Something Darker than Gold annnnnnd 2nd movement I see you

Asking for two, are we? Greedy, greedy~ No but for real, there isn't a long enough snippet of SDtG that I'm satisfied enough with to give you, so you're just gonna get a longer second on alright? Alright.

Something Darker than Gold is what I thought would be a very clever twist on my usual Hues of Magic naming scheme! In that it reuses Twilight's title but adds a new one into the mix! This will indeed be a Hues-fic that focuses on two of the boys instead of one, and they are Twilight (obviously) and Sky! The man literally in love with a Goddess who shines very brightly and golden. Because Hyrule gave Twilight some neat advice of not being ashamed of his connection to Shadow Magic, and that's definitely the right thing to do! But that doesn't mean the magic itself is going to play nicely with everyone else's.

2nd Movement you know! It's my (barely) post-LU fic starring Legend who returns to Labrynna and visits Nayru to find a way to visit at least the person whose spot in the timeline he absolutely knows for sure again!

"I don't want to go to the past at all. I want to go to the future.” One of her eyebrows lifted, barely perceptible to him, though he knew she did not mean to conceal her emotion from him. There was no need for secrecy in conversation over an open request. "I know that expression. You have something very specific in mind. A very specific time, no?" "Yes." "And this won't cause any trouble in the established order of events? You will not return and try to influence the present for a different outcome?" Her words were measured, still melodic, but her stern eyes expressed the gravity of her question. And Legend said words that felt foreign on his tongue, that he avoided as much as he possibly could, but knew would not be questioned for that precise reason. "You have my word as a hero." Nayru mustered him for a few more quiet moments, before she relaxed her shoulders out of a tense posture Legend hadn't even realised she'd adopted. With a returned smile she stood from her chair, patting down her dress. "Come with me. I'll need to teach you how to play so you can travel further along the stream, instead of returning to an earlier junction."

Tiktok influences too much of what i watch🤦🏾‍♀️

In one of my last posts, I mentioned those pages that post pieces of a movie or tv episodes, and I was graced with a new movie(to me). I’ve been on a romance kick for a bit so She’s Dating The Gangster gave me every bit of an enemies to lovers, angsty, teen romance😭😭AND I USUALLY HATE TEEN ROMANCES!!! I feel that because I’ve grown, I would love to see movies that could hopefully reflect the romance I get myself into. Yet we all know, the romance genre right now is either full of teen romance or it’s older adult romances that are just way to mature for me to comprehend 🫤

SDTG is like a sleeper film for me. There was like two romances being shown at the same time plus just angsty teen issues. Both pairings resulted from some twisted enemies to lovers dynamic and are influenced by family issues that eventually show the flaws. After watching the movie a few times, I find myself crying more than the last time after making realizations on the story and the ending🥺🥺GOD THE ENDING! I bawled like a child!

i hope everyone has been having a good week and i’m probably going to go and watch this movie now<3

SDTP vs SDTCN (JDonica vs LadyNoir)

I've been debating on this for a few minutes and I have no idea how to do this!

So the "She's Dating The Psychopath" fic with JD and Veronica from Heathers...I might as well merge it with "I'm The One For You" considering they have a slightly similar concept.

In short, I'll end ITOFY at 10 chapters and start SDTP as a new fic in the same series (dumb move, I know)

I am obsessed with Miraculous Ladybug and I wanted to do this fic.

Well, I can will try to do both! But I might focus on SDTCN (this fic) because I'm slipping away from the Heathers fandom faster than I thought 😭

And considering Miraculous Ladybug's plot, for me, it DOES fit in with my idea for the fanfic and I really REALLY wanna write it if I had the time and energy and if my classmates weren't pushing me over the edge through my depression.
