season 4 Ross Poldark is my favorite man ever

SPOILERS FOR SEASONS 2-4 OF POLDARK

for everyone wondering if he redeems himself: it is my belief that he does

yes, he is still reckless and loves Elizabeth, but not in the way he used to. he is good and kind to Demelza and loves his children. he says some poignant things in s4 that really touched my heart. he takes Demelza's thoughts into consideration and trusts her with many more things as the seasons continue, and still has a strong moral compass that keeps people from getting killed.

he isn't perfect; he holds a very strong grudge against Hugh, but he also apologizes sincerely and tries to change his behavior. Ross is very flawed, proud, stubborn, and easily provoked. but what i love about him is that he makes an effort to mend what is broken. i didn't notice the gaslighting people were talking about, but overall i think he redeems himself. just my opinion :)

Okay, Rupert Campbell-Black is 100% red flags, but “I can’t breathe without you” is echoing in my head, Jesus Christ.

That whole breach of the no touching rule moment had such shades of Ross & Demelza’s “Do you know what they say about us?” “Let it be true.” Moment. 🫦

I need all the forbidden romance novels and tv series immediately before I explode.

Not Aidan Turner walking out of his 'hot vampire', 'heart-throb dwarf', 'sexy Cornish mine/landowner' eras, brushing off his hands saying, "I'm playing dads now, so no more 'hot, sexy, heart-throb for me!" And then walking directly into a pole with DILF on it...

morally grey characters are nice they are hot they are sexy BUT WHAT ABOUT THE GOLDEN FLUFFY BOYS THAT WANT TO SAVE THE WORLD yeah the brooding dark haired anti heroes would burn the world down for you but the morally white blinding white boys will try to make the world a better place for you. they would rather die than lose their faith in humanity even if humanity loses their faith in them and something about the pure good that thrives within them makes me go hshdhsjsjgdh “no nobody is dying I can save everyone” while bleeding to death themselves. enemies to lovers very hot. but I’m a sucker for chivalry and morals✋

An early weekend update on Duty.
