SCP#: AJH
Code Name: The Headless Assassins
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: [Data Expunged by Order of the O5 Council].
Description: SCP-AJH instances are headless humanoid entities that wear normal human clothing but do not appear or can be perceived in any way in real life. They can however be perceived through photos though this is unfortunately the only way as video cameras and recording devices do not show SCP-AJH instances either. SCP-AJH instances appear to be assassins that work for Group of Interest: The Black Queen’s Insurgency. They are used to kill people in real time by removing their heads, they do this simply by pulling them off.
Shockingly once the person has been killed they no longer exist in any records of history or memory of those who once knew them. Recent sightings of SCP-AJH instances have shown that those who are victims of previous SCP-AJH instances will become new instances after death. Given the fact that these instances work for the Black Queen’s Insurgency it would make sense to believe their targets are commonly Foundation staff or political assets under our control. However more often than not, they are instead random people who have little to no connection to the Foundation, why this is the case is unknown.
Regardless, SCP-AJH was discovered in 2019 when a bank robbery incident took place in [data expunged], New York. However by the time the police arrived all of the hostages did not remember what happened or why they were all on the ground. One of the hostages had taken photos though they don’t remember why they took them. The police saw the robber who was stalked by a headless man in black who was getting closer by every shot. The police looked up records but the man didn’t exist and his supposed family had no memory of him despite having photos of him.
The Foundation took action immediately and destroyed all remaining evidence of his existence and had the media manipulated to make it all seem like it was just a prank of some kind. Foundation internet teams looked up online and found other incidents where SCP-AJH instances attacked and erased people from existence. What really shocked the Foundation was that a month later a photo appeared near one of the Foundation Site’s housing an O5 Council member. This photo contained one of the iterations of the Black Queen, Alison Chao who was smiling and posing with several recorded instances of SCP-AJH again. On the back of the photo was the words Catch us if you can” written in black sharpie.
The O5 Council was furious and demanded Project the Last Legion be given top priority for the next ten years to ensure the Foundation can finally stand on equal ground against the Black Queen’s Insurgency. The Administrator themself also proposed [Data Expunged by Order of the Ethics Committee]
