Au premise: So, what if mc actually remembered everytime she's reincarnated, and what if she regrets the choices she's made in every single reincarnation and is finally using this timeline to try and fix it once she realizes this might be her only chance. But she is entirely unsure if the boys remember their past lives with her, so she must navigate all these feelings along with judging if they remember too. AN: I just really need to write this and get it out of my system cause it's been in my mind for months now. Also, I am gonna write routes for each guy so if you only want one you can just read that lol. Also consider this a apology if you were disappointed by Zayne's MS branch don't worry pookies I got you!!! Also some of this is my own lore to fill in the gaps! Chapter 1: Zayne Prologue

The sun always seems to shine in Linkon, some clouds dotted the blue sky. Holding up a hand to your face to block the beating rays you took in the site of it for a moment before continuing on your way to the Hunter's Association. There was nothing all that special about your walk, there really never was in truth. Although there was a thought, maybe even a hope that you would come across one of their faces in the crowd. But even then, that wouldn't fix much of anything you knew that.

Eventually, your feet carried you to the building housing your work, the Hunter's Association wasn't anything special. But it was, comfortable you had just become a hunter nearly 3 months ago now and you were already settling into this mundane life of what would fit an office worker. But that's not what you are you're a hunter this should be more exciting, shouldn't it?

However, you didn't have long to ponder anything as Captain Jenna tapped on the corner of your glass desk a faint smile on her lips.

"Y/N, do you have a moment?" Jenna's voice carried an air of concern that wasn't uncommon for the woman but this time it seemed like that of a mother watching over her child. Moving yourself to better face her you replied.

"Yeah sure what do you need?"

"Well today I received a call from Akso Hosptial, from one Dr. Zayne himself, he asked me why you haven't been coming to appointments..." Her words ended in a sigh.

Before you could give an excuse she cut you off. "Nope I don't want to hear it, you're going to get your heart checked today I'm dismissing you for the rest of the day."

Your mouth started to open to respond but promptly closed knowing there was no use in arguing this or else you would have bigger things to worry about. "Fine" You kept your wording short before promptly standing to get your things ready.

As you gathered up your stuff a notification popped onto your phone, you paused knowing the ringtone you had set. Funny enough you set it so you know whose message to avoid if they texted you considering that you were about to see the man that this sound had been attached to you swallowed the dread and checked the message.

"Let me know when you get to the hospital I want to make sure to set aside enough to properly examine you"

A weak smile trailed across your lips 'Always the worrier' you let out a huff and then pocketed your phone to finish up packing the things you needed. You realized today might be a little less boring than others it seemed.

Eventually, you made it to the hospital and headed inside, stopping by the reception you checked in with the nurse.

"Ah Y/N? Please come with me Dr. Zayne asked me to bring you to his office once you arrived" She had the obvious hallmarks of a smile beneath her mask and you simply nodded to the woman as she guided you to the door of the chief cardiac surgeon, and also the man who happens to be your primary care physician.

Although not like those words mattered all that much to considering you've been avoiding him for nearly 6 months.

It hurt to see his face.

You thanked the nurse as she walked off. Hesitantly you knocked on the door and were met with a stotic-sounding "Come in"

"Hope I'm not intruding on anything?" Cautiously you opened the door bracing yourself to see a face that plagued your memories with it's haunting beauty.

"Not at all Miss Y/N..please take a seat and we can get started" He gestured to the chair in front of him as you closed the door behind you. Slowly your feet made their way over and you took a seat finally looking at him again.

He looked as beautiful now as he did then.

You adjusted yourself so you weren't just staring at him emptily "Sorry I didn't reply...I was busy getting things in order" Your words had a hollowness to them.

That was one thing you were glad for though, Zayne never pushed you to open up or even be closer to him than just a simple professional relationship. Which made these visits slightly easier all things considered, but even then it feels like someone is stabbing you in the heart when you look at his eyes and take in the reality of the situation you're in at the moment.

"No need, to apologize I assumed as much" You could tell he was lying, there was a hurt to his words that you had learned to read after all this time. Looking away from his face so you didn't have to dwell on painful thoughts for too long before you spoke again.

"No, I really should have said something....I really am sorry" You tried to let the words be, but even then there was something else they were tinged with. An undeniable sorrow, and underlying pain that you couldn't choke down this once. Zayne didn't get to his position for no reason you could tell he felt it the moment the words left your mouth.

He stayed quite a moment before speaking again. "Y/N...I think we should talk" He paused thinking over his words moment "And not as doctor and patient, but as childhood friends"

You hadn't noticed it until he was right in front of you, he had pulled up a chair to be beside you. Looking up at him your lip quivered.

No, he can't know, he can't make you break down like this, this isn't his to bear!

Your heart started to race as you realized he was rather close, that probably wasn't good for your porotcore syndrome but why did you care? Gently he places a hand on your shoulder giving it a reassuring squeeze.

It was true that you knew him as a child but that was before the memories started to truly connect. Before you knew what you had been experiencing. All the timelines and memories they were all you, you had done all these things and they had all done so much for you and yet you left them with the tragedy of your death or a scarce you could never even begin to repay.

Zayne was quiet, he could tell you were in your own head. Giving your shoulder another gentle squeeze before he reluctantly let go.

"I'm sorry....for everything" Was all you could manage to say to him, slowly you looked back at him. As expected he just gave you a confused look. Letting out a sigh you shook your head, as you simply accepted the man would have no clue what you meant. And maybe that would be okay in the moment. Even if deep down you wanted more, you wanted to take him into your arms and hug him tight. You wanted to cuddle and watch movies together.

"What are you apologizing for?" Was the next thing he asked, you then realized you were woefully unprepared for when one of them asked what it was you were sorry for. Scrambling for something to say you spoke without thinking.

"For being so distant as your friend! I-I'm sorry for everything In the sense that we've lost touch!" You managed to pull the worse excuse out of your ass. The one excuse that would make you face one of the people you've been avoiding head-on this entire time.

Zayne looked at you again his stoic expression held a subtle surprise "Well then, would you like me to drive you home in that case so we can talk?" He offered it.

You felt like you had no real choice in this, if you rejected you would look like a jerk, and considering growing distant is what you were apparently trying to avoid, even if it was just a lie to cover your true intentions. You couldn't exactly reject this.

"Sure that sounds great" You nodded a few times giving a weak smile.

Zayne nodded to you, a very subtle smile curving his lips as he then begun his examine on you.

And then suddenly in the first time in years now.

You felt that pain, that guilt subside for a moment.

Genovese more likely insult someone if he's annoyed

Genovese's current clothing is actual clothing, and not something he shapeshifted in. Simply to blend in of course.

Genovese can fly when he shapeshifts something that is able to make him fly, however he gets tired very fast doing so.

Genovese used to not have an cruel side. back in 2021 during this au was developing.., he used to be fully pacifist and kindhearted. This was changed because due to nowadays. I decided to make him more half good now. Though, i think it fits better being half because I think it be better for him to struggle trying to be good (after being brainwashed for so long) instead of already being good.

Despite trying to be different from Peppino, He still have an habit of copying off what Peppino's wearing sometimes.

When Genovese doesn't want to play, he watch something on tv instead

Genovese is not allowed to use an stove or oven. Nor is he allowed to use a gun despite trying to use one.

Whenever Genovese is hanging out with someone without Peppino, it gets little embarrassing because he don't even know to use certain things nor when to know what's normal or not in the situation. He's still learning.

The reason why he has his eyes togther instead of being seperated because...

In one fanfiction I read (and still haven't continued), Coryo 'convinced' her because he's backed by Dr Gaul. He lied to her that 'the Capitol is endangering your life' to keep her in the Capitol.

With his family and money secured, also because he feels safe enough (unlike in Twelve), Coryo won't be as desperate as he is in the book, which is why I don't think the worst scenario will happen...

In this AU, I think the story can continue when the Capitol invites Lucy Gray back to sing in the 11th Hunger Games. The drama will start depending on the mentor system (victors/academy senior students), if Coryo interns in the Hunger Games (maybe, who knows, he will justify it all for power), and if Lucy Gray wants to go back at all. Well, I do think Lucy Gray will come back, it's the Capitol's demand, she wants to be safe after all, but maybe she will sing in defiance of the Games. She can write a vaguely(?) rebellious song and...well, the Capitol's and Coryo's reaction will be so interesting and that's how the drama starts!

It all depends on the plot, baby!

TLDR; if everything goes smoothly, the less desperate and more secure Coryo will let her go. After all, power is his priority and it's in his grasp, though I do think he will keep in contact with her. After that, it depends on the gods (the writers).

I'd love to hear other opinions. This is fiction, after all, everything is possible if you justify enough.

And about the fics lmao! Coryo's virginity's loss! Okay, let's not pretend that he got some experience, yeah? XD This guy admits it himself in the book so unless it's a time skip he will remain inexperienced pfft (even though I don't really see him as a guy who sleeps around even with Livia after Lucy Gray. If he does it, it's to gain something.)

Much like the popular fanon, I do think Lucy Gray is more experienced than him. My previous fandom also has this popular trope in the fics, so I think this trope is very attractive to many people. Fumbling men are cute PFFFT.

With Anne, we think physical touch is one of their top love languages. Judging from the amount of book kisses the film omitted, in our opinion, that's why physical touch is prominent in fics.

About the sexual tension, let's face it, the book doesn't go there because it's a YA, but if it wasn't it would absolutely go there. It's just the CERTAIN vibe from them. Everlark is purer and Snowbaird is filthier LOL (And also because of the simple reason that it's hot.)

The awesome @sammys-magical-au is almost always my go-to for brainstorming, whether it's for characters, plots, descriptions, etc. And it seems they were kind enough to remember one of the much more obscure fanegos I've been quietly working on for a while now. Kind enough to even mention her in one of their latest fics!

And that basically kicked certain parts of my brain into gear, so...here we go! I've currently got yet another WIP cooking up, so I figured I should do some clarifying before it's ready for posting.

Much like Caliban and R.D., this uncanny lady is a partner to LeviathanPat! Or...partner-adjacent? As you'll soon see, things are rather complicated. (Go figure, I'm the writer behind aforementioned things, lol)

Although she isn't bound by standard entry rules like L.P. is, she still has her fair share of limitations. The biggest one being that she can only stay on certain planes of existence (such as Earth, for example) for short amounts of time, whereas L.P. can come and go as he pleases.

She may not be as morbid or aggressive as L.P., but it would be a grave mistake to see that as weakness. In fact, she's actually one of very few entities who have a little more power than he does. As for what exactly her power includes...well, you'll just have to wait and see~

She's one of very few entities who can call L.P. by his true name (only half of which is pronounceable by the human tongue, hence why Sol just calls him "Pat").

To say that Sylph and L.P. go way, waaaaay back would be an understatement. (Yes, that was technically a pun. No, I'm not sorry.) The feelings on either side are mutual, though certain views and methods are...not. Admittedly, Sylph sees humans in a way similar to how humans see insects. Little creatures that are sometimes interesting and mildy-entertaining...but not much else. Still, that doesn't mean she condones putting them through twisted experiments just to see what happens to them, L.P.

Now, I wouldn't be me if I didn't pile on the angst, so...While the two of them are on a very similar creature-caliber, Sylph and L.P.'s natures are just so antithetical to each other that they can only afford to be in each other's presence for a limited amount of time. Granted, they can gradually adjust to get closer and make physical contact, but even that is a slow-moving process. In fact, a huge part of their relationship revolved around the two of them searching for a way to overcome this. Unfortunately, surreal shenanigans ended up happening, which ultimately led to...The Incident. Ever since then, they haven't really had a chance to see each other...which just might change in the future. Hint-hint. (Please just be patient with me. Writing is hard, okay?)

Where L.P.'s form relates to darkness, Sylph's form relates to light. That is all...No, actually, I lied. That is NOT all. I'm talking bioluminescence plus-plus. I'm talking so bright it's legitimately kinda painful for mortal eyes to try looking at.

Then again, that light is mainly produced by her internal organs. Some of it sort of functions as her hair, and some of it does leak out into the world through her eyes. And by "eyes" I mean, "a scattering of holes in her skin that can stretch to be wider/longer or even move along as she pleases." (much like L.P., she often has way too many of them).

In fact...for the readers who have watched Jordan Peele's NOPE (and for everyone who hasn't...WHY?! IT'S SUCH AN AMAZING MOVIE! GET OUTTA HERE AND GO WATCH IT NOW!): remember the forms Jean Jacket took in the ending scenes? Well, I'm not saying that Sylph looks exactly like that, because I don't want to plagiarize...but that doesn't mean I can't take inspiration from it.

So, just imagine Sylph's outer skin behaving in sort of a similar way to Jean Jacket's. It can resemble all manner of things from jellyfish to orchid flowers to sheets of billowing cloth. Layers of it basically orbit around all the light she produces, all working together to form a vaguely human-esque shape. Not only that, but her skin also has a sort of opalescent effect to it. It can reflect hints of a variety of colors beyond the bright, pale glow of her internal system.

I usually apologize for rambling...but not today, because it took so much time and patience and experimenting to come up with a description that would be pretty and unsettling at the same time. Thanks again for all your help, Sammy 💞)

Because of that orbiting effect I mentioned, Sylph is also capable of shapeshifting much like L.P. is. The main difference is the fact that Sylph's form technically has visible structure, whereas L.P. is basically a moving, talking void no matter what shape he takes.

I’m not sure if this question has already been asked yet, but what kind of characters would the ROs be in a horror movie? Like, who’s the cynical character that doesn’t believe the monster is real, the cocky guy who is all like “yeah I can beat this idiot no problem”, the “survivor” character that shows up later in the movie to help the main cast, etc.

Sorry if this question doesn’t really make any sense, feel free to ignore this is you want! 😅

Hi there, I sort of answered this question in various different ways--I'd recommend checking out the Halloween horror masterpost, which has a few different horror AUs!--but I didn't really specify what "tropes" the characters might fall into, so here goes!

Blade: I'd think he's the leader character who tries to give everyone the best chances of survival by directing them to defend themselves and makes you feel safe with his presence (you know, like the older brother who was in the military or the super strong athlete boyfriend or the hyper-competent neighbor with a mysterious set of skills or what have you), but then he has to leave the group because he stands the best chance of getting help (thus removing the comfort of his presence and rocketing up the anxiety of the film); he probably gets "killed" by the killer in a jumpscare and is knocked out and left for dead for most of the movie, then shows up all bloodied to stab the killer in the back at the last minute when the audience thought he was dead! So he survives, but he's pretty heavily injured and the rest of the group has to help him make it out

Trouble: he's full of confident bravado, like "you know what? *grabs kitchen knife* fuck this guy, I can take him! he can't get all of us!!" *immediately gets killed* or *power goes out* *in an effort to reassure the group* "don't worry guys, I'll go out there by myself to check the circuit box, nothing could go wrong!" Or he's the guy who "sacrifices" himself so the rest of the group can get away, potentially with the surprise ending of coming back with the police to arrest the killer and finding him alive after all! So he has a very low chance of survival, but he might live depending on how things shake out!

Tallys: she has final girl energy for sure, she's the one hearing Trouble offering to go outside in the storm alone and is savvy enough to be like "mm-mm. nope. we're not doing that. not today!" She's the one who doesn't seem like she's doing much throughout the movie as all the people are getting picked off, but then you see her doing really clever things like rigging booby traps or hiding under a bed so she can stab the killer in a foot or something crazy like that. Her self-preservation instincts and cunning definitely means she's going to make it through to the end: whether she's the lone survivor or if her skills guided the group to safety after Blade and Trouble got taken out just depends on what type of movie we're watching, lol!

Shery: sadly, she has helpless victim energy where she's so terrified and unskilled that someone (like Trouble) might first die defending her, making the audience frustrated, and then she might end up dying as well! Or she might end up just hiding away somewhere, not able to contribute but not dying, either! ...But yeah, she has sweet, innocent, sacrificial lamb energy, so she might die just to show the audience how wicked the villain truly is 😭

Riel: he's the skeptic of the group, he's the one who refuses to believe that anything supernatural is going on, he's the logician who flatly says, "this can't be happening. there has to be some other explanation." I feel like those types of people generally die in horror movies, so he's probably dead, but if we're not going by horror movie rules, he's probably smart enough to outwit the killer/supernatural threat if he can break through his own disbelief and actually start scheming against it! If it's like a monster or something like that, he stands a good chance, but if it's a demon or a ghost, he's probably dead 😵

Chase: he's the comic relief, he's the one keeping the morale group high, he's the clown who seems largely unfazed by what's happening but is skilled and capable enough to help defend the group. I feel like those types stand a solid 50/50 chance in most horror movies, where if they're minor characters, they'll definitely die, but if they're major members of the cast, they end up being one of the heroes of the story because the audience is fond of and rooting for them. Given Chase's uncanny ability to survive most things life throws at him, however improbable, I think he's one of the last ones standing, kind of like in Cabin in the Woods!

Red: he's the source of information, the smart one who's providing everyone with the backstory/information/mythology of the killer/threat. The guy who's been researching local anthropology in the area and just happens to have extensive knowledge of "that one serial killer in the 80s who [insert backstory] here." He might lack the common sense or hard survival instincts of a Tallys or a Blade, but he stands a good chance of surviving so long as no one sends him off by himself! If he's caught out alone, he's 100% a goner 😔

Ayla: she has like "batshit final girl" energy, the member of the group who seems sullen and withdrawn at a party and strangers are like, "what's her deal?" and there's some backstory or implied allusion to her dark past where she survived being kidnapped by Jigsaw or her parents were killed by a serial killer or something like that, and you think it's all speculation until someone starts killing people off and she's already in the corner sticking nails in a bat or busting out the chainsaw saying grimly, "Not like this. Not again." She stands a very good chance of survival so long as her trauma doesn't make her act reckless and the killer doesn't outsmart her by digging a booby trap or something!

Briony: I feel like she either has badass final girl energy or the energy of someone who vastly underestimates her opponent, like I could see her taking charge after some of the others get taken out and is like, "Don't worry guys, I've taken tae kwon do for ten years!" and she just is like not really processing the level of depravity that is going on and just gets annihilated, or she's the one keeping the group together and like plows the killer down with a car in the chaos or something like that. If Shery causes anyone to die to protect her, though, it's definitely going to be her BFF Briony 😭

Lavinet: this is not who Lavinet is in real life, but in a horror movie AU I could definitely see her being cast as the pretty, popular, spoiled rich girl who gets gruesomely murdered first lol... realistically in her "real life" persona I definitely think she'd be a final girl, almost to the point of prioritizing her own survival over someone else's, but in horror movie trope standards I think she'd be the one making out with some random jock in the car outside before the killer pops up in the backseat and then you cut to the characters walking outside and finding the car on, idling, with the windows covered in blood 😭

Halek: he is absent/sleeps through the majority of the spooky stuff (or, like, he's the guy you see at the beginning of the movie who can't go on the trip to the haunted cabin because he has to work or some bullshit and you sort of forget he's a part of the cast but then he shows up to save the day at the end because he felt like something was off when no one was answering his text messages)! He's sort of baffled when everyone piles into his car screaming bloody murder and can't relate to their ✨ trauma ✨ but at least he saved them!

1) A Sleepy Shirabu - 127

I'm glad that this one is at the top, since it's one of my favourites. It also promotes my username in a way, since I'm a sleepy person. I relate to this fic in my SOUL. Whenever I reread it, it takes me back to surviving on one hour of sleep. It felt like a daze but also sparked my creativity levels so yay.

2) Coffee and Chaos - 82

My second fic ever ayyyy. I actually wrote this down before typing it up. It didn't turn out as planned, but was still entertaining and I absolutely adore coffee shop AUs so I'm glad this one is getting noticed.

3) Pucker Up - 76

My first attempt at a 3+1 fic. Also one of my first attempts at writing kiss scenes. I found it quite cute so I'm glad other readers do too.

4) Trustfall - 67

This is a silly little fic that popped up in my mind and I loved it instantly. It's pretty short but was very fun to write and reread. I'm tempted to start a series where the Shiratorizawa Volleyball Team just do random challenges to improve their teamwork skills.

5) Brownies with you - 67

I haven't baked brownies in a painfully long time, but I thought of this when my sister mentioned how one of her classmates was always baking brownies. My first thought was "wow, it'd be amazing to room with her" and my second was "wait, this could happen in the Shiratorizawa kitchen" and thus this fic was born.

I'd say "Still missing you" but I haven't really written many angsty fics. Angst isn't my forte and I'm such a sucker for fluff.

Nope but I'd love to try writing a Haikyu ship in a Harry Potter au. I've seen a couple and am so in love with how people have written them. I'd highly recommend "Of polaroids and peanut butter cookies" (semishira being so so cute in Hogwarts)

Dialogue without a doubt. I struggled with dialogue when I started out, but I can see some improvement. It's pretty difficult for me to keep everyone in character, but writing conversations is honestly really fun.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

That'd be pretty fun. I can imagine Oikawa or Hinata slipping into Spanish on occasion, or Lev and Yaku speaking Russian. I don't know Russian but I know bits of Spanish so I could try experimenting.

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

This question feels crafted specifically for Ushiten. I love their unconventional pairing so much!! In fact, I'm planning a Christmas themed fic for these two and I'm looking forward to the results (I'll try to keep them as cannon as possible lol)

Either "A Sleepy Shirabu", "Under the shade, by the lake" or "Hypocritical Oath". I honestly love these so much. I think I was in the zone while writing them, and all of these are pretty wholesome (or at least have a wholesome ending).

Q1, 2 + 3: I'm putting these in the same group because the answer to the first two questions is no, the reason being Question 3. Tanqr is not a villain, nor is he part of the villainous group - he's wholly a good guy, just a little mysterious. He's related to it in the same way Russo is related to the villainous group - in a sort of punny way.

Q4: Yep! You can find the map of it here.

Q5: Well, Kreek used to be the Top Champion of Robloxia before Tanqr beat him out. He is an incredibly skilled Pokemon battler, having practiced it for most of his life (as opposed to Tanqr's seemingly natural talent). He just happened to get overtaken - but he's still the leader of the Elite 4, and a tough challenge for any prospective battler.

Q6: Yes! It is called Metalysis, and you can find Professor Boringsworth's notes on it here. (It's basically Terastallisation but with a different aesthetic.)

Q7: Nope. He's simply a member of the Elite 4 - if he had more time to train and more confidence in himself, he probably could've become Champion, but he didn't. Still, he and Bella are the youngest members of the Robloxian Pokemon League to this day. The closest character to Ash would be you, the Battler. (To note: The RBB Pokemon AU is closer to the structure of the games, not the anime.)

Q8: For the sake of simplicity, yes. In practice, most likely not, but because I'm the author and I don't want to figure out timeline things, yes. You get the gist.

Q9: As Russo said, and as I outlined here, he wields / is the concept of Truth itself. The items, to him, simply enhance his already existing powerset. That's basically god-adjacent, right? He started off mortal, hence 'adjacent'.

I tend to refer to them as 'demi-gods' in my notes. Hence [REDACTED]'s reaction to him. (Disclaimer: the redaction is not a spoiler for things yet to come - the chapter I am referring to is already posted.)

BLSMP itself isn't an AU in the traditional sense - it's canon divergence. So basically, anything I say about my take on the 'canon' versions of the cast applies to BLSMP as well (as long as it's pre-Season 3).

Q10: All Pokemon AU human characters are, well, human.

On one hand, I do get anon's point. The first few times I saw Xunyang fanart I just thought it was a Xuexiao AU and didn't look too much closer because I don't go there and I abide by the "don't like, don't click" philosophy of life. On the other hand, this is MDZS. MDZS, in my humble opinion, is chalk full of character designs that are way too similar. Especially when you're using CQL as the basis. I freely admit to squinting at Wangxian fanart sometimes, especially in modern AU's, and asking myself "is this Wangxian or Xuexiao?"

So I just think that the similar character designs are just in-keeping with the overall theme of how similar all the MDZS character designs are. I can't really speak for the personalities though because I never read the fic, Xuexiao is a big nope for me but OC x Canon is a bigger nope for me. I do like OC x OC though, so if you ever wind up shipping Wen Xun with another OC I'll be there to eat that up. I also absolutely support you making your content for it, it's not for me but a lot of your other content is.

So yeah, while I understand where anon's confusion is coming from, I don't really think it's entirely fair considering the general lack of distinction between MDZS character designs. If you had designed WX in a way that didn't look similar to other characters from the series, he probably would have stood out way too much standing next to the canon characters. This isn't YGO where the more outlandish the character design, the more they fit in with the rest of the cast. Or even WOH where there's clearly a lot of effort put in by the character designers to make each character have distinct hair styles and outfits. MDZS and CQL are full of characters with similar hair who wear similar uniforms and unless the artist is really skilled at drawing distinct facial features, the characters will inevitably look similar.

I'm sorry for the super long ask. I just wanted to defend your choices in designing him the way you did. I think you did a very good job following the themes of how the character designs in MDZS are very limited and you did give him distinct features that allowed him to be recognized. Unless you chose to draw a design that didn't fit well with the theme of the other characters, WX was bound to look similar to at least one other MDZS character, if not multiple characters. And the fact that you used a different CQL character as the basis for the design and he wound up looking so similar to XXC is just proof of how insanely similar all these character designs are.

On that note, I do think it would be funny to talk about WC and XXC having similar character designs. I never thought that they did and it's been a very long time since I looked at CQL but I think it'd be super funny to explore an AU where they do look similar. XXC being a long lost Wen heir? Or maybe they just coincidentally look similar and it's a "prince and the pauper" situation?

if i ever make a Xun x OC AU i will let you know, i do roleplay w him on here sometimes so it isn't outside the realm of possibility that it could happen

that said it is SO unfair to judge me on the "they look similar" thing because of what you just said! everyone in cql has similar hair, what do you want from me. he wasn't going to get short hair. i don't like short hair. LOL and also, cql xxc doesn't even really have that hair (though he does humorously have the strands at the front which i only noticed later)

so if the only person (kind of) getting anon's point is someone who admittedly doesn't like or really care abt the OC or story... well. everyone who has read it has said it's unfounded

it is hilarious to think maybe xxc is a wen heir and id love a prince and pauper thing... 🎶 I'm just like you, you're just like me 🎶 but truly Chao does not look like him either i promise. GKJFKDJFLD

Hello ! Some questions about the Vampire AU you have :

1) Will we have some intel about Tommy's family ? How he became a vampire himself and all that jazz ?

2) Is Tubbo a vampire ?

3) How does Tommy transform Dream ? Is it planned, on the heat of the moment, does he trap him after or let him run away or Dream escapes bc he is scared and now Tommy has to catch him before anyone get hurt ? Is it how Dream learn Tommy is a vampire or is Tommy acting more subtly and like, changed him without Dream realizing ?

4) Is Dream's friends or family aware of the supernatural at all or absolutely not ? (Kinda headcanon already Techno knowing vampire exist and just being confused about new Dream lol)

Hi :D!! Ty for the questions!! I didn't respond sooner because I was actually deep thinking about them haha. Hopefully my answers make sense lol, the AU still is developed but I hope you enjoy it!!

1.- Yes I will explain about Tommy's past and "family" and his journey of how he turned into a vampire.

2.- All I can say is that nope, he's human.

3.- Yes Tommy did planned the transformation, but due to some events that happens, he needs to change a bit his plan. Due to the vampire instincts all sires have and some spoiler territory, he doesn't plan to let him go ever. I intend to make Dream try to escape, however, I like the idea you gave about Dream being successful in one of his tries, and Tommy needs to catch him quickly or he will hurt someone, so I'll include it hehe (spoiler: he will succeed in catching him back). The turning process is a bit more complicated than normal fics I think, if you want an idea, I'm using the method that the book of "Interview with a Vampire" has.

4.- Yes they do, in fact, Sapnap and George are vampire hunters!! In this world, there's not many vampires left, but the few remaining vampire hunters that still exists want to exterminate them. The Dteam are roommates and live together in an apartment. Techno is a good old friend of Dream but he isn't a hunter (I actually haven't thought much of Techno's role in this but now that you mentioned him, I'll try to work on it hehe).

Ahh, thank you! :)

And, well, I don't really think there's like perfect or universal advice on how to write because everyone likes different things and has a different process that works for them, but I'll do my best to list some things that help/have helped me!

Know your source material. Whether you're writing a canon compliant fic or something wildly AU, rewatching the show can help you get the character voices down and might make you feel less nervous about figuring out how you want your dialogue to sound or how the characters would behave in the situation you're putting them in.

Make yourself some tea. Idk what it is about a warm, caffeinated drink, but when I'm sitting at my desk with one it really helps me stay focused.

Start small if you're worried about finishing something big. There's no rule that says in order to be a fic writer you have to write 100k word masterpieces. In fact, my attention span is so fucked I usually don't write anything longer than 5k word one shots and I'm perfectly content with that. If all you want to do is try to get your feet wet with a 500 word ficlet to see how it goes, do it! Short fics are fun to read and much less pressure to finish.

Make an outline. No need to go crazy with it, but I usually sketch out the rough plan I've got with a few bullet points just to organize my thoughts and make sure I don't forget something.

Don't be afraid to write scenes out of order. There's also no rule that you have to begin at the beginning. I usually end up jumping around and making the parts I've written meet in the middle. If you vaguely know how you want your fic to start, but have a really concrete idea of how you want a specific part to go, just start there and work your way backward/forward.

If you get stuck, write the gist of what happens next in brackets and then move on to the next part. This goes with #5. I cannot even tell you how often I end up doing this and it helps maintain my writing flow so much bc instead of sitting there like "fuck, how do I wanna say this?" I can just be like "well, that's future Lynne's problem" and keep going with what I do have the words to write lol. You can also like just write a skeleton of dialogue and then go back and fill in the descriptions/their internal thoughts and reactions later if you don't know how you want to go about it yet, I do that a lot too.

Write what you want to read. Everyone likes different things and it's not really helpful to get caught up in trying to find an idea you think other people will like. Like I bet there are people who opened my fics, went "nope," and then backed out, but the thing is, I didn't write those fics for them, I wrote them for myself and whoever else ends up enjoying them. It also sucks trying to write something that doesn't inspire you, so if an idea isn't working for you, just... move on to something that does. You can always come back to it later (she says, avoiding eye contact with the WIPs in her folder).

Write. Even if you don't end up posting it, just giving it a go and seeing what happens is the only real way to start. You can always worry about editing later (either by yourself or with the help of a beta reader) or even scrap the whole thing and start over if you're not happy with it. I literally have docs that are basically just graveyards of whole paragraphs I deleted from WIPs but wanted to save just in case. The main thing to remember is that you're never gonna finish your story if you don't actually sit down and write it, so try to take the pressure off of yourself to make it perfect and just see what you come up with.

Looking back at some of them, I am embarrassed by my cheesiness 😌 It will happen again, sorry if that's not your thing.

5. Do you respond to comments? I try to! Whether it's a simple comment or a detailed one, I always love reading people's thoughts! This is reminding me that I haven't done so in a long time, I'm sorry to any readers who've left comments that I haven't responded to! I've just been so busy with life that it often slips my mind >< I'll try to get to them soon!

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? That's tough... I tend to write fluff so any angsty ending might just be those with character deaths... even then some of them still get a happy ending 🤔 But if I had to pick, then it's either Heaven on Earth or Fly Away with Me?

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Again a toughie because I mostly write fluff lol. The first fic that comes to mind is farewells are not forever! Mostly because I was able to receive a lot of thoughts and feedback for this story in particular, so it sticks out to me the most 😊

8. Do you get hate on fics? I've only gotten two negative comments on my fics, and truthfully, I found their thoughts fair. Were they constructive criticism? No, but what they voiced was exactly how I felt about my writing, so I don't fault them for voicing their opinions. If anything, those comments helped me take a step back from writing to figure out how I wanted to continue with my writing/posting quality, so I have to thank them for that!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I've written some, but as I've told Hime before, you'll need to subscribe to my (nonexistent) OnlyFans to find out 😉

10. Do you write crossovers? I don't, but I see merit in doing so! Personally, I like to write for fandoms separately. There may be AUs, but never a crossover between characters from both series/fandoms.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? I don't think so? If I found out I did I don't know what I'd do apart from making an announcement here or on my ao3 profile saying I currently only post works on ao3...

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope. Someone offered to translate my fics for me in the past to Spanish, but around that time there was a whole drama about how one writer/translator just used Google Translate. It got heated and I got scared lol, so I asked the writer who offered to translate my fics not to translate them and even added the whole "Please do not translate my works" thing in my profile.

As someone who does translation work myself, I hope that any translations are done with love and care and not lazily thrown into a translator. That isn't to say the person who offered is any of that, on the contrary I think they were genuine with their offer, but at the time I didn't want to get wrapped up in any drama so I stepped away from anything that could drag me into it.

I think I'm more open to the thought of having my fics translated now, but I might be picky or cautious of who offers/does them.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No, but I find the idea fascinating! I have a lot of self-doubt about the quality of my writing, and now that life's gotten busy there's the whole speed and availability aspect to work around too, so I don't think I'll be able to write anything for now lol

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? I can't choose! My favorite ships depend on my mood lol One moment I may love HanaNene, for example, and the next it's AmaNene, or even TsuNene, or even HanaNeneTsuka! It's hard for me to pick one.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Never ask a woman her weight, a man his salary, or a writer their WIPs u_u I've not found the time or energy to write, and currently my interest and motivation for this fic in particular is at an all-time low, but I want to finish Down the Plank and Into Your Arms. I try to ensure all my fics as completed for this account, so that's one promise I want to keep.

16. What are your writing strengths? Dialogue... maybe? More specifically, banter? That's one aspect of my writing that's often praised, so I think maybe that.

17. What are your writing weaknesses? I'd say, without a doubt, it's descriptive writing lol Sorry I've got no imagination or good words to set the scene, it just kinda fills itself in my head.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I've thought of doing that before, but I couldn't think of a scenario that required anyone to speak in another language lol

19. First fandom you wrote for? Fairy Tail! Quality and pet peeves of mine for the series aside, it's got a soft spot on me for being the fandom that pushed me into writing fanfic.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? Why must you make things tough 😭 As I'm sure you've noticed by now, I'm awful at deciding a single favorite of anything. BUT, if I really had to pick only one..! It's glass shattered, clay battered.

I think this was written the month before the Severance chapter lol It's an introspective fic in Hanako's POV and it's got some metaphors/themes that I'm proud of. Even after knowing what happens post-Severance, I don't feel like the Hanako I wrote here is all that different from the Hanako we know in the manga.

Others I'm proud of are I Must Think of a New Life and I Mustn't Give In, i leave you with all that i love, but i will never let you go, Love is a Race and I'm Stuck at the Goddamn Start Line, Roots Run Deep, Leaves Grow Bare, Happily Never After, and love like a rose!

I swear that last sentence is only six other fics even if it looks like a paragraph🤧i do like me some long titles...

Almost always! I try to respond to as many as I can because I want anyone who comments to know how much I appreciate them :)

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

That might be a tie between Rewrite the Stars and Dig Two Graves, my take on Forsaken. That one ends on a real low note because it's designed to feed right into the next story

I'm swiftly realizing how few of my fics have endings that can truly be described as happy. I think I'd have to pic your feet find purchase in shifting sands

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not really, thankfully. I did get a rather mean-spirited comment on my oldest story (not any of my current fandoms) but it didn't bother me much because I'd written the story while I was in high school and didn't get the comment until years later

Nope, you won't find sex in any of my stories lmao. I'm both ace and aro and I find writing even just plain romance difficult

I May have written stuff in the past for a fandom that shall not be named. Currently, though. the only real crossover is an MCYT/Destiny crossover that @baronetcoins and I worked on

I'm not big into shipping but if I had to pick I'd probably go with Grian and Scar from the Life Series (I'm a sucker for Desert Duo)

There's a DSMP Rise of the Guardians AU sitting in my google drive that I'd love to finish but idk if it's going to happen

Oh it's gotta be dialogue. To the point where I sometimes feel like I write too much of it lol. I can have characters just talking to each other for multiple pages

Description, I'd say. Mostly because I don't think I take enough time to sit in the scenery of the piece and want to get straight to the action

It all comes down to doing your research. But also don't take it the wrong way if people fluent in the language correct you on things

Requiem for the Departed, hands down. It gave me the opportunity to write a complex plot featuring multiple characters/POVs while also exploring aspects of the Destiny universe that don't necessarily show up much in the game

I have a soft spot for your family headcanons. I would have liked to see the game start with Rhea raising Billy instead, because now I think Jeralt is a bad father who doesn’t really care for his child, but Rhea and the church do.

I think Jerry tries and thinks that's good enough, but ultimately, that's not the case.

Nopes!Billy is a mess, and their fate gives much more spotlight on what really happened at GM - Billy found an environment where they managed to thrive, where people didn't look at them (too?) weirdly or kept on calling them by a nickname they don't like, or worse, they had to eat alone :(

Jerry might have noticed a bit too late that this was the environment Billy should have grown in - but then he dies - and yet those games will never make characters be able to feel regret or face the consequence for their actions unless they're blue or green coded units.

That's why there's such a fandom dissonance with "good dad Jerry" and "Rhea evil groomer aka BaD" towards Billy, because even as Rhea who thought Billy was an amnesiac Sothis or not "Billy", well even that Rhea managed to make them feel welcome in one place, something Jerry never managed to do.

FFS, in WC, Jerry tells Billy not to get too close to Rhea bcs BaD, but guess who Billy can A support in WC - implicitely ditching Jerry's warnings?

(and given how SS, the Billy Route, heavily pushes for Billy caring about her, they never really gave a fuck about Jerry's warnings!)

I'd say the ultimate happy ending for those AUs is Billy, after being separated from Jerry and managing to build himself as "Billy" and not the "not normal child", decides they want to meet Jerry again and they try to rekindle, or rather, to build some sort of positive relationship - but at the end of the day, they return "home" aka to Garreg Mach, because Garreg Mach is the place where they met people who felt like they belong somewhere.

(and then Billy cracks one of Alois's jokes while they are fishing, wanting to lighten the mood, but Jerry is so pissed that he blames Rhea again).

Maybe if Rhea raised Billy since Day 1, she would have learnt in Day 1568 that Billy isn't Sothis even without her memories, and just rolled with them (if we're talking about F!Billy, Rhea would have warned them about wanting to hold hands with people who have terrible haircuts, if we're talking about M!Billy, Rhea would have gotten rid of his mullet the second it started to grow) just like she did with Citrus and maybe the other homonculi.
