even though mercuria makes a small smile at it, it takes until kanjira's face goes a deep red and her stuttering on matilda's new abs to figure it out lol

After they managed to get their bodies back, J wore a smug smile all this time while Matilda didn't truly understand why, she gave him a weird side-eye and said goodbye, ignoring completely how strong her arms felt and, since she always covers herself a lot, her abs.

Matilda walks up to Mercuria and Kanjira in her own body, proudly showing off the fact that she's back into her own body. Mercuria is the first to notice the change, Matilda's arms were stronger and more defined in comparison to her skinny arms (shockingly for how strong she is), she covered her smile with her mouth and looked away.

Kanjira found out the fun way. She launched herself at Matilda's arms and wrapped her own around the girl's neck, prompting Matilda to hold her waist to hold her weight. Kanjira physically stopped moving once she felt a stronger grip around her waist. She pulled away from the hug, making Matilda confused (and slightly sad but that's a secret), and looked at her arms

"Oh..."

Her face got so red so quickly. Those strong and muscular arms were wrapped around... Her waist. Mercuria has fun watching the realization sink into Kanjira, she kind of wanted the same but it's funnier to see the poor girl struggle to form sentences while her eyes can't even stare at Matilda's.

"Uh, Mon Amour, what are you looking at?" And the Matilda looked at her own arms and realized. "..EH?!"

They all owe J a thank you.

God Spathodea would hate one of my ocs 😭

a ghost (or, in her case, ghoul) hunter named Llo'Llo. At first glance, she's 4'0, so you'd imagine, alongside her skittish nature, she's 14.

And then you see the crows feet.

And then you learn she's 51, and is a single mother to her daughter, Llo'An

Spathodea's nightmare be like

Imagine is Spathodea dragging Llo'Llo around doing things she, as a 14 y/o, would do because she's so excited to have another person her age around (Matilda is too stuck up and Ezra is Ezra).

Then there's a moment where she comes up to Llo'Llo with homework and says something along the lines of "You must be in highschool too, so, do you know anything about roots? Maths is just... Not my thing." And then receive an answer like "Oh my, I haven't seen this in around 40 years!"

Jazz music stops

Spathodea slowly turns to Llo'Llo with a blank stare and asks "...40 years? How old are you?"

"I'm 51!"

And Spathodea breaks, face blank stuck in a shocked face, then she turns to her homework and asks in a depressed voice "So you don't know..."

Cut to Spathodea staring into the vast sea of the wilderness with a pensive and also haunting face while Ulu sits by her side, Desert Flannel leans on a tree and Ezra sits by Spathodea's other side

"It's okay dear Flammy, for us, the immortal, our bodies have a hard time reflecting our age. As you can see, I don't look a hundred years old either. Confusion is understandable."

"Well, I'd be pretty destroyed too if the playing session I've been having was actually with a granny! It'd be like if my own Grandma looking like a teen started playing hopscotch with me!" (Spathodea's face falls even more)

"You young miss! You are not helping Flammy!"

"Well, I've heard from Miss Llo'Llo that she has a daughter. Maybe she could be our age."

"A DAUGHTER?!"
