MEGGYâS DESTINY REVIEW
With an epic journey and the tragic loss of a possible friend if such events didnât unfold under her belt, our favorite squid humanoid (minus the squid part) fulfills a promise to her long-gone rival in this coming-of-age YouTube video which is not only a feature short-film but a step forward for this family of mentally-challenged paisanos. Howdy everyone, SuperWarrior here and welcome to this review of SMG4âs first ever movie (or special extended episode depending how you look at it), âMeggyâs Destinyâ. Letâs just say we are in for a TREAT today, and before we begin I must advise you: This review is SPOILER-HEAVY, so if you havenât seen this movie yet GO WATCH IT then come back here once youâre DONE. Iâm already throwing this out there, I HIGHLY recommend watching this video if youâre an SMG4 fan or very interested in these kinds of stories. Are you done? Well then grab your Ink Bois and buckle-up, youâre in for a RIDE.
ăæšćčŽăŻć€§ć€ă§ăăă âLast Year Was Roughâ
To start off the synopsis, our adventure begins with Meggy resting in her bed telling us her backstory on how she was introduced into the SMG4 universe, met Mario for the first time, and reminiscing the dozens of journeys they and her new friends went on together. But her past year came with a price. All thanks to the SMG4 gangâs anime-related hijinks, a spiraling lead of events caused the casualty of Meggyâs bitter rival, Desti. When the two cephalopods were held captive at Francisâs Ink Prison, she discovered her enemy never truly despised her at all and was only looking forward to her humiliation when it came to competition. During the octoâs funeral, Meggy in her new form vows to finally win a Splatfest tournament in her honor. Just imagine if Desti was a much bigger character, Final Hours wouldâve had an even bigger impact on the series than it already left. Months have passed since the groupâs biggest misadventure yet and the final tournament is right around the corner.
ăăă«ăŒăăŒășăă€ă§çžæăćźăïŒăâKeep Opponents at Maroonerâs Bay!â
Itâs the next day and the Splatsquad is finishing up training for tomorrow. Mario, Luigi, Meggy, and Tari are about to hone their Turf War skills one last time with the rest of the SMG4 group cheering them on in the bleachers. The team successfully completes their exercise as their friends congratulate and wish them luck for the big day. Professor E. Gadd suggests if they want to be victorious, theyâll have to use his latest inventions or as he calls them Ink Bois to even the score since none of them can hide in and slide across ink. Meggy gets a surfboard, Luigi uses a roller chair, Tari obtains a keyboard, and Mario owns a⊠lawnmower. Meggy refuses to use her gadget because of her pride and confidence, claiming that the advantage is personally insulting. The squad begins another round with their new devices by battling each other, she manages to survive until Tari knocks her out. Everyone cheers (besides Meggy) for the humanoid cyborg and they all go to the former Inklingâs apartment for a wrap-up party. During the celebration, Axol checks up on her but Meggy hides her concerns about losing saying sheâs just fine. Then Mario offers her a game of Pin The Tail On Boopkins of all people (ok, not sure what he did to make this a thing) and she happily accepts.
ăăŹăŒăčă»ăă„ă»ă¶ă»ăăŁăăă·ă„ïŒă âRace To The FINish!â
Now itâs the first day of the Splatfest and the team arrives at Deca Tower preparing for the opening round. Meggy hallucinates seeing Desti nearby, making Tari worried but Meggy once again says sheâs fine. The Squid Sisters (presumably Off The Hook is on vacation) announce the beginning of the tournament and explain the rules of the round: A race in the SPLATstacle Course as a test of agility and skill and any fighting during this round will result in disqualification, whoever makes it within 20 minutes advances to the second round. Splatoon purists, itâs time for your lesson in universal lore facts. For those of you who were wondering, the tournament shown in this movie is NOT based on any event from the game series. This Splatfest is primarily original for the sake of the story as Callie and Marie said it themselves: itâs apparently the last ever tournament due to them being less cost-effective (likely since interest in Splatoon died down after Chaos vs. Order) and theyâve decided to do something different to make it special (unless they ever get proper funding again). I do not make the rules, nor do the writers. This series is not meant to follow any canon video game lore since this interpretation of the Splatoon universe is different from the official just like the Mario one. And to those who think humans cannot be in Inkopolis since they donât exist anymore, a little game called Super Smash Bros. Ultimate already kinda threw that rule out the window. Anyway before the race starts, the team is abruptly introduced to their new rivals, Team Killer Ink. The two briefly have a back-and-forth as expected from typical rivalries like this, then all competitors stand at the start and the race begins. Everyone races to the finish while beating the following obstacles: sliding down rails, avoiding buzzsaws, shooting Zapfish dolls at hoops, avoiding water sprinklers (which is a given for the Splatsquad), climbing a tower which Meggy manages to do with a lava butt-bounce, and long jumping a huge gap towards the goal. Our heroes run into trouble with the last obstacle thanks to the Killer Inkâs leader pushing Meggy off, but the team successfully rescues her with 30 seconds remaining. Later that day, Meggy walks around frustrated about her rivals teasing her for being human and she tries to calm down with an order of ice cream. However, Crusty Sean notices her and explains that his food truck has a strict âno humansâ policy. Then she travels to other shops which also happen to have the same sign from earlier. Yeah, Iâm not one to reference real-life history but someone needs to tell this side of Inkopolis that itâs not 1965 (or in this case 2015) anymore. This might be the most confusing part of the video as everyone refusing to serve Meggy doesnât make sense even for this universe. If she was able to live in Inkopolis after becoming human, why is this a thing NOW? Didnât she help save the town with her friends? But it turns out this sequence mightâve been a dream all along as Meggy sees her past self. She tells her that she is nothing without her old abilities and she only won the round because of her friendsâ help. But Human Meggy claims sheâs capable on her own especially without the surfboard, her Inkling self leaves, and she wakes up.
ăăčăŻăŻă€ăă©ăłă âSquidward Runâ
The second day of Splatfest is here and Meggy throws away her gadget as Axol oversees her entering the tower. Later on, the Squid Sisters introduce the second round which is attacking an army of Squidwards. First team to 100 and wins and advances to the finals but attacking teammates will cost 10 points. The battle begins as the four teams scramble to earn the winning score. Everything seems well until Meggy struggles to keep up with her team. Nearing 100 points, Mario spots a cannonball of Squidwards and the Ink Brigade team wins the match (not Killer Ink, this is a different team). The Splatsquad is shocked to have lost resulting in Meggy breaking down crying. She regrets throwing away the board as it wouldâve helped them out to win and she runs away. Mario grows suspicious of the Brigadeâs victory and proceeds to investigate.
ăăĄăźăŒăźç”¶æă âMeggyâs Despairâ
That night, Meggy is depressed about her failure thinking about letting Desti down. She exclaims âDonât be sadâ, but it turns out to be Axol looking over to cheer her up. He hands her the surfboard she trashed earlier, saying that the professor upgraded his Inkweaver and is willing to test both of them out. They both spray and slide down the building which cheers Meggy up missing what it felt like having those abilities. Meanwhile back at the stage, Mario, Luigi, and Tari search for clues about the rigged match. Mario trips on something, and it happens to be a switch behind some plants. He activates it revealing a cannon that shoots out Squidward clones, and it turns out that the winning team had cheated and the three rush to tell the news. Back to Meggy and Axol as the two finish their fun, she is enlightened but still complains about the board since it reminds her of her past. Axol explains that the device does not take away from her personality or shows sign of weakness, despite being one the best manga artists out there he relies on his trusty pen to unlock his true potential. What really matters is being yourself and the advantage is nothing to be ashamed of. Meggy agrees but she wishes he had told her before they lost the tournament. SUDDENLY the Squid Sisters barge in to tell her the good news: The Splatsquad is back in the Splatfest. Thanks to the trioâs detective work (which Mario desperately wants all the credit for), the Ink Brigade has been disqualified for tampering with the arena and her team can compete in the finals. Everyone is ecstatic, especially Meggy since she is relieved to have one last chance to fulfill her promise.
ăăăȘăă«ćć©ăçŽæăăŸăăă âPromised You a Victoryâ
Back to her dream, Meggy makes a deal with her past form to use the Ink Boi and she evaporates into particles floating in the breeze. Then Desti shows up asking her how it feels to fulfill her dream, but she says itâs not about winning and is doing this for her. Desti smiles and knows she will win. Then itâs the third day and final round at Walleye Warehouse, where the Turf War begins with Splatsquad against Killer Ink. Poetically as Callie says, it ends where it all began this time with standard rules. The match starts and the heat is on between the competitors resulting in some cool tricks from the Squad team. As time gets closer to zero, tension builds up when three of our heros get splattered and itâs down to Meggy. But through her skill and determination she knocks out three opponents with a triple-combo kill buying her time. The Killer Ink leader tries to escape and she chases after her. Nowhere in her sights, the leader surprise-attacks Meggy and looks up getting mocked and then hallucinates Desti as if she was right in front of her. Meggy exclaims sheâs only getting started. Using the surfboard, she throws her Splattershot at her, kicks her own weapon and knocks her out. 15 seconds left and the Squad spray as much of the warehouse as they can. Time is UP, and silence looms over the arena when the score is tallied (I wonder if Judd and Liâl Judd are there). And the winner isâŠ. TEAM SPLATSQUAD. Everyone cheers and Meggy has finally made her vow to win for Desti with tears of joy. The SMG4 crew congratulates their friends and Bob declares another party back at the apartment to celebrate the wondrous occasion. But E. Gadd shouts for a thank you for his inventions.
ăäœă§ăăăïŒă âNo Matter What!â
Back at Meggyâs home everyone is gleefully partying the evening away and she is finally proud to have completed her momentous task and thanks Axol for his help. Meggy goes outside to the rooftop viewing the sunset and Destiâs spirit appears. She asks what sheâll do now, Meggy replies with what she meant about her friends but Desti explains all she saw was her constant training and mourning her loss and she needs to move on. Meggy responds saying that itâs been difficult to forget so she makes it easier with a hug. Desti thanks her for keeping the promise and they both say goodbye. She fades away into the sky and Meggy is comforted knowing she achieved closure. Overhearing Mario playing Pin the Tail again, she rushes back to her room to play with her friends as the camera shifts to the sunset concluding the film.
ăæ¶ăăŸăăăéæăăȘăæ„œăăæ ïżœïżœïżœă âA Tear-jerking, Goofy and Fun Filmâ
I love this movie A LOT and the positive reception is well-deserved. Luke, Kevin, all of you guys down at Glitch Productions, FANTASTIC work for bringing justice by finishing what the Anime Arc left off. I have nothing but true praise for this masterpiece which weâll finally go over. The editing is well done especially during certain scenes along with the videoâs overall tone make it close to the feeling of a feature-length movie. I know, 40 minutes doesnât necessarily count as the arcs do a better job satisfying length but it holds the record for being the longest SMG4 video ever. Characters are spot-on with Meggy having the starring role to boot. The comedy is par for the course like the usual SMG4 video, but Iâm glad it doesnât clash with the overall story and serves its purpose for a good laugh as it usually does. And there are memorable moments such as Meggy crossing paths with her Inkling self, Axol helping her and my most favorite part, the ending when Desti hugs her and says goodbye. Thatâs powerful AND beautiful. But nothing is ever really perfect as my only problem is that there isnât much of a bump in quality with the visuals like how most shows upgrade their art style when theyâre turned into movies. I donât think the whole thing falls apart because of it, I just wanted to know what the video would look like had it looked as good as the poster, but looks arenât everything if you have a great plot to back it up. Maybe someday Garryâs Mod 2 will be released and the next movie will look even better than this one also becoming the new standard for future videos, who knows. If youâre confused or donât agree on why I love the current state of the channel, itâs because we would like to see them at their true potential. By the looks of it, they might be taking baby steps or they might not be far off soon enough. Meta Runner and Glitch Productions were made from their ambition and hard work and is pretty commendable from their background of making videos initially for fun, and this movie may as well be the bridge for things to come. Whatever happens, I wish all of these people the best of luck. With all that said, Iâm giving Meggyâs Destiny a perfect 10/10 and nothing else needs to be spoken.
Thatâs all for my review everyone, I really hope all of you enjoyed it and the film as much as I did because SMG4 DEFINITELY pulled it off. Most of my friends love it and wish them the best too. So thank you guys so much for watching and once again thank you Luke and your friends for giving us something special after all these years, please keep it up donât let yourselves down. See you guys later and weâll meet again for more reviews and reactions and peace out!

Fridgewheatfield 2019 GOTY Awards
Normally I would go through the TGA nominations and give my thoughts on who the winner of each was for me. But 2019 kinda sucked for games imo, and I didnât play very many. So instead, I want to highlight 5 games I really loved this year and give them each their own award. So here they are:
Best AAA Game: God of War (2018)
This game really took me by surprise. I got it in the Summer for 50% off and hoped it would scratch an itch that I knew a 3rd BOTW playthrough wouldnât quite scratch. I didnât expect much from it except for maybe some fun gameplay, since I had never played another game in the series, but it won a lot of GOTY awards in 2018, so I figured it was worth a try for the discount.
This game floored me. I was enamored from start to finish. The environments, the story, the characters, and especially the gameplay had me glued to this game for 10 hours a day for almost a week. I have never felt such guilt from shafting irl responsibilities in order to play a game. The graphics are among the best of this generation. The world building and main quest line kept me interested and actually listening the entire time. The relationship between Kratos and Atreus was strangely relatable, but never had me siding with one character over the other for too long. And the combat is probably the most immersive, diverse, and fast-paced of any game Iâve played. I fought thousands of enemies and I wouldnât be surprised if there were only a few enemies that I actually killed in the exact same ways. This game was a huge pleasant surprise for me, and the ending pushed its hypothetical sequel near the top of my list of most anticipated games. 10/10
Most Satisfying: A Hat in Time
A Hat in Time finally came to Switch this year after what felt like an eternity. I was waiting for this game to come to Nintendo since the Kickstarter was announced. Before we knew about Mario Odyssey or Yooka-Laylee, it was refreshing to see that anybody still had interest in reviving the genre of game I loved most as a kid.
This game is EXACTLY what I wanted it to be: A love letter to every Gamecube game I played ad nauseum. A Hat in Time masterfully blends the freeform movement of Mario Sunshine, an art style inspired by Wind Waker, and the charming dialogue of Thousand Year Door to create a game that starts at a 10 and never lets you down. There must have been 20 times during this game where I said to myself, âI hope this game [does this],â and the game followed through with shocking consistency. With customization, easter eggs, references, and humor stuffed into every mission, this game reminded me of everything I loved about the games I grew up with. But this game isnât just bells and whistles, it also features some of the most engaging level design of any 3D platformer Iâve played. A train murder mystery, a free-roam around a cruise ship paradise run by uwu-speaking seals, and genuinely one of the scariest segments in any game Iâve played were some of the highlights. But none of this gameâs 30+ main missions ever disappointed. While the graphical quality and technical performance were less than stellar, everything that the game WANTED to be more than made this game an easy 9/10.
Funniest Game: Untitled Goose Game
I never understood all the buzz about this game leading up to its release. Youâre just a goose? What do you even do?
I was skeptical, but this game did not let me down. There was something strangely hilarious about stealing everyoneâs stuff and annoying them for no reason other than to cross off a to-do list. Maybe it was imagining the humansâ perspective. Maybe it was the spastic piano score that only played when you did anything. But whatever it was, this game had me cracking up for its entire 2 hour duration. You canât deny that the price is a bit steep for such a small game, but the amount of enjoyment I got from an afternoon with this game left me satisfied with my purchase. And with fun secret challenges to discover along the way and to struggle with after the credits, leaving me saying âOhhh I didnât think to do that!â, Goose Game is just enough of a game to justify everything that it has going on. 9/10
Most Fun Bad Game: Animal Crossing Pocket Camp
The OG followers will remember when this was a New Leaf blog, and you best believe it will be a New Horizons blog when the time comes. I hated this game when it came out in 2017. I thought it was a boring, empty waste of time that did nothing for fans of the series. But after numerous updates and quality of life changes that I totally missed the boat on, Pocket Camp actually became worth spending time on. I jumped back into this game following the post-E3 hype for New Horizons, and Iâve logged in every day since.
I wonât mince words, this game is bad. Itâs nefarious, predatory mobile game practices at its most kawaii. But damn if I donât love these new furniture sets they introduce every few weeks. I love piecing together the new items I get from each set or event to make a camp that Iâd enjoy spending time in. Iâve spent more money than I care to admit on Pocket Campâs take on loot boxes (not bank-breaking, but more than Iâm proud of). But I honestly canât say I regret any microtransaction Iâve made. Iâve had a lot of fun with this game in the past few months, and getting everyone I know back into it alongside me made it even better, just like previous Animal Crossing games. The crux of the enjoyment is still sharing your designs and collections with your friends, just like always. And that was Animal Crossing enough for me. Not giving this one a score because its still a scummy mobile game, but if you havenât played this game since launch, redownload it and give it a look-through.
Best Game I Played in 2019: Banjo-Kazooie
Everyone knows how good this game is. I played it as a kid, and Iâve known my entire life that this game is great. Iâve reminisced with friends about this game, Iâve watched countless Letâs Plays, and Iâve sung its praises as the best 3D platformer there is.
But I hadnât ever actually beaten it until this past Summer.
And it turns out that I didnât even know how right I was all these years. Banjo-Kazooie is a perfect game. Every level is meticulously crafted to be unique, interesting, and just big enough to where theyâre fun to explore, but small enough to where there is no empty space. Banjo (and especially Kazooie) control like a dream. The dialogue is the textbook example of charming video game dialogue. And the game is just long enough to feel full, but it never overstays its welcome by retreading old ground for the sake of making the game longer. And donât even get me started on the soundtrack. Thereâs a reason Grant Kirkhope left the 2000s as the only household name that came out of Rare. This game could not be improved, and its stood the test of time against the other greats of the genre like Mario 64, A Hat in Time (imo), and Mario Odyssey, to maintain its spot as the game that every 3D platformer wants to be. Itâs the best game of the genre, the best game I played this year, and itâs now among my top 5 favorite games of all time. An obvious 10/10.
-
Thanks for reading this. Feel free to respond, send a message, or send an ask with any of your thoughts on these games, or even some of your games of the year. Iâd love to read them. Iâll see you next year for my 10 page review on New Horizons, which will surely double as my GOTY post.

Yugioh S3 Ep 29-30: LAVA GOLEM
Ah, Kaiba island.
Iâm not quite sure how big Kaiba island is. In this picture it looks like we got ourselves a 6 story building on the side, but if we compare the 6 story building to the tower itâs like...thatâs a 100 story building, roughly? Our art team has given up trying to make this building look like anything other than what it looks like, and theyâre just going to make a metallic cross-section of a dick every time it shows up.
Also, I kinda wish we saw a little bit more of the landing sequence to get here because....
....did we do an Akira motorcycle slide into this island or is that just me?
Meanwhile, as Joey is duking it out on the worldâs largest, coldest dildo, Serenity is stationed at the post she made for herself.
LOL Why did they do this? Why would they design this?
(read more under the cut)
Inside the swamp cloud, Marik is shocked that Joey has been largely unphased by this horrific experience.
Clearly Marik has not caught on that Joeyâs been conditioned to this stuff living with Yugi for the past many years, and a little bit of pink spirit-sucking wires arenât really much of a match for that time Joey saw Yugi light a guy on fire with a match once. Well, a lighter. Either way, this isnât so bad.
And then, I donât really talk about card games here, but Marik introduces a new card I have not seen before.
Behold, Lava Golem.
Look at him! Like I know everyoneâs kinda freaking out about the new pokemon but like...Lava Golem? Remember that sweet face?
Heâs just soooooo good.
Man this is the first Yugioh card ever that Iâve actually liked.
And, upon seeing this terrifying situation, Tea turns to Yugi and says:
Thanks Tea.
Also during these few episodes, Marik is starting to undergo a transformation, mostly via his viens. Itâs a look. Kind of worried about his blood pressure.
And I was thinking that they just invented a a chin vein, but, as it turns out, they actually did their research.
There is a vein there! I mean this isnât really that big a deal to most of you, probably, but anime often gets a bad rap for ignoring anatomy (which ... itâs a cartoon so yeah thatâs...thatâs what you do in cartoons, you ignore most anatomy) but hey--they got this vein correct. I donât know why they even bothered, but that was very nice of them to make something so gross so correct.
And because some of you might want this just for yourself, cap free:
Enjoy.
Along with this good boy.
Is it just me? Is it just me thatâs all ham about this Domo Kun face? This Mario mini-boss?
I usually donât like the Yugioh monster designs but this one is just...heâs such a good boy.
Anyway, the art team was told at some point to change piss cloud and they decided to do this instead
Why does the width keep changing on the tower? Like I know it was tossed between different artists but like...it just...it keeps changing and it bothers me.
Anyway, back to what matters.
Can this be our new Joey Wheeler? Just leave everything about Joey Wheeler the same but replace his sprite with Lava Golem and with no explanation. Iâd be down.
I do think that this arc brought back their A-team for the animation, there was just a lot more going on visually than weâve had in a good while. Like this Marik face, for instance--this very famous face that Iâve seen drawn on like...a whole lot of characters. This is a much-referenced pose.
I mean, hey, not using reference while drawing is the same as dueling as Yugi Muto and just never using the Pharaoh. Like sure you could, but never, ever, ever do that.
And I just want you to know, I held that really corny anime art joke in for like a straight week on twitter as the entire world was going off about whether or not youâre supposed to use reference materials when you draw as if this is some sort of controversial topic (itâs not. No one cares about your process.) and yâall, it was HARD. But I did it. I resisted the discourse and still found a way to sneak it into here, into the side blog where I can go off about the inane art twitter discourse without getting blocked.
Which, again, was about âCan I use reference?â I...art twitter. Art twitter, I swear. why would you NOT? You have the Pharaoh, art twitter. You have the Pharaoh.
Anyway, I hope at least one of you got that joke. I hope one of you at least was like âlol--Art Reference is the Heart of the Cards.â and the next time someone tells you that using reference is cheating (which will never happen, a infinitesimal number of people in one forum on DeviantArt in 2003 said this once in the entire history of art, and I donât know why twitter is fighting with these child-run forums that donât even exist anymore) you can say âDonât you dare talk about my platonic soulmate that way.â and just end the argument there.
The hell are these people who say artists donât use reference? Do you write history papers without reading books?
And thatâs my rant that was a.) too long for twitter and also b.) maybe too much anime. With art twitter itâs like..thereâs no middle ground between too much anime and not enough anime. No middle ground and I have no idea where the people who follow me even stand. I think they just want to see Zelda. I think thatâs about it. I really canât tell with them. Iâm like...always confused as to what those people want.
I need to delete my twitter. Anyways, back to Joey, who felt like breaking the fourth wall.
And so Marik decides to sober up and play the God card.
Yo guys, remember God Cards? Iâll be honest, I kinda completely forgot about them.
And then at some point this shot happened and I was living for it.
such a good idea to offset people in a different filter and kinda stack em. Bro was saying he remembered this sort of thing in Cowboy Bebop but I donât remember what the hell heâs talking about. Bro and his spicy headcanons are mixing up Yugioh and Cowboy Bebop now. Never thought Iâd see that.
And then Kaibaâs muscles kinda twitched and it looked like smiling.
Man, were there a lot of phoenix references in the 00âČs or is that just me who read way too much Harry Potter?
And like, because I do draw Yugi sometimes, occasionally people will reblog and tag with Pharaohâs real name in there (I canât really avoid that spoiler), so I think itâs pretty likely his name comes from Atum of Egyptian legend. Who...wasnât really a Pharaoh. Atum was kinda weird, he gave birth to...himself. Heâs an interesting read. But, weâll get there when we get there.
But, I didnât really know about Bennu pyramids until I actually went and looked up Egyptian Phoenixes. I had always thought that the Phoenix was Greek in origin but, according to Wikipedia some people say it happened in Egypt as well. And if itâs good enough for Wikipedia, itâs good enough for Yugioh.
The return of the mystery purple moisturizer jug and it brought itâs entire extended family of fiji waters.
And so, Ishizu decides to do the right thing and take care of Mai. Not sure what Ishizu knows about being a nurse since she lived underground, but since she can help cure poisonous snake bites, maybe comas are a little bit easier?
And so Serenity starts the 30 minute jog up the phallic tower to get to Joeyâs death sequence. Sheâs made it to about...20 ft outside of the plane by the end of this episode. Serenity runs kinda slow.
Bro mentioned that he thinks it looks like Teaâs trying to very stealthily steal Yugiâs wallet. And thatâs just my spicy headcanon now, too.
Well now thatâs over, lemme see if...
.......it couldâve happened. It only has like a couple of human skulls on it.
And hey if this is the first recap youâve ever seen from me, hereâs a link to read them all from the beginning in Chrono order, back when they werenât color coded and I had no idea what the hell I was doing.

2017- Top 7 (And 1)
Well as another year closes, so does another fantastic year in gaming. In fact, this could be one of the best in history!! You may say, Why only a Top 7 and there are two reasons. 1: Everyone does a Top 10 or Top 20, but nobody does just 7. It also makes the list more prestigious 2: Iâm lazy.Â
But I do give my biggest disappointment
Well lets get on with it.Â
Biggest Disappointment: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch)
Now I know youâre shocked and youâre saying things like â This list is shit! BotW is the GOTY!â or âWHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTT how?!?!â Let me explain. I donât have the nostalgia for Nintendo that a majority of people have, so I can give a pretty non-biased opinion when it comes to Nintendo games. BotW is a decent game, but its not without its faults. Actually itâs a really bad Zelda game and an even worse âOpen-Worldâ game. Itâs an open world game made by people who havenât played one in a decade. However, most alarming is the story, or lack thereof. I know part of the charm in Zelda games is creating your own adventure, but I found almost zero motivation, especially in the early hours to even progress forward. BotW is vastly different from previous Zelda games and takes a lot of risks. Some paid and most didn't. The game is gorgeous for a launch game and being able to play it both on my tv and âon the goâ is also a huge plus. The biggest complaint though is the controls are complete ass ( NOTE: I did not play it with a Pro controller, but I understand its much better) I get that with the way the controller is designed you're limited to certain buttons, but some of the controls are so counter-intuitive, that I constantly found myself looking or thinking about which button did what rather than naturally doing it ( Iâve been playing videogames for 25 years, so its not a user error, its a design error). All in all, its a Fine game and a lot of people love it, but its not the best game of the year.. itâs not even the best game on the systemâŠ.
Number 7: Hellblade: Senuaâs Sacrifice (PS4)
Hellblade could be on this list for its impeccable sound design alone. Seriously, play this game in the dark with a good headset. While there is combat, the game is not predicated on heavy combat, its more about the deeply personal story told with a Norse mythology backdrop. The puzzles are simple, but unique. The game also looks incredible. The voice acting is superb. In a gaming environment littered with so many open-world games, a well-designed, linear story-driven game is great palette cleanser. Seriously, check this game out.Â
Number 6: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (Xbox One)
This is in no way a political post, but in the current state of the United States, a game about killing Nazis is so refreshing. It also helps that its actually a really great game. While I do think The New Order is a more meaty, complete story and game, The New Colossus has more jaw dropping âHOLY SHIT!â & âWTF!â moments than any game Iâve played in the last 7-8 years. The game knows what it is and it excels greatly. The game takes some really creative plot twists. BJ isnât just some standard FPS goon that murders Nazis ( well HE is that too, but you learn more about his past and find a very human side to him). Its also go violent and so satisfying taking an ax to the face of a Nazi. MY biggest gripe is right when the game really starts hitting its stride, it just sortâve ends. You can go back and revisit previous locations to take of Ubercommanders, but unless you just want more of the same, there is no real incentive to so. Iâm really looking forward a 3rd(4th?) chapter in this Wolfenstein story.
Number 5: Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)
Iâm not the biggest Mario fan and like I said above, I donât have the nostalgia for Nintendo. As a person, who thinks Mario 64 is way over-rated and is a sub-par game, but loves Mario Galaxy, my biggest concern going in was that this was going to be more like 64. To my surprise, after getting used to the sensitivity of the controls, I found my self REALLY enjoying the game and constantly looking for moons to collect, even when I had enough to move on to the next world. The game is set up in a way to encourage you to revisit worlds even after youâve beaten the game. I found it to be relatively short for a Mario game, but honestly there is enough there even if you donât want to 100% the game. Cappy is a new and fresh introduction to Mario that the franchise really needed.Â
Number 4: Prey (XBONE)Â
Man I have to admit something about Prey. I played the demo and didnât like it. Finally played the full game and for the first 2 hours thought it was kinda dull, but I knew there was something there and I kept on playing and boy am I glad I did. Prey is THE BEST game seemingly nobody played. I fault a lot of that to the failure to market it correctly. Prey is such a unique experience and a game that is so different from anything our there, it has to be played to fully comprehend it. In terms of gameplay, it doesnât reinvent the wheel but itâs one of those games that when I wasnât playing, itâs all I thought about. When I was playing, I just wanted to explore every nook and corner within Talos 1. It also has one of the most unique endings/twist to a game I've experienced in a long time. I donât want to dwell on too much because Iâll ramble into spoiler territory but do yourself a favor and PLAY this game!
Number 3: Injustice 2 (PS4)Â
As a massive DC fan and a massive Mortal Kombat, I was hotly anticipating I2, I was a little concerned with the gear system prior to release fearing it would cause imbalance (especially online) but it didnât for the most part. In a gaming world, where loot boxes are all the rage, I think NRS handled it fairly well. At the end of the day, I wish it was all just cosmetic because i rarely looked at the stat boost and just went with what i liked cosmetically. The story picks up following the events of the first game. Its also very odd to me that NRS can make a better, more compelling story than Warner Bros can with their moviesâŠbut I digress. There are plethora of new and returning characters and all are different enough to fit your fighting preference. Some characters i wouldâve preferred over others, but all in all, I think its a very impressive roster. With different towers/multiverses rotating in various intervals, its a significant upgrade to the S.T.A.R labs challenges from the previous game. I put in over 100 hours and thats even before all the DLC characters are out. Â
Number 2: Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4)
Being that Uncharted is one of my favorite gaming franchises, this should be no surprise. Goodbye Nathan Drake, Hello supporting cast! With Nathan Drakes adventures âcompletedâ, I am all for more Uncharted with side stories for supporting cast. (Young Sully next please). Chloe (being absent from Uncharted 4) and Nadine (being a villain in Uncharted 4) is an interesting tag team set up. Personalities clash and deception and lying is ever present as youâd expect. As per the status quo from Naughty Dog, the game is graphically top notch and the mo-cap and voice acting is superb. There are several nods to previous games and even an appearance by a certain character. The game is shorter than previous Uncharted games and its honestly the perfect length for this style of story an price tag. More Uncharted is always a good thing!
Honorable Mentions: Pyre(PC), & Metroid: Samus Returns(3DS)Â
Number 1: Horizon Zero Dawn(PS4)
Man, what can I say about HZD that hasnât been covered before. From the first trailer I saw, I had an expectation of what I wanted from this game and its surpassed it ten fold. An achievement in and of itself these days. There are a lot of great open -world games out there, but one of the biggest issues with all this open-world-ness is that story gets dumbed down or sacrificed ( see Breath of the Wild). Horizon Zero Dawn has a really great story that keeps you going adn trying to figure out âWhat is Zero Dawn?â Trying to uncover all the little secrets is so much fun, the collectibles make you explore this gigantic world. The (post-apocalyptic) )world never feels empty or barren ( unless that was the intention) Even the side quests feel meaningful for the most part. There is a lot going on in this game, but its all organized and presented together well. My one gripe is that the game doesn't do a great job of telling you the differences and benefits to certain ammo types, youâre basically left to figure it out on your own. Fighting robot dinosaurs never gets old and with the addition of The Frozen Wilds, you get 3 new creatures and they are brutal as ever. Every fight with a Thunderjaw or a group of Scorchers feels meaningful and satisfying even when you hit level 60. While I donât think its fair to compare Breath of the Wild and Horizon Zero Dawn, they are often compared ad nauseum. I will say that in my opinion HZD did almost everything better than BotW in the things they both tried to accomplish. Horizon Zero Dawn is not only my favorite game on 2017, its made its way into my Top 5 favorite games of All-Time!

[TRANS] 150429 BTS - The Star Interview
Source: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 KRN - ENG © ktaebwi
Bringing the theme of the beautiful yet insecure present to their third mini album âThe Most Beautiful Moment In Life PT.1âČ, we met with BTS who came back after 8 months.Â
JINÂ
Known as a passionate collector of the famous game character âSuper Marioâ, Jin was asked to imagine what if one day Super Mario doesnât exist anymore. He said, âMy memories and my hobby that I have been collecting the whole time would be gone. Wouldnât it make me feel empty and lonely?â. He also expressed the wish to have fun and play like the characters in the game if Super Mario exists in real life.Â
Talking about his famous nickname âShoulder Gangsterâ, Jin said âI have been hearing the same thing over and over again so I donât think itâs coolâ and requested adorably, âListen here everyone around me. Next time when you see me, donât start by talking about my shoulder, start by waving hello to me.âÂ
Jin who emphasized on âhandsomenessâ himself said glasses are the hindrance to handsomeness. He couldnât hide his envy, saying âThereâs a lot of handsome men in the world. My wannabe style is Kang Dongwon-sunbaenim. I have been liking him a lot since I was young. He⊠has the face that I really want to look like.âÂ
SUGAÂ
Among Sugaâs related search keywords. ânice legsâ stands out the most. âNice legs that outshine girl groups? It doesnât seem good for a man. I donât know if itâs because of my physique or not, but it wonât improve no matter how much I do legs workout, huhu,â said Suga.Â
We asked him the secret to having not only nice legs but also nice skin, to which he answered, âSkin care? Not at all. Iâm too lazy to apply lotion to I just use moisturizer. Also, if this is considered any secret, I take a bath twice a week.âÂ
Suga, known as the âUltimate Lethargic Kingâ that even beats INFINITEâs Sungkyu, said, âI have a nickname called âgrandpaâ. My studio is a small room about 3.3m2 , I donât go out anywhere except for the bathroom for 3 days in a row. But itâs fine. For music, I choose the stick rather than the carrot*. My belief is that no matter how lethargic I am, Iâll fulfill all of my responsibilities till the end.âÂ
Suga shared he wanted to live so that even when heâs over 60, he would be able to exclaim endlessly âWow! Can I promote like that?â. Somehow, his lethargy reminds us of actor - singer Yang Donggeun.Â
*based on the idiom âcarrot and stickâ.Â
J-HOPEÂ
We were curious where the source of happiness in J-hope, who possesses a positive mind, comes from. He told us how he was a born dancer, âI have that kind of overflowing energy in my body. I liked playing around since I was little, a total mischievous kid back then. I especially liked moving around, thatâs why I started dancing. Around my third year of elementary school I think? We had to do morning exercises at school, I personally filmed the dances I made and my friends followed.âÂ
When asked if he faces any inconvenience because of his bright and positive personality, J-hope answered, âYeah. When I look a little tired or sulky, everyone asks me if Iâm hurt somewhere. A-blood type people are often moody, haha!âÂ
J-hope is the only one in the group with older sister. As we were asking about her personality and appearance, member Jimin immediately shouted âPretty!â. J-hope laughed and said, âI donât know if sheâs pretty or not⊠Personality-wise sheâs exactly like me. Her favorite member is not Jimin over there, itâs Jungkook. She often sends me messages about choreography through Kakaotalk and asks me to tell Jungkook, haha!âÂ
RAP MONSTERÂ
What if in the future, Rap Monsterâs children want to be a singer like their father? âOf course Iâll support them. Whether they choose to be an idol singer or a musician is very important. Would I oppose if my kids do my job? I think thereâs no way parents donât have any influence on their kids. My parents? Please support me, haha!âÂ
Rap Monster scored 850 points in TOEIC exam in his second year of middle school. Heâs nicknamed âSexy Brain Manâ, having his IQ recorded at 148 in second year of high school. He also assessed himself to be âgood at Englishâ. We asked if there is any member he wants to tutor English, to which he replied, âWe need it when doing activities overseas so I want to teach the members and my sister too. My sister wants to be a flight attendant⊠I guess Iâm worried about her.âÂ
Currently appearing on tvN âProblematic Manâ, Rap Monster picked Jun Hyunmoo and Tyler as the panelists he looks up to. He shared, âHyunmoo-hyung is appearing on many programs. He loves working so much that he gets IV almost every day. And Tyler-hyung makes me wonder how far can one get when learning a foreign language. Why America is a developed country, his perfect logic and perspective on the world is like a philosopherâs so I learn a lot from him.âÂ
He also uncovered the hidden rumor spread among fans for 2 years. They said Rap Monsterâs heart once stopped. He laughed and said âThereâs a line in the 2nd albumâs intro that goes like âMy heart stopped when I was 9 years oldâ. Itâs actually a metaphorical way of saying âI lived a meaningless life as if my heart has stoppedâ, but fans took it literally. Wouldnât there be a surgery scar on my chest when I take off my shirt then? (laughs)âÂ
JIMINÂ
Jimin, who turned 20 and became a college student this year, shared he enjoyed Japanese lessons when taking Internet lectures amidst his frequent overseas schedule. He revealed to take extreme care of himself, saying âIâm the type to gain weight when I eat so I became sensitive about dieting. Especially my eyes, lips and cheeks keep puffing up! Iâm now on a diet too, Iâm trying to eat less and stay away from salty food as much as I can.âÂ
Looking at fansâ blogs, there are a lot of photos of V adoring Jimin, while other photos capture Jimin having a crush on V. We were curious about the two, so Jimin explained, âWeâre the same age, so if thereâs anything I find hard to talk about with the older ones, I talk to him and he takes care of me. Itâs probably why we seem closer.âÂ
When asked if thereâs any day when his visual is not in its prime, he said âI want so too. If fans think like that, I want to continue to be so.âÂ
VÂ
Thanks to Vâs good looks, his past photos look so handsome that the fans were shocked. Member Jimin who went to the same high school stepped up as a witness, âIt was no joke.âÂ
âI like making friends a lot, but I wasnât popular much,â V said. Meanwhile, Jimin made a speechless (?) expression and revealed âThere wasnât any female student that didnât know V. They all nudged each other and looked at him. Wherever we go everyone knows V!â.Â
BTS was chosen as the most prominent group among those debuted in 2013. When asked about the secret to their popularity, the members answered that itâs thanks to Vâs stan attracting skill. Suga continued, âThe fans like Vâs unique charm that we canât understand. He doesnât pretend to be cute but he looks cute, haha!â Rap Monster added, âVâs selfie skill is instinctive. He attracts the fans with the so-called unedited âboyfriend lookâ.âÂ
Even though he has a lot of opposite gender friends, V said he isnât worried about what the fans would think. He laughed, âI have to receive permission to date from my dad, so thereâs no worry of getting into a scandal like others.âÂ
JUNGKOOKÂ
Jungkook revealed unlike everyoneâs expectation of his growth in terms of height along with music, since heâs the youngest, âit seems like my height stops at 178cm.â He explained the reason behind the big scar on his right cheek, âItâs from the time I fought with my brother on who gets to play computer games first when I was young. Come to think of it, it was just a trivial thing. But I donât blame my brother. Weâre guys, donât all guys grow up like that?â, showing a manly side of himself.
Nicknamed âGolden Maknaeâ for being good at singing and dancing, even working out, Jungkook shared âIâm not good at studying. (laughs) But I only got one wrong in the Japanese mid-term exam.â Rap Monster praised, âHe doesnât like studying, but once heâs determined he will do really well.âÂ
The members revealed Jungkookâs excellent drawing skill, to which Jungkook replied âIâm really confident with real life drawings.â They playfully told him to draw Producer Bang Shihyukâs face in 3 seconds and he did on the interview spot. (Drawing below)Â
On being known as the natural enemy (?) of Jimin, Jungkook explained âWe actually get along really well.â Jimin laughed, confessing âActually I lose all the time too. Iâm not confident I can win Jungkook.â He added, âI think you need talent to be able to have muscles too. Thatâs why I always lose to him, heâs muscular.â

What the hey, AJ? | First Assault [Volume: January 2019]
YES, THE TITLE IS COMPLICATED.
Hi - if youâre reading this, you know the drill. My nameâs MetaVanAJ, insert quirky catchphrase and/or âyour mumâ joke here. Welcome to the first volume of âWhat the hey is AJ play...ing?â Yeah, the title isn't the greatest but hey it rhymes...mostly. I just thought Iâd use this as quick way of communicating what Iâm playing (or going to play) at the moment, & hopefully give some quick recommendations, to pique your interests in some really good stuff. As much as I would love to do a video version of this, I feel I would lose the spontaneity behind the idea; once I get my shit together Iâll do one of these in video form, someday. The only reason Iâm writing this now is because January 2019 is so jammed packed with excellent NEW titles (despite most of this article being about ports & remakes), that I literally wonât be able to keep up. And I canât even keep up in an off-season so this is just exponentially worse. So, âwhat the hey is AJ playingâ in January 2019?
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes
(Platform(s): Switch | Release Date: Jan 18th)
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is taking another core title hostage so please buy this game. Joke aside, I am still looking forward to this title. Like everyone else, Iâm a bit iffy and uncertain about how the gameplay is shaping up but Iâll be picking this up day one. Why? For one reason only, of course: Suda51. You see Goicha Suda is a brand - he is a different, âspecial snowflakeâ and he makes different âspecial snowflakeâ games. His name has been slapped on various works the past decade, and then some, but he actually hasnât directed a game since 2007âs No More Heroes, on the Nintendo Wii. Travis Strikes Again marks his return to the directorial seat, albeit an odd-way to do so. But hey, this means pure unadulterated Suda-vision, the same vision that gave us Killer7 and No More Heroes; meaning narrative-wise weâre up for, what the kids call, some wacky shit. That and being able to blast through this with a bud, in co-op, will ease any of the pain, if the gameplay isnât to mechanically engaging. Pain divided...is worse - why would you subject your friend to that?
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition
(Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC | Release Date: Jan 11th)
I saw someone call the âTale ofâ series the McDonalds of JRPGS - I donât think thatâs an accurate metaphor but hey itâs an interesting way to open up a paragraph, no? Tales games tend to be a bit âsame-yâ but itâs a bloody excellent formula and the fact theyâve released so many of these over the years just goes to show the formula works. Donât like the characters, story & setting of one Tales game? Play the next one - gameplay remains the same, fundamentally. I wonât dive into the gameplay deep here but let's just say the âactionâ is pretty decent in this âaction-RPGâ. Personally, you canât go wrong with any Tales after Tales of the Abyss (Symphonia didnât click with me, my bad). Apparently, Vesperia is one of the best in the series, so if itâs half as good as Abyss, and what Iâve seen of Xillia, then this is definitely worth a buy - especially on Switch, so you can take this bad boy on the go. Donât worry, high-frame lovers: it was 60fps on the 360 in 2008, itâll a good time, trust me. And this is one also has a dog with an eye patch in it...and a pirate midget. The definitive edition also adds all the extra goodies from the japan exclusive PS3 port, which is all the more reason to pick up a copy now. LIKE RIGHT NOW.
New Super Mario Brothers U Deluxe
(Platform: Switch | Out now!)
Eh, Iâm not super excited about this game in particular but moreso the idea of the game itself. Shocking fact: New Super Mario Bros. games have been decent this entire time. The games have no spunk, in terms of story and presentation, but boy is the level design tight & fun. If youâre looking for a good 2D platformer on Switch, get Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, or hey even Shantae Âœ Genie Hero. The other big 4-player party-style offerings however, have been kinda meagre offerings. Super Mario Party looks boring and soulless, Kirby: Star Allies is patronisingly easy to a point of being âunfunâ (and thatâs for a Kirby game), and I forgot how to casually play Smash without crushing peopleâs dreams. Super Mario Bros. U is a great platformer and even greater with a few buddies but Iâm not clamouring to get it at full price. I still strongly recommend it though if youâre just looking for some 4-player platform âem up fun. Comes with Luigi U too, thatâs nice - surprised they didnât charge us for it, all over again. Thatâd be almost as bad as charging a full 80 Australian dollars for it...oh wait.
Resident Evil 2 [2019 remake]
(Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: 25th Jan)
Legitimately thought, I donât need to sell you this one. You saw the trailer, youâre probably already hyped that Resi is âreturning to its rootsâ; whatever that means. Personally, I havenât touched Resident Evil up until recently, as I am a big baby when it comes to jump-scares. I know their coming but I still go through the physical shock of getting scared by set jumps. The titles I have been delving into (and loving) of late, have been Resi 4, 5 & 6...all at once - and I wonder why I canât tame the backlog? Anywho, thatâs why I am excited for the Resi 2 remake. Why should YOU be excited? The Resi 2 remake takes from all the best components of the series, and smooshs them together to create something extraordinarily beautiful - Â the actual horror elements and sense of claustrophobia through environmental design from the first three classic games, the tight gameplay formula from the modern Resi formula (4, 5, 6) and the beautiful new engine from Resi 7. Resident Evil 2 (2019_ is like a best hits album of everything the series has achieved so far. Play it, yeah - you owe it to yourself.
Kingdom Hearts freaking III
(Platform(s): PS4, Xbox One | Release Date: 29th Jan)
At this point, you are either on the Kingdom Hearts hype train, or you live in beautiful bliss of the Kingdom Hearts hype train. I got in an abusive relationship where whenever I thought about Kingdom Hearts 3, I would angrily playthrough the entirety of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix again. Iâm better now - I spend my days now complaining about Dream Drop Distance like a good boy now. That being said: Iâm a fan like everyone, Iâm getting this Day 1, and I payed an extra 20 Australian dollars, on top of full price, for the deluxe edition. If youâre wondering why you should buy Kingdom Hearts 3, all Iâm going to say is itâs going to be epic. Itâll have a rippling behemoth impact on anyone whoâs touched a game from the Eastern shores, like Final Fantasy XV did, at its release. If youâre a newcomer, obviously start with Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2, as they are the finest action-RPGs Iâve ever played, in my short time on this earth. But if youâre even remotely invested in the series, youâre already drooling - that fabled release of KH3 is so close I can practically taste it. It tastes so good. I SWEAR TO GOD THOUGH IF I SEE âFLOATY COMBATâ, I DONâT KNOW WHAT Iâll DO. Iâll see you at the end of it all...
Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal
(Platform(s): PS4, PC | Release Date: 18th Jan)
Woah, that last one got a little emotional there. Anyways, this oneâs an easy sell: BOOBS, BUTTS, ANIME BABES, & BODACIOUS BLADES. Senran Kagura Estival Versus was a interesting musou that showcased some promising gameplay elements; I actually had to activate more than two brain cells at once, during my playthrough. Shocking, I know. Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal is a remake of a 3DS game (Senran Kagura Burst), which consists of gameplay more akin to a 3D-Beat-âem-up. It simply looks like a bit of a meatier Estival Versus so Iâm keen to check it out & see how deep the game mechanics well is. If youâre looking for a fun light action romp too, you should as well. The presentation, which I wonât delve into here, is often what is a bit of a turn off for newcomers - I personally have never been swayed by it either way it. Sure, itâs a bit saucy but it doesnât detract from the fact that whatever the Senran Kagura series tries its hand at, is often a pretty fun & polished experience, albeit a slightly shallow one. This one isnât necessarily a âmust getâ but theyâre not charging full price so it is definitely worth an investigative playthrough, if you can get past the âfan-service-yâ presentation.
Well, thatâs it for the first volume of âWhat the hey, AJ?â Next time, I hope to adapt this into video form & hopefully spin in a few funnies, as well as just tighten up the structure. Next time, probably wonât be all new releases either - Iâll probably end up doing another just if I find that everything Iâm playing, at any given time, is amazing. I have, and always will be, MetaVanAJ - stay cool, fools. Actually, that was mean calling my audience fools. Stay cool, individuals.

Random Questions from AskReddit
1. What video game should everybody play at least once? Something classic like Mario. <<< Agreed. Super Mario World is actually the best.
2. 100 years from now, what modern things will people look back on and say, "WTF?"
A lot of things, Iâm sure. Itâll be weird. We look back on things and think that, so I canât imagine what people 100 years from now will think. Like, will they laugh at the technology we have? The fashion? 2016?
3. What film should NEVER have gotten a sequel?
Thereâs a few movies where Iâve thought that, but of course I canât think of one at the moment.
4. Congratulations! You've been promoted to CEO of the company you currently work for. What changes do you make?
Iâm unemployed.
5. What is impossible to understand until it happens to you?
Thereâs a lot of things. For me, I deal with chronic mental and physical health issues, and I have a physical disability. Some things you just canât understand unless youâve been through it as well. Iâll try to explain to someone why I feel a certain way, or why I canât do something, and itâs hard to explain and for them to understand. Some things might not seem like a big deal to some people. I always feel stupid the rare times I do open up and express how Iâm feeling to others because it probably sounds so pathetic. But unless youâve been through something similar...
6. What's unacceptable if it's less than 100%?Â
Trust. <<< Iâll go with that.
7. What comes to mind when you think of the 2000's?
The fashion and the music.
8. What fictional food item from a television show, cartoon, movie, or video game have you always wanted to try?
Spaghetti tacos came to mind first haha.
9. What stereotype do you break?
Uhh.
10. What's one theme song you will NEVER skip?
I donât usually skip theme songs when watching something, actually. I just let it do its thing.
11. For those with a VERY happy marriage / relationship portrayed on FB, what dark secrets do you struggle with in your relationship that would be absolutely shocking to those that only see you on FB?
--
12. What's something that gets much more hate than it deserves?
I never have a good answer for questions like this.
13. What stupid object do you own but don't regret buying?
I don't own anything that I would consider a stupid purchase. <<< Same, I buy something because I like it.
14. What did you learn the hard way?
âNobody said it was easy, no one ever said it would be this hard...â
15. What was the last thing you wrote down on a physical piece of paper?
Our grocery list.
16. What is the most common lie you hear regularly?
Hmm. I donât know.
17. What are some things on your reverse bucket list (experiences that you hope you never have to go through in your life)?
Basically any negative thing anyone could experience would be preferred to avoid. <<< This.
18. What phrases or sayings drive you crazy?
*shrug*
19. What life hacks surprised you that it actually worked?
I havenât really tried anything major.
20. What is NOT an issue today, that you were sure was going to be a big problem when you where a child?
I was worried about stuff like that as a child.
21. People who realized they were attracted to people who have distinct qualities of their parents, what is it?
This question is terribly written. Anyway, I donât know.
22. What show / movie never gets old for you?
Iâve seen Roseanne, The Golden Girls, I Love Lucy, and Home Improvement to name a few countless times. I watch reruns of shows a lot; thereâs not much else on anyway. As for movies, a few Iâve seen a TON of times include: The Devil Wears Prada, Bridesmaids, Something Borrowed, 27 Dresses, I Love You, Man, Heâs Just Not That Into You, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, The Cable Guy, and The Parent Trap,
23. What makes you a bad employee?
Iâve never had a job, so I donât know.
24. What is something that was much less expensive when you were 15 years old, that's much more expensive now?
I donât know. The cost of living in general has gone up since then.
25. What's a weird thing you are scared of?
Iâve been told my fear of killer whales is weird. Like, I donât even want to see a picture of one. I canât look at one on TV. Just... NO.
26. What is a question you are immediately asked when you tell someone what you do for work?
Sigh. I donât have a job, thanks for continuing to rub that in. Sheesh.
27. What is something you were once embarrassed by that you now not only accept but actually embrace?
Ha, nothing. I get embarrassed easily, and I canât think of anything that I actually accept and embrace that I find embarrassing.
28. How is life different for you today compared to yesterday?
Are you referring to the past as yesterday, like the distant past, or do you literally mean yesterday? Cause nothing at all has changed since yesterday. If you mean the distant past, a lot has changed. My life, my health... and not for the better.
