Not your fault Pt.2
Paige bueckers x pregnant!reader
Warnings: it's just super cringe and cutesy !
Synopsis: just mini scenarios of you being pregnant with Paige's baby and your massive pregnancy craving of cake
“that can’t be comfortable,” Paige shivered, looking at my sleeping position on the bed.
“please.. just shut up,” you groan, as that was the only position you felt comfortable in.
“the doctor said-“ she started and you cut her off.
“paige. i haven’t gotten any sleep for two weeks, this is the most comfortable position i have, don’t take it from me, i don’t give a fuck about what the doctor said.” You sat up, your head pounding.
“woah-hey, i’m sorry, okay? i didn’t mean to upset you,” she cooed, kneeling down in front of you. she caressed the side of your face gently.
“can we get cake..?” You mumble, looking at her doe eyed.
“but we had cake- actually, i was thinking the same thing,” She stood up, taking her car keys out of her pocket. “No crying while i’m gone, don’t wanna stress the baby.”
“okayy, just go get the cake,” you whined, laying back down on the bed. Paige physically recoiled at the sight of your laying position.
“can’t be comfortable..” she grumbles as she walks out of your shared bedroom.
┌──❀*̥˚───❀*̥˚─┐
Kk and Ice were hanging out at you and paige’s apartment, you we’re out with Paige’s mom.
“Wait paige, i have something to show you,” Ice said, grabbing her phone.
“What? like a photo?” She peered over Ice’s shoulder.
“Y/n’s gonna kill you,” Kk looks at Ice, paige quickly turns her head in Kk’s direction.
“what about my girl?” Paige asks confused.
“okay, y’know yesterday after practice when you took a shower,” Ice starts, and Paige nods.
“What does this have to do with y/n?”
“Everything,” Kk explains, putting a hand on Paige’s shoulder.
“Tell me why, she pulled out a slice of cake out of her purse when you were in the shower, plate, spoon and everything,” Ice says, looking Paige in the eye and shows her the photo.
“I asked her for a piece and she pulled out another slice” Kk said completely flabbergasted, Paige shook her head.
“she’s addicted, i’m trying to limit her to one slice of cake a week, that obviously isn’t working,” Paige groaned.
“Why don’t you tell her doctor?” Ice asked.
“the other day she told me fuck the doctor, she’s so mean to me.” Paige huffed, rubbing her forehead. You walked inside, multiple shopping bags in hand.
“hi,” You say softly, they all turned around. Paige stood up, grabbing the bags from yours hands.
“we need to talk later,” her tone a little rough.
“about?” you asked, taking your crocs off (YOU HAVE SOCKS ON). Kk tried to swallow her laughter as Ice snicked.
“you’ll see,” She walks away to your shared bedroom with your bags.
“you guys snitched, didn’t you?” A light pout displayed on your lips when you asked the two basketball players.
“Ice did it!” Kk pointed the finger.
“it was a joint thing, it’s for your safety anyway,” Ice rolled her eyes. you huffed as you walked to the bedroom.
She was sitting on the bed, scrolling on her phone, jaw clenched. you sat down next to her.
“it was just one slice,” you mumble softly, leaning your head on the taller girl’s shoulder. she shut her phone off.
“it’s not about the stupid cake, i don’t like the fact that you’re keeping secrets from me and lying to me,” She sighed.
“m’sorry… no more secrets or lying, and no more cake,” you look up at her.
Paige was clearly skeptical from the fact that you said ‘no more cake’, “really?”
“i tried to eat some today at the mall, but it made me feel sick,” you admit.
“what am i going to do with you,”
┌──❀*̥˚───❀*̥˚─┐
“i kinda like the weight you’re putting on,” her hands falling to your butt, giving it a light squeeze.
“are you calling me fat?” You questioned.
“no-never, like plumper in some areas more than others,” she smirked.
┌──❀*̥˚───❀*̥˚─┐
“PAIGE!” You squealed from the living room and you hear her heavy footsteps rush towards you.
“what happened? you okay?” she asks completely worried, lifting up your arm examining your body.
“i’m okay, look,” you say excitedly, Billie Eilish followed you back on instagram and commented on your last post. Paige grabbed your phone, brows furrowed.
“what the..” she muttered under her breath.
“she called me pretty-“
“i can see that, does she know you’re wifed up?”
“you’re in my bio, i think she knows, she’s just complimenting me.” you say squealing again.
“so you’re fan-girling over another girl?”
“she’s not just any girl, she Billie Eilish and I love her music. plus my bump looks good in photo,” you say softly.
“she probably has a thing for pregnant girls in bikinis,” Paige hands me back my phone.
Later that night Billie unfollowed and deleted her comment.

Berry Ball fiasco
Kya, throwing stuff out her locker: Where is it?!
Ursa: Uh looking for something?
Kya: Yes! Do you have it?
Ursa: You mean right here in my pocket?
Kya: Yes!
Ursa: No I'm just messing with you. I have no idea what we're talking about.
Kya: Ugh! I just spent the last 10 minutes ripping apart my locker for a 5 dollar bill I know I left in there!
Ursa: Hey it's just 5 dollars. No big deal.
Kya: It's a huge deal! I'm broke. I need money!
Ursa: For what?
Kya: Lots of things. Clothes, make up, special cheese, Painted Lady collectable figurines-
Ursa: Wait, why do you need special cheese?
Kya: You know I don't like regular cheese!
Ursa: Okay wanna make some money?
Kya: Yes! Maybe? How???
Ursa: Cactus juice powder.
Kya: *gasps*
Ursa: I'm kidding! My part time job at the Yogurt Joint is launching a new theme called Frozen Berry balls and my boss is looking for someone to work this Saturday. You know, hand out free samples and get people pumped up.
Kya: I can get people pumped up for Berry Balls!
Ursa: So you're in?
Kya: Yes I'm in!
Ursa: She's in!
Kya: But wait.
Ursa: She waits!
Kya: We have to perform at the concert this Saturday.
Ursa: No problem. We'll be done by 8 and ready for the show at 9.
Kya: Ok! Tell your boss they got themselves a Berry Ball girl!
___
[At the Yogurt Joint]
Kya, sneaking up on Ursa working at the counter: Hey kid where's my stupid yogurt?!
Ursa: Hey what's up little coworker!
Kya: Just ready to get start!
Ursa: Great. Aunt Wu will be here soon.
Kya, eating the toppings: Mmm what's this?
Ursa: Coconut shavings.
Kya: And this?
Ursa: Cookie crumbs.
Kya: Ohh! And what's this white stuff?
Ursa: That's what we use to clean the counter!
Kya: *chokes*
Aunt Wu: Hello ladies.... What's she doing?
Ursa: Uh, she ate some counter cleanser and now she's spitting it out.
Kya, still choking: Nice... to meet... you...
Aunt Wu: In the future, I'd appreciate if you don't choke and gag in front of the costumers.
Ursa: It's her first time eating cleanser.
Aunt Wu: Regardless, Kya today you will be giving away 1000 Berry Balls to mall costumers as they pass by. *sets up trays*
Kya: Why do they have green afros?
Aunt Wu: That's green cotton candy.
Ursa: What flavor is that?
Aunt Wu: Green.
Kya, under her breath: Cactus juice...
Aunt Wu: Now go put on your costume.
Kya: Uh sure thing. *gives Ursa a confused look*
Ursa: *shrugs*
___
Kya: *Walks out wearing a puffy green costume with a top hat*
Aunt Wu: Wonderful! What do you think Ursa dear?
Ursa: Uh...
Kya: *shakes head*
Ursa: Well, don't you think it's a bit... hideous?
Aunt Wu: How dare you! I designed it myself!
Ursa: Oh! I...um...
Kya: See these days teens say hideous when something's awesome.
Ursa: Yes like bad means good.
Aunt Wu: Oh. I see.
Aunt Wu: Ah, here come my niece. She just got braces so everyone be nice.
June: Hi Auntie.
Aunt Wu: Hello dear. How was the dentist?
June: Fine I guess. Do they look weird?
Aunt Wu: You look hideous! Don't you two think so? *winks at Kya and Ursa*
Kya, cringing: Y-Yep.
Ursa: Sure do...
June: *Cries*
Aunt Wu, leading her away: Oh sweetie. Let's go buy you some new pants.
Ursa: Well now that we've destroyed a young girl's self esteem-
Kya, sighing: Guess it's time to hand out these berry balls. 1000 to go!
Ursa, finger guns: 1000 to go!
Kya: Hey kids! Yogurt is offering free berry ball samples! Take as many as you want!
Kid: They look disgusting!
Other kid: And so do you!
Kya: *looks at Ursa shocked*
Ursa: 1000 to go!
[Later]
Ursa: If we don't leave now, we'll miss the concert.
Kya: No problem *shows empty tray* Ta-dah!
Ursa: You got rid of all 1000 berry balls?!
Kya: Yep!
Ursa: Did you throw them away?
Kya: No. *glances around* They’re in my hat!
Ursa: In you hat?!
Kya: Yeah! Let's go before-
Aunt Wu: Ladies! Oh did you give away all 1000 berry balls?
Kya: Yes ma'am.
Aunt Wu: Well done. Let me pay you now.
Kya: Oh you don't have to-
Aunt Wu, writing a check: I insist! You did your job and deserve payment.
*Berry balls start melting in Kya’s hat and running down her face*
Ursa and Kya: !!!
Ursa: *frantically wipes Kya's face behind Aunt Wu's back*
Aunt Wu: 100$ for Kya Kaji. Is that spelled with an i or an y...?
Ursa and Kya: *fake smile*
Aunt Wu: What’s happening?
Kya: Uh...
Ursa: She’s crying!
Kya, dramatic: I-I'm just so happy to be getting $100!
Ursa: That her mascara is running!
Kya: *sobs*
Aunt Wu:
Aunt Wu: How much mascara are you wearing?!
Ursa: Oh my! I better take her to the mascara doctor asap! *picks Kya up and runs off*
Kya, still fake crying: My emotions!!!

In Need of a Breath
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Avenger!Reader
Word Count: 4007
Warnings: !FATWS SPOILERS!, Cursing, Zemo, Feelings, Another PTSD Flashback
A/N: So…Part 4 is going to have a couple parts to it. Maybe even three. I didn’t even make it half way through the episode on this one, mainly because I really wanted to fit in the Reader’s backstory and I wanted her and Sam to have a heart-to-heart again. I’m suuuuper tired, so I probably won’t be posting the next part for another few hours (it’s 5 am right now and I haven’t slept), BUT it’s my day off work and I won’t be doing anything I planned because my grandmother had a stroke a couple days ago so plans have changed and I’m staying in to help her, meaning I’ll mostly be writing all day.
This Part is kind of a mix between off-screen and shot-by-shots, but it’s mostly off screen/what’s going on inside Reader’s head.
I’m really excited about future parts and the characters that are being introduced! I will say that after these parts, I will be doing one shots of previous MCU movies with the Reader, due to the information that is being given about the Reader now. You kind of see more of how she was affected/how she affected the previous MCU movies and what she was doing during that time.
Like always, this hasn’t been beta’d, again it’s SUPER early in the morning, and I’m really tired, so please excuse any mistakes! I hope you guys enjoy this part! Stay tuned for more to come later today!

!SPOILERS UNDER CUT!
“You know…I’m really starting to regret saying yes to this.” You huffed out, craning your neck and squinting your eyes against the sun as you stare at the facility in front of you, hating the skin-crawling feeling of being back.
“Would you relax? Whenever you’re nervous, I get nervous, and I don’t wanna be nervous about this.” Sam shifted his weight from one foot to the other.
“Do either of you have a better plan?” Bucky grumbled, crossing his arms.
Gnawing on your lips, you finally take the lead and breathe out, “alright. Let’s go then.” You could feel the hesitance from your - what were they? Partners? Coworkers? Teammates? - the fellas before they started after you.
There was a sick twist in your gut as you entered the building, going through the lobby and security.
You had been there.
You had been there when Zemo impersonated Bucky. You had been there when Zemo unleashed the Winter Soldier at the Joint Counter Terrorist Centre Building in Berlin. You had been there during the battle at the airport. You had been there when Zemo turned Tony and Steve against each other in Siberia. You had been there when Zemo tore the Avengers from the inside out. Your family. The only family you’d ever known.
But you’d always been good about pushing your personal feelings aside for the sake of the mission. It’s what you’d been born to do. All you ever knew.
“Hey. Doll. You hear me?”
“Hmm. What?” You looked up from the ground to look into those enchanting blue oceans Bucky had for eyes, staring worriedly down at you, eyebrows pinched and forehead creased.
“I’m going in alone.” You frowned, opening your mouth to argue, but he shook his head. “Sam already agreed-”
“I didn’t necessarily agree-”
“You’re an Avenger, sweetheart.” Bucky tilted his head, speaking softly, those eyes of his worried. Worried for you. It made your stomach flip. “And you were there in Siberia, and that almost makes it worse. Especially considering you went after him. Just…just let me do this, okay?”
You cracked your knuckles nervously as you thought. It was a terrible idea. But it was an idea. And it was all they had. “Okay.” You finally relented, shrugging as your hands hit your thighs and slid up to your hips. “But don’t do anything stupid.”
“Steve took all that with him.”
Knowing about their little inside joke, you scoffed. “Sure he did. Go before I change my mind.”
You watched him walk down the hallway, hands fidgeting with excess nerves. “I think you’re the only one he actually seeks approval from.”
“Good thing I’m so lenient then, huh?” You joked, turning to Sam with a strained smile. Your smile slipped at the curious expression on Sam’s face, his eyes darting to each of your features. “What?”
“Are you doing okay?”
You groaned, throwing your head back. You thought you got out of talking about your feelings back in Baltimore. “Oh my God, Sam-”
“I’m serious. You…you just don’t seem like yourself.”
You shook your head, looking down the hall to where Bucky disappeared before turning back to him. It was weird to have a self that people recognized. Your whole life you’d been searching for it and when you finally found it…everything went to shit. “Honestly, Sammy, the only time Ive ever felt like myself was with the team. Zemo took that away from me and now we’re here, practically begging him for help.”
Sam hummed, leaning against the wall. “Have you thought of taking a break?”
“What?”
“A break.” At your bewildered look, he rolled his eyes. “Cher, this time last year most of us were dead. This time a few months ago you found out about Wanda. This time last week you were out looking for her. Maybe you should just stop and take a breather.”
Shoving your hands in your pocket and looking at the floor, you couldn’t help but snort at his advice. “I haven’t taken a breather since I was eighteen.”
He clicked his tongue. “That’s my point. FBI academy as soon as you graduated. SHIELD recruit by 21, undercover operations leader by 24? Slow down. You’re in your thirties. Next thing you know, you’re gonna be ninety something, lying on your deathbed, wishing you had stopped to smell the roses.”
“If I live to be ninety, shoot me.” He chuckled in amusement. “I’m so fucking serious, Sam. I will not be put in an old folks home to play Bingo and be pushed around in a wheelchair. It ain’t happening.”
“I’ll see what I can do.” There was that infectious smile, which you unconsciously grinned back at. “Y/N…I’m serious. You’ve been in and out of missions since you were a teenager. What’s the shortest undercover operation you’ve done?”
“I dunno.”
He gave you an unimpressed look. “Yeah you do.”
Licking your lips, you turned away and shrugged. “A couple months. Seven weeks and three days, to be precise. September to October in 2012.”
“And the longest?”
“August 2007 to May 2009. Twenty one months.”
Letting out a puff of air through his nose, Sam pushed himself off the wall and caught your chin between his fingers to make you look at him. “That’s nearly two years under cover. And I’m sure you went right back under after-”
“I was sitting at a desk for four months doing paperwork on it.” You defended yourself.
He shook his head, brows knitting together, lips drawn down. “You say that as if four months is enough time.”
“It doesn’t matter anymore, Sammy. I’m out. I’ve been out since Ultron and Sokovia. I haven’t been under in almost a decade-”
“A decade half the world was dead for half of-”
“I wasn’t!”
“I never said you were.” Sam sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. You were always amazed at his ability to keep his emotions in check. To stay cool under pressure. Sometimes you forgot how experienced he was with dealing with other people’s trauma. It was no wonder why Steve thought he’d be good for Bucky. “Listen. All I’m saying is once this is done…don’t go diving back into searching for Wanda. Don’t go running to the kid every time he calls - and I know you’ve been doing that-”
“It’s just been homework and stuff-”
“Y/N.” You stopped, biting your lip at the stern look he gave you. “Go home. Order take out. Binge watch TV. Go for a jog through the park. Actually meet your neighbors. Go grocery shopping. Just…live. If only for a couple weeks. Don’t worry about anyone else. Don’t pick up the phone, don’t drop everything because someone needs you. You need you.”
“I-I…” You shook your head, looking at him, sincerely apologetic. “I can’t. I wish I could. But I can’t. I’ve never had one normal day in my life. I’ve never had someone to care for, never had someone to care for me. I can’t let people I’ve come to…I can’t let them think I don’t care. I don’t even know where I’d go.”
“Whaddya mean?”
You winced, not thrilled for his reaction to your next statement. “I, uh, I sold my apartment in D.C.”
He gaped at you in complete disbelief. “You got it in December!”
“I know, I know. I liked it. I really did, but…I dunno. Nomadic life has always suited me better. It’s what I grew up with.”
He took a breath, making you cringe again. You don’t think you’ve ever legitimately gotten on his nerves like this before. “Have you ever thought that, instead of going with the flow and jumping place to place, putting down roots might actually help?” He cut you off before you could say anything, holding up a finger to stop you from talking. “I can’t imagine going from foster home to foster home like you did. I can’t imagine not having a home for as long as you can remember. Louisiana’s my home. Always has, always will be. But I understand your life has been anything but stable. And maybe, just maybe, that’s why you need some stability.”
You clenched your jaw, crossing your arms. “The Avengers were my stability. Steve was my stability.”
“Because you loved him.”
“I’m not doing this with you again.” You turned to walk down to the lobby to wait for Bucky there, but Sam caught your arm.
“You were in love with him! It’s okay! You two were super close! No one would blame you! Why won’t you just admit it? I’m trying to understand! Why won’t you-”
You tugged your arm away, finally snapping at him. “Because he could never be mine, Wilson! Is that what you wanna hear?!” Sam took a step back at your exclamation. You closed your eyes, swallowing the lump in your throat and pushing down the tears. “He could preach all he wanted about moving forwards, Sammy, but we all knew he was stuck in the past. He visited the museum every Thursday because her interview showed in his exhibit on Thursdays. He carried around that broken compass because her picture was in it.” You looked back up at him sadly, shrugging. “And I get it; it’s hard to move past your first love. I get it because…that’s what he was to me.”
There was a silence that blanketed the hallway, before he spoke up hesitantly. “What about Bucky?”
“I thought - I thought I was projecting my feelings for Steve onto him because I knew Steve couldn’t ever…”
Sam raised an eyebrow. “You thought? What do you think now?”
You cleared your throat. “I’m still figuring that one out.”
“If you ever need to talk, I’ll be here.”
You chuckled, nodding slightly towards him. “Back atcha. Don’t think I haven’t noticed you not being yourself lately, either.”
“It’s…a tough topic.”
You nodded in understanding. “Just know that I’ll support every decision you make as long as you think it’s the right one. Because I trust you. Steve trusted you. It’s all we can do to try to do what’s right. That’s what makes you a good man, Sammy. He gave you that shield for a reason, and if you think what you did was right…I’ll stand by it.”
The two of you stared at each other for a moment, calming down in each other’s presences and taking comfort knowing you’d be there for each other through thick and thin. “Thank you, cher.”
“Of course, Sammy. Now let’s go see what’s taking the old grump so long.”
He laughed at that, nodding in agreement, taking your offered hand and squeezing it as you made your way down the hall.
****************
“What?”
Bucky eyed you as you spluttered, coughing on the water you were drinking. “Please don’t choke, doll.”
“Break him out of jail?!” You repeated his words and blinked at him, absolutely baffled by his plan. “Oh my God.” You groaned as Bucky and Sam started arguing, moving your flashlight around the room. “Where the hell are we?” There was no response as they kept going back and forth.
“Zemo’s gonna mess with our minds! Especially yours! No offense.”
“Heelllloooo!” You tried again. “Where the hell are we?!”
Bucky turned on the lights, giving Sam a look. “Offense.” Glancing at you he quirked an eyebrow. “Stop worrying your pretty lil’ head, sweetheart. You trust me, dontcha?” Your breath hitched at his words. You quickly recovered, huffing and pouting - although you’d deny ever pouting - and crossing your arms. You stood between the guys like that, eyes darting to whoever was speaking, waiting for them to stop so you could actually think.
“Look. Let me just walk you through a hypothetical. Can I walk you through a hypothetical?”
You and Sam exchanged glances. “What did you do?”
“I…didn’t do…anything.” Bucky shrugged.
“How is it that you, one of the most deadliest assassins basically ever, are one of the worst liars I know.” You tilted your head at him, an eyebrow quirking up in confusion.
“Shush it you. Just, okay. The weakest point in any system isn’t the software, the hardware, it’s the meatware. The human element.”
The more you listened to Bucky’s “hypothetical”, the stronger the gut feeling telling you this was a terrible terrible idea got. You brought your hands up to your head, eyes wide as he spoke.
“I don’t like how casual you’re bein’ about this. This is unnatural.”
You couldn’t help but agree with Sam’s words, your head falling back and your eyes closing. “Sweet Jesus. Listen, God, I know we don’t talk much these days, but please, please don’t let this not be a hypothetical. I’m fucking begging you.”
A noise to your right made your head snap over. “Oh hell to the fucking no!” You shook your head as Zemo himself walked in, wearing a prison guards uniform. “Uh-uh! No way! Bucky, this was not part of the plan!”
“What did you do?!”
“We need him!”
“You’re going back to prison.”
“If I may-”
All three of you faced him, simultaneously shouting, “no!”
You held your face in your hands as your head dropped, shaking back and forth, your eyes squeezing shut, tuning them out for just a minute to think. Bucky had a point. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that, and the Avengers were technically disbanded, which was Zemo’s whole objective in the first place, but…God. You were good at compartmentalizing, but not that much. You were willing to put your feelings aside for the mission so Bucky could talk to him. Not for you to work with him. But he had connections, you knew he did, and he had information…
“Doll?” You looked up, Bucky anxiously licking his lips as he met your gaze. “I need you to say something.”
You looked to Sam, who shrugged, gesturing to Zemo. “What do you think?”
What did you think? What did you think?! You thought that it was the worst idea in the history of ideas and you should turn back and find another way! But…you knew this was the fastest, probably most reliable way to get information that you needed.
Dammit, since when were you the deciding factor?
You sucked in a breath, looking over Sam’s shoulder at Zemo, who lifted his hand in greeting. You raised your eyes to the ceiling, pointing your finger accusingly. “This is why we stopped talking.” Gaze dropping to the still waiting fellas, you gnawed on your lip, before hissing out, “ffffine…” Running a hand through your hair, you threw your hands up as you shrugged. “Fine. Okay. Fine.”
“Okay.” Sam nodded, taking charge again.
You couldn’t believe this was happening. Except, that was a lie. You could. You’d seen weirder. You’d experienced the impossible. Lived through the unbelievable. This…this was completely imaginable.
Which is why, with a lot of hesitation and very little confidence in this plan, you followed Zemo through the auto shop you were in until you reached a large room with a ton of different old cars.
Bucky’s hand found yours as Zemo explained what the plan was, rather vaguely, in your opinion, but at least he was explaining. Point for him. Not that it would make up for the level of distrust you held for him, but it was something.
You looked up at him, giving him a puzzling frown. He usually only grabbed your hand in front of other people when he was feeling anxious. Which, yeah, he had a right to be anxious right now, but it wasn’t the right kind. The type of anxiety caused by large crowds and loud noises, ones that startled him and threw him into a defensive mode.
But the look on his face made you squeeze his hand in reassurance. He was pouting, staring at you although he did something wrong - a puppy that tore up a pillow - and all you wanted to do was give him a hug.
“You’re mad at me.” He mumbled as the four of you headed out with Zemo in the lead.
“No I’m not.”
“Yeah you are.
“Bucky, I’m not mad.”
“Listen, if I had a better idea I wouldn’t-”
You brought your linked hands up to your lips, pressing a gentle kiss to his gloved knuckles. “I’m not mad.” You repeated more firmly. “It’s just…a lot for me, right now.”
“Why? What’s going on?”
“Nothing’s going on, Buck, I-I just…” You thought about your and Sam’s earlier conversation and suddenly understood what he meant. “I need to breathe for a second.”
His features twisted into ones of uncertainty, eyes squinting as you stepped outside. “Do you…do you wanna leave?”
You shook your head, tugging his arm to stop him and grabbing the sunglasses on his collar, slipping them over his eyes. “No. I just need some time to think. Hopefully the plane ride to wherever the hell we’re going will give me that.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, James. I’m sure.”
He lowered the glasses on his nose to scan you over the frames, before nodding and sliding them back up. “Okay. You ready for this, then?”
“No.” You breathed, turning back to where Zemo and Sam were still walking. “Let’s do this.”
*****************
Climbing onto the private jet, you raised an eyebrow at Sam, who shrugged, giving you a bemused expression. A Baron…huh…who knew? You feel like you should’ve, yet there you were.
You sat besides Bucky, across from Zemo, crossing your legs and leaning back while staring at him through narrowed eyes.
His butler seemed nice, which made you even more suspicious. You obviously didn’t know as much about Zemo as you wanted to. It was a habit you picked up after years of undercover work; once the mission was complete, that was that. There was no looking back on it. No sitting on it. It was over and you moved onto the next one. It was a bad habit in cases like this.
The moment you spotted the notebook over Zemo’s book you knew something was going to happen, yet you still flinched when Bucky lunged at him, grabbing his throat. You leaned back in your seat again, steadying your now racing heartbeat. You decided you were too tense, trying to relax your muscles as Bucky sat back down in his seat.
“I’ve seen that book. It was Steve’s when he came out of the ice. I told him about Trouble Man. He wrote it in that book.” Sam seemed so proud of himself that something he recommended was written in Steve’s little book and it made you smile.
You remembered that; Steve and you were supposed to meet up for coffee after his run, but Fury called him in so you rescheduled it for when he got back. He asked you about Marvin Gaye. For your opinion. You told him to check it out and make his own.
You remembered asking him about that little notebook of his, and he just shrugged you off telling you about his list. He would read items off to you, but he never let you read the book yourself. You never found out why, and you supposed you never would now. The thought made an ache behind your ribs that you’d come to familiarize yourself with appear.
You smiled a little more as Zemo and Sam told Bucky how awesome Marvin Gaye was. “C’mon, baby. Back me up.”
Chuckling, you looked at Bucky. “They’re not wrong. But,” you quickly added before Bucky could whine at you, facing Sam again. “Neither is Buck. I mean, c’mon. You can’t find music like the 40’s anymore. Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Benny Goodman, Fred Astaire. Ol’ Blue Eyes himself.”
“Thank you.” Bucky grinned at Sam, who rolled his eyes.
“Okay, okay. But, I mean, c’mon! Everybody loves Marvin Gaye.”
“I like Marvin Gaye.”
“Steve adored Marvin Gaye.”
Your face fell as Zemo started talking about Steve and icons and Red Skull, your mind once again slipping away from reality.
~
“Kids love you.” You giggled as you finally made it out of his exhibit. You’d wanted to show it to him since he moved to D.C., and you’d finally got an opportunity after coming back from being undercover for ten weeks. “You’re their hero, you know.”
“Yeah, well, I’m just trying to do what’s right.”
You nudged him, scoffing at his answer. “You’re too humble. You’re a national icon, you know.”
Steve shrugged, looking around the museum at the planes surrounding them. “I never wanted to be.”
“Why not? Everyone loves you.”
“I’m sure not everyone loves me.” He rolled his eyes. “And…I just wanted to help. To fight. Protect my country and the people I cared about. I-I didn’t ask for…all that.” He waved behind his shoulder where his exhibit was getting smaller with each step they took away. “People were dying. Bullies were winning.”
You shook your head, spinning and walking backwards besides him to face him. “Sure, but you did that. And you became someone people could look up to in the process.”
He narrowed his eyes at you before asking, “why do you do what you do?”
“...because I’m good at it?”
“Honey.” He gave you a look. “Answer the question.”
You hummed in thought. “Because I couldn’t stand by, knowing there would be orphaned kids if I didn’t help any way I could.”
“Alright. Why do you do it in the dark?”
“Whaddya mean?”
He shrugged. “Why don’t you come out and take credit for all the lives you’ve saved?”
“Because that’s not why I do it. I don’t want that attention. I just want to know I’ve helped people. I’ve kept them safe.”
He gave you a soft smile. “I just wanted to beat the bully. I never wanted to be a dancing monkey, too.” You looked at him in a new light then, understanding where he was coming from. “Watch out, honey!” He grabbed you and pulled you aside before you could crash into a wall, arms wrapped firmly around your waist. He gave you that charming smile of his. “Wouldn’t want you hurting that pretty lil’ head of yours, now would we?”
~
“Y/N!”
You snapped back into the conversation, moving your eyes from the window to Bucky, who tilted his head, eyebrows pinched and eyes narrowed. “Sorry. So, Madripoor. That’s a fun place.”
You ignored the side eyed glances Bucky and Sam exchanged, Sam turning to you curiously. “You’ve been?”
“Once. Back in 2010 for a few months”
Zemo raised his eyebrows. “You’re lucky to have gotten out.”
You shrugged nonchalantly. “Lucky, maybe. Skills were a part of it, too, though.”
“Good.” Zemo nodded. “Because we’re going undercover…and if we blow it. We’re dead.”
You breathed out, shaking your memory away and getting your head back into the game. Because like the man you were severely wary of in front of you said, if you blew this, you were dead. And, sure, you didn’t want to live until ninety, but you weren’t even half way there yet. So dammit if you were going to die soon.
“Hey.” You looked over at Bucky’s murmur, his head tilting as he grabbed your hand and pulled you from your seat closer to him. “Are you okay?”
“Yeah. I’m fine. Are you okay? You know you’re going to have to be-”
“I know.” He nodded. You watched his Adam’s Apple bob as he swallowed thickly. “I’ll be fine. Just…tell me right now if you need to step out for this one.”
You gave him a smile that you knew he didn’t buy, just by the slight narrowing of his eye, his lips pressing together. “No. No, I’m good for this. If you think I’m gonna let you two idiots go into Madripoor with him - alone - oil that cyborg brain of yours, because there’s no way.”
He squeezed your hand, eyes still filled with uncertainty. “Are you sure?”
“If there’s even a slight possibility that I can protect you, then yeah. I’m sure, Buckaroo.”

Things the aot characters would match with u ?
Eren
Sneakers. It makes him somewhat giddy when you guys wear them at the same time, particularly if it was unplanned.
He just thinks they look nice, and it’s something that you guys can match with that doesn’t look completely obvious or cringe. You can wear them at the same time or on your own, but for Eren it’s really just knowing that you’re wearing something he bought you.
Not matching matching per se, but one of my favorite things to think about is Eren having his key necklace, and buying you one with a lock on it. Again, matching but not over the top.
Jean
Maybe simple jewelry? Like plain, gold or silver bracelets/rings—nothing too much, but you guys still know it’s there. Watches might be a bigger splurge, but he’s willing to do it, especially if they’re nice and classy.
Once he knows you’re okay with jewelry, you’ve gotta be careful with him. He’ll ice you out if you don’t stop him. He has a sorta refined taste where you’ll get something, and think “Hey, this is really nice,” and then boom, the price tag could pay for your courses for a semester.
Other little things like matching/coordinating phone cases, you guys each having mugs from the same place, even little charms on your keychains that match together.
Water bottles. This was more so him buying you one (and yes, it was an overpriced Hydroflask) to make sure you’re drinking enough water. If you don’t think he’ll force feed it to you if he notices that your bottle is heavy, then you thought wrong.
Levi
Lots of the things are pretty practical, and are the result of Levi buying it for you because he thought you needed it, or needed a better version of it; so, in a way, it’s not intended to match, but because he buys what he already has and knows works, you end up with a copy, so inadvertent matching 😌
For example, he’ll buy you mittens or gloves if you don’t have any, or if he thinks the ones you have are shit and need better insulation. They happen to be the same ones he has because he knows those work, so now you’re matching. Same goes for things like lunch boxes, water bottles, even the towels in your apartment.
Plants. Again, he probably intervened saying you need some source of fresh air in your house, or something smart like that. If you don’t have a green thumb, don’t worry because he’s practically taking care of it for you. Occasionally he’ll note how your plant is doing in comparison to his and it’s pretty cute to hear his little plant parent rambles while he’s watering them.
Matching aprons. It’s cute, don’t let him tell you otherwise; and if he does, you know he’s fronting, because he always wears his when he’s cooking, anyway.
Connie
Tattoos if you’re down for it. It can be as simple or stupid or extravagant as you want, you honestly have full control over the design even tho it’s going on his body please. He doesn’t care—he trusts you, and he wants to match with you, so whatever you want, wherever you want it!
Sneakers for him too, but I think he’d go as far as to have matching/coordinating outfits with you. Particularly sweats and crew necks and hoodies, and if you guys are traveling together, then you’re more than likely matching at the airport.
He probably put some stupid sticker or decal on your car that you’re stuck with now. Good luck. He put the same shit on his so at least you can look dumb together.
Armin
Stickers, whether it be on your laptop or phone case or water bottle or even just in your room; he’s got one and you’ve got one.
Stuffed animals. He has a lot that he just buys for you, but you guys go on a Build-a-Bear date and make bears of each other at some point, and it’s kinda cute. He keeps his on a shelf close to his bed so it’s safe and sound.
Stationary, like pencil cases and pens and such. They don’t have to be fancy with your initials engraved at the top, but you guys buy them in sets of 2 so you have the same stuff, and get cases to store everything that match, too.
Porco
Something cute that you put in his car that he doesn’t have the heart to remove, no matter how much he bitches about it. Like those little sticky rubber ducks with the glasses that go on your dash.
Gym bags. Yes, he’s a gym bro. No, he doesn’t care if you’re not. Allegedly they were “two for one” at the Adidas outlet, so now you’ve got one. It can double as a duffle bag if you’re not getting any practical gym use of it.
You could probably get him to wear matching rings as long as they’re not too obvious; just a simple gold band is really the furthest he’ll go (he never takes it off, but don’t point it out or he’ll chuck it at you).
Mikasa
Some kind of accessory—bracelets, hats, necklaces, scarves. She’s into that kinda stuff, just don’t make a big deal of it when you’re in public or she’ll get embarrassed please.
Pins. You’ve got one on your jacket and she’s got one on her book bag or something. Again, they don’t have to be identical; you can get two different Pokémon, or references to a show you both like.
Lipstick. You don’t have to both wear it at the same time, but it’s still something sweet to have.
Sasha
Charm bracelets! The charms themselves don’t all have to be identical (tho at least one of them would be), but just the fact that you guys both have them and are collecting charms at a similar rate is cute.
Definitely matching cups or mugs or something of the like. Kitchen towels with the same pattern or each other’s initials on them. Matching shot glasses, too, obviously.
Your home/lock screens match, too. Pictures of each other from the same day or of the same scenery or something. She always lets you know when she’s gonna change hers so you can change yours too.
Annie
Hoodies. They can be solid colored, or two if the same ones just in different colors. Hoodies are kind of her go-to look, and nothing that draw too much attention anyways; so she doesn’t mind having the same one as you.
Backpacks. Again, they don’t have to be exactly the same and can be relatively simple in design; and is something most people have anyway, so it’s not outlandish. She seems like a Kanken kinda girl, so you both can have one in different colors.
Pieck
Jewelry. Strikes me as the type to be okay with getting each other’s initials on necklaces or earrings or something, but it could also be more covert like having each other’s birthstones on a pendant.
Speaking of stones, you’re getting crystals whether you like it or not. They will be on your nightstand, they will be in your car, they will be in your jacket pocket, they might even be in your bra and don’t ask her how she got them there without you knowing. They’re in hers too if that makes you feel any better.
Hange
Jackets or sweaters. Wanna say matching cardigans in particular, and yeah, they’re pretty ugly but that’s the point! To bask ironically in the pointed ugliness of them all so much that it becomes cute to you.
Snow globes. Hange is obsessed with them, whenever you travel they collect one and sometimes even if they just pass a store at home and see two unique (translation: weird looking) ones, they’ll pick them up. So, congrats.
Socks with funky patterns on them. Beer bottles, weed plants, zodiac signs, dinosaurs—whatever Hange buys, they buy in packs of two so at least you’ll never run out of ankle socks.

teenage dirtbag [one] // wanda maximoff
summary: when you're paired with the most popular girl in your grade for Chemistry class, you definitely don't expect to start liking her like that...
warning/s: none i don't think??
author's note: okay so i have a ton of requests to work through but i got sidetracked and before i knew it, five parts of this imagine were written.
It's based off the song 'Teenage Dirtbag' and idk, i thought it was cute to write! Who doesn't love the popular girl!wanda and loner!reader concept?
Here’s a cover of the song to listen to because i really liked it and a girl sings it so it immediately made the song 10x more gay, just how i like it 🥰
masterlist | wattpad | part two | part three | part four | part five
"Are you all comfortable?"
The class stayed silent, watching our Chemistry teacher, Mr. Hale, as he looked to everyone with a raised brow.
"You all like who you're sat with?" he asked again, as if expecting an actual response from someone.
I exchanged questioning glances with my best friend, Y/BF/N, who was sat beside me. It was the first day back in Chemistry class of our final year of high school and we were just waiting to begin.
"Anyone?" he asked, looking around.
"Yeah," a few students mumbled in response so we could move on.
He clapped his hands together. "Great! Well, don't get too comfortable because I made a seating chart."
A chorus of groans erupted from the class, including from me and Y/BF/N. Every other class had successfully managed to not give us a seating chart. I'd heard that Mr. Hale was an awkward teacher who hated students (ironically), but I didn't think he'd stoop so low as to pair us with students who weren't our friends. These new seats were also our partners for the rest of the year and were non-negotiable, so any projects or work we did would have to be with our seat buddy. Fun.
Students began to shuffle to their newly-assigned seats reluctantly as Mr. Hale read out the chart. When Y/BF/N left my side, I frowned dramatically, waving goodbye to him.
"Wanda Maximoff, you're now partners with Y/N Y/L/N," said Mr. Hale, making me look up at the mention of my name.
I didn't get chance to register what he'd said as the aforementioned girl soon approached me, settling her bag on the table beside me. I looked up and saw Wanda Maximoff smiling my way before taking a seat on the stool.
Huh. Wanda Maximoff. She was one of the most popular girls in our grade. Everybody loved her, either wanting to be friends with her, be with her or be her. I'd personally never crossed paths with her apart from the few classes we shared. She seemed nice enough, but I guess I had preconceived notions of what she was like since she'd made the very poor decision to date the most obnoxious guy ever. Anyone making decisions that terrible definitely had a flaw.
She had a twin brother, Pietro, who was also in our grade and played on the football team alongside her boyfriend. Her parents were good friends with mine, through mutual friends, I think, as I recalled my mum mentioning 'Mrs. Maximoff's boy' or 'Mrs. Maximoff's girl'. And I remembered when her family moved into our town back in second grade.
Admittedly, Wanda was the star of the show back then, too. We were only kids, but child Y/N wasn't blind. She was the first girl I'd crushed on, an innocent child crush – the crush that made me realise I liked girls. Apart from that, and the fact that she had a locker behind me in the hallway, I never really thought about her.
I glanced behind me, catching Y/BF/N's gaze across the room as he sat beside some other kid. He frowned, implying he wished we were partners, and I knew just how he felt.
Once Mr. Hale finished assigning seats, he gave us five minutes to get to know our new partners as he struggled to find the powerpoint for today's class. If there was anything worse than getting assigned seats, it was ice breakers.
"Er, well, hi," Wanda greeted, turning to face me. Green eyes sparkled brightly behind a friendly smile. "I'm Wanda. But, I mean, we already know each other."
"That we do," I said with a nod, returning her smile. "How're you doing? Your summer go well?"
She ran a hand through her hair, adjusting herself so she was comfortable on her stool. And as she did, a waft of her perfume washed over me and I blinked, trying to ignore how nice it smelled. Floral. Subtle. It suited her.
"Good, yeah," she answered with a nod. "Could have gone on longer for all I care."
I chuckled. "I feel that. I'm definitely not ready to be back."
"Right?" she said with raised brows. "It's gonna take a while to get back into routine, that's for sure. But I guess I did miss seeing my friends everyday."
I hummed in agreement, eyes flickering to Mr. Hale as he attempted to tackle the oncoming stream of animations on his powerpoint. I tried not to laugh as I looked back to Wanda, who clearly noticed the same thing as me and stifled a smile.
"Have you had Mr. Hale before?" I asked, nodding his way.
She shook her head. "Nope. You?"
"Never."
"Sucks that he makes seating charts," she said with a sigh, before realising what she said and looking to me with panicked eyes. "Not that I don't like you or anything–!"
"It's fine, I get it," I cut her off with an amused smile. "I wanted to sit with my friend, too."
She breathed out quietly, a hint of relief in her eyes, and scrunched her nose with an apologetic smile. Okay, yeah, maybe that was kind of cute. Older Y/N wasn't blind either. Wanda Maximoff was beautiful, with long brunette locks and matching hazel eyes that seemed to change from blue to green to brown in a kaleidoscope of colour. A winning smile and soothing voice was enough for anyone to fall for her unintentional charm, but it was purely admiration. Everyone pretty much had a mild crush on her, you'd be stupid not to.
"If we're gonna be working together, d'you wanna get the whole awkward number exchange out the way now?" she asked, half joking, half not.
"I– er– sure," I stumbled out rather carelessly, before cringing internally. Where did that come from?
Thankfully, she didn't seem to pick up on it (or just saved me the embarrassment of acknowledging it) and was already writing her number on a slip of paper. Sliding it my way, she capped her pen and gave me her signature smile.
"Thanks," I said with a nod, accepting the paper and pocketing it. "Can't wait to start those lovely science projects we've got coming up!"
She let out a quiet laugh at my sarcasm. "It'll be fine. You're not dumb, right? So, we'll be fine."
"Can't promise you that," I joked, making her roll her eyes playfully.
"Maybe if we–"
But she was cut off when Mr. Hale spoke up loudly, interrupting everyone's conversations.
"Five minutes are up, let's begin!"
I wondered if everyone was thinking the same thing as me – that was not five minutes.
"So it begins...," I mumbled to myself, facing forward.
Wanda breathed out, a stifled laugh, probably having heard my comment, and I couldn't help but crack a smile. Maybe I judged her too harshly. She wasn't actually that bad.
—
Since being paired with Wanda, I was surprised by how much she'd made an effort to befriend me outside of class. We'd always been back to back with our lockers though not quite speaking, but since becoming Chemistry partners, she'd wish me a good morning if she caught me, or greet me briefly as we collected our books.
She didn't have to, but I could see why everybody liked her now. She was just genuinely nice. Due to circumstance, we'd become partners, but rather than leaving it at that, she made a genuine effort to befriend me. And not even just me, but also Y/BF/N, who was at the locker next to mine. He was as surprised as I was, expecting Wanda to mind her own business as we weren't exactly in the same social circles.
This was, I guess you could say, the start of our friendship. And it was a good one at that. I grew to learn how funny she was, how much she loved her brother, the passion she had for art and painting... she was a wonderful person. Which is why I didn't understand why she was with her boyfriend, Nate. He was a grade-A dick and everything Wanda wasn't. How were they a thing?
It sounds like I'm being a bitch and judgemental, but he really is the worst. The few unfortunate times I shared a class with him or caught sight of him around school, he was causing some sort of trouble with the teachers or picking on students in a way that made it seem like a joke but everybody knew it wasn't.
For example, there was a time when Wanda and I were studying for an upcoming Chemistry test we had. We decided to just help each other study since we already worked together in class, so knew we could motivate each other to actually put in the work. It was, maybe, the fourth studying session we had, and I was going over some notes when I felt her eyes watching me.
"You need a hand?" I asked, unable to take the staring any longer. I looked up at her, quirking a brow.
She seemed to fall out of her daydream and straightened up, eyes flickering to mine. "Huh?"
I gave her an awkward smile, unable to maintain her gaze. "You're staring."
She didn't seem fazed as I called her out, instead leaning back in her seat and continuing to study me curiously.
"Did you do something different with your hair?"
Subconsciously reaching for my hair, I straightened up my ponytail and shook my head. "No...?"
She chewed on her lip, saying after a pause, "You tied it up. You usually leave it out."
Did I? I wasn't sure. I just knew that her noticing something like that made me feel self conscious all of a sudden.
"It looks good," she decided, before offering up a small smile. "You should do it like that more often."
Quickly, I felt warm. Was it stuffy in here or was it just me? God, compliments already made me feel stupid. And compliments from pretty girls made me feel ten times that. It didn't help that she was watching me with an endearing expression, making me focus on my book before me.
"Thanks," I got out quickly. "I– yeah."
Her smile widened before she looked back down to her own book. Suddenly, I became acutely aware of the way her leg brushed up against mine under the table.
Thankfully, the strange fuzzy feeling following her compliment faded and we were able to get back to work without her tuning out again. As we were going over each other's practice questions, an annoying voice shouted from across the library.
"Wanda, head's up!"
"Hey, no talking in the library!" a librarian hissed at the voice.
Wanda and I looked up just in time for a football to smack me in the side of the head. I didn't even see it coming until I felt the thing slap my head, giving me an instant urge to strangle whoever threw it.
"Fuck," I cursed, holding my head and closing my eyes to breathe through the pain.
"Oh my God, are you okay?" Wanda's voice made me open my eyes and I saw her leaning forward, hand resting on my shoulder and the other on top of mine that was clutching my head.
"Been better," I admitted, trying to make light of the situation because as angry as I was at the idiot who threw it, I was also embarrassed because it hit me.
Wanda seemed concerned as she gently pulled me hand away, not letting go as she got a better look at the side of my face which I was sure was burning red. At least that's what it felt like.
"Shit, I'm so sorry."
I looked up and saw none other than Nate Green, Wanda's boyfriend, hovering and stifling a laugh as he looked at me. He had his stupid varsity jacket on and I was tempted to strangle him with it.
"I thought Wanda would catch it," he explained stupidly, before moving around the desk to collect his football.
Breathing out through gritted teeth, I pulled away from Wanda and nodded reassuringly. "I'll be fine. Just need an ice pack."
"You're such an idiot, Nate!" Wanda snapped, looking to him with a glare. "You need to watch what you're doing!"
He smiled sheepishly, making me roll my eyes and clench my jaw at the heat on the right side of my face. Fuck, that really hurt.
"What did you want?" Wanda asked him with a quirked brow. She definitely wasn't impressed. I'd hate to ever be on the wrong side of that condescending glare.
"I thought we could go out," he said like it was that simple.
"I'm studying," she quipped with crossed arms.
"I'm happy to wait," he said, toying with the ball in his hands.
Knowing I definitely didn't want that, I closed my books and said, "It's cool. You guys go. I think we're done here anyway."
Nate grinned. "See? S'all good."
Wanda ignored him and looked to me with worried eyes. "Y/N, are you sure?"
"You know your stuff," I said, referring to the work. "You'll be fine in the test. I'm sure."
I offered her a small, forced smile, before standing up to pack my bag. She did the same, beginning to pack her own things, but her eyes kept flittering towards me.
"D'you want me to go to the nurse's office with you?" she asked, shame laced in her voice.
"It's fine, I'll be fine," I said, hurrying up with my actions so I could just get out of here whilst I still had (some of) my dignity left. "See you in class tomorrow."
She nodded, sending a guilty smile my way. "See you tomorrow, Y/N."
Without giving either of them a look, I shouldered my backpack and left the library. Just another reminder of why Nate Green was literally the worst person ever.
—
Liking Wanda as more than a friend wasn't something that happened for a while if I'm being honest. I guess I started to enjoy her presence more and more the longer we spent time together.
I'd come to appreciate it whenever she'd say something completely out of the blue that made no sense whatsoever, or whenever she'd laugh at something I'd said that was arguably not funny but she didn't want to make me feel bad, or even whenever I teased her about something stupid she did, resulting in her doing that cute little nose scrunch she did. But I didn't think of it as liking her, more just a randomly-formed friendship that I was glad to have.
Maybe it was this misinterpretation that didn't make me see how I was acting around her, such as the time I was in the dinner queue at lunch when I realised she was stood behind me.
"Oh, hey, Y/N," she said when she noticed it was me in front of her. Her usual bright, friendly smile was on her lips as she looked to me. "You good?"
I nodded, returning her smile. "Yeah. Just getting some doughnuts for Y/BF/N and I. You?"
"Same," she said, before nudging the guy next to her, who I recognised as her brother. "Pietro and I thought we'd treat ourselves."
At the mention of his name, Pietro looked down to his sister before his gaze fell on me. A mischievous smile appeared on his lips as he put out his hand.
"Pietro Maximoff," he introduced. "You must be the Chemistry partner, Y/N, right?"
I raised my eyebrows with surprise as I shook his hand. "You, er, know who I am?"
He glanced at his sister with a cheeky smile. Wanda was avoiding both of our gazes, her cheeks dusting pink.
Clearly saving face for Wanda, he said, "We've been in the same grade since kids, right? 'Course I do."
Despite the truth to his words, something told me that wasn't how he knew who I was. Especially since I was sure I'd never spoken to him in my life. But, to save Wanda the embarrassment of clearly having spoken of me at home, I nodded to Pietro.
"Right," I agreed with an amused smile. "Duh."
I moved down the queue and grabbed two doughnuts from the display, putting them in two separate paper bags.
"Dibs the last one!" Pietro exclaimed as soon as I returned the clippers to the display. He reached around his sister immaturely and bagged the last doughnut.
Wanda rolled her eyes. "You know I can ask for more, right?"
Pietro grinned, eyes sparkling with mischief. "Go on then."
The two were twins, but they couldn't have been more different. I simply revelled in their interaction, finding it adorable.
Wanda did as she said, asking the dinner lady if there were any more doughnuts in the back. Unfortunately for her, those were the last for the day, making Pietro laugh as Wanda pouted.
"Sucks to be you," he teased her, as I paid for mine and Y/BF/N's doughnuts.
"I hate you," she mumbled playfully, but I saw the disappointment in her eyes as he lovingly but annoyingly waved his bag before her eyes.
Without even thinking much of it, I held out one of the bags in my hand. "Here. You can have mine."
Wanda looked to me with surprise. "Are you sure? I can live without a doughnut, if that's what you're thinking."
I chuckled, grabbing her hand and making her take it. "It's okay. I wasn't in the mood anyway."
Plus, you look better when you're smiling and not pouting, I added in my head.
She accepted the bag reluctantly. "I– thanks. At least let me pay for it–"
"It's just a doughnut, Wanda," I teased, before nodding her way. "See you later."
Leaving her and Pietro to it, I headed back to the table Y/BF/N was sat at and took a seat opposite him before giving him his doughnut.
"Sweet," he said, quickly opening the bag before realising I didn't have one. "Where's yours?"
Over his shoulder, I saw Wanda and Pietro taking a seat at their lunch table, doughnuts in hand and a heartwarming smile on Wanda's lips.
"They ran out," I answered Y/BF/N. "Wasn't in the mood anyway. Enjoy."
He shrugged before digging in. I'd like to say I didn't spare glances in Wanda's direction every now and then for the rest of the lunch hour, but I'd be lying if I did.
—
I'm in the art department. You okay to bring it here?
I read over the text Wanda sent me before shooting her an 'okay' and heading to the Art department. I'd grabbed her notebook in class earlier on, only realising as I was studying with Y/BF/N in the library and pulled out an extra one, so I was going to give it her back.
I guess, when you realise you like someone, it comes randomly, suddenly, without warning. Liking someone isn't instant, it's constant and gradual and subconscious. I guess I'd been falling for Wanda for a while, without even realising, but today was the day I acknowledged that fact.
The Art department wasn't somewhere I frequented regularly – give me a paint and brushes and I'd probably present you with a finger painting – but it was definitely worth the visit. Art pieces from current and past students were hung on the walls, a mural of the school was spray painted on another, and sculptures stood around. The whole department brought a smile to anyone's face with its bright colours and open space – I could see why Art students always hung out here, Wanda included.
Speaking of Wanda, I found her in one of the classrooms sat at a stool in front of a series of canvasses. The room had a few other Art students littered around, working on their own pieces during their lunch period, otherwise it was empty.
"Hey," I called, getting her attention as I approached her.
She followed my voice and straightened up with a cheery smile. "Y/N, hey. Thanks for coming. I'm working on my Art project, so I couldn't pull myself away."
I waved my hand dismissively, joining her side. "It's all good, don't worry." My eyes wandered to the series of canvases on easels she was working on and widened. "Holy shit, these are so good."
Three unfinished hyperrealistic portraits of people were before us, one whom I recognised as Pietro. The paintings were so detailed, despite their medium-size, and I couldn't imagine how long they must have taken.
"You think?" she asked, glancing between them. "I think I messed up the nose here." She pointed with the back end of her paintbrush to the nose of Pietro. "It's a bit bent."
I almost laughed as I looked to her with disbelief. "Are you kidding? Wanda, these are amazing. How did you even do this?"
She looked down bashfully, a nervous smile on her lips. "I don't know. It's for a project. I chose to do family portraits." She pointed to each one as she said, "My mum, my dad and my brother."
I was in awe of her talent, jaw dropped with amazement still. I always knew she was an artist, but I'd never actually seen her work. I was starting to wish I'd come here a lot sooner.
"So, you got my notebook?" she asked, pulling me back into reality.
I looked away from the paintings reluctantly before getting her notebook from my bag and holding it out for her. As she accepted it, she must have forgotten she was holding her paintbrush as the tip brushed my wrist, leaving a swipe of red there.
"Oh, my bad," she said with a laugh, before setting her notebook and brush down and grabbing a paper towel from beside her.
Wetting it with water from her bottle, she pressed it to my wrist and swiped the paint away. It was such a mundane action, but the way her fingers gently held my wrist and emanated a warmth only she seemed to carry sent shivers down my spine.
I glanced up at her, letting her do it, and noticed the swipe of paint she had across her cheek, as if she'd touched her face without realising.
Now that I paid attention, I noticed how cute she looked in her Art getup. An old, oversized shirt covered in paint was being worn to cover her clothes, sleeves loosely rolled up to her elbows. Her long hair was tied back into a ponytail, but her baby hairs framed her forehead adorably.
When her hair wasn't in her face, her eyes only seemed more intense, glistening with excitement and happiness. I almost forgot to breathe when they met mine briefly, a hint of embarrassment there from when cleaning me up. She was in her element here and it made sense to me now.
I knew I'd fallen for her.
—
"You don't get it," I was saying to Y/BF/N as we hung about the school gym, waiting for the teacher to start the lesson. "It's bad. I like her. Like, like like her."
Y/BF/N laughed, clapping me on the back with pity. "You're screwed."
I frowned. "I know."
As he stretched for class, he continued, "I mean, I get it, I do. She's super nice. Pretty. And you guys seem to get on."
I chewed on my lower lip worriedly.
He gave me a knowing look. "There's one problem though."
I groaned, running a hand down my face. "I know, I know. She's got that dick of a boyfriend."
He chuckled. "That's one way to put it."
I sighed, crossing my arms with annoyance. Since realising I liked Wanda as a little more than a friend, things weren't going well for me. Whenever we worked together, I'd forget what I was thinking because I was too busy admiring her side profile or getting lost in her eyes. If she spoke about the work, told a joke or was simply speaking her thoughts aloud, I'd focus on every little thing she was saying, knowing I could listen to her speak all day. It was bad, but thankfully I hadn't stumbled over my words or made a total fool of myself in front of her. I was determined to not let it get that far.
My eyes wandered around the gym as Y/BF/N tried to give me advice, but admittedly, his words flew in one ear and out the other when I caught sight of Wanda.
She was standing with her friends, smiling and laughing to whatever they were saying. Like everyone else in here, she was wearing her gym kit – black athletic shorts and a blue and white tee shirt, the colour of our school. It wasn't anything special, yet she made it seem that way, outdoing anyone in here. Her brown hair was tied back, the ponytail falling down her back, showing her stunning profile and making my mouth go dry.
Another clap on the back from Y/BF/N pulled me from my reverie and I looked to see he was laughing at me.
"Majorly screwed," he corrected his previous comment.
He was definitely right.

top shelf//MGG - part 1
summary: broke and having a bad day, Reader runs into Matthew outside a café. after a couple encounters, his financial support and friendship become something more.
word count: 3k
content warnings: swearing but nothing else!
pairing: Fem!Reader/Matthew
A/N: hi! welcome to my new series. i don’t think this will be super long in terms of parts, but i’ll try to update as frequently as possible for you all. this chapter is pretty expositional, so i’m sorry in advance lol. also i know i made it short but lmk if you want them to be longer. also shoutout my sweet sweet angels @reidsconverse and @voidsfilm bc i would literally cry without both of you. also THANK YOU to @dr-spencerr-reidd for this concept bc i probably wouldn't have written it without your ask!! sending hugs :)
you throw your phone down on the passenger seat with a frustrated groan. after everything that's happened today, you're now stuck on a congested street with your car barely inside the parking spot alongside the sidewalk.
your screen sits there beside you, blank and unresponsive, and you know you're going to have to go inside the coffee shop to ask to use their phone and call Triple A. of course it's not working because nothing is working today. you might as well just sit in your car and cry.
but you can't, because you have a huge project for work that you need to get done by next week, and you've already procrastinated enough. a red glow from the headlights of other cars on the street shine through your windows like melted wax, distorted by the rain. it's been pouring all day.
bracing yourself for the onslaught, you grab the old umbrella from the foot well of the passenger seat and open the door of your car. the torrents hit your body like a wall of ice, soaking you as you try to get to the safety of the café. the umbrella helps a little, but then you get to the overhang and have to actually close it before you head inside.
your fingertips slip around the metal, trying to shove the thing closed while water drips off the bridge of your nose. it's frustrating. your footsteps are still determined as they move towards the entrance, but you're distracted by the stubborn nature of the object, so you don't see the man walking out.
it's not even a bodily collision, really. it's so much worse: the sopping material of the umbrella pokes him in the stomach, knocking the hot cup of coffee all over his sweater.
your eyes widen.
"oh my fucking god, I'm so sorry--" you stutter over your words, completely at a loss. his face is twisted up in an expression of concealed pain. it can't feel good to have hot coffee seeping through your clothes after being prodded by a piece of metal. you move your wet hair out of your face in order to look at him full-on.
"it's fine, really." he gives you what's supposed to be a friendly smile, but looks more like a grimace. your stomach twists; he's hot. like, if you saw him at the bar you would stare at him all night kind of hot.
"no, it's not," your face heats up, despite the cold, damp air. "let me buy you another coffee."
"I--" he glances down at his sweater, which is knitted with cute foxes on the front, then back at you. he pauses a moment and you have to bite down on your tongue to keep from collapsing. he's considerably older than you, but he doesn't dress or act that way. maybe late thirties, if you had to guess. "sure. thanks."
a flowering relief in your chest, partly because he doesn't seem angry and partly because you'd like to look at his face just a bit longer. your eyes stay on his until someone walks through the door of the café and reminds you of where you are.
without a word, you brush past and go into the building, him trailing behind.
Matthew watches as you walk ahead, your clothes spattered with rainwater and your hair somewhat messed up, too. he smiles to himself at the way you almost bump into the corner of a table, nervousness evident in nearly every movement.
you head to the counter, setting your hands on the granite while the barista checks out your unkempt appearance.
"hi," you smile at her before realizing you have no idea what this guy wants. you turn around and see him standing slightly behind you, suppressing a smile. he can tell how flustered you are, and now you look like a fool. "what coffee do you drink?"
"can I have a medium Americano, please?" he asks the barista with a friendly smile. he's got straight teeth, dimples... holy shit. you wish he had been unappealing so that this whole situation would be less humiliating.
you pay for his drink before getting out of the way, both of you slowly walking to the pickup counter.
"again, I'm really sorry. that stupid umbrella." you shake the thing at your side, raindrops falling to the floor. you run a hand through your wet hair.
"it's okay. I appreciate you getting me another cup." he flashes that smile again and you remember that his sweater is all stained. before you can think to do anything else, you pluck a handful of napkins from the self-serve station and start to dab at the material.
he looks down at you for a second, surprised by the way you grab his clothes. Matthew feels your hand pressing into his stomach innocently, and he feels himself blush a little. it's only when you pull away that he's able to regain his head.
"it's still bad," you throw away the napkins and re-evaluate the garment. "jesus christ, it's a nice sweater, too."
"hey, it's totally fine. I can just wash it out." he lets out a slight chuckle, and the sound makes your heart flutter. he's got a dad laugh. deep in his chest.
"baking soda and water." you say abruptly. he frowns.
"what?"
"to get the stain out? I use baking soda and water for coffee stains and it usually works." you explain gently, your eyes meeting again. his irises are a brownish hazel color, warm. the laugh lines by them are charming.
"oh," he grins. "do you get coffee stains often?"
you twist your mouth to the side and glance at the windows of the coffee shop. he's teasing you and you'd be remiss if you said you don't want to play along. "more than I'd like to admit."
you can feel him looking at you with that stupidly brilliant smile and it's really setting you off-kilter. someone shouldn't be that attractive; it's not fair. and yet you want desperately to stare, if purely for the sake of aesthetic enjoyment.
"I'm Matthew." he extends his hand, which is decorated with a series of rings. you realize that you don't even know his name.
"Y/N." you shake. his fingers are softer than you expected.
"nice to meet you, Y/N."
"and under such fortuitous circumstances." the corners of your mouth turn up as you relax a little.
he laughs at your words, the delightful ring of it interrupted by a new Americano showing up on the counter. he glances at the to-go cup, then at you, then goes to get his drink. you wish you knew what he was thinking, but he's not displaying anything past friendliness.
"well, um." something like disappointment settles in your stomach as you recognize this will be the last of your interaction. there's no reason for him to stick around, and you need to get back home to work, anyway.
"I'll let you get back to your day." Matthew doesn't seem nervous, just unsure as he grips the coffee in his hand. you open and close your mouth like something impressive enough to keep him here will come out. you know it won't.
and then you remember the state of affairs, the existence of your useless car and the useless phone in the front seat, how you're going to have to call Triple A and then your roommate to come get you.
Matthew realizes that you aren't going to say anything and he gives you one last smile and an awkward wave before turning to go. you watch in silence as he crosses the room to the door. two more seconds until he's out of your life forever. so of course you choose this exact moment to speak.
"wait."
his head jerks suddenly to look at you. this is embarrassing, but you have nothing to lose.
"can I... borrow your phone?"
Matthew tilts his head to the side slightly, frowning as though deeply confused. and you suppose it is a strange thing to ask, especially given that you're a younger person and most people your age carry their phones everywhere. "sure." he walks back over to you, pulling his cell out of his pocket.
"I just--" you fumble with the device while you decide how to phrase it without sounding like a pathetic mess. "my car keeps breaking down and my phone battery is, like, totally fucked, so it just turns off and on constantly and it’s still in my car but it’s raining and I just wanna see if it’s back on so I can call my roommate." you immediately cringe at yourself. the rambling isn’t cute.
he’s not too bothered by your panicking, though, his mouth only forming an O shape. "it’s no problem."
you dial your number, fingers trembling while he waits. he's turned his eyes to the rest of the coffee shop, but it still makes you nervous that he's standing right there. you put the cell to your ear and pray that it rings out.
you’re greeted by the sound of your own voice telling you to leave a message. great. with a frustrated sigh, you hang up and Matthew gives you an inquisitive expression.
“it’s still off,” you explain. “I’m gonna call my roommate.”
he nods and shoves his hands into his pockets while you punch in the other number. for a split second, you peek his way and admire his side profile. he really is something to behold; a model, maybe.
"hello?" good thing Cecilia has no problem answering unknown numbers. you bite your lip.
"hey, it's me."
"Y/N? whose phone are you using?"
"uh, someone I just met--" you frown as you try to find a way to describe him without something as insulting as a random guy. "anyway, my car broke down so I was wondering if you could pick me up."
there's a pause on the other end of the line, like the movement of sheets and the slightly disappointed groan of another person. she probably has her boyfriend over again. "sure, of course. where are you?"
you give her the address and hang up before dialing the car repair company. Matthew gestures to a table off to the side so that you two don't need to stand, and then you sit down across from him. you're so distracted by the person on the other end of the line that you don't even think about it.
Matthew twists his rings on his fingers. he's fidgety and it's sort of cute. you try not to stare at his hands, at the black spot of ink on the outside of his pinky. either he writes a lot or he's an artist. you have to focus on the table in order to keep from blushing.
finally, you finish up with the phone and hand it back to him. "you're a life saver."
"do you want me to wait with you until your friend gets here?" he gestures out the window. your immediate reaction is to say yes. it'll be awkward to sit here alone without your phone, without coffee. but you don't want to keep him any longer than you already have.
"it's okay, I'm sure you have places to be." you smile accommodatingly. he chooses his next words carefully, it seems.
"I don't, really. but I'll leave you alone if that's what you want, too." the way he speaks, offering his company without trying to impose... something about it makes your heart melt a bit. you appreciate his thoughtfulness. it makes you want to know more.
"okay," you nod as you make your decision. "if you wanna stay. it shouldn't be too long."
"great," he settles back into his chair, the light from the café lights above you reflecting off the lenses of his glasses. "why does your car keep breaking down?"
you exhale sharply at the thought. "that's a really good question, because I don't know the answer. it's super old and I'm too broke to afford a new one."
he nods.
Matthew's mind turns to different avenues at this knowledge. he knows you're young and that usually means that there isn't a lot of spare income. and he doesn't know if you have a job. but what he does know is that you've got an energy about you-- a sweet, well-intentioned manner that draws him in. every once in a while throughout the conversation, you throw out certain phrases that hint at a quick-witted intelligence.
you're funny, but not boldly so. and when you two get on the topic of how you ended up rain-soaked, shoving your way into a Los Angeles café, you tell him about your day.
"--and I have this shitty job right now working for one of my old professor's friends, so it's not like I can afford to constantly repair the damages. all my money is going towards my savings so I can pay for grad school, anyway." you sigh. he listens intently to your words, and he never shies away from eye contact. every time he nods along, you practically feel your heart leap.
"what do you do?" he asks.
"I write for a wellness magazine, but I'm sort of a fraud." you joke.
he laughs. "why's that?"
"I don't know, a lot of it is about different yoga methods and meditation, stuff like that-- but I don't do any of that in my daily life." you admit. it should be embarrassing, but you don't feel ashamed of the fact. he seems to find it funny.
"working your way toward a different kind of job, then?"
"I'm hoping for a more editorial role, honestly, but..." you lift your eyes to his. they're bright, he notices; full of a deep-rooted hope. "gotta start somewhere, right?"
"very true." Matthew wants to tell you just how much he understands, about the roles as an actor he's taken and the hours he spent making films in college, just hoping that one day he'd be able to make things on his own, but he doesn't want to scare you away or sound like he's bragging. it's not your fault you don't know who he is.
"sorry," you speak through a silence he doesn't realize he's left between you two. "I've talked your ear off and you don't even really know me. what do you do?"
"oh--" Matthew actually blushes this time. you see the pink creeping up his neck. "I'm an actor."
in the same way they did when you ran into him, your eyes widen. "an actor?"
"yeah," he smiles at the expression on your face. "you know that show, Criminal Minds?"
the name is familiar, but you've never seen an episode. "yeah, of course."
"I'm in that."
you don't know a lot about the program, but you've heard it talked about and you know that it's a popular show. so this guy is an actual actor, not just some LA wannabe. that makes him about five times more intimidating. you feel even more idiotic for not seeing it before.
"oh, shit," the words tumble out. Matthew grins at the bluntness of your reaction, and you scramble to recover. "sorry I didn't know who you are."
"no worries!" he laughs it off. "it's not a big deal."
"do you like it?" you ask. "being famous, I mean."
he shifts in his seat for a second as he makes a face like he doesn't know how to answer. you wonder if there's something deeper to him that you just haven't seen, yet. secret feelings about the subject. "I'm really not very famous, but I love the work."
genuinely humble. you can see it in his face, the sparkle in his eyes. and maybe he's just charming and you're just a girl blinded by his attractiveness, but your gut tells you that he's being real.
this time, you're the one who falls silent. admittedly, you get a little in your head sometimes. and it makes sense, now, the smoothness of his behavior and the sheer beauty of his face. this is a show business city-- of course he's famous.
Matthew's phone rings and he jumps, as if jolted from a dream. your attention moves immediately to the screen and you recognize Cecilia's number. he pushes the device over to you.
"hello?" your voice sounds far away.
"hey, I'm here. where are you?" she says.
"I'm just inside the café."
"oh, okay, I'll park and come in--" you hear the click of a seatbelt and start to panic. she can't see you in here with him.
"no!" you say too loudly. Matthew's head jerks up to frown at you.
"why not?" Cecilia asks, confused.
"no reason," god, you're a bad liar. "I'll come out and we can wait for the Triple A person in your car." you and Matthew make eye contact again. he gives you an understanding smile. your stomach flips.
"sounds good." she hangs up and you grab your umbrella. time to go.
"thanks for letting me use your phone." you stand, not really wanting to say goodbye but also lacking a reason to stay. he remains in his spot, seemingly now settled into this little corner of the café. it sort of suits him, this place. all cozy and slightly strange.
“happy to help.” you notice the tip of his tongue dart out over his bottom lip as if deliberating whether or not to say anything further. but he doesn’t and you feel awkward just standing there by the table.
“I’ll, uh…” you could ask for his number. but that would be weird, right? he doesn’t really seem to have an interest, anyway. “I’ll see you around, then.”
“yeah. it was nice to meet you, Y/N.” he gives one more of those killer smiles and you turn around, almost bumping into a display of coffee beans before correcting yourself and heading back outside.

good girls don't get used: michael langdon x fem! reader
—♡—
READ PART 2 HERE
summary: michael langdon, your ex, falls into a bet wherein he has to (fake) date you. if he falls in love again, he loses and doesn't get the prize.
warnings: private school au, fuckboy!michael, slight mention of sexual topics + i didnt proofread this mwahaha
this fic is inspired by the song 'good girls (don't get used)' by beach bunny.
i don't know if other private schools have bells, because mine doesn't :(
italicized bold words are direct lyrics from the song. but in this chapter, there are none since this is like an intro :)
—♡—
"Dude, shut the fuck up."
"Are you kidding? She really said that?"
"You really think that's gonna happen?"
"Who's class do you have first?"
Voices of different students flooded the white and grey hallways of the school. Different friend groups and teachers can be seen roaming the halls, getting stuff from their respective lockers as they waited for the bell to ring.
"Y/N! Do you mind if I borrow your calculator? I forgot mine at home and Math is my next class." She said while panting.
"Sure, here it is. If you lose it, I'd probably drop kick your ass." Y/N let out a small laugh and grabbed the calculator from her locker, giving it to her friend.
"Gosh, Y/N. I'll never lose it! I'll give it back during recess. Thanks again!" She flashed Y/N a smile and waved bye, before returning to her locker.
Y/N looked at herself in the mirror she had on her locker, fixing the tie that always seemed to be out of place whenever she checked. Her hair was neat, complete with a white headband that complimented the color of her school's uniform.
A few seconds later, the bell rang and everybody started rushing. Different couples were seen kissing before they parted ways for the mean time.
Cringe. Y/N thought. She shrugged it off and held her books tightly to her chest, walking to her next class.
Walking straight into the classroom, she noticed a group of guys dart their eyes to her direction as she entered. They gave her weird smirks. In return, she stared back at them while she made her way to her seat and never broke eye contact. Eventually, she noticed a familiar face among the group.
Michael, her ex.
How the fuck is he in my English class? She thought, along with a whole hundred thoughts roaming around her head. Michael stared back at her, giving her a wink.
Y/N's face gave a hint of disgust, "The fuck do you want, Langdon?" She stood up from her seat and walked over to Michael, pushing his other friends. She heard his friends coo and tease Michael for his act towards her.
Michael put up his hands in defense, "Chill, is it bad to wink at a pretty girl like you?" He said with a smug look, while he grazed his hand over her arm.
"Shut the fuck up, Langdon. Don't you ever touch me." Y/N slapped his hand away, his friends taken aback from her actions. As she walked back to her seat, the teacher entered as well.
Y/N put her face in her hands. By now, a million thoughts were in her head. It's been 2 years since Michael and her broke up, and since then, she made a promise to herself that she would never fall in love with men like him. She was so tired of all the tears and sleepless nights that Michael gave her.
She let out a sigh and lifted her head from her hands. The soft light from the windows filled her eyes after the darkness formed by her hands, causing her to rub her eyes to adjust from the light.
The rest of the hour went smoothly for Y/N, after English class was recess, her most favorite time of the day— aside from going home, of course.
She glanced at her watch, 10:28 AM.
2 more minutes, and English will be over. She thought.
She averted her gaze back on the white board full of scribbles about some writing lesson she clearly did not listen to. She looked over to her classmates and friends, Well they aren't listening either. She laughed at the thought.
As soon at the bell rang, everyone started packing up their notebooks, textbooks, and whatever they had on their table. Every student was seen rushing out of every classroom in hopes of being the first ones in line for the cafeteria.
On the way there, Y/N bumped into her friend group. "Hey Y/N! We heard about happened in English class. Michael is really in your class?" A friend of hers mentioned, "Yea, and apparently that son of a bitch winked at me, such a disgusting ass motherfucker. he should keep his fuck boy ass to himself." Y/N spat out, earning a chorus of 'oh's' from her friends.
When they arrived at the cafeteria, the line was painfully long, all of them groaned in frustration and they had no choice but to wait for the line to move. But once it did, it was faster than usual. After Y/N and her friends received their food, they left the cafeteria to eat at their usual place.
The school rooftop.
A few students know that staying in the school rooftop is permitted, which was why Y/N and her friends loved eating there.
When they arrived at the rooftop, they saw the usual people that they always encounter while staying there. The view was beautiful, there was no doubt about it. The small garden in the rooftop gave a beautiful and elegant touch.
Though there were a few chairs and tables, Y/N and her friends always preferred to eat on the floor. So, they laid the linen cloth on the ground and sat on it. Y/N was wearing the skirt uniform, thus she removed her tux and placed it on her legs to prevent her skirt from lifting.
They shared a few giggles while they ate their meals, laughing about some life experiences, or whatever they wanted to talk about.
Y/N loved this. She loved how she and her friends would have little moments like these, it was like an escape from reality.
The rest of the day went smoothly for Y/N. She didn't fall asleep in any of her classes, which in this case was a very big accomplishment for her.
As soon as she arrived home, her little brother, Aaron, rushed towards her. "Y/N!! I missed you!" He chimed, Y/N kneeled down onto his level and gave him the tightest hug. "I missed you too, Aaron!" Her mom came into the room and smiled. Y/N stood up and gave her mom a hug as well.
"How was school?" Her mom asked, Y/N placed her tux on the coat hanger by the door. "It was fine, Mom. Where's Dad?" Y/N walked over to the fridge and poured herself a glass of milk, "He'll be home soon, he still has a meeting right now." She took a sip of her milk, "Oh, okay. I'll be upstairs doing school work." The glass of milk that was once full, now empty.
She took her things upstairs and plopped herself on the bed. Out of nowhere she felt a vibrating noise from her bag, she rummaged through her bag to find her phone and once she did, a message was see on her lockscreen.
Unknown Sender has sent you a message.
She unlocked her phone and went to her messages.
Unknown Sender: hey ;)
Her eyebrows furrowed. What the fuck?
(Y/N): hi? whos this?
read 2:29 pm
Unknown Sender: oh shit you deleted my number? damn.
"Huh? I don't recall deleting anyone's number..." She went to her recently deleted contacts and it showed nothing.
(Y/N): im sorry, i haven't deleted anyone's number recently, maybe you have the wrong number?
read 2:32 pm
Unknown Sender: im pretty sure you know me, Y/N.
They know my name. And her heart started pounding.
(Y/N): and im pretty sure i dont, so just reveal yourself before i report this number
read 2:35pm
Unknown Sender: ayo chill 😬 its me michael.
"Michael fucking Langdon? You've got to be fucking me right now." She felt rage fill her, slamming her keyboard.
(Y/N): langdon what the fuck do you want? i made it very clear that i dont want you talking to me.
read 2:40 pm
Before Michael could reply, she changed his contact name to 'Motherfucker'
You have changed Unknown Sender's contact name as 'Motherfucker'
Motherfucker: damn you still mad at me after 2 years? gosh (Y/N). whats with the nickname?
(Y/N): of course im still mad, asshole. ill never forget what you fucking did.
read 2:43 pm
Motherfucker: i thought you forgave me 🥺
(Y/N): FORGIVE YOU???? god langdon you're so fucking stupid, i will never forgive you. you didnt even say sorry in the first place!
Pissed off, Y/N blocked his number. "That fucking asshole." She mumbled to herself.
—
"Hey! Y/N!" A familar voice called out from the crowd. Y/N removed one earbud and turned around to find the voice that called her.
Once she saw the shiny blonde locks from that stood out in the crowd, she immediately ran in the opposite direction in hopes of avoiding him.
It was Michael, again.
"Y/N wait!" Michael called out again, chasing her
For some reason, Michael was able to catch her. He pulled Y/N into an empty science laboratory and they were both panting.
"What the fuck do you want this time, Langdon?" Y/N was catching her breath, fanning herself with her hand.
"Okay. First off, sorry for the sudden message. I know I pissed you off and that wasn't my intention at a—"
"What was your intention then?" She cut him off.
Michael panicked.
"Uh, you know? I just wanna talk to you again. Clear the bad air between us.."
Y/N let out a laugh, "Clear the bad air?? Oh gooood Langdon, you are really so stupid! You know what? You just made it worse." She pushed him off and walked out of the room,
"Whatever it is your planning, Langdon, I'm telling to stop it. I don't wanna talk to you or even go near you."
Michael was dumbfounded. She changed so much. He thought to himself.
2 years ago, Y/N was the sweetest, most innocent girl he knew. Playing with her feelings was Michael's biggest regret, and he's starting to feel it again.
Michael was about to leave the room until he felt a buzzing from his pocket, He pulls out his phone to see who was calling him.
Duncan, one of his bestfriends.
Michael answered the call, "Hello?"
"What's the update on your little girl?"
"She still doesn't trust me."
"That's sad man."
"I know. She changed alot. "
"What do you mean by 'changed'?" Duncan emphasized,
"I can't point it out, Dunc."
"Whatever you do, don't chicken out. I promise this bet is worth it."
"Fine, I trust you."
Call Ended.
Michael ran his fingers through his hair in frustration and left the room before the bell rang.
—
It was the last subject of the day. Most students were falling asleep or on their phones.
Y/N was scribbling weird things on the back of her notebook, when suddenly the bell rang. She packed up her stuff and stood up from her seat. Before she could leave the room, she saw a familiar face again.
Michael stood by the doorway of her classroom, the strap of his bag over one shoulder while he looked for Y/N among the other students.
Y/N ignored Michael and walked past him, but he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her towards him.
"Langdon! What the fuck do you want?!" She screamed, all of the students averting their attention to her.
Michael put a finger on his lips, shushing her. "Let's go somewhere private, yea?"
"But—"
Before she could object, Michael dragged her outside towards the parking lot.
"Okay this is actually something serious—"
"CUT THE SHIT LANGDON! IM TIRED OF YOU."
"Woah‐woah! Easy now. I actually need your help, with school..."
Michael rubbed her shoulders, looking straight into her eyes. For once, Y/N believed him. His eyes were speaking the truth.
"Okay, fine. Shoot."
"I can't believe I'm saying this.."
"Don't waste my time, Langdon."
"Fine! I'm failing."
Y/N's mouth hung open. Michael was one of the top students in their batch and this was obviously a huge surprise for her.
"Oh, really? What am I gonna do about that?" She crossed her arms and cocked her head to the side.
"Can you please help me? Like, tutor me?" At this point, Michael was desperate.
"Um, no thanks. Just fuck some other girl's pussy for your grades." Y/N pushed him away, but Michael stopped her again.
"I'm serious, Y/N. I really need your help."
"Why me?"
Now that made Michael nervous.
"Because you happen to be the top of our batch right now?"
"Fine! Under one condition."
Michael was curious, "What?"
"If I do this tutor shit, we're doing it at my place. I can't tutor you in your messy ass room." Y/N said. She always remembered how messy Michael's room was when they were together. He would only clean when he was scolded by Y/N.
"That's fine by me."
"Okay then. 5pm, sharp."
She walked away, but Michael pulled her again.
"Let me go! What do you want now?" Y/N said, clearly annoyed.
"Unblock my number, silly." Michael chuckled,
"No."
"How are you supposed to know if I already arrived?"
"Theres a doorbell, dimwit. I'll be downstairs waiting for you."
"Bu—"
"Bye, Michael. I'll see you later." Y/N flashed him a small smile and continued to walk away.
Once he saw Y/N reach the bus stop, he started walking to his car, until someone tapped him on his shoulder.
"Hey Michael, whats the update? I saw you talking to her." It was Duncan. His brown hair was lightly gelled back and the first two buttons of his white dress shirt were undone.
"I'm still trying to win her back, I lied to her that I was failing so she could tutor me. That way, it'll be easier."
Duncan smirked, "That's my boy! When will this tutor thing start?"
"Later, 5pm."
"Hmm, that's good. Remember, if you fall in love again, bet's over."
"I won't."

Part II
Part III
Part IV
Part V
________
You spent the rest of your evening like a somnambulist, barely able to concentrate on your projects before you went to bed, barely finishing half of the things you planned for today. Even the change of locks didn't make you as happy as you thought it would. It felt like something between a dream and a nightmare.
Lying in the dark, you stared at the ceiling, thinking of what happened just a couple of hours ago. Why did he do it? Was it just out of habit and didn’t mean anything? Naturally, with his appearance and easy-going attitude, he probably dated many girls and didn’t think much before kissing someone he liked.
Remembering the way he talked to you in the morning, you thought he must have pretended to be shy around you. Thor certainly wasn’t sheepish.
Was it all a sham? Was Loki right about all of them, playing their roles to get close to you? You couldn’t forget the way Thor looked the moment he told you about being smart. It was like something switched inside him, and for a second you saw the real Thor who was far from being your simple, good-natured athlete.
Why did you keep thinking about that stupid kiss even after seeing the man could be dangerous?
Aroused and angry, you tossed and turned until you fell asleep.
____________
Waking up was especially tough, despite the fact you didn't really do much yesterday, meaning you were going to spend your weekend studying. Shoot, and that's when you planned to visit that new chocolate boutique in the city. Maybe you could still make it if you spent more time studying today?
But then again, going to the city alone might be a bad idea. Even if the guys who stole your things were beaten, it didn't mean it had always been the same people following you. The school was full of weirdos, in the end. What if somebody went after you? Steve would definitely say you had to bring one of your guards with you.
Damn. It was better staying in the dorm then.
"Good morning! Are you ready?" Peter's voice broke through the silence, and you flinched, hurriedly applying some lipstick because you didn't have enough time to put your makeup properly.
Well, at least you were fully dressed.
"Just give me a second!" Picking up your bag, you put your shoes on and opened the door, looking at a young guy who's face was lit up like a Christmas tree. "Hi!"
He definitely liked what he saw, and you felt your cheeks growing hot from embarrassment. From the very start of the semester Peter acted very sweet around you, and you thought you could be friends with him. He wouldn't do something as ugly as blackmailing, would he? Thor said it too. Clearly, Steve was exaggerating.
"Did you sleep well? I've heard you changed your lock, so now it'll be better."
"Ugh, I hope so. But I still sleep with my dresser blocking the door." Sighing, started walking, afraid to look in the faces of other students, hurrying off to school.
They must have been disgusted, watching you being friendly with one guy after being all lovey-dovey with the other just yesterday. Although you didn't see anyone in particular, you were sure somebody saw Thor kissing you. And now you were walking the corridors with Peter.
"By the way, what's your Insta?"
What? Your Instagram? Whatever for? Although you had no idea why he needed it, you let him add you, by the time leaving the dorm and walking towards the main building.
Suddenly, Peter got pretty close, his arm on your waist as he lifted up his phone and hummed, "Look here and smile!"
Before you realized what he was doing, the boy kissed your temple, and you heard the sound of a photo being taken by his front-facing camera. What the Hell?!
"Peter!" Pissed at him, you quickly break free and stepped back, but he was already looking at his phone, editing the photo and posting it almost immediately.
You heard your phone buzz when he marked you on the photo.
"That's a good one. You look very cute here."
"What are you doing?!"
"Making a proof we're dating, of course?"
You were taken aback by the sincerity in his voice, and Peter smiled from ear to ear like an excited teenager, showing you the picture: it wasn't that bad, and you looked as if you were slightly embarrassed by Peter's closeness. Oh, of course. He had to convince his friends he was dating you, but he didn't kiss you on the lips that could make other people too suspicious. Instead, friends of Barnes or, say, Thor, would still think it was all for show, and it was their friend who dated you for real.
Shit, Steve's plan was incredibly complicated, and you didn't like it at all.
"Oh, alright." You mumbled, lowering your eyes to the ground, and Peter laughed.
"We'll make a TikTok dance later. If you wanna make people talk, just use your social media." He winked at you and put the phone in the pocket of his pants, resuming walking, and you moved along, your face still hot.
God, what did these guys got you into? You felt like you were lost in the middle of a play, not even having a script to read what was your role in all this.
Before you parted your ways, going to a different classrooms, Peter talked about videogames, the upcoming Resident Evil - apparently, his favorite franchise - and some Dota tournament, but you didn't know much about it, and Peter offered to show you his favorite games "because you can't spend all your time studying!"
He was as careless and sweet as always, but you couldn't get Steve's words out of your mind. Damn, if only you could know for sure that Peter didn't blackmail anyone. Who could you talk to about it? Obviously, not Peter himself, but every time he spoke you had that nagging feeling you needed to talk to him. You barely kept your mouth shut before he went to a different room.
Ugh, why didn't you transfer anywhere else when you still had a chance? Obviously, now you could only drop out of school, and it definitely wasn't something you were going to do.
Luckily, the next couple of hours you were busy with your classes, trying your best to prepare for the upcoming exams. The academy held high standards, and even though you were a good student, it still took lots of efforts to keep up the good work. How Thor even managed to get enrolled, judging by the fact he hated studying and often skipped classes?
Ah yes, he mentioned something about getting a scholarship from the academy for his success in the sport.
By the lunch time you were drained, listening to Peter chatting with an absent-mindedly epxression on your face. Funny enough, Peter's grades were better than yours, even though he spent much less time studying. What, was he some genius like Loki? You felt a little envy.
"I gotta go take my tracksuit, I have PE next," the boy said, and you nodded, throwing away the leftovers of your lunch.
As you stood close while he grabbed his sportclothes, you heard two guys talking behind the lockers to your right.
"Have you seen her today? She's with Parker!"
You tensed immediately. Of course, they were talking about you.
"Yeah, so what?"
"She was with Thor yesterday!"
Watching you froze on the spot, Peter stilled too, listening carefully. Oh shit, you hoped no one cared about who you went with - why should they, in the end - but, apparently, you were drawing too much attention simply because you were a girl among hundreds of male students.
"So what?" The other guy asked impatiently, growing tired of this conversation.
"Are you stupid? She's going out with them! I bet she's looking for a guy." The first student said with excitement, and you cringed. No, you weren't going out with anyone, you wanted to stop the weirdos from following you and steeling your things. Was it too much to ask?
"Yeah, who cares?"
"We have three fucking girls in the whole school, and you don't care if one of them could be going out with you? Besides, this one's pretty. I'd fuck her!"
You felt like you were going to puke any moment. Why on Earth did you decide to transfer to an all-boys school? It was like the whole school were a men’s room filled with stupid-ass guys, and you were locked inside, forced to listen them talk junk.
"You'd fuck a sheep, weirdo. Go get yourself a girlfriend if you can’t stop thinking with your dick.”
Laughing, the guy left, and his friend followed him, shouting something stupid while you breathed out a sigh of relief. Of course, you knew there would be some talk, but you didn’t expect it to be so... gross. Were you really gonna spend the two remaining years here?
Watching you getting frustrated, Peter gently touched you by the arm and said softly, “Don’t worry. They won’t talk rubbish about you.”
“What do you mean?” Suddenly thinking of Steve’s words, you blurted out exactly what you were thinking of the whole day, “Are you going to blackmail them with something?”
“I... what?”

"It won't happen again, I swear" Yax?
Once Wakko ran out of the room, the first thing Yakko did was try and see if he could catch up to Max. He had to make sure things were okay- that Max didn't hate him. If he did- oh god-
Max was... everything to Yakko. He couldn't afford to lose him.
Thankfully, Max still hadn't made it outside, and was at the bottom of the foyer when Yakko called for him to stop.
"Max- wait-!" Yakko shouted as he scrambled down the steps as fast as he could. Thankfully, Max obliged, staying where he was.
"I... I wanted to apologize... for Wakko's behavior," Yakko panted, not bothering to stop to take a breath.
"It's cool, Yakko. I get it- really, i do," Max said, putting his hands in his pockets.
Yakko blinked.
"But..?" He tilted his head slighty.
"'But' nothing. I'll admit Wakko stepped up his game but it's most certainly not the first time I've been locked in a room before, Yakko," Max chuckled slightly.
"B-but you were all snappy before- I thought-"
"Oh, right- sorry about that. I was just-" Max sighed. "I'm just worried what Dad'll think. He's... a bit of a worry-wart sometimes," He scratched the back of his neck.
Yakko bit his lip. "What does that mean for... us?"
Us.
"Hey, don't worry. I'll figure out something that'll keep both you and your brother in the clear- as well as a way to also not make him and at your parents or the kingdom. This isn't my first time," Max reassured.
"How?" Yakko asked.
Max shrugged. "I'll think of something. I always do," Max punched his arm lightly. Yakko laughed.
"Speaking of your brother though..." Max said, and Yakko felt his tone change.
"Let him know I'm not mad or anything, despite lying to me and stuff. He's probably just confused," He said.
"Yeah..." Yakko kicked the ground.
"Also... don't take this the wrong way, but I really think you should be spending more time with your siblings. They probably feel a bit neglected or something, which is why he locked me in that tower and stuff- which from what I've seen doesn't seem like the type of thing he'd usually do," He said, and Yakko felt a knot form in his stomach from the guilt.
"Yeah, he wouldn't. He hates that place- grandma locked him up there twice when he was a kid... bad memories. I swear it'll never happen again." Yakko said.
"Ah..." Max nodded his head.
"But... you're right. I've been neglecting them... I'm just sorry it's gotten this far," Yakko sighed, rubbing his forehead.
"Like I said- no big deal. You just need to go to them and apologize and stuff," Max assured.
"Yeah, I'll do that," Yakko promised. Max smiled a little.
"Good," He punched his arm again. "Now, it's really dark out, and I really have to go before it's too late," Max gestured to the door.
"Right, yes- you need to get going," Yakko agreed.
"I'll write to you," Max swore as he started to head out.
"I know, I know," Yakko smiled.
With a salute goodbye, Max ran out and left the foyer.
Well, all things considered, that could've been significantly worse.
Which meant he totally snapped at Wakko for nothing.
Shit.
Yakko had some serious apologizing to do.
"Yakko? Have you seen Wakko?" His mother entered the foyer as Yakko began to climb back up.
"No, i ran straight to Max. Why? Is he not in his room?" Yakko asked.
"He's not in the playroom, his room, any of the closests I've stopped by- I'm getting really worried," Her voice cracked despite trying to keep it together.
Shit.
"It's been a long night, I'm sure you're just stressed out, mom. You should lay down- I can search for him," Yakko said as he reached the top.
"Yakko, he could be anywhere. I-i can't rest until I know he's okay... Oh god, I feel just terrible," She whispered that last part to herself, clearly also being overwhelmed with guilt of her own.
"Look, we can get the guards to look as well, it'll be okay, we can find him and apologize," Yakko held one of her hands and gave it a good squeeze. Lena squeezed back.
"I'll give the orders..." She said, before squeezing his hand once more and going down the stairs.
Yakko had some serious, serious apologizing to do.
.o0o.
The first place Yakko checked was the playroom, but as his mother had said it was empty. He thought perhaps there was a slight chance Wakko had been moving locations, as under the table was one of his favorite hiding places, but alas, he wasn't there.
He then decided it would just be best to look through every single room he stumbled into, but most were empty or full fo servants who just gave him confused looks before he awkwardly stepped out.
He did run into Scratchnsniff though, and he gave him a quick run down and he too agreed to help.
After an hour and a half of searching, Yakko's concern had nearly tripled as he ran out of ideas as to where he could be. He looked through every room, every closet, every nook and cranny but he was simply nowhere to be found inside the castle.
However, as he was about to start all over again, it occured to the crown prince that perhaps his brother wasn't inside at all- but hiding somewhere in the gardens.
In the dark.
Late at night.
In the cold.
Yakko hurried to grab a blanket, his coat, and a lantern before rushing out to the garden
It was a windy night, and the brisk air sent a chill down his spine almost immediately. However, he just tightened his coat as he began his search anyway, determined to make that apology.
He seriously shouldn't have blown up so much. Max wasn't even mad or anything- Yakko blew it way out of proportion. Mom was right- Wakko was just feeling neglected. Hell, Dot probably was too, which meant he'd have to apologize to her too.
God- with how many times Yakko called him an idiot it's no surprise he ran off and away like this. An insult straight from dear ol' Grandma.
Yakko really had been slipping these past few months.
Though Wakko did still cross a line... but that line could've been prevented had he just listened sooner and not neglected them.
Yakko truly was going to have to make it up to them- both of them.
For awhile, Yakko wandered around the garden, holding his jacket close when there was a gust of wind, and shouting his brother's name to no response. His worry grew more and more as it grew later and later and darker and darker.
He wasn't going to give up though, he needed to find him.
"Wakko!!" he called out once again.
Still no response.
Yakko began to worry more. He had practically searched all of the garden by now- if he wasn't out here he was probably outside of the castle walls, where he could easily be lost or scared or hurt or worse, even.
Oh god, Yakko had really, really screwed up.
"Wakko!!!" He called out again, feeling a lump form in his throat.
God- he couldn't start crying now, he still had to find him.
Yakko wiped his face before going into the last place he hadn't looked- the formation of hedges that led to the flower garden his parents loved working on the most. Yakko continued on in, calling for his brother over and over again, begging to be heard and for a response.
Still, nothing.
Until- out of the corner of his eye, he saw him.
He was curled into a ball and shivering tightly, with his legs curled up under his shirt to keep warm. His face was still tear stained from before, but he seemed asleep.
"Wakko!" Yakko gasped, running to him and quickly wrapping him in the blanket.
"Y-yakko-?" Wakko snapped awake, holding the blanket tightly.
"Wakko, we've been looking everywhere for you- why-?" Yakko stopped, realizing 'why' was a stupid question. "I'm bringing you inside- don't fight," he said, as he picked him up.
Thankfully, Wakko didn't, and Yakko successfully brought him back inside and he took his little brother to the family study and quickly put on a fire to help him warm up while his brother sat in silence.
"Wakko!" Dot appeared in the open doorway of the study in her nightgown. "You're okay!" She rushed and hugged him.
"Y-yeah..." Wakko looked at the ground, but still hugged back (though rather weakly).
"I'm glad you're here Dot- I need to talk to both of you," Yakko said, going to the door and closing it. Dot winced and took a seat next to Wakko. Yakko cringed at that, taking off his coat and putting it on a hook before sitting in a chair of his own across from them.
They all sat in silence a moment, with none of them really knowing how to start. God- how do you start a conversation like this?
"Y-y-yakko, I-i'm s-so, so, so, so, so sorry," Wakko sniffled. "I-i knew it wasn't right b-but I-i really thought he was gonna- i didn't wanna hurt you- I just-"
Yakko sighed. "I know, Wak. I'm sorry for shouting at you so much. You aren't an idiot, or a moron. If anyone here's the idiot, it's me," He admitted.
"I... neglected you two. I was so blinded by Max that i seriously hurt you guys and I'm really sorry," Yakko said.
"I-it's okay, Yakko-" Dot tried to smile, but Yakko cut her off.
"It isn't okay, Dot. I seriously hurt you two. I said some really hurtful things, and I need to own up to it." He ran his fingers through his hair as he looked at the fire.
Another stretch of silence.
"Do... do you hate me..?" Wakko asked so quietly one could hardly hear it over the crackle of the fire.
"Of course not Wakko, I could never hate you," Yakko swore.
"E-even though I locked your boyfriend away? A-and tried to soak him with water? And covered your hands in spices so it hurt? A-and took and read your letters?" Wakko sniffled as tears began to stream down his face as he gripped the blanket tighter.
"Wakko, I could never hate you, you're my little brother." Yakko said. "Though those things did really hurt, I know you've learned your lesson and won't do it again, right?"
Wakko nodded his head.
"And for the record Dot, I don't hate you either," Yakko looked at his little sister, who was hugging the pillow from her chair.
"Yakko...? Do you... consider us like friends?" She asked nervously.
"I think we're friends in a way... but in a different way I think family is more than that, you know?" Yakko shrugged, not knowing how to answer.
"Not... really..." Dot looked away.
It then occurred to Yakko that they hadn't had any friends either.
God- he had spent all this time begin upset they couldn't be happy for him when they literally couldn't understand-
Oh god- Yakko was deeply embarrassed.
"I'm so sorry for getting so bad at you two- I didn't know you felt like that. I-" He sighed. "I think you two need to start meeting some kids around the kingdom and elsewhere."
"But I don't want anyone else- I want you two," Wakko frowned.
"Being friends with other people doesn't mean we're gonna disappear on you- not anymore. I promise, I'm going to make up for all of the time I neglected you two." Yakko side tracked.
"And having friends is a good thing, it means you're growing as a person and forming connections outside of your family can be really rewarding," Yakko said.
Wakko bit his lip, still unsure.
"I'm not saying immediately, I'm just saying... perhaps it'd be a good idea. But we don't need to rush it- I still need to make up that lost time," Yakko chuckled weakly.
Neither of the younger Warners replied, both preferring to look at the fire sleepily.
Yakko sighed. "I think it's late- we should tell mom you're okay and we should go to bed."
"M-mom's worried about me?" Wakko sheeped.
"Of course she is, you ran off and were nowhere to be found for hours," Yakko said.
"R-right... I should apologize..." Wakko agreed with his elder brother.
"Yeah, I should go to bed," Dot yawned, which made Yakko chuckle.
"C'mon, let's go," He said, as he put out the fire, as both of sibs were clearly very toasty.
They didn't have to walk very far before they saw their parents, both looking very stressed before they saw their children and quickly ran to them, giving Wakko big hugs with a jumble of "are you okay? are you hurt?"s, etc. etc.
"I-I'm okay- I'm so sorry for what I-i did- I just-"
"I know sweetie, I know... it's just-" Lena sighed. "I'm just... I'm just happy you're okay now."
"We're both happy," William inserted himself, which made Wakko laugh a little.
"C'mon, let's get you to bed," Lena said, scooping her youngest boy up and carrying him to his bedroom.
"...can you carry me?" Dot asked William, who laughed and nodded, scooping her up too.
"Awww, what about me?" Yakko joked to his father.
To his surprise though, his father just smirked and grabbed Yakko with one arm and carried him away too.
Right, his dad was a knight. Sometimes Yakko forgot that.
Soon enough, he was dropped off at his and Wakko's room, and Dot dropped off at hers across the hall (though she got tucked in). The brother's changed into their pajamas and were about to go to bed, when Wakko stopped Yakko.
"Yakko..?" He asked.
"Yeah?" Yakko raised an eyebrow.
"Is... Max mad?" Wakko looked down.
"No, he's okay. It's not his first time being locked in a room, he was just tired and worried about his dad."
"...would you still be mad at me if he was?"
Yakko paused.
"No, I think I would've had my senses knocked back into me anyway," Yakko said. "Mom couldn't let me be an idiot for too long."
"Okay," Wakko bit his lip and turned away.
"C'mere," He opened his arms. Wakko quickly understood and gave Yakko a hug.
Yakko didn't realize just how much he missed Wakko's hugs.
"What you did did cross a line, but you get it now and that's all that matters: that you learn from your mistakes and make up for it, like I am," Yakko said. Wakko nodded.
"I-i'm sorry for making you worried too," Wakko said.
"It's okay... you're safe and here now, that's all that matters," Yakko hugged him a little tighter.
"...I'm also sorry I keep calling him your boyfriend..." Wakko said. "I know you don't like it."
Yakko laughed at that one.
"It's a little funnier now... but yeah, maybe cut that out for the moment," He snorted. Wakko laughed too, letting go of the embrace and going to his bed.
"G'night Yakko," Wakko said, blowing out the light by his bed.
"G'night Wak," Yakko said, blowing out his light and climbing into his own bed.
Both of them had made a lot of huge mistakes, and both were still a little more hurt than either would ever say, but both knew they wouldn't make those mistakes again. They were gonna make up for it,
No matter what it took.

Chapter 5: Come on in, sit right down
💀💀💀
It was a pain you’d never felt before. It was more than physical, it was deep, it was like part of you was missing. Something taken from you. More than just that outdated concept of purity that you never bought into, more so your autonomy. You never felt very in control of your life, trapped in the small town with dreams but now your life was completely out of your grasp.
Sam left late, some time after midnight. It didn’t matter, you still felt him inside of you. You tried to rinse him off of you, out of you, but the shower only left you cold and hollow. You gave up on sleep just after five in the morning and you typed in a trance, barely thinking as your fingers fluttered over the keyboard.
Hours passed like days and you descended as you heard your nan below, the clink of her heavy cast iron pot on the stove. She cooked her oatmeal in it and it was heavy enough to hammer back in the loose floorboard in front of the fridge. She offered you some as you entered the kitchen and you sat at the table with a sigh.
“Is that man coming back?” she asked.
You tilted your head at her as she put a bowl in front of you and the bag of sugar just for you. You sprinkled the brown granules over your oatmeal and added milk, “you looking forward to it?”
“The only reason I didn’t spray Lysol in his eyes was because of you, girly,” she sat heavy with the jar of artificial sugar and the little cinnamon container, “you know I’d do anything to keep you safe even if you’re too dumb for your own good.”
You nodded and scooped up the thick oatmeal. You pushed your tongue through the oats and said nothing.
“I told you to stay away from that bar,” she huffed. The crotchety old lady was back.
“You seemed happy enough about the pie and wine,” you shrugged.
“You think I don’t know his kind. I’m an old lady, that won’t keep him from cracking my skull like poor old Mikey Rae,” she tutted, “that was the first biker I fucked with.”
“Nan,” you gasped at her language.
“Well, you’re an adult now. Gonna have to grow up quick if you messin’ with those boys,” she pointed her spoon at you, “but you say the word and I’ll twist his balls off. Being old only means I gotta be patient.”
You couldn’t help but snicker. You knew she was serious and you realised then that it was all a show. A cautious act that you’d mirrored for her own sake. But this was a problem you had to deal with yourself. The one thing you couldn’t live with was bringing harm to the woman who raised you.
“No ball twisting, nan,” you shook your head, “alright?”
“For now,” she returned, “but you be careful, girly. You’re in deep enough.”
“I know,” you bit the edge of your lip, “nan?”
“Mmm,” she grumbled as she swallowed.
“Mikey Ray, if he was one of them, who bashed him?” you asked.
“The second one, Colin,” she frowned, “cocky bugger, took what he wanted… until he got what he couldn’t handle.”
“And what happened to him?”
It was the most your nan ever told you about those days, more inclined to talk about her hippy festivals and protest arrests.
“I twisted his balls off,” she snickered, “in a manner of speaking.”
You drew your brows together as you watched her take another bite and she opened the pocket book of crosswords she kept on the table.
“In a manner of speaking?” you wondered.
“I plead the fifth,” she took the pencil from between the pages and adjusted her thick glasses, “but he wasn’t around to cause me any trouble.”
You shoved another spoonful into your mouth and sat back. You always thought your nan was a tough old bitch, you couldn’t imagine what she was like when she was your age.
💀
Sam showed up just after noon. You weren’t surprised but you weren’t happy either. You were only thankful he came in the back. You didn’t need Nan following through on her threats and you would rather she didn’t know about the visit. If you were fortunate, she didn’t notice him for her knitting.
He knocked on your door and you unlocked it. He made no move to enter as he twirled your phone between his fingers.
“Charged it last night,” he smiled, “thought we could have some more fun.”
“I’m working,” you said quietly.
“Did I ask?” his lips straightened and he tilted his head, “and it’s about time you came over. Kind feels off with the old lady just on the other side of the wall.” You winced at the memory of the night before. He noticed and chuckled. “Kinda hot too but… still,” he mused.
“You can’t come back later?” you crossed your arms.
“You were so good last night,” he said, “I don’t like this little game you’re playing so don’t make me give the old lady a show. Let’s go.”
You dropped your arms and grabbed your thinner jacket from the back of your chair and shoved your feet into your zip up Martens. He waited with his arm across the open door and you stepped past him as his other hand went to your ass and squeezed. He closed the door and followed you down the wooden steps.
The snow wasn’t as deep as the first fall and you crunched through to the sidewalk. He placed his arm over your shoulders as he ushered you along to the main road. You passed The Asp and cut through the lot as he waved to other members of the club.
“I talked to Bucky, let him know you won’t be an issue any longer,” he said, “right?”
“Right,” you echoed and hugged yourself against the bitter air.
“Aw, honey, don’t worry, we’re about to get you warmed up,” he led you down another side street and up the paved walk of a pale blue house, “this is my place, Chez, uh, Wilson.”
He let you inside and nudged you further in as he followed. You slid out of your boots and he helped you out of your jacket. His impatience showed as he unzipped his coat and tore off his own boots. He took out your phone and grinned.
“Today,” he held it up, “you can get this back… if you earn it.”
You stared at him and picked at the hem of your shirt. His eyes followed the movement of your fingers and he licked his lips.
“Why yes, you can take that off, that’s a great start,” he purred, “all of it.”
You clenched your teeth and gripped the fabric nervously. He shouldered past you and pointed across the front room.
“You can go wait for me in there,” he said, “I’ll be a couple.”
You nodded and made to pass him but he stopped you before you could enter the living room. The place was cozy even if you didn’t want to be there. He bent and turned your face up to kiss you sloppily. He tapped your ass again as he urged you onward.
“Gotta loosen you up,” he taunted, “in more ways than one.”
You continued across the room if only to get away from him, even if it wouldn't be for long. You pushed past the painted door and entered the bedroom. The wall was hung with a large framed diagram of a Harley and another of a bike engine. There was a large poster for the Godfather and a Marvin Gaye album leaned against a retro player. The bed was made and the carpet freshly vacuumed.
You went to the dresser and looked over the dog tags that hung from a miniature statue of David. You looked up at the large mirror over the dresser and you looked as scared as you felt. You gulped down your nerves as he entered and looked away from your reflection.
He had a stool in hand and kicked the door closed. He placed it between the bed and the dresser. He kept his hands on the top and his chest flexed beneath his grey henley. He watched you knowingly and tutted.
“You’re not naked,” he said, “don’t you want this back?”
He let go of the stool and revealed your phone once more. You murmured and lifted your shirt slowly. He went to the dresser and unfolded a small metal tripod and affixed the cell to it. He angled it then slid out the top drawer. You scoffed as he turned around with a large suction dildo and stuck it to the top of the stool, your hands frozen on your open fly.
“Um, what the hell?” you sputtered.
“I think you know what the hell but I’m more than happy to give direction,” he wiggled the dildo and let it wobble as he pulled away.
You gaped at it. You couldn’t fit that whole thing in you. How were you even supposed to get yourself onto that?
“Honey, quit stalling,” he warned as he put his hands on his hips. You blinked at him and scowled, “or we can make a special post for TikTok… but I think it might be against their terms of service.”
You glanced away and pushed down your jeans. You let your socks crumple in the ankles and stood to unhook your bra. He hummed as he moved to lean against the wall beside the dresser and crossed his arms over his chest. You hesitated before you shimmied out of your panties, shying away as you eyed the stool.
“Oh,” he pushed away from the wall and reached into the drawer again. He tossed you a tube and you caught it. Lubricant. “You’re gonna wanna get some of that on there.”
You inhaled deeply and flipped open the cap. You cringed as you hovered the bottle over the tip of the dildo and squirted it onto the silicone. You spread it down the length of the toy and your hand shook. You felt him watching you as embarrassment burned through you.
You finished and capped the lube and set it on the dresser. He nodded to the toy and lifted a brow. You hid your discomfort and approached the stool. You stepped up onto the crossbar and clung to the edge of the seat as you brought your knee up. You felt as if it would all topple as you brought your other leg up.
You shuddered as you felt the tip against your cunt and you reached unsteadily between your legs. You rubbed the head of the toy against your folds to spread the lube and peeked over at Sam.
“Go on,” he ordered, “if you can get that whole thing inside you, I’ll give you your phone back.”
You gripped the toy and pushed it back to your entrance. You lowered yourself a little so it stretched you just slightly. You scrunched your nose at the discomfort and slowly eased further onto it. You got halfway and stopped as you gasped. Your fingers curled around the seat and the toy.
“You’re doing good, honey,” his voice was smoky and you looked at yourself in the mirror. The phone blocked the bottom half of the toy but you could see your cunt around the top.
You bent your knees further and groaned as your walls strained around the dildo. Your eyes watered as it hit your cervix and you arched your back to take it as deep as you could. You cried out as you reached the base.
“Whoa, you really did it,” he mused, “fuck, you look good all stretched out.”
You whimpered and adjusted your legs as you tried not to slip.
“Well, you know what to do,” he motioned up and down with his fingers.
“Please,” you breathed, “I did--”
“Not done yet,” he said pointedly.
You huffed and lifted yourself carefully. You pushed back down and let out a moan as the toy grazed your walls. The fullness was overwhelming, a painful pressure laced with pleasure. You rocked your hips as you moved on your knees and gripped the edge of the stool, mindful not to shake the stool too much.
You closed your eyes as your breath hitched. You needed more. The toy could only do so much as your clit thrummed and the wetness spread down your thighs.
“Mmmm,” Sam came around you and snaked his arm down your front. He pushed his fingers between your swollen folds and circled your bud, “you like that, don’t you, honey?”
You whined as your nerves sparked at his fingertips and you sped up. He planted his foot on the crossbar to keep the stool from tipping and you rode out your orgasm as his touch spurred you on.
“Ah, fuck,” he pressed against your back, “I’m so fucking hard.”
You panted and opened your eyes. You looked at yourself in the mirror but quickly shied away. You were weak, so weak.
He stepped around you and reached for the lube. You watched him as you didn’t move from atop the toy and he rounded you again. He drizzled the lube between your cheeks and flung the lube away. He pushed his fingers along your ass and lingered on your tight ring. You winced and tried to lift yourself off the dildo.
He caught your shoulder and held you down.
“Again,” he ordered.
You glanced at him in the mirror and he gave you a stern look as his fingers tightened around your shoulder. You held your breath and began to fuck the toy again. He nuzzled the back of your head and poked against your ass until his finger slid inside. You cried out and his hand went to your neck as he urged you on.
“Ah, honey,” he whispered against your hair.
He drew his finger in and out of your ass as a burning pressure seared through you and added to that in your cunt.
“You can touch yourself,” he uttered as his fiery breath encircled you.
You did so without thinking. He pushed another finger into you and a squeak escaped your lips. You couldn’t help but delight in how the sensations mingled and bloomed to a new climax. He sped up in time with your hips and your legs shook as you came in a series of strangled mewls.
He kept on until you slowed to catch your breath. He slipped his fingers out of you and your head lolled as he removed his hand from your neck. You heard his zipper and as you looked back, his hand stretched across the back of your head and turned it straight. He bent so his head was next to yours and grasped your chin as he made you look at him in the mirror.
“One more time, honey,” he pulled his dick out and his tip brushed along your ass.
You tried to lift yourself off the toy but he hooked his arm around your middle and kept you on it.
“Sam, no, please,” you begged, “I can’t--”
“You can handle it all, honey,” he purred, “I know you can.”
His tip pressed to your ring as he forced you down on the toy. You exclaimed and he pushed until you stretched around the head of his cock. You gritted your teeth and threw your head back against his shoulder.
He pulled back and pushed in again. He got deeper with each slow thrust, an inch at a time, until you were filled by him and the toy. Your eyes welled and the tears trickled down your cheeks as you held onto the stool and grunted through each tilt of his hips.
He trailed his hand down between your legs and spread your folds as he flicked your clit with his middle finger. He moved you against him and on the toy. He pushed into as the dildo reached its limit and your voice grew louder and louder.
Through the agony, you couldn’t help but feel the unyielding tingle in your core and it crawled down your thighs and up your spine. The stool rocked with his motion but he kept you flush to him as he fucked you from behind. Your legs slipped over the side of the seat and you were impaled on the toy.
He didn’t let up as you gasped and gulped, whining as your cunt twitched around the silicone and you came as you reached back to scratch at his open jeans. He rutted into you without relent as he kneaded your thighs and his breath seared down your flesh.
“Ah, honey,” he muttered through his delighted groans, “goddamn, god-- shit, I’m gonna fill you up.”
He slammed into you as deep as he could and you felt him burst. He gave several long thrusts as rode out his orgasm and groaned. When he stilled he leaned against you and sighed.
“You can have the phone back,” he rasped as he caressed your thigh, “tomorrow.”

Stages - Part 2
Pairing: AU!Bucky x Reader
Word Count: 2,780
Summary: Bucky slowly realizes that he wants to cross the line of friendship with you.
A/N: Well, well, well. I obviously lost control and wrote a long-ass part lmfao
STAGES MASTERLIST || MAIN MASTERLIST
-
TWO: DENIAL
On the day you landed your first job, Nat decided that a night out must take place in order to celebrate. All your college friends were there: Bucky, Nat, Steve and Sam. All of you hopped from one bar to another, took body shots, played beer pong— basically, it was a crazy, wild night.
Knowing that you didn’t have the best tolerance for alcohol, Bucky kept his eye on you the entire night. He always made sure that you were safe whenever you all went clubbing and that night was no exception. Although he was extra protective of you and this didn’t go unnoticed.
“Someone do a body shot on me!” You screamed and hopped on top of the bar counter, earning cheers from everyone in the club.
“Quick, take a video of this!” Sam nudged Nat who immediately fished her phone out of her pocket.
Bucky restlessly stayed close to you to make sure that you weren’t going to do something stupid. You didn’t need to have alcohol in running in your system to do crazy shit, what more if you were actually shit-faced drunk.
“Put the salt on her tits!” Nat yelled.
Bucky glared at her and then turned to Steve with a shocked expression on his face, “What the actual fuck?”
Steve chuckled and shook his head, “Well, what’s new?”
More cheers erupted from the crowd when you sat on the bar counter and let the bartender dust some salt into your cleavage.
“Any volunteers?” He asked.
“I’ll take the shot.”
Bucky’s ears perked at the voice of a guy, probably around your age. He was tall and lean, he was good-looking to be honest. But Bucky didn’t like his aura. At all. He didn’t like how the guy eyed you from head to toe, how he licked his lips as he squeezed through the crowd to get to you like a predator stalking its prey.
The guy was up to no good, Bucky could tell.
“You ready?” The bartender asked you.
“I was born ready!” You exclaimed at the top of your lungs, eyes lidded as the amount of alcohol you’ve consumed began to take over your senses.
Bucky could feel his blood boil with how the guy was too touchy as he waited for the bartender to give him his shot. The way his hands squeezed your waist, how they slid lower so he could get a feel of your ass. Or how he kept on whispering to your ear, his lips brushing against your cheek as you merely chuckled in your drunken stupor.
The bartender handed the shot glass to the guy and it was at that moment that Bucky knew that he wasn’t going to let the guy have his way with you.
“Hell fucking no.” Bucky said and rushed over to you, snatching the shot glass from the guy and gulping it down in one go.
“No body shots tonight, everybody. Have a great night!” Bucky said as he ushered you away from the perv.
The crowd booed Bucky as he glared at the guy who looked ready to deck him. Thank god for Steve who placed a heavy hand on the guy’s shoulder, squeezing it as a warning.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Steve pointed out.
Bucky pushed you away from the crowd despite your protests, “The fuck is wrong with you?” You slurred.
Bucky deadpanned, “That sleazy fucker was about to swallow your tits.” He said, sitting you down on one of the couches in the club.
You pouted, “I have salt all over my boobs.” You said, looking down at your cleavage before looking up at Bucky through your lashes as he stood in front of you.
Bucky blushed at how fucking innocent you looked, something he never really noticed about you until now. The way your eyes fluttered in an attempt to keep them open, how your cheeks were flushed from the tequila running through your body.
“Well, if you didn’t volunteer to do a fucking body shot then you wouldn’t have that problem.” Bucky scolded you, turning to Steve and grabbing the glass of water he had brought for you to drink.
“Here, drink.” Bucky instructed you, pushing the glass of water into your face.
You shook your head, “Clean it up first.” you told him.
“Clean what?” Bucky asked.
“The salt on my boobs. Clean it.” you said with a pout, finally drinking the glass of water and burping out loud afterwards, making Bucky cringe.
“Fuck no, wipe it off with a tissue. I’m not licking salt off of your chest.” He said.
“You’re no fun, Barnes.” You huffed out. “Imma go...fuck...I wanna throw up.” You hiccupped and stood up, wobbling your way towards the bathroom.
Bucky approached Nat and nagged her to follow you into the bathroom to make sure you were fine.
“You know, you’re acting strange.” Nat observed with a sly grin. “If I didn’t know any better I’d think you’re in love with your best friend.” She teased.
“First of all, that’s gross. And second, everyone knows how much of a pain in my ass she is when drunk. I’m preventing said pain in my ass, that’s all.” Bucky defended. “Now go and follow her, make sure she throws up in the toilet and not on the ground.” Bucky said and pushed Nat towards the direction of the bathroom.
“Fuck no, I’m not cleaning up her mess. Why don’t you go instead?” Nat complained before walking away.
Bucky? In love with you?
“Me? In love with her? Gross.” Bucky uttered under his breath, unable to notice that Nat was smirking as she walked away and disappeared into the dance floor.
Bucky snapped out of his trance when he heard Sam’s voice calling for him. He grunted when he looked around and saw that Nat had disappeared. Looking over at Sam who was watching drunken girls squeal as they rushed out of the bathroom, he figured out that you failed to reach the toilet before actually puking.
Running a hand through his hair, Bucky quickly ran to the bathroom and sighed when he saw you kneeling by the entrance, your vomit pooling around your knees.
“Good god.” he huffed and bent over to pick you up, “I fucking knew you wouldn’t make it. C’mere.” he said and brought you over to the sink.
Bucky made sure to hold your hair, keeping it away from your face as you continued to throw up for the next minute.
“You’re disgusting, Christ.” Bucky said as he watched you heave out a couple more times before whining.
“My throat is burning and the world is spinning.” you sang, gripping onto the edge of the sink to steady yourself.
Seeing how fucking drunk you were, Bucky turned on the faucet and began cleaning you up almost drowning you when he continuously splashed water onto your face. He then took out his handkerchief, soaked it in water and began wiping your arms and legs which had remnants of your vomit.
“Bucky.” you slurred as you leaned against the sink while Bucky was bent down, cleaning up your legs.
He hummed in response but didn’t say anything.
“Buckyyy, bonky boo...booboo...” you giggled.
Bucky looked up at you with a confused look on his face, “The fuck are you saying?”
“Are you my boyfriend?” you suddenly asked.
“How many fucking shots did you take?” Bucky asked as he stood up, unable to bite back his amusement at your antics.
“What’s your shirt made of, huh? Boyfriend material? ‘Cause you look like a boyfriend...my boyfriend.” you said and laughed, throwing your head back.
Bucky felt his heart flutter as he gazed at you with a certain glint in his eyes. You looked so carefree with your head thrown back as you laughed. Even with your face all wet from the water and your hair sticking on your forehead, you looked really pretty. Hell, you smelled like vomit and yet Bucky found himself adoring you as you kept giggling and slurring your words.
Nat’s words rang in his head like an alarm, sending his senses into overdrive and panic.
If I didn’t know any better I’d think you’re in love with your best friend.
As if it was all the wake up call that he needed, Bucky’s eyes went wide as he shook his head.
“Fuck no.” he said as he stared at you, neck and ears red at all the weird thoughts crowding his brain.
He began slapping your cheek gently, “You look ugly and you smell like vomit. Definitely not girlfriend material.” he said and it was most likely directed at himself rather than at you.
As if he was reminding himself that you were still the same girl in college who had the ugliest haircut he had ever seen.
-
“God, I fucking hate these heels.” You complained as you bent down to fix the strap while you gripped Bucky’s arm for support.
“Maybe if you actually listened to me and bought the other pair I showed you, you wouldn’t be whining like a fucking bitch.” Bucky complained as he watched you fiddle with the straps every now and then.
“That pair was hideous!” You told Bucky as you straightened up, your hand still wrapped around his arm.
“Hideous but comfortable. Don’t make me fucking carry you when you finally decide to give up on those damn shoes.” He said, waving over at the waiter passing by to grab some champagne.
Bucky frowned when he saw someone arrive at the reception of your cousin’s wedding. He quickly handed you the glass of champagne, “You’re gonna need this.” He whispered, tipping his head towards your father who just showed up.
You knew that your father will be attending your cousin’s wedding, it was the reason why your mom who was supposedly your plus one, decided not to go. So automatically, you had asked Bucky to accompany you knowing that you’ll be seeing your father again after the divorce, ten years ago.
If only you didn’t love your cousin, you would’ve ditched her wedding for sure.
Your breath hitched when you followed the direction of Bucky’s eyes. True enough, your father was there and he wasn’t alone; someone younger was clutching his arm, smiling sheepishly at your aunts and uncles that your father had approached. You downed the champagne in one go and wished it was enough to loosen up your nerves.
“Can you stop squeezing my arm?” Bucky asked, feeling your fingers clench around his elbow tightly.
Your grip on Bucky tightened even more when your father’s gaze landed on you. The closer he got to where you and Bucky stood, the tighter you held onto Bucky.
“Breathe.” Bucky bent down to whisper to you as he gently removed your hand from his arm so he could place it on the small of your back for support.
“Wow. Hi.” Your father greeted you with a smile. He glanced over at Bucky and tipped his head in acknowledgment.
Bucky offered a tight-lipped smile before focusing his attention on you. You looked pale, not even your make-up managed to give color to your face at that moment.
“How have you been? It’s been...so long.” Your father asked and Bucky could tell that the question was genuine.
But he also knew that you hated your father with a passion and that no matter how sincere he would be, it wouldn’t be enough for you to forgive him. It was as if you spaced out and if Bucky hadn’t gently tapped your back, you wouldn’t have responded.
“I’m good.” You stated, voice small and shaky.
Bucky noticed that your father too didn’t know what to do or say. The both of you just remained still with unspoken questions hanging in the air. The woman beside your father must’ve felt that awkward atmosphere and cleared her throat.
“Hi, I’m Diana. It’s nice to finally meet you.” She chirped and extended a hand.
Bucky watched as your eyes slowly went from Diana’s face down to her hand where two rings sat on her finger, one with a princess-cut diamond and the other, a simple silver band but with tiny diamonds studded around it.
“You’re married?” You asked your father, leaving Diana’s hand hanging in the air awkwardly.
“You actually remarried.” You bitterly chuckled. “For how long?” You asked.
Bucky’s hand on your back was now wrapped around your waist, keeping you steady on your feet.
Your father opened his mouth but nothing came out. It was then that Bucky understood the gravity of the situation. You’d told him about your parents’ divorce, how they slowly started to lose interest in each other and how they ended up fighting daily. All these years you thought that it was a simple falling out, that one day they both woke up knowing that they no longer loved each other.
Diana straightened her posture, “Ten years.” She responded.
All hell broke loose.
A string of hushed curses escaped from your mouth as you angrily addressed your father’s betrayal. You’d been angry at him for giving up on your mom that easily, for not fighting for your custody...for simply disappearing from your life after the divorce.
All this time you’d been angry at him for all the wrong reasons.
He’d been cheating on your mom. It was the reason why he had signed the papers immediately and without any hesitation. You couldn’t understand why your mom hid this from you, why she never told you the real reason why she filed for a divorce.
“I will never ever fucking forgive you.” It was the last thing you said before running out of the venue, your painful heels long forgotten.
Bucky ran after you and grabbed your arm, stopping you in the middle of the hotel lobby. You thought he was going to reprimand you for being rude to your father or that he was going to ask you to go back to the reception and finish the program out of respect. But instead, Bucky bent down and started to unbuckle the straps of your heels.
“If you’re going to dramatically walk out, make sure you won’t fall flat on your fucking face. That shit’s embarrassing as fuck.” Bucky said and carefully removed your heels.
He knew you were holding back your tears and he honestly thought that the dam was going to break. But remained stubborn and managed to suppress your emotions. For some reason, Bucky wanted to pull you into his embrace and tell you that it was okay to cry.
“Go forth and walk out.” Bucky dramatically told you, motioning towards the grand double doors of the hotel.
A smile. Bucky felt proud for making you smile despite the tension a few minutes ago. He watched you chuckle at his gesture and Bucky couldn’t help but laugh along.
“C’mon, let’s go buy some burgers. Food here is shit anyway.” He told you as he began to walk towards the exit.
However, you remained standing behind him with a frown as you stooped down to your feet. Bucky grunted, “Please don’t tell me—“
“My feet hurt.” You told him.
Bucky rolled his eyes but walked back towards you, groaning as he turned on his back and bent down, “Hop on, bitch.”
You quickly jumped on his back and wrapped your arms around his neck, grabbing your heels from Bucky’s hand so he could carry you properly, “And I thought you said you wouldn’t carry me.” You teased.
“Knowing how much of a whiny bitch you are, I’d rather carry your heavy ass than deal with your complaints.”
Bucky bit back the smile that had been tugging at his lips. He could smell your shampoo at how close your face was to him, could feel the smoothness of your legs as he held onto them; how you held onto him.
“Thank you, Bucky.” You told him ever so softly, voice barely above a whisper.
He knew that you weren’t just thanking him for carrying you. You were also grateful for him simply being there when things went to shit with your father. If he wasn’t there, you probably wouldn’t know how to deal with the situation. And you appreciated how he didn’t stop you from your outburst, how he didn’t force you to go back in and apologize for the scene you had caused.
Bucky supported you in all the ways you needed him to support you.
“Anything for you.” Bucky replied, but only in his mind because he wasn’t quite ready to face the truth.
The truth that his heart was beginning to flutter whenever you were around.

"We're all just really good beans at the end of the day." "Why did you hit me? That hurt so much!" "Sorry, I've been in jail a while." "My arm really hurts. Do you have any first aid?" "I just got off the big train in the sky." "This is my Smash invitation and frankly, I deserve it." "It was gonna be a surprise for your birthday, motherfucker!" "Jesus, everyone is so rude. What is this, Rude Mountain?" "This mountain fucking sucks." "I'm here to be rude to people." "I think this is sus. He's definitely the impostor." "As a gamer, I know all about Among Us." "Is this...Tamriel?" "Well, that's a cliff." "No, you got arms!" "I don't speak corn." "Grab my stinky hand!" "I will live on in the vibes!" "No, that's too fast! Oh, god!" "2x4? You're not even a 1x1." "You look so stupid right now." "Hehe, I'm under the bed now!" "It was for a prank video. Come on!" "It's fine, honestly. She has a blanket." "Women never listen to me when I talk..." "Everything's a big deal when you make it." "Oh my god she has pants! What the fuck?!" "No one told me I was wearing pants today!" "It's pretty cold because it's DEAD of winter!" "Hey, tree! Look at me, I'm looming right now!" "Not a blanket, but maybe I can keep you warm." "This fuckin' candle doesn't keep me warm at all.” "At least you're not calling it 'arm pants' this time." "Oh, wow! SHE'S looming! Oh, she can teach me!" "I don't want to play any of your Among Us games." "I have this weird feeling someone's looming around here." "Answer a question for me: how are you feeling today? YEAH!" "Well now, wise guy. Let's see who among us really is the funniest." "Helloooo there! I am Doctor Rabbit. The world's only rabbit rabbit." "Whoa, that guy was straight up looming! I wish I could loom like that.” "Was that that Anus Unnus guy?" "Hey, babe, you wanna go and record a blog with me?" "So are my pranks as good as Markiplier?" "Wait, when did they get the hugging perk?!" "See, that's what I think of your problems, is that they're just some sort of joke." "Got in real trouble with the locals, I did. They don't let me back there." "Maybe you're just trying to be woke or something." "Your insurance isn't covering these sessions, by the way." "We can send, like, aura to each other. You know like, uh, vibes." "I don't guess, I know. I never guess, I know everything. I do the math." "Two plus two equals you're my friend. Just kidding, it's four." "I just hurt all of my bones." "High five? No, you're too far away. My bad." "Did you solve my wolverine puzzle?" "Did you know doors hurt?" "Everyone has a raccoon!" "Why don't you keep it to yourself, tough guy?" "Save the fight until I have the camera ready, okay?" "That's not a view, that's a snow." "I think you're in the corridor of the monkey." "If you throw that me, I'm gonna fuckin' flip my goddamn lid." "You want some snow, bitch?!" "Lady? Girl? ...I should really learn her name." "Water's looking a little green, that's just the way I like it." "Did the ghosts take my friends again?" "I'm actually half ghost." "Is that a lightsaber? Like from Star Trek?" "I'm gonna level with you, I hate being in the same room as you." "BOOOOOOOOOOOK!" "You like the new office? I fuckin' don't." "You didn't read through the contract, did you kiddo?" "I can get fucked? Finally!" "Even the ghost agrees." "I should have fucking known. This ghost is such a libro." "That's great and all, but I'm gonna look like a jackass!" "This is what happens when you pull mean pranks. God punishes an elk." "THAT was a HEALING spell?! Oh god!" "Door key? You're pretty dorky!" "I can imagine a lot of dipshits, in fact." "Get un-naked! Get un-naked! Get un-naked! Get un-naked!" "I'm casting a hex on you now. Have fun getting hexed, idiot." "See? The Kinect causes psychic powers." "I can't believe Blue's freakin' clue is on here." "Ugh...I freaking hate doors." "Blue save me..." "Telling them the vibes made you do it won't hold up in a court of law." "Oh, would you look at the time. It's time for me to rip you a new one again!" "I cannot wait, but I suppose I'll have to." "The hex worked great. Now let's see if I can go shoot what remains of her." "I love running through the forest like a fucking weirdo." "You look like an idiot on the ground there." "If I have anything to say about it, you won't make it back." "I wanna see you, whatever you are, you funny-looking fellow." "Why do I have so much trouble with doors?" "Hey, funny voice! Fuck off, please!" "It's a saw trap, you dumb piece of shit!"
"Seems mysterious, but I won't shoot him this time. Gotta weaken him with the hex." "You're gonna get fucked if you can't say goodbye to a ghost. Trust me on that one." "Hey, uh, do you wanna stop having trouble with doors, now'd be a phantasmical time!" "Unless you want to work with me here, well...we're gonna be stuck here until dawn." "Not like you've ever done anything on purpose in your entire life, you fucking hack." "What, not even a goddamn laugh? Oh, it's gonna be a rough fuckin' couple weeks." "I can't believe I made it up to Rude Mountain only to be discovered by rude people." "I've got all my gamerscore on my phone, so I'm hoping that nobody really touched it.” "That's pretty cringe of you, buddy. I'm gonna put you in my Cringe Tuesday compilation." "If I wanted to talk about beans, I'd hang around with the fuckin' Among Us crew down there." "You know what? I have two arms, so I guess I CAN carry both of them at the same time." "I just got my lips unstuck. Aw, geez. I've been trying to talk to you guys this whole time." "I left some beans in my backpack. They might be a few years old, but they don't really expire." "I should've known that coming to Rude Mountain would have made you worse as a person." "I've just been playing a lot of Among Us recently and I've just been trying to really get good at lying. "Oh, so NOW you're a funny guy, huh? You think you got your own jokes?! Ya think this is stand up?!" "I have blankets in the back, but I'm gonna go to the front just to see if I can spice things up a little." "I'm here to help you, and whaddya do? You spit in my goddamn face! ...Metaphorically, of course.” "What do you take me for, some kind of clown?! Some kind of Boo Boo the Fool that ain't done this rodeo before?!" "Here at therapy we're here to answer the one big burning question everyone's got: what the FUCK is wrong with you?" "I noticed you don't have much of a sense of humor. That might explain all the shit you've gotten into recently, wouldn't it?" "Well with my ten step plan I'll be happy to go plumb the depths of your sad, scared little mind and see what makes you...tick, as it were."

When Night Comes - Prologue
arrangement by @kaexloey • credit to all OPs, do not repost.
Genre: Vampire!AU
Rated: M, 18+
Word count: ~1.7k
TW: mild sexual themes, language, violence/gore, blood, mentions of alcohol & intoxication
As Sana opens the door to the dive bar, she is immediately hit with the smell of cheap alcohol and cigarettes. Taking a look around the bar, everything perfectly matches the smell. There are plenty of gross looking men (and women, for that matter) all over and in various states of intoxication.
“Ugh, I hate these fucking bars. Why did he have to be at a shitty place like this,” Sana mutters to herself as she takes her phone out of the back pocket of her jeans.
Unlocking the phone, she opens her photos app to a specific picture of a tall, fair skinned man with blonde hair and green eyes. He's smiling directly into the picture without a hint of anything he does in his free time. Looking up from the phone with her temper already boiling, she begins to scan the room in search of the man in the photo.
It doesn't take too long as her eyes settle on the handsome man deep into conversation with the unsuspecting bartender. "Got you, motherfucker," Sana says to herself with a villainous smile as she makes her way over towards the bar.
As she walks towards the bar, a pair of eyes watches her closely from the other side of the room. The unseen person slowly takes a sip of her drink as she watches Sana approach the bar next to the blonde-haired man.
"So that's when I said, 'I'll have whatever he's having!’" Sana rolls her eyes as she hears the punchline of what was no doubt a terrible joke from the man she was searching for, feeling bad for the bartender that has to act like she likes this in order to boost her tips.
"I'll have a Jack & Coke on the rocks," Sana says to the bartender, giving her a look to know she'll be taking this idiot off her hands for the rest of the night. The bartender looks incredibly grateful for the gesture, mouthing "thank you" before turning to make the drink.
Within seconds of settling onto the barstool, Sana can feel the man already burning the side of her face with his intense gaze. "Just push through, Sana. You need this," she quickly says in her head as a way to work up the courage to continue on.
“I haven’t seen you in here before, blondie. You must be new in town. I would have for sure remembered a face like that,” he says to Sana, raising his voice to get above the chatter of the crowd inside the bar. Her skin crawls slightly at his cheesy pickup line as she gathers herself to respond.
“Somewhat. I’ve been here a few months, but just thought I would try somewhere new. Can’t find many men as hot as you at my usual spots,” she responds, hoping that she didn’t lay it on too thick with the comment. Thankfully, this guy is as dense as he seems, not noticing at all that she’s obviously just leading him on.
“Well, you’re not wrong there. How about we get another round on me?”
Sana really would rather not spend more time talking with him than she absolutely has to, but in order for this to work, she knows she needs him to drink a bit more. She begrudgingly obliges as the drinks flow for three more rounds. By this point, the man is pretty drunk. Not drunk enough to blackout, but certainly too drunk to drive. Which is all Sana needs.
“Alright, alright,” Sana says into the man’s ear after he tries to push the date to a fourth round. “As much as I would love another drink, how about we call it a night and get out of here? I know a perfect place.”
“Shit, you don’t have to tell me twice. Let’s go,” he responds, while fishing his car keys out of his jeans.
“Not a chance in hell. No way are you driving us anywhere like this,” Sana says as she snatches the keys from his hands.
“Hey, you had just as much as I di-,” he begins to say in protest as you put a finger up to his lips to silence him. “I’ll be just fine, trust me,” Sane replies, hoping that he buys it without further explanation.
Once again, the guy is too dense to notice much of anything as he simply shrugs and grabs her hand as the pair head out of the bar into the misty night air.
Getting him to the car wasn’t much of a struggle, as he was perfectly content to lean as close as possible into Sana’s body to steady his stumbling feet. As she slammed his door shut and made her way around to the driver’s side, Sana took a quick look around, making sure no one saw her getting into the man’s car. Not a single soul was spotted on the empty street, giving her enough peace of mind to see this through.
As she got into the car and started the engine, a pair of eyes once again was keenly watching her every move. A few seconds after Sana pulls the Audi out into traffic and down the street, a black BMW slowly falls into place half a dozen car lengths behind.
After a painfully long 30-minute drive filled with plenty of handsy advances from her passenger, Sana pulls the car up to the seaside cliff she had previously scoped out. She puts the car in park and shuts off the engine before turning in her seat to face her passenger.
“How did you find out about this place? Seems kind of random. Hey, were your eyes always that red?” he asks her as he undoes his own seatbelt with an inquisitive look on his face.
“Don’t worry about it. All you should care about is making this a night neither of us will wanna forget,” Sana responds, internally cringing at the ridiculousness of her words. She always hates this part of these encounters. As she utters her response, the man seems to catch a glimpse of something flashing in her red eyes before his expression seems to go slack.
Sana then crawls over the center console and into the backseat, making sure to jut out her ass to give him an enticing view. When he seems to hesitate for a few moments, she quickly takes off her shirt and tosses it into his face in the front seat.
This seems to be all the encouragement he needs as he quickly snaps out of his trancelike state and climbs into the backseat with far too much eagerness for her taste. Swallowing her own hesitation, she then crushes her lips into his, allowing herself to get lost in the moment. He may be an asshole, but she was going to let herself enjoy this, even if briefly.
Sana feels his hands slide up her waist towards her semi-exposed breasts, completely bringing her out of the moment as she remembers who he is and what he did. She then feels something take over her senses as she pulls back from the kiss to get a better look at his neck. Her vision begins to pulse and it’s as if she can see his blood pumping through his veins.
A slow, sinister smile begins to spread across her moonlit face.
“How about we take this a bit furth-,” he begins before his sentence is cut off by a searing pain in his neck.
As he was beginning to mutter his advance, Sana was seeing red and finally exposes her fangs. She slowly ran her tongue along them, taking one last whiff of the intoxicating smell before swiftly latching onto his neck.
The man’s guttural scream is cut short as her fangs sink deeper and deeper into his neck, Sana attempting to suck out as much blood as she can in her first few swallows. It takes less than a minute before he loses consciousness, his body going into shock. By the time 20 minutes has passed, any traces of life have completely left his body. She continues to drain his body until she’s finally had her fill.
Feeling satisfied, Sana sits up and wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. As she leans into the front seat to grab her shirt, she looks down and catches a glimpse of her bra, noticing the blood that’s smeared all over it.
“Fuck. I just bought this last night!” she curses out loud, annoyed at the carelessness of wearing brand new clothes out tonight. Before she has too much time to berate herself, a pair of headlights illuminate the interior of the car. She quickly grabs her things and hops back out into the cool air.
Just as she slams the door shut, she hears the tires of the black BMW screech to a halt along the dirt road.
"It's about fucking time, Sana! The sun is up in a couple hours and the crew still needs time to clean up your mess. You always cut this shit so close."
"Calm down, Momo. We have plenty of time to get back before dawn. You worry too much."
"Maybe if you actually followed the rules for once in your life, I wouldn’t have to worry so much," Momo responds with an annoyed look on her face.
Sana rolls her eyes at the insinuation. “Whatever. I follow the stupid rules just fine. Let's just get the fuck out of here, okay?"
As Sana gets into the passenger seat, Momo doesn’t even wait for Sana to get her seatbelt on before she throws the car into gear and speeds off down the road.
It was at about this point that Sana used to feel guilt for taking the life of a stranger. Looking into the mirror in front of her, she sees that her eyes have gone back to their normal, warm brown tint.
“Eh, he was a piece of shit anyways,” she thinks to herself with a sly smile as the car lurches forward towards their estate.

God, she was beautiful. Everyday, same time, she’d wander her way into the coffee shop I worked at, always ordering the same thing. Unless she was having a bad day, then she would order black coffee. She’d always have a book with her, and she’d always go to the same spot. The chair on the left in front of the fireplace.
Ever since she first walked in, she was the focus of my attention. She was so kind. She would always leave more than two dollars in the tip jar, and always used her manners, which was hard to find, especially in a fast paced community like Cleveland.
Whenever she would find her way into the little shit-hole of a coffee shop, she would always find a way to suck all the air out of my lungs. The way she moved... the way she smiled. The way her lip would curl if she was concentrated on a book too hard.
But sometimes, rarely, she would walk in with someone. He always held her a little too close, a little too hard. And the bright sparkles she would have in her eyes when she came in alone would disappear. But even if she didn’t look at me, tucked under his arm, I could always hear a faint ‘thank you’ fall from her lips when I would hand the coffee to her.
He was bad for her. But how could I make her see that? But of course, like for everything else, I had a plan. A plan that had to work.
The little bell above the door ringed and I glanced at the clock.
7:30, on the dot. Just like clockwork.
She looked so beautiful. God, what I wouldn’t give to-
“Heyy, how are you doing?” I greeted, cheerfully, hoping she would return the energy. But she didn’t.
“I’m fine.” she replied shortly.
She had never spoken to me like this. And I didn’t like it. Not one bit.
“Just fine?” I kept up the act, hoping my irritation didn’t slip through my tone.
She clutched her book tighter, obviously not wanting to talk. Communication was important to me, and this was obviously something we would need to work on after the plan was put into place.
She wouldn’t even make eye contact with me.
“So uh... What can I get you?” I asked, watching her small fingers mess with the sleeves of her sweater. I always noticed that was a tick that would happen if she became anxious. Or if she was around... him.
“Coffee. Black.” it was a short two worded command and it made my blood boil and if I were a cartoon, steam would most definitely be coming out of my ears, by face beet-red.
She only ordered black coffee on her harder days, and it usually had something to do with him.
Her hair draped over her face, her beautiful fucking face. She usually had it tucked behind her cute little ear, which I always found completely adorable. Either that, or it was placed in a messy bun, a smile visible on her face.
But today was a stark contrast.
“Okay then, black it is. I’ll just take it to your usual spot...,” I muttered, my cheery tone obviously disintegrating with every word.
She gave a single nod, going to her chair, a royal blue cushioned chair that the owner bought from an antique store. I had to admit, once I found out that she took a special liking to the chair, I took it home and fixed it up. All for her.
My thoughts began to wander. What did he do this time. It always pissed me off that I had to refer to it as ‘this time’. It shouldn’t have happened at all. I don’t even know why she even looked that douchebag’s direction.
I took the phone out of my pocket. Now was my chance to help her. To take her somewhere better. To take care of her. I placed in some sugar into her coffee., turning my head to see if her was looking. But she wasn’t. As always, she was enveloped in her book again, always in a world of her own.
What that stupid bitch of a boyfriend didn’t know, was that he left his phone here. He bought a new one, of course, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t use it after the cell service was turned off.
When I found the pictures, my world turned red. Message upon message of him flirting, and even a couple nudes. I hated him, I fucking hated him.
But my plan? It had to work.
I pressed the post button.
I put the warm mixture into a cup, a blue mug, as it was her favorite color, and set the cup on a saucer, walking over to her, careful not to disturb her, part of me anxiously wanting to see if she had her lip curled in, her teeth scraping across the soft skin of her lips.
I lightly tapped her one the shoulder, making her jump. Usually, I would be obsessed with the fact I was able to touch her. But it would never make up for what I really wanted to do to her.
She gave a soft smile before I set down the mixture on the table in front of her. I then sat down into the chair closest to her, leaning over, trying to catch a glimpse of the cover of her book.
“So, what are you reading?” I asked gently, trying to start friendly conversation, hoping that would help.
I’m not going to let him turn this into a dark coffee kind of day. I wouldn’t let him dictate how tonight went. This was supposed to be perfect.
“A romance novel.” she answered plainly, giving a real, genuine smirk.
If there was one thing in the world that could cheer my princess up, it was talking about books. Once, we had an hour long debate on which was better: Lord of the Flies or To Kill a Mockingbird. It always cheered her up, no matter what that bastard did to her.
She picked up the mug, taking a small sip. She made a face.
“I know it wasn’t what you ordered, but you look like you could use some sweetness in your life right now. I know you do,” I quipped, referring to the sugar I added last minute.
I can read you like an open book. More than he ever could.
I reached over, tucking her hair behind her ear gently, knowing that she wouldn’t pull away. If fact, she almost leaned into my touch, making my heart burst.
As she reached her hand up, the sleeve of her seater dropped. And that’s when I saw it. A deep bruise, a hand shaped bruise was apparent on her arm. But once she noticed that I saw it, she pulled away, trying to cover it up.
You don’t need to cover up around me, princess.
I grabbed her hand, looking at the deep purple of the bruise and I wanted to find the fucker right then and there and kill him. Slit his throat. And have the last thing he saw before he lost his life be my emotionless face as he-
“Colson, stop, you’re hurting me,” she cringed, trying to pull away from the now tight grip I had on her wrist.
SHIT
“oh fuck, sorry, I... I really didn’t mean to, I’m so sorry,” I apologized profusely.
Just like planned, her phone lit up, and she pulled her hand away, and I almost verbally whined at the loss of contact.
She checked her phone, and she let out a small pathetic whimper. She almost dropped her phone.
There, on the screen, was a post. An instagram post. Pictures of conversations, nudes, and other things. But I knew my girl would see it before it was taken down. But why would I care what happened to the account.
Because it wasn’t my account to begin with. It was his.
“Hey, is everything okay?” I asked. Now it was time for the real theatrics. My next choice of words could make or break the situation.
“H-He... He-” She couldn’t get a word out, her words wavering. Her tears began to fall, and it killed me to see her like this, but it was necessary. It had to happen.
“Come here,” I muttered, and she leaned into my embrace. My arms wrapped around her.
Jesus fuck she smelled so good.
She leaned into me, crying into my chest, and I held her close. We sat there for what felt like eternity. Thank god the shop was empty. She always came when it was empty.
I suddenly felt something against my neck
I felt her plush lips against my neck. Soft, supple kisses against my throat almost sent me into a frenzy.
I looked down at her, fake shock on my face, and she almost looked embarrassed.
“S-Sorry... I just... I don’t know what I was-”
Stop talking.
I cut her off. I kissed her. And oh my god, I could have cum right then and there. It managed to be more perfect than any fantasy I had ever come up with prior. God... so perfect. How could anyone hurt something this beautiful, this precious.
I swiped my tongue across her pearly white teeth, requesting access into her mouth, and she thankfully complied. I wouldn’t want to take her by force after all.
It was etherial. She tasted like peaches, and honey, and birthday cake. He scent enveloped me, and it took over my senses, making me want her more and more.
My hands drifted up her sides, her arms wrapping around my neck. The kiss turned more heated once her small hands traveled up my stomach, under my shirt.
I pulled back and smirked at her, “Are you sure you wanna start something you can’t finish?”
Returning the same energy, she muttered, “You know it,” before making a bold move, lips attaching to my jaw, a groan finding its way out of my mouth.
She was so beautiful like this. She was exactly where she was supposed to be. And I was going to make sure she never thought otherwise.
Let me praise you. Let me show you your worth. You won’t remember him. Ever. I’ll make sure of it.
I then picked her up, making her let out a playful squeal, and I gushed. She was so adorable. I carried her to the back room, setting her on a table in front of me. So pretty for me like this.
I pulled out a rope from the corner of the storage room. I always had to be prepared after all. I was prepared for everything. Anything for my princess.
I tied her wrists tight, making her whimper. But I knew she liked it. How could she not? I then took the remaining length of the rope, tying her up like a present. All for me. Just for me.
I gave her a quick peck to her lips, and I could tell she wanted to touch me, her ankle wrapping around one of my legs, in an attempt to pull me closer.
“Heal me,” she whispered, her lips inches from mine.
And heal her I would.
I grazed my hands up and down her body, taking in every curve, every crevice. Every flaw. Flaw. There were no flaws on her. Not on my princess. She would never have a flaw. And I would make her believe it too.
I did something barbaric. But something I’d always wanted to do. I ripped her shirt, the piece of clothing giving a sharp, satisfying tear. I marveled at her covered breasts. Even though the bra was in the way, her breasts looked beautiful. All pushed up and perfect for me.
I then proceeded to strip the rest of her, soaking in the soft whimpers and noises that spilled from her lips. God, her lips.
As soon as she was fully naked, I stood back and looked at her. She was the most stunning thing I had ever seen. A goddess among men. A being to precious for this Earth.
I don’d deserve her. But I do at the same time. I had gone through so much shit in my life, I felt like this was God’s way of payment. And he didn’t disappoint.
A needy whine pulled me from my thoughts, and I met her perfect gaze once again.
“Colson, please. Please t-touch me,” she squirmed, and it was euphoric to hear my name roll off her tongue so easily.
It was enough to make me crack, my body stalking towards her, my head buried in her neck, breathing her in, my hands finally going down where she needed me most. It was so nice to hear her breath hitch the way it did.
My fingers dragged slowly though her folds, making her let out a needy and erotic mewl, her head leaning on my shoulder in turn.
“You make such pretty noises,” I grumbled against her ear, making her buck her hips desperately towards my hand.
If only she knew the ideas she had though my head. To her, I was just the friendly guy in the coffee shop she when to sometimes. But now I finally felt recognized and payed attention to.
I slipped a finger into her tight cunt, making her whine, making blood flow south. Her noises really were amazing.
I pumped at a fair speed, her forehead attached to my shoulder like it was glued. My fingers were in perfect sync to the bucking of her hips, and it made my painfully hard.
After a few minutes of listening to her moan and whine as my fingers slid against her velvety walls, I wanted to be inside her. Make her feel more pleasure then she had ever felt. I was better the him. And I always fucking will be.
How dare he touch my princess. How dare he hurt her. You treated her like a dog. Now I’ll treat her like a goddess.
I undid my belt, not even bothering to pull them down all the way, just enough so my cock could breathe, and I watched as she shifted her gaze towards it. To this day, I swear I saw her drooling.
She really did want this, didn’t she?
I teased her, the tip running across her cunt, making her whimper in need. A need for me. Only me. I held her close, her head in the crook of my neck.
I slowly pushed into her, leaving comforting kisses on her head. As soon as I was fully inside her, I watched as her face contorted in the most delicious way, her mouth making the perfect little ‘o’.
“So beautiful, princess, look at you. So perfect like this, all for me, all mine,” I whispered harshly against the shell of her ear.
And I would make sure that the only name she could remember was mine, not his, or anyone else’s.
Not even her own.
*****
After 3, long, beautiful, delicious rounds, I felt as if I was on top of the world. No words could describe the euphoria I felt when I came inside her for the first time. The sounds she made. The praise she let fall from her lips.
And when she took the mixed cum from her pussy onto her fingers and placed them in her mouth... I was hard again in seconds.
After we both calmed down, I knew that there was no way I was ever letting her go.

Pairing: Suna Rintarou x Reader
Summery: Suna and [Y/N] are from rival clans and they‘re suppose despise eachother but they met in college and they kiss kiss fall in love 👍
——————————————————————————— ‘Mm, I’ll just go to my dorm after class,’ Shoving her phone into her pocket, the girl walked with her classmates to the hall for her next subject.
“So, I heard you’re from the [L/N] clan,” A blonde asked her while passing by.
‘Obviously I am. Are you stupid or are you just forgetful and forgot most people call me by my last name,’
“Yeah. And…you are?” The blonde looked at her like he saw a ghost. Everyone knew who he was, every girl in the campus fawns over him, maybe occasionally boy’s too, like he’s a god or something. Though, just from his amazing looks, you might think he is god.
“Miya, Miya Atsumu,” The female nodded and noted it down in her brain. Even though they might never see eachother again because of Atsumu’s friend group. A voice was heard calling for the blonde’s name behind them.
“Tsumu, ya wanna go help Rin get his dorm number after your class or are we doing it without ya?” The lookalike but with grey hair instead of blonde said, eyeing the girl but quickly looked back at Atsumu right after. [Y/N] quickly turned away and walked to the hall, not wanting to be called nosy for listening onto people’s conversations.

“Oh, hi!!” A blonde haired girl greeted [Y/N] after opening the door to dorm 0469. Her hair was tied up into a small one sided ponytail to the left with a couple matching star clips. Her big brown eyes looking at the female while holding the door open for her new dorm mate, seemingly excited to have a person to share the spacious dorm with.
“Hi,” The [H/C] girl greeted back with the complete opposite energy, bringing her suitcase into the room. Looking around the place to see that it has a living room and a kitchen. Not too small, just enough for maybe two pairs of people to be in?
“I’m Yachi Hitoka! Nice to meet you, roomie!” [Y/N] cringed slightly at the girl’s ecstatic tone and being called ‘roomie’ Turning around to fully face the blonde properly, she mentally noted how the girl was small and cute. Like a hyper puppy happy to see it’s owner.
“E-erm, [L/N] [Y/N]. Nice to meet you too,” Getting flustered at the thought that she just compared the blonde she just met to an excited puppy, the girl stumbled with her words as her new roommate practically beamed at her when she heard [Y/N]’s voice.
“Ah, S-sorry. I’m probably invading your personal space,” Backing up to give [Y/N] space, Hitoka chuckled awkwardly and rubbed her arm. “I-it’s fine,”

“SUNARIN!!! YOU BASTARD YOU’RE FINALLY HERE-“
“SHUT UP TSUMU!”
Kita Shinsuke sighed at the twins. He walked toward the raven haired male and gave him a pat in the shoulder. “Wanna get to your dorm now?”
Looking at the black tipped hair man with his hand busy holding his phone and recording the twins fighting to get his luggage. “Mm, sure. Who am I sharing the dorm with tho?”
“Of course it’s your’s trul- OI,”
“It’s me,”
Aran said, cutting off the blonde twin along with the grey haired one hitting the back of his head. “Atsumu failed to get the receptionist to make you share a room with him so I’m sharing with you,” The black toned man said pointing at the pouting Atsumu.
“Oh by the way Rin. A chick from the [L/N] clan is here too,” Pulling away Osamu’s hand from his mouth, the blonde said catching the attention of the son of the Suna clan. The man hummed and pulled out his phone, checking something on his notes app and putting it back to his pockets. “That’s…interesting I guess,”
