Look, I know I promised you a review and stuff and I was planning on it being a bit longer, but my brain just screeched to a full stop! WHAT DID YOU DO TO OUR BABY TAMU!?!!?!? my brain is still screeching in the background and it's not stopping anytime soon. And what the hell, Desma, did she really get possessed or hypnotized or something? The mysterious death, the snake and Laverna being all sneaky.. (Love that the fire causes a bit of a flashback, not forgetting details like that makes everything so much more immersive) Maybe the monsterblood has some weird effects? (I mean she focused so much on getting rid of Merikh, when MC basically flirted with Aretas the entire time.. and while I didn't let her kill the Harkon guy, that was only supposed to be "for now", but she only really wanted to kill Merikh for some weird reason) Poor Sefu getting stuck in the palace barracks at the worst time. At least it meant he was safe and will be available to get Tamu out. And Amatus stuck at Yemoja's? Wouldn't someone inform him, though, since Hadassah is technically in the loop, but not a Talon member? What happened to Fia and Yusra, since Yusra knew about Amatus as well. I hope Gally kept Asfia safe though and they are both hiding well. I mean, this at least confirms that Ferox, Fennox, Fenrox? was a traitor and leaked information and might present a good chance to strike a deal with the Jackals. Especially because Sutek seems anything but happy about whatever is happening somehow. BUt it also just sucks, bc TAMU!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!! He is the sweetest of the entire bunch and AAAAAAAAA I wanted to comment on flirting with Aretas (which was great, but it's honestly hard to do when you can only talk a couple sentences before someone intrudes and you need to go or he needs to go.. no matter, he's cute. And his enthusiasm is flattering), but how can I do that when our home is disintegrating? Honestly, drag Fenor by the ears and slit his throat for endangering and selling out your own people. Since my MC is mostly non violent, charming and supportive, this might be a bit of a shock for some people, but you don't give second chances to people who hurt someone as sweet as Tamu. If all else fails, ask Merikh to lend you a couple of Zadu's friends and raid your own hideout? Mostly to free your friends and allies, not to kill anyone. But yeah. Needs must or something. Please be ok, babe! It's a bit staggering to see MCs to do list only ever expanding. Meet with Laverna, on the list, find out who died and what his position was etc, on the list, figure out who is causing the monster outbreak, on the list, help Aretas balance the court, in progress, beat Diomedes using his own arrow against him, on the list, FIND TAMU, immediate action, make sure the kids and Ama are all fine, immediate second task, figure out what the hell is wrong with Frenox and why he thought you weren't coming back, on the list, else if they prepared a trap for you, spring it on purpose to flush out all the dissidents, on the list, ... oh yeah and the original job for Merikh about ruining house Labadon, on the list.. somewhere, last but not least: figuring out who the heck your enemy is. Because I have this feeling that the Labadon's are too obvious, even though they might be behind the assassination and be in cahoots with the Jackals. Someone commissioned your profile before Merikh came for you, though and someone RECOMMENDED you to Merikh in the first place. LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME!!!!!!!!

Ok, let's get in depth!

Your synopsis of where we're at, as far as both the MC's to-do list and the RO relationships, is spot on!

This is where, I feel, you'll get the chance to truly branch out and have distinct playthroughs.

Are you more focused on the royal court, or keeping your guild on top in Cusmo?

Do you want to use your new noble status, or are you a commoner to your core?

Are you going to be an enforcer, a ruthless schemer, a tragic hero, a loveable trickster, or a mix of all of the above?

How are you approaching the relationships? Do you use people? Are you a flagrant flirt? Are you going to accidentally catch real feelings? And will you attempt to fight for a relationship that could easily end in ruin for the both of you?

These overarching choices are what are going to determine what your character, Cusmo, and so many other things look like. Also, the choices are going to become more narrow, in that they'll take you on a different path and block others. (This has already started with how you chose to get your noble title, btw muhahahaha!)

Game mechanics wise, we start turning towards more mission based choices, with some only being available based on prior choices. (Although there will still be main choices, that happen based on the story's timeline regardless of choice)

This also applies to the ROs. Some are "easier" to interact with based on your choices if you put yourself in their proximity. (Nobles at the palace, non nobles in the city) Some require you to seek them out more actively, or become more relevant after making choices with a certain theme. (Court politics? You'll probably see more Sarai. Want more magic and mysticism? You'll probably see more Heka.)

Mini post about Gallagher because @pix3lplays and I were talking about him... Like we always do with these Star Rail men... Man-

We're so Normal about him I swear-

Here's a bunch of ideas and headcanons in no particular order because I cannot scrape together enough sense after seeing that official art of him to make this coherent:

Writing under the cut (dw it's SFW I just started doing this for convenience):

Leaks suggested he had a bunch of scarring on his arms and if you look closely at his hands in the official art, he has some on his hands and juuuust under some of the bandages. Imagine kissing his scars... Auuuu-

I said it before and I'll say it again he's a big ol' puppy. Big scruffy scary dog puppy man. The way he's so attentive with you and concerned for your health, safety, and wellbeing at all times. I actually don't think he'd be the biggest on PDA. However- That doesn't stop what happens when he's protective. You'd be in a crowd and in order to shield you from the hustle and bustle, he'd pull you in close with an arm wrapped around you.

He totally rubs his cheek against yours like a fuckin cat as like an affection thing but also sometimes to mess with you because it's scratchy.

Definitely has a Chair. It's His Chair. By the fireplace. But he, of course, let's you sit in it whenever he isn't sitting there. And if he is? Pats his leg to you can come sit in his lap. You two often take naps there, cuddled up with one another.

Those buttons of his are fighting for their LIVES but you aren't complaining. He jolts a little before smirking at you when you slip a hand between said buttons to feel the exposed skin there as well as plenty of what the shirt does cover.

Pix and I like to think that he's naturally warm. Whether this is because he is a fire pathstrider is up to interpretation.

Also please tell me he's another guy who just straight says run them hands his hands are his weapon-

(I wonder if we're getting a character in HSR who just straight up throws hands like "time for some fisticuffs". Because I didn't even think about it, but Stelle in the new trailer didn't have her bat or lance she was gonna like Stellaron punch someone??? Bro gimme the "run them hands" strat right NOW Hoyo- Going back to Gallagher... Like yeah I wanna watch him straight up punch someone, lolllll- And look at his left glove!!! It has those little metal thingies on the knuckles like come ON-)

Speaking of him being a big ol puppy for you... I should write about him being a cute puppo boy... ANYWAYS-

Pix talked about kissing his scruffy chin and my immediate thought was:

And then suddenly he's wrapped his arms around you, nose buried in your hair as he kisses your head. Slowly, he turns you around.

Tugs you forward so you can stand on his feet as the two of you sway and dance in the kitchen, the only music being the sound of your hearts that now beat in sync.

Anyway— I have Transformers OCs :3!!!!!!!!!

I’m currently in the process of drawing all of them digitally right now so their color schemes are set and it’s been a pretty neat experience. I expected to be really bad at drawing them since I don’t typically draw cars lol—

As per usual I ramble about things so long explanations of the drawings and some character info under a cut d(>< ):

This is Crossroads!!!!!!!!! My boy!!! His alt form is a 1958 Plymouth Fury and pre-war he was a model. Basically the thought process for that was “that’s pretty car that’s not really for racing or anything in specific— besides car shows. What would be the equivalent of car shows on Cybertron—“ lol. Augh I have a ton of lore for all these characters planned already and aaaaaaaaa— but yeah, he’s a nice dude :). During war he’s kind of a tactician since he had a lot of experience with planning and scheduling events. He has history with another OC I have yet to draw because I’m still planning her design named Rivette because she was his manager, but they get separated in the war and she ends up leader of a gestalt that I also have to plan about. Really the only reason why I haven’t drawn her yet is because I need to make her design at the same time as the other combiner members. Anyway, Crossroads!!! :D He ended up a little unintentionally angel coded with that wheel on his head, so I just went with it for the rest of his design lol. I think he came out really cute!!! Though his arm wheels are a little difficult to draw consistently 💀💀💀

This is Allen Wrench! :3 Awhg he’s a sweetie— pre war he was a general repair guy, worked in a larger group that took random odd jobs and stuff. Coincidentally was part of Crossroads’ repair crew for a short amount of time but, they didn’t really meet each other then. Model work is fast paced, you see hundreds of random workers daily and don’t get a chance to remember them 😔. Anyway, when the war hits the two run into each other again and Allen convinces Cross to join the Autobots. They end up basically in the same scouting group and get really close. He’s a 1996 Suzuki Super Carry van in alt form, and I also have his color scheme figured out: it’s giving like Van that’s been repaired a few times but no one bothered to paint the new spots to match? Yeah XD. He’s also had a lot of redesigning done to his chest already in the span of time when I drew this and when I started drawing them digitally to make it look way more like the car he’s based on :).

The minibot of the group: Fork! Silly ass name I’m so glad it wasn’t taken yet hahahsjkl. Actually, so far, all the names I’ve come up with haven’t really been taken— which is cool cause like Transformers has so many characters and it’s stupid hard finding a name 💀💀💀. You gotta go on the wiki and look up words to make sure some other bot doesn’t have it already lol. But yeah! Fork! I think I might give him another minibot (idk the relation to yet) named Spoon just to keep that naming convention hahaha— Fork is a 1977 AMC Gremlin :3. Very cute little car, I saw a lot with really neat swooshing pattern paint jobs which worked really well for the designs on him I’d already drawn. I’m not exactly sure what his pre-war background is going to be yet, I gotta finish writing more of the first two guys since the scenario focuses a bit more on them and their relationship before I can figure out everyone else after that. Also btw Fork is a grown man lol. He’s on the same scouting team with Cross and Allen :)!

Our main antagonist of the scenario I’m writing: Maul. Stupid evil catboy I hate him— he’s so fun to draw X,,,,,D. This guy sucks, he makes everything worse being alive lol. Maul is a Decepticon and he’s particularly formidable. He was denied a place with the Predicons and in much other divisions because he’s way too uncooperative. Typically he’s off on his own just looking for groups to ambush— often times ignores orders and lies to get the blame off of himself. He also has a particular reputation for killing other Decepticons whenever they bore him or if he’d think doing so would be fun, though this cannot confirmed nor denied. Pre-war he was a hitman. In this scenario, Cross, Allen, Fork, and three others (that I need to design and name) were sent to survey the area around Autobot base, something routine and low risk usually, got sent off course, and crashed into a cliff side after Maul got on their craft and sabotaged it. They’re all stuck there with this freaky cat guy all like idk Alien (the film) style for a while until someone is able to send a distress signal and alert Prime of where they’re trapped. Not spoiling anything else until I’ve completed it, but judging how he’s holding some bot’s head here, it doesn’t go very well 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀.

More Maul— he’s fun to draw lol. And also has some energon on him or something.

I’m actually really surprised the name Maul was largely unused for anyone major. Like I think maybe one guy from the comics that dies a couple panels into his introduction might’ve had the name, but I’m gonna count that as unused tbh 💀. Besides, some have had the same name before— after all the names Breakdown and Knockout were reused for some very new characters in Prime and they tend to be the ones people think of first. Yeahg anyway—

Crossroads is saying “Communications are out— I have no connection to Prime— Oh- if only we had a mechanic!” Hmm, something happened there hmmm. He’s also being really cute in the top left corner look at him :3. Waving back at my little guy hehehe \(^^ ).

Maul again and he’s been a creepy threatening guy! He’s probably not this close to anyone in the ship very often, he prefers to go stealthy and take cover in the walls and ceiling and stuff, but he wouldn’t be above threatening someone face to face either. I also didn’t mention his alt form— it’s probably some kind of military drone I think, not sure yet.

Yay! The three guys I have planned currently! Wow they sure are all good companions, what a great team, would be such a shame if something terrible happened to them :3.

Uh oh— Crossroads is yelling “ALLEN!!!” Eeesh that can’t be good—

Inconsistency when it comes to skin tones bother me.

I think all of us noticed Taiyang in the new engine looking incredibly white/yellowish? Did he get some kind of liver or kidney problem between the volumes? (and if they didn't have time to finish his model or whatever, why include him?)

Neptune and Sun suffer from this all the time too, notably in rwby chibi

(I mean look Sun being same tone as Coco versus them in the actual show?! Give me back tanned Gyaruo boy goddammit).

Whitley looks like My little Pony equestria girls character. Especially during his first appearance. It's the long legs, "hooves" like the equestria girls characters, it's the uncanny side profile ---

Even if Winter doesn't know about the turning into bird thing, we can probably assume Qrow and Winter are aware of each others fighting styles and such;

So would Winter summoning these birds while fighting Qrow be her trying to annoy him on purpose?

You know Ravens mask and how people mistook her as a white fang members because of it? Poor design right there, but, what if it was explained as something she stole?

Different ranking white fang members seem to have different type of masks, Ravens mask is pretty big, what if she killed the masks original owner and flaunting it to show her/tribes strength and so white fang doesn't Dear to mess with her people again.

It's bit hard to make out but in chibi his eyes are same colour as his hair, in the show unfinished models have black eyes.

Nora having her lightning emblem on her boots is cute touch, which I hadn't noticed before going through my screenshots :-)

I headcanon that James was very lanky slim kid. Not beefy like now, and that's partly why he wanted to become ripped and prove everyone he was capable (n manly man and all that).

Unfortunately, this costed him some of his body parts. The lengths he went just so he could be seen worthy by his peers and teachers, resulting him thinking he needs to be perfect, flawless (even though he's plenty capable with his robotic parts, the perfectionism persist)

And that's why he lowkey hated Watts, not only he betrayed him and lacks principles, but he reminds Ironwood of what he used to be.

She's getting just a bit more heated now, narrowing her eyes. You grimace and lean over, placing a hand on her arm to try and show that it's really okay. You loved that she fought so passionately for you...but not everything needed to be a battle.

Vox leans forward himself now, while Valentino just leans back, blowing out smoke and enjoying the show with an amused grin on his face. You certainly couldn't count on him to break this up.

"You wouldn't dare." Vox says with narrowed eyes himself, face closer to hers, and she snaps back at him without thinking.

"Did I fucking stutter?!"

Valentino is the first one to register the hilarity of what slipped out of Velvette's mouth, and he's almost spilling his cocktail from laughing so hard. It's only when he starts laughing that she realizes what she said and feels embaressment wash over her as she turns to you with wide eyes.

"Babes, I didn't mean-"

But you stop her before she can finish, smiling assuringly at her and rubbing her arm.

"I-It's okay....You gotta a-admit...It was pr-pretty funny." You laugh a bit yourself, and only when she sees you laugh does the tension leave her shoulders. She still feels embaressed...but at least you weren't upset.

"Hey, stop fucking laughing you two. It wasn't that funny." Velvette grumbles, hiding her face behind her cocktail as she takes a sip, feeling you press a kiss to her cheek to try and make her feel better as Vox and Valentino continue to enjoy Velvette's mistake.

to that anon who’s also wondering how far is jimin’s obsession w serim’s hands gonna go . . . i got something for you

(1) i can imagine jimin trying to be subtle as she can possibly be, knowing how much effect she has on serim, she’s gonna use that for her advantage! picture serim and jimin casually watching tv, sat beside one another. jimin missing the warmth of serim’s hands (we all know she’s not gonna say that out loud, but let’s just ignore that), holds the older’s wrist to bring one of her hands on top of her thigh, serim’s hand slightly smacking her. jimin’s excuse? a fly. and serim will just look at the younger like 🤨 jimin would probably threaten the older to not remove her hand or else she’ll kill one of serim’s plants, and all serim can do is obey. wouldn’t even question jimin’s actions 😭 NOT AT ALL (from time to time, serim would trace circles on jimin’s thigh and all jimin could do is squirm on the inside)

(2) if ever the two would sleep again in one bed (not sexually!) i can also imagine serim’s sleeping body close to jimin, but we all know they cuddle when they sleep tgt so let’s put it like that. serim’s head trapped in the crook of jimin’s neck, her hand peacefully resting on jimin’s stomach while her arm is trapped between the mattress and jimin’s back, her other hand holding the younger’s waist tenderly. and jimin would still not find that enough 😭✋🏼 carefully, she’ll put the hand resting on her stomach close to her mouth, leaving small kisses as she looks at serim’s face, watching to see if the older would wake up cuz of her actions. and the next day she’ll be like, “why the fuck did i do that?”

(if she’s not leaving pecks on serim’s hand, she’ll probably bring it on her neck and move each fingers as if serim’s moving it on her own)

(3) we do know how their company’s kinda on abt the whole fake dating thing, so i can see them ordering the two to be more affectionate in public. serim sticking beside jimin in a party, following her like a lost puppy. and then jimin would find some other artists to talk to, of course serim’s beside her. serim, remembering the orders of the company, will put her hand on jimin’s waist, caressing it. and the younger would bring her hand on top of serim’s guiding her thru her body, leaving serim’s hand on her stomach, making serim lean closer than she already did. i can imagine jimin caressing serim’s hands even without much people around, and her excuse would probably be “company’s order.”
