Back to Lahti in September 2023

Lauantai ja Sunnuntai

I didn't do much this weekend, because I got a little bit sick and didn't want to get a real flu.

The most exciting thing that happened was another fire drill. At least nobody from our floor caused it this time xD

And today we went out on a stroll through Lahti City and came around Ristinkirkko, a church designed by famous architect Alvar Aalto.

Charlie and I even came upon a little cute squirrel ♡_♡

la Iglesia de la Cruz (Ristinkirkko) en Lahti fue proyectada por Alvar Aalto a raíz del concurso que ganó en 1950. La construcción del edificio se pospuso hasta que se eligió un sitio de construcción completamente diferente. El sitio designado se encuentra en una colina, en la cual se ubicaba la iglesia de madera de la ciudad de finales del siglo XIX, diseñada por Jacob Ahrenberg.
