ANY WAY eclair. i love them.

So Eclair is baked into a rich hollyberrian house, with their mom Champagne, their little sibling Rougefort, and older sibling Earl Grey. Their house is so rich bc of their connections to the GC and they sell a fuck ton of gold and other trading goods. when their mom feels ready to have an heir to the house she bakes Earl Grey. but Earl Grey isn't exactly how she wants them to be (they are like. 5 leave them alone...) so she bakes Eclair, but adds gold into the dough in hopes that Eclair becomes the perfect heir. but oh no! eclairs autistic plus all the gold did was make Eclair able to shapeshift and their mom gets so fucking mad at them for existing that she goes and bakes Roquefort three years after Eclair was baked and shoves as much gold into Roquefort as she can. but oh no! They are a spunky little kid who could've seen this coming?

as you can probably guess eclair was pretty heavily abused by his mom, she never hit him but Champagne made sure Eclair knew that they weren't what she wanted. one day eclair (12 years old) goes outside crying after their mom is an asshole to them and earl grey(17 years old) goes out to comfort Eclair. and then the Hollyberry kingdom is attacked in the Pitaya attacks (very very long story but essentially taya is upsetii Spaghetti bc hb isn't there and has a tantrum) both of them start running for their lives but then they realize that Roquefort and Champagne are both still in the house. they run to their house but it is too late and their house is gone. and they assume both their mom and little sibling are dead. (champagne is dead however roquefort is not!)

Earl Grey is suddenly in charge of their house (or what is left of it) and physically can't take care of Eclair like this. so they get a trip to the gc kingdom. they are greeted by Basque! (burnt cheese is a shitty name Basque is so much cooler) Eclair passes the heart weighing and Earl Grey says goodbye to Eclair. they get an audience with Golden Cheese and she's like 'Well why don't you join me in the metaverse digital realm!' Eclair does not find the digital realm fun or comforting at all and instead opts to hang around the abandoned pyramid. very occasionally they get called to the digital realm and talk to GC but they are mostly alone, which is a very different experience compared to the busy house they had in the Hollyberry kingdom. in their boredom, they find an ancient treasure room filled with relics. they document them and ask Basque about them, and they find it fun. however many of them are cursed. Eclair is bored and never really had any sense of self-preservation anyway so starts documenting the cursed ones as well. it doesn't take long for them to get cursed, and they learn how to curse break. They do this repeatedly. cursing themself over and over and over. because no one is there to stop them.

when they get to 20 they decide to go to the Parafeadia and start a museum all on their own. Over time they meet latte and get hired as a history teacher. they feel much better now they are away from their whole. shit childhood.
