They mirrored the Job story

I don’t know if this has been said yet, but during the Job episode I was extremely preoccupied with the “sounds lonely” arc, preoccupied with Aziraphale changing, but I noticed something else.

There is something about that scene in the villa, where Aziraphale asks Crowley not to destroy Job’s children. Now, we know Crowley never had any plans to do this, so why would he lie to Aziraphale instead of just admitting it? Does he actually want to seem that demonic to him, does he want him to think he’s evil?

I don’t think so. At least, that isn’t the way I interpreted it.

I think Crowley was testing Aziraphale’s faith in him. He looks him in the eyes, he tells him he’s going to go through with it, and he watches his reaction. Aziraphale is on the verge of tears when he walks away, and when Crowley goes the opposite direction, you can see he looks a little disappointed.

Then Aziraphale finds out he didn’t kill the goats. And like that, his faith in him is restored.

So what does Crowley do? Just like God with Job, he escalates. He raises the stakes.

Next time, it’s the fire. The “are you sure, angel?” gets me every single time. He is looking Aziraphale in the eyes and asking for his faith, and Aziraphale looks back at him and this time, he gives it resolutely, firmly. Quite sure. And after that, Crowley doesn’t test him again.

It’s just so interesting to think about the state of their relationship at this point—the fact that Crowley is, relative to the rest of their existence, newly fallen. They’re treading this new ground, and Crowley doesn’t know where he stands in Aziraphale’s eyes. So in his own weird, definitely-not-trauma-fueled way, he decided to find out.

A nice little attention to detail I’ve always liked in Spirit Riding Free is that Lucky has less muscle tone than Abigail and Pru, due to having lived most of her life in the city and only recently being introduced to horse riding and country life.

Lola has no problems bragging about her grandchild all over town.

George is ready to age up, surrounded by his closest friends and family.

So handsome. Another Cavanaugh aging gracefully. Lily can't keep her hands off George.

Dam, George is ripped!

Lola and Dewey sit together over cake and discuss their families future. Dewey loves his little girl but is their room for more in the Cavanaugh family?

So its time for Laika to age up and Lola has a lot to think about.

She loves Laika and things are going so well. She has time to paint and Dewey helps with her skills.

Let's squeeze in another child. It is all Dewey can think about, with so many lifetime happiness points for him on the line. Lola loves Dewey so much and wants him to be happy.

Oooh. I like how the intro is them coming up out of the water from episode 1. Cool.

HIS HEAD IS NOT FINE. Why does no one know this?? 

OOOOh, we’re gonna meet the parents. (No - well, yes. I’m glancing over shirtless scenes from now on. All that really happens is staring and not really thinking anyway so it’s not really necessary........) This will end badly, I imagine. No parent wants that kind of pain for their kid. So they’re probably going to try and change Stella’s mind about being with Clay before something serious happens (also, wahhhhhhhhhh bc spoilers bc again, I have the internet) because of how dangerous is job is. Just my thoughts lol. 

I don’t care what anyone says, I really think Jason is a great dad. Home family and Bravo family can’t be easy to juggle. But then again, I feel like spouses or partners or whoever should understand what they’re getting themselves into marrying someone in the military. Especially a spec ops team member. Again, just my 2 cents.

Damn guys, 10 minutes into this show and I’m already getting wordy. That doesn’t bode well for the next 33 minutes of my life lol.

WOOOOOW that tunnel scene was intense. I also had to watch it 2 times bc my kid started throwing up while I was watching the first time. FUN STUFF. The eldest got sick first, about 4 days ago. Then the youngest started puking this morning. It’s fun having multiple kids. Anyway. That tunnel scene had me for a minute even though I knew they didn’t die in it lol. That play by Mandy and Blackburn was genius!!! I’m glad the boys pulled through lol.

I really need to find out how many nicknames Sonny has for Clay.

S2 E2 Supernatural

Sam and Dean have kinda flipped, now Sam wants to hunt and do what Dad does while Dean want to kinda stop. They go to The Roadhouse, meet Ellen, Jo and Ash, they seem cool. We also find out Sam is afraid of clowns 🤡. Neither Sam or Dean are doing well after John's death, now I'm wondering if John told Dean he sold his soul and the revolver for HIM, cus is he doesn't that'll hurt.

Also they're never allowed to not have the Impala ever again, I hate it, hitchhike or Impala nothing else /jk
