I think Rowena is long-sighted she just refuses to regularly wear glasses about it for vain and stubborn reasons, and continues to refuse for the LONGEST time until somewhere post-canon as she continues to chill out and realises that just wearing glasses might actually be less embarrassing than literally pretending to know what she just read. Also modern glasses now finally have cool and stylish frames that she actually likes the look of so it wouldn’t bother her as much anyway.

Fergus was also long-sighted but he actually did have a pair of little circular 18th century spectacles to correct the issue. Crowley mostly goes without them for similarly vain but slightly less stubborn reasons as Rowena, but he will still pull out a pair of (modern, in his opinion sexy) glasses to read things, old man-style.
