Introducing Aisling Wylde, a 22 year old historian who took up boxing as a hobby (a la aggretsuko) and ended up competing in the WVBA. Seeing as she is from Cork, she naturally befriended our beloved Irish bag of shit Aran and his younger sister. She’s quite possibly the one bit of stability in their lives that exists even marginally outside of boxing, and has adopted a secondary parental role for Rory, taking her to the castles she maintains/educates people about, allowing her to get actual plushes when shopping, and being one of the few female role models in her life that isn’t … significantly questionable.

Aisling’s relationship with Aran is also of note; they have a sort of mutual pining thing going on that neither of them act on due to stubbornness/worry that it’ll ruin what they already have as a friendship. Being the only Irish people in the organization means they immediately got along (due to simply having common ground), so there’s this sort of worry that these feelings are only there because, again, shared interests, and because they work together (read They often box each other). Rory notices, doesn’t say anything. Not her place. Some of the other fighters try to nudge Aran to say something, especially Don (who even tries to give him advice), but to no avail.

Mockup magazine advertising WVBA's women division, mostly based on the 4 temperaments and rebooting 2 preexisting obscure characters (+ pseudo Shinobu Kandori). Backstories and sketches below:

After spending months on programming the perfect artificial coach, Alice had completely neglected the physical training itself. It's a (painful) work in progress, as her only remarkable qualities are her height and intelligence.

As the name suggests, Arm Candy used to be a well-known ring girl in the WVBA, until ultimately getting dumped by a boxer. However, she would manage to reach World Circuit in just a matter of three years, sacrificing her all positive reputation to be the headcase that she is nowadays.

Once a judoka and now the champion of the World Circuit, Kandori's jolly attitude is off-putting to many, and relieving to a few. Though it's well known that she has no preference when it comes to size or sex: every oponent is a step closer to becoming Japan's strongest woman.

Succumbing to the competitiveness against her brother, Rory chose to box despite having practiced collar and elbow back in her homeland. That's why her fights are prone to irish leglocks and uncalled kicks to the face, if she's in a particularly bad mood.
