A cool breeze blew through your hair as you flipped through the songs on your phone. You needed to pick something that was upbeat enough to get a good rhythm going. Finally picking something that would help you begin your long journey, you took in a deep breath and picked up your pace. You were out for a walk. You wanted some fresh air and didn't mind the exercise. Actually, you and your husband were out for a walk but your husband liked to go a little faster. With this being the case, he jogged around the track while you “power walked”. If that even was what you were doing. More like power waddled.

You looked to your right at the beautiful scenery that has always added a little special something to your walk. Sparkling water reflected the sunny day that was today. Birds flew close to the water looking for their breakfast and boats floated across the water in the distance. A sense of serenity overcame you as your music blasted into your ear.

You didn’t realize how long you were staring at the picture before you until you felt a light tap on your shoulder. You whipped your head over to see the source of the intrusion, and a bright smile appeared in your line of sight. Hoseok had caught up to you while you were still on your first lap. He turned around and ran backwards as he talked to you. He tapped his wrist and shook his head slightly, giving you a mimicking chuckle. You pursed your lips and stuck out your tongue at him sending him a mental statement of “leave me be”. As he saw your reaction, he laughed and faced forward running on ahead to begin another lap.

You weren’t walking very fast but the movement began to catch up with you. Sweat formed on your forehead as your breath got faster but you were determined to at least finish this lap. A few minutes passed when a familiar shadow came up behind you. The Hoseok shaped shadow approached you and a hand landed on your shoulder. It pulled you to a stop and spun you around.

Hoseok looked over you with a worried expression. “Hey don't push yourself. I know you like to keep up but our child says otherwise.” You loved that you were pregnant and about to start a family with your beloved but sometimes it did get in the way. He placed a hand on your stomach as he led you to an open place in the grass. He sat down and pulled you with him. You both sat there and caught your breaths as Hoseok rubbed small circles on your back. You hummed in appreciation and closed your eyes to take in the comforting touches. “How about we go get some lunch and take you back home so you can get some rest hmmm?” You opened your eyes and let out a small sigh. “Fine but you have to carry me.”

You let your body go limp in his lap and squinted your eyes up at him. He let out a chuckle as he slowly picked you up in his arms. “Oh my gosh baby, you're getting heavier and heavier everyday.” He pretended to struggle as he walked to the car. “Yah! It's your fault Mr! You made me this way! Fine. Put me down.” “Nope. I will persevere!” You wiggled in his arms but he didn't let you go. “I can't wait to see a little y/n running around. She's going to have me so whipped.” That made both of you laugh and you finally reached the car. “That's true for both of us, Hoseok.”
