Well, I said it would happen by the end of the weekend, and apparently what I meant was it would be up before the end of the evening today. Oops. Honor Amongst Beasts is officially up for anyone wanting to read Rhaenys being aggressively over how messy her family has become.

Summary: It’s a dirty, thankless job, but someone has to do it. That’s what she’s been telling herself for years now, swallowing teeth and dragonsfire in the name of keeping the peace in her ever-fracturing family. Some part of her once believed it was the price she had to pay for her decision years ago to not bend to her Grandfather’s will and marry Viserys, seeing all this destruction and death from the sidelines, forbidden from even raging against it publicly much less stepping in and stopping it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Rhaenys was the correct choice to send to Rook’s Rest but the real mistake was sinking to their level and engaging in the fight. If she parked Meleys on that keep and just told them all to shut up and go home, the real Battle of Rook’s Rest would be all 3000 of those Green men trying hard for the entire walk back to King’s Landing not to ask their commanding officers how long they rehearsed getting that “yes mommy” in unison between Crispy Cole with a clearly demonstrated fetish for Queens, the drunk child, and the one we all expect to be a problem because of the anger issues but it’s ok because 95% of his decision making capabilities are actually housed in the mommy issues part of the brain.
