im a pretty new silent hill fan.. what is silent hill ascension?

hi! silent hill ascension is very very VERY new so you're not far behind at all, but it's a interactive livestream where you can vote on what happens to the characters in the game/how the story pans out. it centers upon two families getting fucked up by silent hill-esque supernatural occurrences.

its first episode was released on halloween and it's kind of... bad. like it's an absolute mess. it's laiden with microtransactions and the live chat was an absolute nightmare. they took away the chat option for yesterday's stream because they didn't enable emoji-only mode in time when it went live 😭 and also the way the story is panning out/being told is just really not good for a silent hill story. you're really not missing out
