DI MUSICA NON CE N'E' MAI ABBA-STANZA - con la collaborazione di Elisa Mariani

...e per una volta tanto, mi perdonino i visitatori di questo blog, se l'argomento di questo pezzo potrebbe sembrare leggero, per altri banale, per alcuni anche fuori luogo, mentre invece non lo è affatto. Intanto perchè il titolo e l'immagine sotto il titolo stesso rimandano a un periodo durante il quale la musica era davvero un momento non solo di divertimento e di evasione, ma pure di una cultura giovanile dal significato non indifferente; e poi perchè il genere rappresentato dal gruppo svedese degli "Abba", nei testi non era affatto banale, ma era orientato verso un universo giovanile diverso da quello del tempo attuale. Tra fermenti ideologici anche sin troppo marcati e che portarono a conflitti sociali decisamente pesanti per l'epoca, ma anche a lunghi periodi di benessere sociale, gli anni '70 e gran parte degli anni '80 (quelli, appunto, durante i quali gli "Abba" ebbero maggiore fulgore), rimangono ancora oggi ricordati come gli anni migliori della società e non solo di quella italiana.

Elisa Mariani (qui sotto in una foto di qualche anno fa),

cantante della "cover-band" "The Club / The Abba Tribute Band", a suo modo ne è un po' l'emblema di quegli stessi anni.

Appassionata del genere heavy-metal, Elisa scopre il gruppo -comunque allora costituitosi da poco- grazie al fatto che a Massimo Numa, ideatore del progetto e chitarrista del "Club",

e d'accordo con Beppe Maggioni, (legati tra loro da un rapporto d'amicizia oltre che "colleghi" d'arte) venne l'idea di chiedere a Elisa la disponibilità di poter diventare colei che poi si è "incarnata" nella "mora" degli Abba (ovvero Anni-Frid Lyngstad, mentre Agnetha Fältskog era la bionda, e i due uomini del gruppo scandinavo erano Björn Ulvaeus e Benny Andersson).

Anche se un grosso contributo nel delineare quella che è diventata la "line-up" definitiva fu Battista Forlani, ex-tastierista del "The Club" e anch'egli fondatore dello stesso progetto di cui qualche riga sopra, che tra musicisti e cantanti varie, cercò proprio la stessa Elisa Mariani.

"Ma il perchè di questo articolo, qual'è?", vi chiederete: la risposta è facile. Elisa, tra le molte cantanti della terra orobica (ma anche di quella lombarda) con la sua voce ma soprattutto con la sua semplicità che dimostra sul palco, con umiltà ma soprattutto con la gioia che sa esprimere, trasmette sensazioni di bellezza interiore e momenti di felicità, energia, condividendo con il pubblico entusiasmo e passione.

"Ho iniziato a 23-24 anni, in realtà mi piacevano molto i cori. Sono cresciuta con il genere metal, mia madre ascoltava gli "Halloween", la stessa musica italiana in casa mia non esisteva, poi con il tempo ho scoperto BonJovi, Queen, Europa e gli Abba li sentivo in radio ma senza conoscerli nel dettaglio; di recente sono passata a generi più soft come il ryhthm 'n blues, soul, funky".

Artista e cantante eclettica, dunque, Elisa si è cimentata non molto tempo fa anche con l'evento andato in "scena" a Woodstock sul finire degli anni '60 interpretando le migliori cantanti dell'epoca, Janis Joplin in primis (il sottoscritto ricorda un concerto a Malpaga che fu la degna commemorazione di quell'evento storico).

Domanda a Elisa: ma cosa vuoi trasmettere con le canzoni in generale?

-Soprattutto condivisione con il pubblico e il contatto con il pubblico. In quanto a trasmettere qualcosa, dipende dalle canzoni e da ciò che sento verso determinate situazioni, perchè ogni canzone ha il suo di strettamente personale che mi lega a qualcuno. Non canto solo per me stessa ma per gli altri, una sorta di dare emozioni e ricevere emozioni. Credo che una serata musicale possa dare un sacco di energia positiva, alza il tono energetico e c'è n'è bisogno specie in questo momento storico non felice, però tutto ciò contribuisce a rendere felici le persone.

Ringraziando Elisa per la sua disponibilità, e attendendo da lei alcune novità musicali (e senza dubbio costituiranno una bellissima sorpresa), il saluto e l'omaggio è per il video (visibile al link-facebook) del concerto tenuto dalla cover-band "The Club / The Abba Tribute Band" a Gorle nella serata di giovedì 15 settembre 2022 con il brano intitolato "Does your mother now".
