I’m so proud of myself that since last year I started to read books again albeit I’m listening to them but that is still valid!

2023 I read 23 books 🥳 special shout out to Harry with his one quote I heard on TikTok and that was my first book in 2023 to read again bcs of „My penis was oscillating between extremely sensitive...and borderline traumatized The last place I wanted to be was Frostnipistan…” 😂

It helps me a lot that I’m in a Book club with 2 of my siblings and my s.i.l :3

Happy International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia

It's great to celebrate our successes and to shine a light on queer rights on this day, but it's also a good opportunity to take an inventory of just how far we still have to go. I encourage everyone to spend some time today reviewing and reflecting on the state of queer rights in your region and in other parts of the world, and on global attitudes toward queer identities.

There are still many regions where queerness is criminalized. Still places in the world where living one's truth has a high likelihood of ending in violence, torture, imprisonment and even death.

Today I urge everyone to consider donating to or otherwise supporting organizations that help queer refugees and asylum seekers to escape state violence and oppression. These organizations are doing great work, and don't get anywhere near enough attention or support.

let’s talk about my brother since i haven’t done that in a minute so basically backstory end of 2020 he said he wanted a divorce from my sister in law and they had a huge fight he moved everything (talking pots pans silverware tv’s the washer and dryer) out of the house that his kids and his sister (me) also live in , bunch of stuff happened he got his own place with a year lease. fast forward to now the lease is ending he just got fired from his job, him and my s.i.l have been like tolerating each other on and off but they still fight a lot and very loudly, he’s still extremely petty, think he does no wrong etc, and he’s literally putting her in a position where despite the fact that they still haven’t reconciled what was wrong in the first place he’s most likely going to end up moving back in here, which im deciding not to make my business cause you can’t root against family no matter how much you want to yknow, anyway aside from him moving back, while he was gone he also decided to get a dog. his wife doesn’t like pets never wanted one, his step daughter is allergic, and he’s never home so it’s very much obvious that he got this dog to flex that he can do what he wants. now he’s moving back and instead of swallowing his pride and giving the dog up it’s gonna be here. the dog isn’t trained at all, his current house literally smells like shit 24/7, and neither he or his kids are really taking care of it. his stepdaughter literally moved out last week just so she wouldn’t have to deal with it because she knew it was gonna end up falling on me, her, and my s.i.l. to take care of a dog none of us want. there no point to this story i just had to get this off my chest because here we fucking go again like im grateful they let me stay with them but sometimes i be thinking i should’ve just stayed my ass in jersey with my parents
