just learned of Ryewhisker being a canon cat in the books when for a few years I've had an oc named Ryewhisker, who is also a brown cat with green eyes. She's probably still very different considering she's a lesbian medicine cat who is secretly mates with a medicine cat from another clan

Two more Anons asked for RyeCloud and Good!Stepdad!DarkXGoldenflower! I added Swiftpaw and Lynxkit as DarkGolden kits as a treat!

In the first AU, Ryewhisker and Cloudberry get their leaders together to talk about getting a peace treaty together (both cats anxious about what might happen to the other if a fight happened) and accidentally set the clans on a path to inter-clan relationships being widely accepted. The pair settle on the border, becoming semi-permanent border guards, and stick in Riverclan when the kits are born, but only because it’s closer.

In the second AU, Darkstripe is Patchpelt and Willowpelt’s brother, and good friends with Goldenflower. When she decides she wants kits but not a mate, he volunteers on the condition he gets to be in their lives. His presence in the nursery saves Lynxkit from an adder that sneaks in for warmth, and he decides to become a nursery warrior. When Tigerclaw defects, Bramblekit and Tawnykit both have Darkstripe to fall back on. And when Swiftpaw, Lynxpaw, and Brightpaw go looking for what’s our in the woods, Darkstripe tails them, yanking Swiftpaw up into the tree to safety. Forewarned and shaken out of her stupor for a moment, Bluestar gives them proper warrior names before dying to the dogs a la canon. Darkstripe helps raise many kits, finally passing in the Great Battle, taking Brokenstar with him. And Darkstripe is there to give deputy Swiftleap a life for knowing when to change.

How have you changed Morningstar's, Ryewhisker's, and Cloudberry's story so that they go to the Dark Forest?

Barely!

Ryewhisker and Cloudberry: StarClan's Conscientious Objectors

Their story is largely unchanged. This time, they choose to go to the Dark Forest in protest. The first amendment to the code, Rule 3, the Law of Loyalty, was proposed to ban their love and they refused to accept that.

You can choose to leave StarClan. The Dark Forest is a nightmare, but it's not as desolate as canon.

Morningstar: Pacifist in a Battle Culture

The biggest change of his story is that he does not get the chance to "repent." He stopped ThunderClan from engaging in a war after a lot of death, tried to pursue peace at all cost, and then died and his deputy started the war that Morningstar tried to avoid. He prevented warriors from engaging in the Right of Challenge and 'made cowards' of his Clanmates.

If he was judged today, he would have been brought into StarClan. Not out of love and respect, but because... he didn't do anything damnable. StarClan would still dislike him as a leader but he wouldn't be hell-worthy.

StarClan's morality shifts over time, as older spirits fade and younger souls join. Cats like Morningstar get caught up in that, sometimes.
