being constantly ill with no cure is quite tiring. anyways! :D

i went to the library and picked up a few jane austen books (🔴 insisted), and the fualt in our stars cus thats what my current english assignment is, and a few sa victim book thingws for 🪶.

i also got gummy sharks!! thyre my favorite gummy candy so thats awesome sauce! the weather is getting hotter and hotter, which is bad for me cus the heat tends to make my chronic pain flare, and make me faint more often soooo sucks. any intense weather (cold, hot, rain, snow, ect.) makes it flare so idk its nto that new but still sucks.

im almost failing one of my classes cus the teacher refuses to follow my 504 but eh i have all a’s otherwise so its fine ig.

i had to go to urgent care cus i passed out and hit my head (cartoon characetr ahh moment). im fine tho, no actual damage just a little bump :3 🔴 was the one who delt with it for the majority of the time, so i dont remember it very well (if at all :P)

anyways! thats my rant for today, ive been painting and reading and doing good otherwise!

JR29:n sotatie dokumenttielokuvaksi

Taustaa

Keskipohjalaiset osallistuivat jatkosotaan (1941-42) pääosin Jalkaväkirykmentti 29:n joukoissa. Rykmentin komentajana toiminut everstiluutnantti Paavo Susitaival kirjoitti muistelmansa Rykmentti taistelee vuonna 1948. Tämä teos on totuudenmukainen lähdeteos rykmentin historiasta kiinnostuneille.

Keski-Pohjanmaalta lähti jatkosotaan JR29:n riveihin vuonna 1941 yli 3 000 miestä. Heistä 400 kaatui, useita satoja haavoittui. Kaatuneet saivat viimeisen leposijansa kotiseurakuntiensa sankarihaudoissa. Miehet olivat kotoisin Kokkolan seudulta sekä Perhonjoki-, Lestijoki- ja Kalajokilaaksosta. Vuonna 2023 sodassa olleita ei juurikaan ole enää keskuudessamme.

Kun rykmentin historia kirjoitettiin 2012, jouduttiin pahoittelemaan, miten vähän oli ihmisiä enää elossa ja monet henkilökohtaiset muistot, kirjeet ja kertomukset olivat painuneet unhon yöhön.

Vuonna 2020 kaustislainen historian harrastaja Teuvo Isokangas ryhtyi suureen työhön. Hän keräsi JR29:n vaiheista perusteellisen kertomuksen, haastatteli sodassa olleiden omaisia ja keräsi aineistoa, jota ei ole ennen tuotu esiin. Isokankaan teos antoi paljon uutta tietoa eritoten rivimiesten kokemuksista jatkosodassa.

Jokaisessa kunnassa on kerätty sotaperintöä. Muun muassa Perhossa on tallennettu 1990-luvulla veteraanien ääninauhoja, jotka on digitoitu.

Videodokumentin taustaa

Kokkolalainen teatteritaiteen maisteri Pauli Poranen on esittänyt yli 20 vuoden ajan monologinäytelmää ”Marokon kauhu”, joka kuvaa kapteeni Aarne Juutilaisen sotataivalta. Esitys on saanut poikkeuksetta suuren suosion. Poranen on esittänyt monologiaan kymmeniä kertoja eri puolilla Suomea ja jopa Karjalassa, rajan tuolla puolen. Marokon kauhusta on tehty äskettäin dokumenttielokuva, jossa Porasen roolilla on keskeinen osa. Dokumentin muu aineisto on SA-kuvia ja muuta arkistomateriaalia.

Olemme JR29:n sotataipaleen videodokumentointia varten perustaneet työryhmän, jossa Pauli Poranen on Paavo Susitaipaleen roolihahmo, Teuvo Isokangas aineiston kerääjä, ja tuottaja ja lehdistöneuvos Pekka Kivelä käsikirjoittaja ja varsinainen dokumentin tuottaja. Dokumentin ohjaa Erkki Rautio, joka ohjasi myös mainitun Marokon kauhu -dokumentin.

Teknisen av-työn partneriksi on lupautunut kokkolalainen Keski-Pohjanmaan koulutusyhtymän media-alan linja, jonka opiskelijat hoitavat kuvaukset, äänitykset, valaistuksen ja tekniset työt. Lopputuotteen jakelija on VL-Media, joka hoitaa myös Marokon kauhu -produktion.

Aikataulu ja toimenpiteet

JR29-dokumentin kuvaukset käynnistyivät lokakuussa 2023 Kokkolassa. Syksyn mittaan haastatellaan vielä maakunnassa henkilöitä, joiden elämäntaival liittyi jollakin tavalla JR29:n sotaretkeen, mm. kaatuneiden omaisia. Kuva-aineiston keräämiseen on varattu runsaasti aikaa. Lopullisen dokumentin valmistuminen ajoittuu vuosille 2024-25.

Majelis Permusyawaratan Rakyat (MPR) mengharapkan Presiden RI dan Wakil Presiden RI Periode 2024–2029 Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka dapat menghadirkan beragam kebijakan dan program yang pro atau berpihak pada rakyat.

"Kami berharap Bapak Prabowo dan Bapak Gibran Rakabuming Raka dapat membawa visi besar, kebijakan dan program-program yang pro rakyat," kata Ketua MPR Ahmad Muzani dalam Pelantikan Presiden dan Wakil Presiden RI Periode 2024–2029 di Gedung Nusantara, Kompleks Parlemen, Jakarta, Minggu.

Ia juga mengajak Prabowo-Gibran untuk bersama-sama menciptakan Indonesia yang lebih adil, sejahtera, dan berdaya saing.

"Mari, kita ciptakan Indonesia yang lebih adil, sejahtera, berdaya saing, di mana setiap lapisan masyarakat merasakan dihargai dan terlibat. Bersama-sama kita bisa mengukir prestasi demi kemajuan bangsa," ucap dia.

Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Muzani pun mengucapkan selamat atas pelantikan Prabowo-Gibran tersebut.

Pada tanggal 24 April 2024, Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) RI menetapkan pasangan Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka sebagai pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden terpilih hasil Pilpres 2024.

Penetapan tersebut tertuang dalam Keputusan KPU Nomor 504 Tahun 2024 tentang Penetapan Pasangan Calon Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Terpilih dalam Pemilihan Umum Tahun 2024.

Prabowo-Gibran berhasil meraih 96.214.691 suara atau 58,59 persen dari total suara sah nasional dan memenuhi sedikitnya 20 persen suara di setiap provinsi yang tersebar di 38 provinsi di Indonesia.

Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka mengucapkan sumpah jabatan sebagai Presiden dan Wakil Presiden Republik Indonesia masa bakti 2024–2029 dalam Sidang Paripurna MPR RI di Gedung Nusantara, Kompleks Parlemen, Jakarta, Minggu.

Sebanyak 709 dari total 732 anggota MPR RI menyaksikan prosesi pengucapan sumpah jabatan tersebut. Sidang Paripurna MPR RI tersebut juga dihadiri para tokoh nasional, pimpinan partai politik, dan perwakilan negara sahabat.

Dial-A-Ride

This service provides accessible rides for senior citizens (60+) and disabled people within 13 towns. The program helps them get to nutrition programs, medical appointments and shopping. It also offers group excursions. The ADA complementary paratransit bus service is available to eligible individuals on a space available basis. One personal care attendant may ride free with each ADA passenger.

The eligibility requirements for this program include a valid ADA placard or tag and a valid ADA ID card. In addition, the individual must be a resident of the towns of Fishkill, East Fishkill, Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie, and Wappinger.

If the weather is bad and roads are unsafe, the SMART Dial-A-Ride will not operate. Those with reservations for the day will have their rides rescheduled. In case of a cancellation, a radio announcement will be made between 7:00 and 8:00 am. If the weather is not safe, a radio announcement will be broadcast at 10:00 am.

However, these services are not always available in all areas and can be expensive for seniors with limited incomes. Some communities have volunteer driver programs that can offer a more personalized and affordable alternative to traditional transit options.

Individualized Accommodations

Individualized accommodations are services that can be provided to students with disabilities that have a significant impact on their access to a course or the learning environment. Individualized accommodations may be used for physical disabilities, learning disabilities (LD), chronic health conditions such as diabetes or a heart condition, or psychiatric disorders such as depression or anxiety.

Consistent with policy guidance, SAS reviews all disability documentation and interviews each student about their lived experience to determine the appropriate level of accommodation.

Accessibility Services

Accessibility Services provides a variety of support services that allow students to succeed in the academic environment and live independently. These assisting services are consistent with the amended Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.

These accommodations are provided on a case-by-case basis and are tailored to the specific student’s needs. The office works closely with students, faculty and staff to ensure that reasonable accommodations are implemented based on the course goals and objectives.

AccessAble have worked with the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead to develop a comprehensive guide to accessible facilities across the town. These include free Blue Badge parking at the Windsor Leisure Centre and Braywick Leisure Park, accessible toilets (including Changing Places), wheelchair access to all parks and gardens and an accessible pool and water park. Dieu parle si on l’écoute

Amis chrétiens, sommes-nous toujours prêts à entendre Dieu nous parler ? Selon mes dispositions intérieures, je vais percevoir la voix de Dieu plus ou moins bien. Je n’entendrai Dieu me parler que si sa voix est importante pour moi.

Parfois c’est une circonstance de ma vie qui me rendra subitement attentif à la voix de Dieu. Par exemple, j’ai une grande décision à prendre, j’ai donc besoin d’entendre Dieu dans ce cas précis. Le texte du jour insiste pourtant sur l’habitude d’écouter “chaque matin”, et pas uniquement lorsque j’en éprouve le besoin. Dieu veut me sensibiliser à sa voix pour que j’apprenne ce qu’il veut m’enseigner chaque jour.
