Asahi pisses me off on so many levels because like. One, hes a cunt. Two, how does a self proclaimed follower of Zenos so fundamentally misunderstand him?? Yeah no shit he chose Yotsuyu over you, you dumb bitch. Yotsuyu’s whole reason for existing was her hatred for the doman people. It doesn’t matter how clever or calculating or devoted asahi was, nothing he did would ever approach the level of misery yotsuyu could inflict onto the domans. Yeah Asahi objectively would have done a better job as viceroy, but Zenos didn’t care about that. He just wanted a monster worth his time.
