I go from intrigued seeing topless 'Dean' to sick to my stomach in the span of five seconds

This is a pretty well choreographed fight scene

I'm very mixed on this episode. I loved the scene where the shifter talked about Dean's feelings. As usual, the characterisation was great, this was probably Jensen's best acting so far. However, some of the scenes in this episode were WAY too much for me.

Yes to Dean figuring out the shapeshifter uses the sewer to hide/move, I love one (1) smart man.

“This life ain’t without its perks” it is my correct interpretation of this scene that the perks Dean referred to in this scene are getting to save people and do something good, not just the ability to enact violence.

So, they already discovered it’s something that changes appearances and I have to say I kinda like it more when there’s more investigating on the cases.

“A job like this, you can’t get close to people” kinda hits different after the dozens of people they later got close to who ended up dead.

Lmao it hasn’t been 5 minutes and already there’s so much to unpack. Dean having no friends is sooooo sad actually because despite what Sam might had said I don’t think Dean is antisocial and he’d love to make friends but puts his perceived responsibility before mostly everything else. that is everything except his family but even then he could perceive his family as part of his responsibility so, there’s that.
