I miss the epilogue celebration party from the other games, and seeing what each decision branched out to be at the end, and the little hints at the companions' lives after it all ends....
#the lack of a party stings they were such a nice way to end the game#and the epilogue slides in Veilguard are just... very vague and barely change based on what choices you make#partly because this game is shorter and doesn't have as many choices#and partly because the choices just... don't matter as much as they did in the other games#Rook has very little agency it feels like iunno#I do hope the team gets to make a dlc or two and you know#actually get to /make/ the story they wanted to tell#instead of having to butcher their story over and over for idiot management who have no idea why this series was so beloved#ah well#Neve romance was darling that was very enjoyable#and punching Solas!!!! ah!! that was amazing 10/10 glad I got to do it at least once#my HoF!Kid Rook is going to lie her ass off to him about the dagger when I pick her back up so I can see the trifecta#canon world state is Solas makes the right choice ofc because like I Get It#but I think Rook did deserve to punch him in every timeline and universe y'know for catharsis#less bitter taste the second time around but I think I'm just... more tired and disappointed than angry#I feel so bad for the team they did such a good job with what they had#DAV Posting
