baylan and shin are genuinely my fave characters from all these new installations from the star wars universe and i am so sad we will never see them being explored as they meant to. we will always have ray and ivanna’s great performances but— it’s sad they were going to get expanded in s2/the movie and now it’s all up in the air

Yeah, it's really devastating to me :((( I'm in the same boat as you, tbh I have rarely gotten this obsessed with star wars characters ever.

I'm annoyed that D*sney couldn't have just made the season long enough to tell a complete story, like why does the season Have to be so short.... It makes sense that they didn't have time to do an entire epic mortis arc on top of their galaxy-hopping Thrawn arc in just 8 episodes but that's still really annoying

And it is heartbreaking, because Ray Stevenson's performance as Baylan was really so special and unique, a very vital part of experiencing the character, and no matter what they end up doing now we will never see the story the way it should be :((

I am very grateful for what Ray and Ivanna managed to give us from their characters in such a limited time. Their scenes together from this season will always be so so dear to me.

I have some headcanons about Ro and my oc, Yuna! Any mentions of love in the following headcanons is STRICTLY platonic (unless stated otherwise) as Ro is aro/ace and I want to be respectful of that. (I’m sorry for my not so great art, I’m not very experienced)

Firstly, some things about Yuna. She is kinda like Mitsuri in the sense that she falls in love too quickly. She has a bubbly personality but can get very serious when needed. She is 19 and her pronouns are she/her, she’s pansexual but has a preference for women.

NOW, onto how they met! Ro and Yuna initially met when they were sent on a joint mission. Yuna immediately took a liking to Ro since she reminded Yuna of her little brother.

Yuna cares greatly for Ro, and gets quite protective of them whenever someone bothers Ro.

Yuna will often rant to Ro about her current “crush”

ex: “you don’t underSTAND Ro! She’s just so cute! Do you think she likes me back?! Ah… your right, probably not” (sad Yunie 😢)

Sometimes Yuna gets worried Ro finds her annoying, but in those cases I headcanon that Ro would approach her and ask her if she was ok because she wasn’t talking as much as she typically did

As they got more missions together, Yuna eventually found out about Ro’s “ability”

Although Yuna was surprised, she didn’t turn on Ro. Ro was like family! Why would she turn on them now?

I headcanon that Yuna unfortunately died a when they were on a mission together against upper 6 (the sun came up so it ran after killing Yuna)

after dying, Yuna likes to follow Ro around because she doesn’t want Ro to feel like their alone

Sadddddddddd got the last ending of co9 the flipside and it was Nicole's whole thing... Poor Jecka walking into her bedroom like that!!

But yeah honestly I think it did have enough jokes for the content it portrayed, while also showing how Jecka's life is nearly as fucked up as Nicole's. Like imagine if THAT was your dad (unless you don't have to lmao)

Dark humor isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the events of this game certainly aren't "pointless." You're kinda Supposed to be horrified at a certain point. All that shit can and does happen.

Except maybe the FYE thing but who am I to say for certain.
