Search engine friendly
Convenient and friendly for search engines
A few notes on what to pay attention to when creating a website so that everything is suitable and friendly for search engine and for visitors to your website.Dynamic URLs Hostile dynamic URLs are a common side effect of using a content management system. A system that is not designed with search engine rankings in mind. Here are some examples of some hostile URLs. Example 1: http://www.mydomain.com/myproducts.php&354=prod333&subproduct These URLs are problematic because a search engine might consider these addresses too complex for a spider. Why too complex? Suffice it to say that the more complex the URL, the greater the chance that a search engine robot will find the content too dynamic to read. It changes too often to be valuable to a search engine. The way around this type of URLs is actually not that difficult. It may require only a small investment of time and money. 'Time' will be required when researching which URL repair is right for your system. Money may be needed to pay developers to implement and test new URLs. Here's what the URLs might look like after they're optimized for search engines. Sample fixed: http://www.mydomain.com/myproducts/354/prod333/subproduct/ These URLs are better because they don't include the redundant characters that are so noticeable on dynamic web pages. In addition, the URLs are designed to look like normal website directories, even though they are actually dynamic URLs. It is vitally important that you reduce the length of the URLs you use. Search engines may stop indexing a website if it appears to have too many subdirectories. The above samples show fixed URLs that have about as many subdirectories as the maximum I would allow (4).Menus - search engine friendly Are the menus on your website spider-friendly? If not, you may be hiding the main areas of your website from search engine spiders. And you miss out on additional search engine rankings. An ideal menu would be text based. And each text link would include the keywords you are targeting on the landing page. Setting up your menu with so much forethought requires you to determine the layout and content of your website before starting the web design. Once you have a clear picture of each page's content, you can research which keywords are best to target per website. This crucial keyword research can be done easily enough at home using a keyword research tool. Or similar systems that give you insight into how your customers think by showing how many monthly (or yearly) searches there are for a specific term. Remember, almost every page within your website has a very real opportunity to achieve the highest ranking. All you need to do is ensure that the design, content and structure of the site are optimized. A carefully thought out and designed menu is a key step to top ranking.Site map - search engine friendly Sitemaps can dramatically help your website's visibility. Allowing search engine spiders easy access to all pages on your website. Place a sitemap link on every page within your site. To ensure easy access no matter where a search engine or user lands on your site. Just having a sitemap will help. But how you create your map will also play a role in how well search engines will catalog it. For example, if you have a twenty-page website, it would be ideal to create a sitemap where each page is represented by a title with a short description. Ultimately, the page may be a little long, but it will have content that search engines like to index. This will increase the relevance of the linked pages as the titles will accurately represent the content. So you'll actually now have more than just a sitemap. You will have content for your page that has the potential to get you a ranking and gives an extra boost to the value of each page in the ranking.Search engine robots (spiders). Search engine robots read a web page from the top of the source code all the way to the bottom. As a result, it's important to ensure that both of the following elements are as close to the beginning of the code as possible: A short sentence that introduces the topic using the target keywords you've chosen for the page. Your text menu and other navigation aids, or if that's not possible, it would be even more useful to start with a paragraph or two of relevant content followed by navigation. By placing this information near the top of the page, you will quickly show the search engine robot relevant text that supports the page title and backlinks. You will also provide a current sitemap to the search engine spider, which includes keywords relevant to each page.Splash pages With the odd exception, Splash Pages are the kiss of death for a website. Because the home page (the first page seen when someone visits your domain), your most important page, often turns into just a redundant entry point with little or no relevant content on it. In addition to reducing your chances of ranking, you're also forcing your visitors to take the next step. To get content or sales material on your site. Any extra steps you add will decrease the likelihood of a successful sale. If, in the unlikely scenario, your home page is needed, there are ways to make it a little more search engine friendly. Add a highly relevant and well-worded paragraph to the page so search engines have something to index that shows them they're in the right place. Provide a link to your sitemap or implement a text menu in the footer of the page so that search engines can access the inner workings of your website without taking any extra steps. HOW TO GET ON THE FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE: A GUIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS
Did you know that the Google first page gets roughly 92 percent of web traffic from the average search?
Essentially, if you’re not on the first page, you don’t exist. Therefore, showing up on Google can make a huge difference in the success of your small business.
And yet, many small businesses are wondering how to get on the first page of Google.
Well, we’ve got the answers to help you rise up the results pages to the first page of Google. Let’s go!
1. LONG-TAIL KEYWORDS
Keywords are another term for the most popular search terms from users on Google.
If you include the use of keywords on your web pages, you’ll boost your ranking on the results pages.
However, the majority of searches are with so-called “long tail keywords.” For example, the common use of keywords may be: “Google First Page.”
Instead, you need to focus on long-tail keywords, such as: “how to show up on Google.”
The trend toward long-tail keywords can be expected to continue to rise. Voice search tools, such as Siri and Alexa make this even more likely.
2. PRODUCE GREAT CONTENT
There is simply no replacement for the production of outstanding content for your website. You just have to do it if you want to be on the first page of Google.
If you don’t already have a blog on your website, you need to set one up immediately. This is the best way to create content for your website.
Make sure your content is of high quality. But, you also need to concentrate on publishing consistent and regular blog posts which engage users.
3. IMPROVE WEB PAGE LOADING SPEED
Did you know that around 47 percent of users expect your web pages to load in under 2 seconds?
If you leave your audience waiting, they’ll probably become frustrated and go elsewhere.
That’s not the only reason to improve loading speed. Google penalizes websites with slow speeds, which could push you back to the down the rankings.
4. LINK BUILDING
Generating links to your web pages can significantly improve your ranking on Google.
You need to concentrate your efforts on building links with credible websites. It’s about the quality of links, not the number.
Persuade other websites to link back to you on social media and with outbound links to their web pages. And remember, broken links can seriously harm your SEO ranking as well.
5. MOBILE FRIENDLY EXPERIENCE
Did you know that over 60 percent of Google searches come from mobile devices?
You could be missing out a huge portion of your audience because you don’t provide a responsive website experience.
Google has a mobile-first policy, in which websites which provide a poor quality mobile device experience are penalized.
HOW TO GET ON THE FIRST PAGE OF GOOGLE
Now you know how to get on the first page of Google. However, this is just the start.
Remember, you barely get a look-in at the bottom of the first page. You need to climb to the top. But, how can you rise to the top spot on Google results pages?

Website Content
Website Content Is Still King
So you've developed a website for your small business. It has a clean design and simple appearance, emphasized by aesthetically pleasing graphics. Your web designer has ensured that it is accessible to all internet users. No matter what browser or screen resolution they use. As you look at the final product, you realize how easy it will be for your potential clients and customers to get to all the pages of your website. You may think your website is complete - but it's not. In fact, a website should never be complete. It is a fact that search engines like Google give frequently updated pages a higher ranking in search results. What is the best way to update your website regularly? The answer is content! Visitors don't come to your website to admire it, they come looking for information. It's the content that gets them there. It's the content that convinces visitors to bookmark your website and it's the content that entices them to come back. Not only do human users love good content, so do search engines. Actually, I just can't index enough of your text - love that stuff! So why not give your visitors and search engines exactly what they want? The easiest way to achieve this is by regularly adding articles that are relevant to the topic of your website.Turn prospects into sales If your website contains enough informative content, your potential clients/customers will consider you as an expert in your field. They will see your website as a great resource and most likely choose your company to do business with. Good content turns prospects into sales. It's that simple.Achieve the best position in the search engine If you include a lot of relevant content on your website, search engines will also consider your website as an important resource. And in turn, it will give you higher rankings for any keywords you're trying to target. If you were to add an article every week or month, search engines will see that your website is updated frequently and index more of your content. After a few months, you should start to see a steady increase in search engine traffic to all pages of your website.Receive natural links If you really want the search engines to know that your website is important, you need to get other websites to link to your business. If you offer high-quality informative articles, other websites will naturally link to you because your content is valuable to other website visitors. The best types of connections to receive are one-way, not reciprocal. Without paying other websites, adding good content is about the only way to get them to link to you.Getting good content No one knows more about your industry than you. After all, you're the expert, aren't you? So, it's probably best to write a few articles yourself. Don't worry if you don't have the best writing skills because you can always get someone to revise your article for you. There are many freelance writers available for hire online. You can also ask your office manager to review your article or even hire a student from a local university on a contract basis. If you don't have the time or feel comfortable writing your own content, there are hundreds of article syndication sites online that allow you to use their articles on your site. The articles are free for you, but there is a catch - you must provide a link back to the author's website. This link is usually at the bottom of the article in the author bio. To find some good sites, just search "article directory" on Google. However, there is a downside to using content from another author. Google and search engines in general give more weight to original written works. So writing an original article is best, but adding someone else's article to your website will still add value in the eyes of people and search engines. If you want original articles but don't want to write them, there are many freelance writers available for hire online. Hiring their service to write a decent sized article would cost you around €50. Just do a Google search. Conclusion The key is to put yourself in the shoes of your website visitors. If you wanted to do business with your company, what information would interest and attract you? You need to consider your target audience and their demographics. And then determine what their needs are. Most people assume that a cool, flashy, attractive website will generate business. That's not entirely true - you have to give people what they want - information! So it's safe to assume that content is still king when it comes to web design. Read the full article
