Why I like them/why I don’t

Okay Asuka? Not only was she one of my gay awakenings as a teen, but also she’s just so flawless. Her skills in Ritual and Fusion Summoning, the fact that she doesn’t take bullshit, absolutely stunning. 

What I like about their appearance

I...tend to like blondes for some reason? Also, as I mentioned before, gay awakening. And her appearance is so simple, yet so stylish? I also like how her hair is similar to her brothers in terms of style, not colour, so you can tell their related without wacky anime styles.

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?

Both! Grew up with dub, rewatched sub later on...Both are very pretty names.

You’re all gonna hate me for this: ASUKA X MANJOUME. I shipped it as a kid, and I ship it now. However, I do also like her with Momoe and Junko/Mindy and Jasmine, and Misawa from the manga!

The forgotten nerd...Those who forget him with feel my wrath!...Who was I talking about again? Anyway, Misawa? Lovable nerd. He’s respectable yet cunning and cocky, so I don’t know why the writers decided that his rivalry with Judai or his decks or his character was not important anymore! Also, he has a nice voice.

What I like about their appearance

It’s not everyday you see a fifteen (?) year old with buff abs and sideburns. (Random but his Japanese VA? When I saw him in a video about Duel Links I was fanning myself, his seiyuu is so attractive.)

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?

Again, both. I’m attached to the name Bastion, as it really fits his (dub) British accent. I HC him being English and Japanese, no matter which canon I look at!

Why I like them/why I don’t

Listen, I could write a ten-page essay on why I love Manjoume. I loved him ever since I saw him on screen as a child, and he definitely grew on me, which shows. He’s cocky, he’s dorky. A goofball with a heart of gold, with sarcasm to spare. We both face similar issues: Inferiority. We want to be the best, we can’t let our family down. Manjoume has amazing character development from an arrogant zero to a respectable duelist.

What I like about their appearance

Black and purple? Pure aesthetic. But...how can he see with so much hair? How does it work? Which side is it all on? Also, badass (but stinky) coat.

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?

Manjoume Thunder, nothing beats that. Though The Chazz is almost as good.

PLOT

Shinohara Erika (Nikaido Fumi) is a first year of high school student. While talking to friends, she makes up a story about her "boyfriend." In reality, Shinohara Erika doesn't have a boyfriend. Erika's friends soon begin to doubt her story and Erika is also running out of lies. Erika then sees a pretty boy on the street and takes his picture discreetly. She later shows his picture to her friends as her boyfriend. The boy in the picture is Sata Kyouya (Yamazaki Kento) and happens to attend the same school as Erika. DanMachi Tops Sales Ranking for Light Novel Series Adapted into TV Anime in 2019

Japanese general hybrid bookstore "honto" has announced the sales ranking for the light novel series that were adapted into TV anime in fiscal year 2019. The ranking is based on the sale data from the "honto" online store, digital bookstores, and the major bookstore chains that have used the "honto" service between November 2018 and October 2019. 

  There are 17 light novel series that have had their TV anime adaptations by November 13, 2019 (this ranking includes Sorcerous Stabber Orphen, whose new TV anime adaptation is set for January 2020).

  The top-selling series of this year is Fujino Omori's Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. The second season of its TV anime adaptation was aired for 12 episodes from July to September, and the third season is already set for the summer of 2020. Then, Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online and Miya Kazuki's Ascendance of a Bookworm follow in second and third in the ranking.
