dennis and dee having a similar sense of style is already one of my favourite trash twin details but i think it’s even sweeter if dee got her taste in fashion from her younger brother

Once Andrew and Aaron become friends as well as brothers, they become “insecure girlfriends.” Aaron will walk into a room with Andrew in it and say “hey” to announce his presence, and Andrew would usually give some sort of acknowledgment, but if he doesn’t, it gives Aaron so much anxiety he has to like nervously fidget in place and stare until Andrew feels him staring and looks up to which Aaron asks, “Are you mad at me?” And Andrew pops out a headphone and is like, “What?” And then Aaron is hit with a wave of relief and just blows Andrew off by rolling his eyes and going on his merry way like, “I was just saying hey.”

Andrew hovers. Usually, he only does it with Neil or maybe Kevin, but he does it with Aaron, too. He presses into Aaron’s personal space without touching him because physical touch is, unfortunately, Andrew’s love language, but it’s hard, so he just gets really fucking close and Aaron is aware of this because he used to get annoyed about it before Bee unintentionally told on Andrew. After that, when Andrew hovers, Aaron doesn’t mind so much, but sometimes he does. He gets in moods, and everything is annoying, and now Andrew is standing too close, so he says something about it that doesn’t read well to Andrew, so he shuts down and makes sure to stay out of Aaron’s way to the point it is evident so Aaron has to think back on it to figure out that this is Andrew’s version of “Do you hate me? Do you still love me?” And Aaron has to give a peace offering to settle Andrew's anxiety.

Eventually, they grow out of their insecurities, but the foxes find quiet amusement in watching them learn how to love each other.
