and stay away from those conspiracy theory videos that insist your whole life is going to change overnight or that the world will somehow fall into a zombie apocalypse if you blink too long. Make room for whatever you’re feeling and try to remember that this can be a busy, chaotic time for everyone.

The 4 of Wands speaks to this Mercury Rx and the need to slow down and reconsider our boundaries. This is something that is very difficult for a sign like Pisces, who struggles to disentangle themselves from the emotional narrative of the peoples around them but even more so for Aries, which simply can’t be bothered to slow down when it’s mind has been made up.

It’s likely that you have projects, goals, and such that you feel like are on the verge of being “Done,” but will find over the next week that there is more tweaking and perfecting necessary to move forward because you haven’t yet considered all of the angles.

Well if you are, then you also have to learn that creation is exhausting and therefore not having firm, explicit boundaries about how you will treat your body is necessary for any kind of sustainable work schedule. What works for me is setting timers to remind myself to switch tasks. To record my progress everyday so I have a physical reminder that yes, I did work, and it mattered and it adds up over time, I didn’t just imagine it! It’s intentionally scheduling days off because I work for myself and this often leads me to working nonstop.

The Temperance card is a reminder that there are times of work and times of play, times of progress and times of rest. We need both of these times in order sustain our bodies and minds in healthy ways in the long term. i feel like march has been really intense... anyone else? i think the aqua/pisces/aries mix can be tough, and with the coming of spring it's a very impactful time of year. anyway, april starts out with the moon trine mercury, in sagittarius and aries. this is a nice transit, though very fast; your feelings and thoughts work together harmoniously to find the heart of the matter. complementing this is venus, which is currently conjunct neptune in ephemeral pisces, and sextile uranus in collected taurus. two very nice aspects here, bringing some much-needed calm and compassion to us before the storm that is mercury going retrograde hits. for general advice on mercury retrograde, see this post! throughout the first week of april, the moon will join pluto in aquarius. coupled with mercury in retrograde, i would say be cautious; not scared, but collect yourself and your thoughts before you speak up. don't go in blindly and don't give into your every desire. venus soon ingresses into aries, which can make it harder to ignore those desires, especially when the moon forms a conjunction. while it's good to chase your dreams, remember to stay grounded!

when the moon joins mercury in aries, we might be feeling pent up and ready to blow. if you can, look for an outlet that doesn't involve direct communication with others, unless you have a trusted person you can vent to knowing that they really get you. it's a good time to exercise or go hiking if you're into it, to burn off some frustration and clear your head. the new moon in aries on the 8th can amplify these struggles. again, i would say, do something physical (i like to clean my house around the new moon, it's a good workout and helps me feel calmer and less chaotic), and refine (or start to form) your plans. don't necessarily make any huge leaps right now though. later on, mars joins saturn to form a conjunction in pisces; this placement signifies immense inner strength and endurance. this is a good time to remind yourself that you're stronger than you give yourself credit for, and to be proud of how hard you are working to achieve your goals. it may bring up issues of balance, however; are you a workaholic? are you not putting in the effort/resources you could be? some reflection and a plan might be useful if you're feeling unbalanced.

the full moon on the 24th could be quite tense, as pluto in aquarius makes it a t-square. while stress and tension aren't pleasant sensations or states to be in, this full moon could be a kind of catalyst moment; we often think of the full lunar phase as a time of release and reflection, and i think this will hold very true here. i'm personally expecting to feel like a wreck by this point, but often, for me at least, those "breaking point" moments help me gain clarity and rearrange what isn't working, or what's causing me stress. i hope that your full moon won't be stressful, but if it is, try doing something relaxing and just giving yourself the space to feel what you need to.

Energy Update: Saturn enters Pisces 3/7/2023

Today, under the light of our Virgo full moon, Saturn leaves behind the structure of fixed Aquarius for the amalgamous, mutable energy of Pisces. This is a big deal - Saturn stays in any given sign for three years and his sojourn through the signs sets the feeling of time as we experience it.

It is worth noting that while Saturn was in the fixed air sign of Aquarius we experienced a global airborne pandemic that forced us away from society (which Aquarius rulers) and keep us inside our own houses (see also: the unmoving nature of the fixed signs). Saturn entered Aquarius in March of 2020 as the lockdowns were being enacted and we can expect (even more of) the pandemic restrictions to be lifted as time moves on and we enter the season of Saturn in Aquarius.* There is reason to hope that this switchover will end the pandemic altogether, but only time will tell if that comes to pass. Pisces is a very different beast from Aquarius. Where Aquarius holds accountable, corrects, and ultimately changes through the intense combination of its two rulers (Saturn and Uranus); Pisces uses Neptune's energy to dissolve and (hopefully) unify.

Many astrologers like to tout the exalted Piscean virtues of blending and melding together, dissolving boundaries, and universal love. It is worth noting, almost immediately here, that these traits are anathema to the concept of Saturnian time. Saturn widdles us away to the cores of who we are. Saturn controls and corrects to show you what is important. Pisces would like to believe that everything, if melded back into primordial goo, can be equally important but Saturn would like to state that we have moved far beyond the primordial goo phase of existence. Pisces does not want boundaries and accountability and Saturn is made of boundaries and accountability. This conflict is what we are going to have to sit in and process as he makes his slow journey over the next three years. Perhaps it can be said that Pisces NEEDS to constrictive energy of Saturn because universal love without boundaries sounds an awful lot like co-dependency. Perhaps Saturn NEEDS Pisces to be reminded to soften those hard edges.

We will all fall somewhere on that spectrum (based on our own personal charts and life experiences) and where we fall on that spectrum will likely impact how we experience this three-year transit. Nobody is exempt from the pressures that Saturn brings to the table it will affect us all on both a personal level and globally. This transit will most specifically affect individuals with a strong Piscean impact in their natal birth charts and especially those who were born with Saturn IN Pisces who will be experiencing this transit as their Saturn Return. If you don't have the effort in you, this is going to be a hard go of things. There's no way around that.

This is a good transit to use towards putting the work into strengthening your spiritual gifts - that is a lovely combination of Piscean and Saturnian energies. But this does come with a caveat (it always does): remember that all that glitters is not gold. Pisces, being the last sign of the horoscope wheel that is ruled by the 12th house of the unconscious, can attract some real creepers if you know what I mean. Not everything that's "for sale" during this three-year transit is going to be for your own good so if you're the gullible type, I suggest putting your skeptic glasses on, stat. If it looks too easy or too good to be true, it probably is. And if it is, it's gonna be extra hard because Saturn is here to rub that lesson right in.

2013. seth had been an active member of the renaissance faire for years. a lover of history, he fit it easily, and truly felt he had found his place in the jousting scene. they had grown up riding horses, and were an attentive student, always wanting to know more. a few months in, he was eager to try the wooden lances. it was hard to deny someone so eager, who had come so far. it happened so fast, when everything that could go wrong did. the lance shattered, a fluke in of itself. a large, six inch piece found it's self through a gap in his armor, impossible if it weren't for seth's own eagerness to get started. he managed to stay on the horse, finding her presence reassuring as it became harder and harder to breathe. lend me your strength was his thought as he leaned against his horse's neck, the world slipping away from him.

seth is an animal shifter, meaning he is able to transform into all different kinds of animals. while he is unable to transform his complete body, he is able to transform up to fifty-five percent of his body at a time, which is a skill that has been cultivated the course of a decade. when seth first developed his power, he could only transform a hand or foot at time. when transformed, he is able to do all that animal can do ( or rather, the part of the animal can do ). this process is not at all difficult for him, and seth is well practiced in using it on the fly. he constantly works to see if he can transform more completely, though has hit a plateau for the past year.

drawbacks / vulnerabilities… 

the biggest drawback is the fact that seth cannot transform completely, forty-five percent of him has to stay in an unaltered human form. besides that, while it is not strenuous for him to transform, it is energy intensive. he normally eats around seven to ten thousand calories per day to accommodate the changes. as well, there is a limitation when it comes to size. he cannot transform into any species that is greater than a ton, or a species that weighs less than two hundred pounds.

seth only joined cerberus in 2021, despite having obtained his powers in 2013. in the beginning, his powers were so lacking that when he auditioned, he was quietly rejected. he would audition four more times before he was finally accepted. he wanted to be a hero, like all those he had read about growing up. part of a small minority who has such incredible powers, he feels an obligation to use them for good. since joining three years ago, seth has thrived at cerberus. the training at cerberus has improved his power usage, and he enjoys working towards goals with his colleagues. emphasis on the working with other people, since he rarely works alone. he's well aware of his own limitations, and prefers to partner up to make up for them. it helps him in check too, prone to rashness when left alone. one of the reasons he's stuck as a level ii agent. between the announcement at andersen's gala, and cerberus' rebuttal, seth hasn't been able to make heads or tails of it. a small, unspoken part of him would be almost grateful if someone had given him this power, for he feels more complete with it.

Gray was born to a very loving large family however his grandmother was his primary caretaker. He grew up with her and his grandpa in their over the top manor in the countryside. Jamie Grayson  was a sick child growing up so his parents thought it was a good idea for him to live with his grandparents in the countryside. Jamie loved being with his grandparents and was thrilled being on their farm. He got along with them and any other elder that came to visit the farm. Gray's family would go there all the time, especially around holidays.

He could never really socialise with people of his age making him feel isolated and detached from the world.  The feeling of not belonging persisted into his teenage years and even into his adult life , making it hard for him to form relationships and bonds.This led Jamie to spend most of his time in his room, taking up new hobbies everyday. He eventually fell in love with music and art, desiring a career in one of those fields once he grew up.

When his grandparents moved and left him the house to live in while he finished up uni and ended up living there during the last years of his life , Jamie became very lonely. He rented the house out to help pay for expenses but everyone who came eventually left and Jamie was left alone once again. In the end, Jamie was living alone when he had an accident in the bathroom causing him to slip and hit his head hard on the wet floor. It took days for him to be found causing him to have bled out and passed away.

Years had passed by since Jamie had woken up after his fall in the comfort of his home , seeing new faces come and go but none of them stayed. Mostly due to the fact that he kept scaring them off and the house became haunted to the point it had to be exorcised in order to keep the residents from leaving. 

After being banished into purgatory and spending years fighting off the evil monsters that lurked within the bog , he was finally freed by Red on accident and was returned to his former home. After meeting Red his life had changed. He was given a second chance at life ; becoming a father, having a friend ( life partner) and even falling in love. He even  became The God of Death after the demon  brought him back to life by some ancient and powerful magic.

He helped Red defeat Lucifer for the throne of Hell and even fight beside him while they tried to conquer the world.He was given the Underworld as a gift after taking the throne and was made king. As the years went by Jamie lost two people that he loved and his heart broke causing him great pain and sorrow. That sorrow led to the creation of Eidan Grayson : A child he had made from the bones , flesh and blood of the two people he loved and took care of him like a proper father. 

In the end he went on to marry the love of his life– a beautiful moon and nature goddess who he had three children with.Their marriage was full of turmoil due to their past but Jamie loved his wife and did his best to make their marriage work. But nothing was ever enough and his wife grew bitter and resentful with Jamie and their relationship fell apart. 

After her departure , Jamie focused on ruling the underworld properly with his best friend , Red who he eventually married so they could raise their children in a stable household and protect their own hearts from ever falling in love again. However their time in the underworld was short lived since Thorne had summoned them back into the mundane world and this allowed Jamie to take back his company while he manages Hex properly.

Musings & Encouragement, As We Prepare to Enter Spring Eclipse Season & Huge Jupiterian Changes

Eclipse Season is coming; March 25th we have the Libra Lunar Eclipse (big endings / releasing & balancing), and April 8th, the Aries Solar Eclipse (encouragement for actively fighting the way into new beginnings).

We have Jupiter (luck or lack, expansion or contraction) conjunct (close to; melding energies) Uranus (unexpected opportunities, desire for freedom and new experiences, idealism, erraticism) for March-May. This is exact (strongest) on April 27th.

We have Jupiter in Gemini (misguided focus of expansion, rash speech vs. carefree disposition, business involving communications) from May 2024 to June 2025, and Jupiter square Saturn (restlessness and uncertainty, limitations and responsibilities, massive tension and karmic expansion) from July to Dec., 2024.

Jupiter rules Sagittarius (modern), and Pisces (traditional), so it feels like He’s always doing something, as those are two mutable (flexible, mentally explorative, and easier energies to adapt with than others.) He’s difficult for me to distinguish much personally, as He’s conjunct my Sun & Moon, thus melding within their energies. There’s a slight lack of clarity, along with seeming diffusion of it’s energy.

He’s my scout planet (the first Planet clockwise, before the Sun). I take it from the name that he scopes out territory (the 6th House, so regular routines and overall health), and always works in some way with the Sun, and the rest of the horoscope.

Jupiter is said to be The Great Benefic. He bestows luck, yet of course He works with it’s opposite face, at times taking it away.

It’s just that all Jupiter knows how to actively do by Himself is to expand the strong energies we already have going on. That’s his role.

So consciously working towards and within harmony, instead of allowing ourselves to stay trapped in dissonance is key.

The scout planet is said to be an indicator of vocation. I’m still studying how, but I felt that familiar buzz in my EM field, of truthfulness when I read this in the classic by Frances Sakoian & Louis S. Acker, “Predictive Astrology”. They, and their contemporaries have already taught me a lot which has become beautifully synchronistic, and so I carefully consider what they have to say.

My Ascendant is progressed into Gemini for that entire time; giving me a period in my life in which I think about new possibilities a lot, and so I have to write more. Example: I just completed and published entry 10 of my Intimate Spiritual Diaries series in only a few months.

As a Virgo, it would often take me days of analyzation to complete one short poem.

So as naturally, I’m writing and publishing more, I’m curious about this time period.

I may need to take more time off, so that I can spend more time meditating and relaxing, so I can sleep regularly.

Or, I may be in a place that is unlike any before.

And I may be in the doorway of harnessing Gemini powers which, without a natal Planet there, I haven’t been able to before.

That excites me.

As it’s Jupiter, maybe I’ll grow into the right size and shape within my spirit, and in the right direction this time.

Never believe anyone who tells you that you have to go through a whole period of your life with absolutely no free will, because, “Astrology”. There is always a way to cope, even if we have to wait to thrive.
