The Royal Family have united at a Christmas concert hours after the controversial documentary came to a conclusion this morning.
Kate Middleton is hosting the concert at Westminster Abbey in London, where royals will come together for the festive event.
The concert will be broadcast as part of Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, a special programme narrated by Catherine Zeta Jones, which will air on ITV1 at Christmas Eve.
The special Christmas service is dedicated to the late Queen and will recognise the selfless efforts of individuals, families and communities across the UK.
A synopsis for the show outlines that the service aims to dedicate the late monarch and the values that she demonstrated throughout her life, including “duty, empathy, faith, service, kindness, compassion and support for others.”
It adds: “These principles are shared and personified by the inspirational guests who have been invited to the Abbey in recognition of their tireless work to help and care for those around them.”
Prince William, King Charles, Camilla, The Queen Consort, and other members of the Royal Family will be in attendance.
Kate looked incredibly festive in a beautiful fit and flare plum V-neck style dress for the evening.
She matched her look with a pair of suede heeled shoes and a glittery clutch bag, and accessorised her look with what appeared to be drop ruby gem earrings.
With her brunette locks styled into bouncy blow dried curls, she smiled at crowds who were gathered by the Abbey in London as she was pictured walking past a row of lit Christmas trees.
Following her arrival, other members of the family were pictured attending the venue.
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank, and her sister Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi followed into the church.
Sophie, the Countess of Wessex, was then seen entering, wearing an elegant white trench coat.
The Abbey is filled with festive decorations to provide a beautiful Christmas backdrop and some of the nation’s most beloved carols, including O Come, All Ye Faithful, will be sung.
There will be performances from Craig David, Alexis Ffrench and Samantha Barks, and a special duet from Alfie Boe and former Spice Girl Melanie C.
Readings from Prince William, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Hugh Bonneville and Kadeena Cox have also been organised.
As well as this, the broadcast will feature additional content, including an introduction from Kate, as well as films highlighting individuals who have gone above and beyond to support others this year, and tributes to the Queen.
Kate recently published a behind-the-scenes filming picture on The Prince and Princess of Wales’ official Twitter account.
Wearing a sequin-covered Aurora Ballerina Dress from Needle & Thread that she debuted at a Buckingham Palace reception in January 2020, the Princess stood in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree as she beamed at the camera.
The princess wore her hair in loose curls and rocked the same dangling ruby Soru earrings she wore the first time she sported the dress.
She captioned the post:
"#TogetherAtChristmas @ itv Christmas Eve."
Social media users have taken to express their joy at Kate hosting the Carol concert again this year, as well as complimenting how "lovely" she always looks.
One person wrote: "The Princess looks so beautiful. Can't wait for this year's Christmas concert."
And another said: "So much beauty, talent and grace! Thank you Prince William for marrying someone that makes the UK and the Commonwealth so proud!"
While a third put: "Looking forward to it. Hoping that it is now an annual tradition. Loving the jobs that you are doing for us all."
And a fourth wrote: "Wow, Princess of Wales looking stunning and classy."
Another user said: "Catherine always looks lovely. Cannot wait to see who will be involved this year. Last year was amazing!"
Last year, Kate also sported red for the “Together at Christmas” event, wearing a Catherine Walker coat dress with a large bow at the neck.
She also sat down to play the piano for a special performance with singer Tom Walker, wowing the British public.

do you have any theories/ ideas about what PR moves or stories might come out from the world of the Sussexes in the run up to Christmas? Christmas is a guaranteed time of coverage for the royals (carol concert, Christmas day trip to church) so do you think they'll put anything else out to match?
The only three things I can think of are:
A Christmas card photo with the kids featured front and center. But my confidence is low, and the guess is based on a) Sussex PR from earlier in the year about how they were thinking about taking the kids to Vancouver IG and b) rumors that Meghan is very bothered by the internet's allegations of divorce rumors.
Tyler Perry's award thing. The gala is happening on December 4th. I wouldn't be surprised if we get an "embargoed" photo drop or a People/Page Six/etc. exclusive from the Sussexes to overshadow or compete with Kate's 'Together at Christmas' service happening on December 6th. My confidence is high on this one.
A red carpet charity gala/Christmas party. This seems to be Meghan's trajectory of late - red carpets and glam launch events. I can see her trying to do a Christmas party (or crash a Christmas party) in a fauxyal attempt.
I don't think they'd try "will they won't they" for Sandringham since the palace has already said they hadn't been invited. I suppose they could try PR for a New Year's visit, but they haven't done that before.
To be honest with you all, I'm more curious about what they will do to make Kate's birthday about themselves. Since past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior, I think they're going to be quiet for Christmas and will come out with something in early January that deflects from Kate's birthday (January 9th):
2017: Pap photos from Skippy's wedding on January 7th followed by Meghan's PR about giving Kate a dream journal for her birthday on January 10th when they ran into each other on London (which I find incredibly suspicious but that's a sidebar for later).
2018: Meghan shut down her social media and had KP officially announce it.
2019: Meghan announces her first patronages and makes her first clap back to Duchess Difficult rumors
2020: Megxit
2021: Harry and Meghan announce they have shut down their Sussex social media.
2022: (didn't work; Kate has a milestone birthday.)
2023: Spare and Harry's media tour
2024: Meghan tries to launch a Hollywood comeback but it doesn't work when Suits has a red carpet reunion without her.

Do you think C&C will attend Catherine's Christmas carol service this year? They went in 2022 but skipped 2023
I'm not sure.
I feel like they might, since Charles himself went through the kind of hardship and received the kind of outpouring of support, empathy, and kindness that the theme talks about. I hope they do since it would be a nice show of support for Kate.
But on the other hand, they might not. The Qatar state visit is earlier that week (12/3 - 12/4) and depending how "on" Charles has to be, that may not be enough recovery time for him.
Y'all, I can't believe how close to Christmas we are. (I mean, I should. I dragged my tree out of storage today.)
I just looked at the royal calendar and here's what we've got coming up:
12/3 - 12/4: Qatar State Visit. I think the banquet will be on 12/3 so yay! Tiaras! (I think it will be unlikely that Kate attends any portion of it but if she does, I think it'll be the welcome ceremony since the kids will be in school and the banquet might go on too late in the evening for her since she'll want to conserve her energy for Friday.)
12/6: Together at Christmas.
Week of 12/16: Windsor Luncheon at Buckingham Palace
I think we'll see the Waleses' Christmas card around 12/6 as well. Last year, the photo was published the day after 'Together at Christmas.' I think they might go for the day before this year.
Lastly is the Diplomatic Reception. My guess is it will be the week of 12/11 since the first week of December (when it's been held the last 2 years) is already pretty packed.
