Comments: Been mulling over getting some more hobbit-based fandragons of late, and after finally managing the trade for a Sunlit Kelpie Mane, I was trying it out on different breeds, hit female fae, and immediately thought “Rosie Cotton!”. Some digging around on AH and testing in dressing room with searched dragons who matched possible secondary genetics settled me on buying this one. After that it was just some more testing in morphology, and checking what would breed reasonably well with Samwise’s genetics (because of course they need to have at least one clutch together), for me to sort out all of what I wanted to gene her up with.

...she may be the most beautiful fandragon I’ve ever put together.

Day 28: Share your top ten favorite dragons

Okay, selecting this set was hard. I have so many dragons I love for one reason or another. Like every dingle fandragon I currently possess. Or the ones that I’ve grimly held onto through multiple culls, because I’m so attached to them. Or have spent stupid amounts of treasure and/or gems on for one reason or another.

This is mainly my favourites of a whole bunch of types; my favourite progen, tree dragon, Lycaon, fossil, butterfae, project, coli team member, keep forever, just because, and fandragon.

Day 15: Share your favorite Fae

It would have been very easy to pick mor than 10 for this category, since I have an addiction to butterfae *aka butterfly-like fae), decided halfling = fae for my Fandragons of Middle Earth collection, and just kind of overall love the look of adult female fae.

Day 9: Share your favorite Wind dragons

Okay, there is just no way I can cut this down to only 10 dragons. I was Wind Flight for several years and therefor have a lot of wind eyed dragons, and I was already dropping dragons from this photoset before I even reached the hibernal lair. So this is going to be a photoset+ post, with the following additions.

Susuwatari - she was a birthday present,and the only of my Studio Ghibli fandragons I still have:

Blue - another fandragon, lead raptor of the Raptor Squad from Jurassic World. Bred him myself, and yeah, I know he should be a she, but long story.

Loki - another very early fandragon, and another I bred myself:

Potential offspring of RosieCotton and Samwise, Fairly equal amounts of giraffe vs vipera for primary, contour vs underbelly for secondary, and mostly peregrine with just an occasional trail for secondary. Primary in a wide range of colours including goldtones, orangesm browns, reds, and pinks edging into near-whites. Secondary and tertiary of goldtones and oranges.
