i remember watching a cob concert on youtube once and for some reason the guys started cooking sausages on the flame thrower things. Today I decided to ilustrate that moment as badly as I could in ms paint lol

Looked up some stuff about Roope Latvala because I realized I never really found out why he parted from Children of Bodom, and apparently it seems to be alcoholism. Obviously everyone in the band was a heavy drinker, but apparently Roope drank the most to the point it interfered with the band. They put up with it for a long time, and if you do some digging you can find quotes here and there where they talk about Roope's drinking, but it looks like by the time I Worship Chaos came out they just couldn't deal with it anymore. Apparently he was the reason they couldn't play certain songs for awhile, because he wasn't good enough to play them. It also seems to line up with the band's discography that the music got less technical during Roope's tenure with the band. A few interviews with Roope kind of prove Alexi's side of the story, that he wasn't really serious with the band and was skipping rehearsals. He himself admits in one interview that he had to skip them due to things like being hungover. But of course he does the whole "Hey, they were drinking too, so they were hypocrites." We obviously can't doubt that the rest of the band were alcoholics, but clearly they were still functional as far as the band was concerned.
