decided to make/establish my own ship names for the boys that weren't just their names, even if i don't use them out of convenience, tc___3 and king of ____ are a lil basic if we're being honest..
vern & nick : sugar and spice
vern & sophist : sweet n' sour
vern & brent : flower crown
nick & sophist : vines and thorns / toxic waste / pride and prejudice
nick & brent : biarchy / bianarchy / dual crowns
brent & sophist : law and disorder
all four : poly crashers
#& vines and thorns & poly crashers& law and disorder are not original#but the others are/are only inspired#im probably most proud of flower crown tho tbh#just bc i had no idea what i was gonna do for them#law and disorder is also too perfect for brent and sophist for me to not use it#biarchy makes less sense but i was trying to reference how they both have crowns (??? uhhh kinda dumb the more i think abt it lol)#also not a ship name but ârules are made to be broken/followedâ fits brent and sophist's ship dynamic/friendship SO well#sweet n' sour is inspired by a fanart post in vern's discord#pc rpf#rpf#tcvern3#king of soph#im not tagging the other ships bc i have no idea what they're called tbh#main posts

todoshin for the ask game đ
todoshin + kill the lights by set it off
kill the lights, kill the actor, kill the actress iâm afraid that the spotlight dried you up
âI think you should go underground,â Shouto says, out of nowhere, the second Hitoshi steps into their dorm room. Hitoshiâs room. Why is Shouto even here?
They blink tiredly. âWhat?â
âYou donât like being in the spotlight,â he points out. âWeâre not even full-time pros yet, and you look drained after every interview. Itâs not good for you.â
Hitoshi doesnât have time for this. They shake their head, pushing past Shouto and flopping onto their bed. Shouto doesnât give up, though, sitting carefully beside him. He plays with Hitoshiâs hair silently for a moment, and they dare to believe they may have effectively killed this conversation before it could really begin.
But then, Shouto continues, âWhy donât you want to go underground?â
Hitoshi shrugs, as much as he can while lying down. Itâs not a truthful response, thoughâthey know exactly why theyâre opposed to being an underground hero. They seriously considered it, especially because Aizawa told them he thought it would suit them better, and Aizawa knows Hitoshi. He wouldnât steer them wrong.
Itâs justâŠ
They sigh, turning their head so their words arenât muffled by their pillow. âWhen I was a kid, I wanted to see a hero with a quirk people said was villainous. Now that I can be that hero, isnât it my responsibility to be the person kids with so-called villainous quirks can look up to?â
Shouto tilts their head. âNo.â
ââŠNo?â
âNo,â Shouto repeats. âYour responsibility is to take care of yourself, so you can be a hero and save people. I think the people who need a hero like you will find you, whether youâre underground or not. You knew about Eraserhead before getting into UA, right?â
âWellââ Hitoshi looks away. âYes,â they admit.
âOkay. So.â Shouto pats their head awkwardly. âYou should go underground.â
Hitoshi doesnât want to give in so easilyâthey want to be a hero people can look up to. If they become a hero to prove âvillainousâ quirks donât have to be villainous, but no one even knows they exist, that sort of defeats the whole purpose.
Howeverâ
Shouto has a point. They really hate being in the spotlight.
âIâll think about it,â they relent.
The smile Shouto gives them in return is enough to let Hitoshi know theyâve made the right choice.
#'100 words' the ask game post said. 'rules were made to be broken' i replied and proceeded to completely ignore that#um. i love them. btw.#ty for the ask <33#todoshin#shintodo#bnha#grace's writing tag#ela tag

always skeptical of anyone who says doing something specific makes you a bad writer. sure that applies for some things, like you need to read to write and there are things you should keep in mind. but the cardinal rule of writing to me is know all the rules so you know when to break them.
#and the rules do get broken. all the time#post brought to you by my irritation over my creative writing prof saying people who don't rewrite are bad writers#editing is a crucial part of writing ofc#and ymmv but in my book everyone has their own method and trying to box someone in isn't going to help#sigh i don't have high hopes for this class#i wish i could drop it but whatever#plus he wants us not to write love poems or breakup poems. well fuck you and your stupid white male sci-fi obsessed portfolio i find people#to be at their most genuine when they talk about love and just cause u dont wanna have to read breakup poems and just cause u think people#would get offended at criticism about it doesn't mean we shouldn't write them#almost every poem is a love poem in some shape or form#AND I LOVE LOVE FUCK YOUUUUU I WASNT EVEN GOING TO WRITE ANY BUT IT MADE ME SO MAD#sorry. he's like a nice person.

HC; Disconnect.
Amphoreus is a journey where witness and player is woven into one. For Caelus, this brings a strange sense of feeling estranged outside of the matters happening before his eyes. For better or worse, to be an active force or to keep behind, this overwhelming duty to record threatens to twist some idea of 'narrative' into his mind. To look at the people, the struggle, and the inevitable calamities and losses as an experience he's now dutybound to draw in.
Its a strange way for him to actively see another view of his style of Trailblaze. For him, personalizing each and every matter he steps into is a core goal. It's a way for him to not only enrich, but to actively temper his very being alongside those who join upon his path. So where does it go when this methodology becomes so strict? When it becomes important to take himself out the sight as well, to see it from some 'higher' venue?
Lonely. Similar to the frosted radiance of the Aeon who recently unearth a new path forward, there's a gnawing understanding that's constantly being developed. As it stands, there's a wealth of mystery set before the Trailblazer, many thoughts that have to sew themselves tighter through that all too valued experience, but part of him can't help but come to dread it.
As it stands. The tale of Amphoreus looks as if it wishes to ensure the tragedy, and the people locked within those gilded chains of such a fate that it's forgotten no matter what. That he can understand.
Yet is it foolish to change something that potentially already happened?
Why does he feel as if there's a burgeoning possibility requires an iron will and hands willing to get bloodied? Some thread of hope exists, and it becomes a tempering resolution to see this through.
He refuses to witness this only as a pre-determined tale, no matter how many ways he has to 'bastardize' these very events himself.
#| HCs#Had to sweep up for one him with the latest events#Interesting realm of thought for him to be in#'Rules made to be broken' may soon gain a new meaning

Name: Odile Weimer Davisson Age: 27 Height: 6'1" Species: Spotted Hyena Likes: Rocking out on the drums, singing along to her favorite songs on car rides, radicalism Dislikes: Being touched, being alone, corrupt authority Birthday: October 4th Go-To Sandwich Order: Grilled Cheese
If there's one person you can never catch Ruby without, it's the ever-rambunctious and steadfast Odile Davisson. Odile is to Ruby as Lulu is to Gigi, seeing as the two have been close friends ever since the bump in the road that were Odile's years in middle school. She may boast a relatively fiery, almost intimidating exterior, though she always... okay, mostly means well.
Odile was diagnosed with BPD at a relatively young age, and as such, her mood swings and unpredictable behaviors tend to intimidate others, though she takes pride knowing that the three people she holds dearestâ Ruby, Echo and Julesâ will never leave her side. From this, Odile has rightfully earned the 'hype person of the group' title, and is always extremely and openly supportive of her friends.

I know Iâm being a hater and this is a 100% harmless thing thatâs just a pet peeve of mine but truly one of the most annoying brands of post is âI donât care about writing, grammar or punctuation rules. I do what I want!â And then the examples they give are. Completely in line with grammar/punctuation/writing conventions. And itâs like oh ok. You donât even know what these rules are but youâve decided youâre against them even as you follow them without knowing it. You are the writing equivalent of people who think Taylor Swift is punk just so you know.
#like thereâs that one post thatâs like âI will use commas recklessly idc if itâs a run-onâ and itâs like ok so you do not know what a#run-on is. and the incredibly long sentence with multiple commas youâve provided as an âexampleâ of you not caring about ârun-onsâ is not#only not a run-on itâs completely grammatically correct. lol. ok.#and then thereâs that post thatâs like âHonestly I donât think you should have to follow grammar rules if it ruins the effect. I will use#sentence fragments and long sentences and make errors if it creates the emotional effect I want in my writing.â And itâs like yes. correct.#That is a well-established widely-understood convention of creative writing. have you ever read a book before? did you not notice that the#writer probably used âincorrect grammarâ frequently? did you assume that was a mistake and not an intentional choice?#and idk I regularly see posts like this and itâs so funny because these people clearly learned these rules and clearly prefer to follow#these rules - yet they donât understand that theyâve learned them or follow them#and really want to position themselves as rebels and these rules as adversaries lol and they just. donât even know how completely#proper/conventional/unrebllious theyâre actually being#meanwhile the people they imagine to be opposed to their rebellion (other writers and readers and probs English and language teachers)#are not in reality opposed to breaking grammar/punctuation/writing rules or grammar and havenât been for a long time#because the idea that everyone had to follow standard English perfectly in all contexts is completely outdated and stopped being the#popular belief decades ago.#so itâs like. not only are you NOT breaking the rule you think youâre breaking - but you donât need to make some final stand defending your#choice to break it either. because nobody cares. nobody wants to stop you. everybody else is either breaking rules or recognizing that the#rules are made to be broken. so itâs fine. please relax.
