Friendly note to everyone shoping for shoes right now.
1. Always try them on both feet. Your left foot and right foot can be oh so slightly different.
2. If you have ever have had an ankle injury/sprain, those new Skechers Slip-Ins with the extra padding on the back to hold the ankle in place can potentially be extremely painful.
I've spent two days looking at shoes, trying them on, almost walked out with two pairs of shoes that felt amazing on my right foot, thinking the Skechers Slip-In stuff was genius, and then I randomly thought to try a pair on both feet for the first time and oh boy! My left ankle went sharp, bad pain and my whole left foot seized up and I thought I was going to cry in the middle of Famous Footwear. I tried a looser pair that was slipping a bit on my right foot before but wasn't too bad, and oh boy did it still friggen hurt real bad on my left foot.
