I didn't even have time to process my feelings for her. I still love them all. I said I didn't care anymore but that was only because I had the club in my mind. I realised that I have come to a crossroads; I either pick the club and whip them all into shape, thereby cutting them all loose from my heart; or I leave, choosing my heart over my ambition and my sense of what needs to be done.

I have, since the night I fell apart in front of my mirror, fully entrusted the club to the new President, Vice-President and Secretary.

Even though rumours have spread that I called the one I love a predator, even though I am often left on read, even though I was taken for granted, even though I was left waiting, even though I was overlooked, even though they brought out the worst in me and lit the fires to my rage, I still care.

I will never be able to care less, I will never be able to lose my heart. I am simply numb, and I am simply misunderstood and angry, angry all because I had chosen to love.

Had I chosen the club, I would have chosen indifference.

No, I cannot be indifferent. I must be with the people as I always have been. I must remember my humanity if I wish to pursue the arts.

I care. But I will never extend myself to them anymore. They will be their own people, and I, my own person.

We go out separate ways, I choose my separate life.

Even if I must process that lost love on my own, in the dead of the night to the playlist I never got to show her.

I will nurse my own heart until it is whole once more, and until then, I no longer have them in my life — and that is my blessing and curse to bear.

They are children the way that I still am.

I will never make the mistake of forgetting that ever again.

One day, Ritsu gets involved in a case and gets severely injured in the head. He can die at anytime. He attempts to find his mother and be good to her before his death. Ritsu finally finds his mother, but learns that she is leading a happy life with her pianist son Satoru (Kentaro Sakaguchi). He thought his mother abandoned him due to poverty. Ritsu decides to take revenge on his mother. Ritsu then meets Rinka again, who is Satoru’s childhood friend.
