Aspects to Consider while Buying Weighing Scale
If you are planning to buy a retail weighing scale, then here are some features you can consider before buying a weighing scale.

What are the most common kinds of kitchen racks?
1. Mini kitchen rack on the table:
Various porcelain bowls should not be placed on storage tables that have a certain height in the kitchen, as this wastes space. To make good use of the space, you can purchase some small countertop storage racks, such as ones that can hold seasoning bottles, spoons, shovels, etc. Keeping the kitchen clean and simple after storage makes the whole cooking environment relaxed and natural.
2. Small microwave oven rack:
A small multi-layer storage rack is very convenient for storing microwave ovens, ovens, and other items. Microwaves, ovens, and other items can be stored on such small multi-layer storage racks, which often have a very small footprint. A housewife can adjust the position of the storage rack in the entire kitchen at will due to its unfixed placement.
3. Freestanding kitchen rack:
There will be a lot of mess in some kitchens as the number of kitchen utensils increases. It is now possible to store several common pots and cooking utensils in a large kitchen utensil rack so that they can be easily accessed in the kitchen. In the kitchen, find nooks where items can be conveniently accessed without causing clutter and distractions.
How to choose the best self for the kitchen:
The first thing you should do is estimate the size of your kitchen, as well as the type and number of items you are expected to store. Space can be saved by using reasonable storage. After planning, select the model and brand that will best suit your needs. Our favorite products are those with high quality and low prices. If our kitchen is cluttered with many items, it will appear messy. Choosing the right kitchen storage rack is very important at this point.
EQUAL microwave oven stand with good load capacity is a great tool to organize your kitchen. Excellent workmanship, high load-bearing capability, and space-saving.

A woman doesn't notice that one of the bras she bought is a nursing one. Once she wears it her boobs fill with milk and keep growing
Anya had always had big boobs.
Ever since they had started growing at age 13, they had been on the larger scale. The process for buying bathing suits and bras in particular had always proven a challenge; she had a very petite frame, but her breasts seemed to stick out of everything, and were often sore from the padding that came with retail bras.
Which was why finding the Abra Cadabra bra in the return pile at Target meant so much to her. She looked at herself wearing it in the mirror, turning this way and that. There was virtually no padding, so while her nipples did poke through the fabric a bit, it was super comfortable. The straps didn't dig in, which was another huge bonus.
She marveled at how well it supported her jugs, even bouncing them by the straps. Though they did jiggle quite a bit, it still felt comfortable.
She smiled at herself in the bathroom mirror, finally content. She looked at the box the bra came in, wondering how she had missed this product for so long.
Nursing Bra.
Anya's cheeks flushed. The reason it must have fit so well was because the bra was intended for women with massive jugs nursing their kids.
It was a little embarrassing, but so what, right? No one would know the bra was meant for--
Suddenly, Anya felt a tightness in her breasts. It was a feeling she usually got when her bras were too small, but this bra fit, didn't it? She looked at herself in the mirror, but nothing seemed amiss.
But the feeling continued, even through to the next week.
She stood in front of the mirror again with her top pulled over her breasts, examining them. Her healthy, round double Gs looked... different.
She was no stranger to her cycle filling her cups up a little bit here and there, but this was different. Her breasts looked swollen and full, and they felt like they weighed a ton. Her nipples were constantly hard now, poking through the fabric of the bra like two aching cherries.
"Holy fuck..."
Anya whipped around, jostling her full breasts, and startled at the sound of the man's voice. Ben, her older brother's friend, stood before her. His cheeks were flushed as he stared down at her chest.
She fumbled with her shirt, doing her best to pull it back down over her boobs, but the fabric protested. It was a stretchy fabric, but even it has its limits. Finally, she shoved them into the shirt, the tightness forcing breath from her.
The shirt certainly hadn't been that tight when she put it on this morning...
"Sorry," she finally said. "I was just seeing something..."
"Looking at how big they've gotten?" Ben asked.
Anya flushed. So he noticed too... "I don't know what you mean."
He reached his hands over, gently hoisting her heavy boobs up. She released a heavy sign of relief; who knew her back ached so much from them!
But Ben didn't stop there. Gently, he rubbed his thubs over her nipples, hardening them further. Anya let out a moan; good God, that felt good!
What didn't feel good, however, was the continued tightness in her chest as it strained against a t-shirt unequipped to hold her endowment.
"Your tits were already big. Now, they're..."
Anya squeaked helplessly as he massaged her breasts occasionally jiggling them around. Every jostle not only made her shirt feel even tighter, but her clit begged for release.
"Can I tell you something?" Ben tore his gaze from her breasts to look her in the eyes. "I always had a bit of a crush on you when we were all younger. Couldn't help but picture marrying you, and getting you pregnant as many times as I possibly could."
She bit her lip to stifle the moan of pleasure his words brought her.
Riiiip.
What was that? Anya was too distracted to look away from Ben to bother. He continued handling her, sinking his fingers into her flesh; she could feel each and every gland swell at his touch.
"I couldn't stop myself from thinking about how I'd fuck you, even when you're pregnant. How your tits would get so fucking huge, you'd be some bed-ridden breeding cow..."
His thumbs swirled around the outside of her areolas, teasing the hell out of her.
Finally, with another sound of tearing fabric, she realized her shirt had ripped. Her full breasts pulled her forward from the added weight, and she moaned.
They had never felt this engorged before, let alone so full. She caught sight of them in the mirror. Where she had already been a well-endowed double G cup before, she doubted her old bras would even cover her nipples anymore. The massive mounds had deep blue veins that throbbed near her nipples, and her breasts would have filled her entire lap had Ben not been supporting them.
"God, I wanna put babies in you so bad..."
Her underwear soaked at the suggestion. The idea of being impregnated by him right now made Anya burn with desire.
His touches were agonizingly arousing, and her teats begged for release.
Release?
Finally, Ben squeezed at her nipples playfully, and she realized what had been happening. Two hot spurts of milk showered his face. Anya moaned with pleasure and from the relief; holy fuck, it felt good!
Ben let her breasts go, once again causing her to lurch forward a bit. They swayed, sloshing the gallons of milk that had come out of nowhere. He knelt down so her teats were at eye level before pulling the nursing bra down to reveal her puffy nipples. Steady streams of milk leaked from them, and she begged him internally to lap it up.
But that wasn't the only thing her body needed at the moment, was it?
She stared down at him needily. "B-Ben?"
He looked up, a small smile on his face. "Yeah?"
Anya unbuttoned her jeans and slid them down her legs. "I need you to fuck me. Like... right now."

congrats on 200 followers!! can i request a death note, light yagami x reader with prompt number 5, “Are you trying to flirt with me?” dawn please? <33
Thank you! Just a dumb little drabble <3
-
You watch as he enters the shop and performs his now regular routine. He always has the same focused look as he does it – it’s a straight beeline to the apple display, his right hand reaching out to grab a paper bag before he methodically picks out six of the juiciest-looking red apples and places them inside. He then rolls the top of the bag up and approaches the counter. It’s the fifth day in a row he’s done this and you decide enough is enough - you’re finally going to ask.
He places down the bag on the counter and opens his mouth to say his usual spiel about what he’s purchased, as if you hadn’t seen him pick them out – the store is always quiet at this time, it’s not like there was much else to look at but the fine gentleman making fruit purchases - but you cut him off.
“Are you trying to flirt with me?”
The brunette’s face cheeks flush as red as the apples. “E-excuse me?”
“Come on,” you place your elbows on the counter, rest your head in your hands and lean forward. “You’ve been in here every day this week, always when I’m on the till and you always buy six of the exact same apples.”
“Yeah?” He seems to have recovered enough from your abrupt question for a smug smile to grace his lips. Your heart speeds up a little – there was no denying he was attractive and, of course, he was very aware of the fact. “Maybe I just really like apples.”
You scoff. “No-one likes apples that much.”
“Ah, how can you be so sure?” He places his hands flat down on the counter and leans forward now, maintaining eye contact.
“Well, this is my family’s store, I’ve worked here for years and no-one has ever demonstrated this sort of apple-buying mania.” You pick up the paper bag and place it on the weighing scale, before stating the price and holding your hand out in anticipation of payment.
“Maybe my family really likes apples.” He counters, placing the money in your hand. His fingers linger a moment longer than necessary in the transaction.
“I did consider that,” you admit, dropping the money into the register, “but you’d buy more at a time than you do. Plus, your outfit – smartly dressed. The university’s not so far from here, so I assume you must be a student there, and our shop isn’t exactly on a main thoroughfare there or back. You clearly have to come out of your way to visit, but why so often? After consideration, I’m the only common denominator here.”
“You’re very confident in your conclusion.”
“I imagine that contributes to the attraction.” You shrug.
“Now, I didn’t say that…” His eyes drop down and he finishes his sentence with your name – it’s embroidered across the front of your apron. How did it sound so good coming from his lips?
“You don’t need to say, apple boy.”
There’s an amused eyebrow raise at that. “Apple boy?”
“Well, only one of us is wearing a name tag, so I had to improvise.”
“I suppose you did.” There it is again – the smirk. “So, come clean.” The longer this back and forth is going, a small seed of doubt is growing in your stomach. What if his family are just some sort of apple obsessives? “Are you trying to flirt with me…?” You trail off, hoping for his name.
“Let’s just say I believe your observational skills might be wasted in fruit retail.” He winks as he deftly snatches the paper bag up off the counter and strides towards the door – his coat almost billowing behind him. Just as he’s about to step over the threshold, he pauses, thoughtfully, “Though I think if I were to return tomorrow for something besides transactional, I’d prefer you call me Light.”

We’ve seen the videos of groups of people entering retail stores and cleaning them out and how cities across the state are trying to deal with this. Now California Governor Gavin Newsom is weighing in.
“I want people to know that this is unacceptable. Period. Full stop,” Newsom said during a news conference. “There needs to be accountability; there needs to be arrests. Folks need to be held to account. There’s nothing good or right about this, period. “
In fact, the has proposed a package of legislation he wants state lawmakers to act on to address both retail thieves and auto thieves.
Among the proposals:
Increase penalties for those who steal to resell and for large scale resellers of stolen property.
Clarify the law allows police to combine value of multiple thefts to reach “grand theft” threshold.
Increase penalties for auto burglars in possession of stolen items stolen with intent to resell.
“These tools are what we need to, again, give us a greater ability to address those and hold them accountable who are doing this,” San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said.
Jenkins says these proposals speak to the changes in these types of crimes.
“We are no longer seeing ordinary shoplifting where someone takes one item and kind of walks out,” Jenkins said. “What we are seeing are people going in and taking massive amounts of goods in order to resell them.”
“He’s adding some tools in our toolbelt to address those types of crimes in a different way than sort of the ordinary shoplifting that we were once used to,” Jenkins added.
The governor is also proposing the legislature eliminate expiration of the organized retail crime statue which prosecutors say as become essential
“Essentially, it added a new crime for those who are working in consort–so, working together–to commit retail theft for the purpose of reselling the goods,” Jenkins said.
It is unknown if and when the legislature will act on the governor legislative package.

The Versatility and Efficiency of Hanging Scales: A Comprehensive Guide
Introduction
Hanging scales have long been a reliable tool for measuring weight, especially in situations where traditional floor scales aren’t practical. From markets and warehouses to fishing and industrial settings, hanging scales offer a unique combination of convenience, accuracy, and versatility. This article explores the features, benefits, and various applications of hanging scales, highlighting why they remain an essential tool across different industries.
What Are Hanging Scales?
Hanging scales are portable weighing devices designed to measure the weight of an object suspended from a hook. Unlike platform scales, where the item is placed on a flat surface, hanging scales work by attaching the item to a hook or clamp. The weight is then calculated based on the tension created by gravity, which is displayed digitally or via a dial.
Key Features of Hanging Scales Portability: Hanging scales are compact and lightweight, making them easy to transport and use in various locations, from outdoor markets to remote industrial sites. High Accuracy: Modern hanging scales are equipped with advanced sensors that provide precise measurements, even for irregularly shaped or unevenly distributed loads. Durability: Built to withstand heavy use, hanging scales are often made from robust materials like stainless steel, ensuring longevity and resistance to harsh environments. Versatile Applications: Hanging scales are used in a wide range of industries, including agriculture, fisheries, shipping, and retail. They are particularly useful in situations where space is limited or when weighing bulky or oversized items. Digital Advancements: Today’s hanging scales often feature digital displays, offering easy-to-read measurements. Many models also include additional functions like tare weight calculation, overload protection, and unit conversion. Conclusion: Hanging scales are an indispensable tool for many industries, offering a blend of precision, portability, and durability. Whether you’re weighing produce at a market, livestock on a farm, or heavy materials in an industrial setting, hanging scales provide a practical and reliable solution. As technology continues to advance, these scales have become even more versatile, meeting the demands of modern users while maintaining their core functionality.

SQUID INDUSTRIES NAUTILUS: AN IN-DEPTH REVIEW
This is what is hopefully the start of various different balisong reviews that I get my hands on as I progress through the hobby of balisong flipping. While my preferences won't speak for the balisong community at large, I hope to be as objective as I can while still offering my thoughts and opinions where they're appropriate.
Tonight's review will be on the balisong pictured above: the Squid Industries Nautilus. Without further ado, let's jump into it.
TL;DR: The Good: Light, grippy, and flowy flipper that provides a unique experience few other balisongs can replicate. Has a lifetime warranty where Squid will fix any repairs or QC issues. The Bad: How it flips is not for everyone. Plagued with QC issues which shouldn't happen at its price—buying one new is a gamble, and Squid isn't perfect with warranty repairs. (Fair warning: there is a lot of jargon that can sound like word soup to anyone who doesn't flip. I'll try to explain it as best as I can and make another post detailing what everything means)
UNBOXING AND GENERAL INFO:
The Nautilus has a fairly standard unboxing experience. It comes in a simple but nice drawer-style box inside of a cloth pouch, and with it comes a set of replacement hardware (not pictured), a paper card with QR codes that lead to flipping tutorials and tuning guides, and a sticker. Simple and nothing amazing, but well-executed. As for the price, it isn't exactly cheap. The retail price of the Nautilus varies depending on what versions you go for. On Squid's site, the base Nautilus goes for $230 USD, and it only gets more expensive from there. The Winter Nautilus with white G10 scales is priced at $245 USD. The Inked Nautilus, which has a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating on the blade, retails for $255 USD, while the Carbon Fiber Nautilus, which ditches G10 scales in favor of carbon fiber, retails for $295 USD.
Like all other Squid Industries balisongs, the Nautilus comes with a lifetime warranty—for something as minor as routine maintenance to something as major as bad quality control, it can be sent to Squid to fix whatever might be wrong with it. For the first 30 days, all the owner has to pay is for parts, and after that the owner has to pay for shipping and parts (although the latter might not apply in the case of QC issues).
DESIGN AND SPECS: Originally released on June 4, 2019, the Nautilus was released alongside the Krake Raken or Kraken, which I'll be using as a point of comparison for this design. Less experienced flippers often ask which of the two is "better", which is understandable given their similar prices, with the Kraken trainer starting at $215 USD, the Nautilus starting at $230 USD, and the Kraken live blade starting at $250 USD. However, as someone who owns both and flips both on a regular basis, they simply cannot be compared because of how different they are. The only thing the two have in common is the use of channel construction handles with 7075 aluminum as the handle material. Here are some photos with the two side-by-side: Below: Nautilus (black) and Kraken (purple)
The Kraken is overall beefier with full aluminum handles and a thicker everything, lending it to weigh a normal 4.2 oz. Everything on the Nautilus is smaller and thinner, from the the use of G10 laminate scales for grip to the small size of the channel to the thickness of the handles and blade, lending it to be much lighter at 3.6 oz. These design choices make for a unique flipping experience that I'll expand on later.
TUNING AND QUALITY CONTROL: This is going to be a doozy for a multitude of reasons, and things might get confusing, but I'll try my best to explain everything: The Nautilus runs on a bushing pivot system, which means that as long as the bushings aren't smaller than the blade, the pivot screws can be fully cranked down without them locking up. On top of this, when bushings are tuned correctly, tap (where the blade is touching the inside of the handles), blade rub, and handle play (side-to-side slop) can be fully eliminated for a solid and premium feeling flipping experience. On paper. The reality is that the inherent design of the Nautilus is a huge double-edged sword. Remember how I mentioned that everything on the Nautilus is pretty thin and small? That leaves a whole lot less room for error when tuning. Its use of G10 doesn't help much, either, as the scales have to be aligned as close to perfect as possible in order to have a good tune. Squid Industries has taken a bit of a dip in quality control as of late, but the Nautilus has always been their biggest sore spot for QC because of its design, which many can attest to. Juice Tin, who I talked to on a somewhat regular basis, has had a QC nightmare—their Nautilus had blade rub out of the box alongside G10 scales that were unfinished at best and outright deformed at worst, and tap persisted even after changing the scales and sending it in for warranty (both of our Nauts also happened to be QC'd by the same person, and I had issues as well). Yet another victim of the Naut's bad QC was CamaroEE, who held the Nautilus as one of his dream trainers at the time but was plagued with tap and blade rub that Squid couldn't fix when it was sent to them for warranty repairs, leading him to ultimately sell it and call it "the grayest balisong" in his review for it. I have also had QC issues on my end, albeit to not as much of an extent as others did. My Nautilus came straight out of the box with tap and blade rub, and it took an involved teardown and retuning that lasted over 2 hours to get the issue fixed. As of the time of writing this review, the tap is gone, and while it has a bit more play than I'm normally comfortable with, it's a lot better than before. Here's the thing: I love fixing and working on my own stuff, and I had no problems with fixing the issues my Nautilus had out of the box. The problem lies within the facts that: - I had to do it at all - I expected and prepared for it - I had heard about it from at least half the people I talked to who already owned one These would be at least somewhat excusable if the Nautilus was cheap, but with a starting price tag of $230 USD, I am giving Squid far less leeway here. Someone without the know-how, finally happy they have the money to buy something nice, could very easily buy this without doing the proper research, only to get slapped in the face with issues that many balisongs half its price don't have.
But because I'm no Negative Nancy, enough about my QC tirade. Because it flips very good. FLIPPING:
God damn, this is a fun flipper. The Nautilus has a heavy handle bias, meaning that if you were to balance it on your finger, the point of balance would be about halfway down the handles. Remember how I mentioned that it weighs 3.6 oz? For anyone not familiar with balisong flipping, that is absurdly light for a metal balisong since most balisongs on the market range from 4–4.5 oz, and it shows in how it behaves. The light weight and handle bias make for an almost floaty experience that's difficult to put into words. Rollovers and chaplins are very smooth and take no effort at all. The handle bias means that fans aren't nearly as good as it could be, but the balisong can absolutely still fan—choker fans and Z-chokers are easy to land, and ladders take much less finger strength than on most other balisongs. To top it all off, the G10 scales provide an absurd amount of grip, and I've yet to have it slip out of my hands during flipping. This sort of flipping experience tells me that the Nautilus was built with uncompromising pedal-to-the-medal flipping in mind, and with the people out there who flip the absolute balls off of it, I can't be completely wrong. With nearly everything being so effortless and smooth on the Nautilus, could it be the best flipper in its price range? Well, no. This hobby's so damn subjective that there really is no "best" balisong. The Nautilus has certain things about it that people could very easily dislike, the biggest of which is, funnily enough, the weight. As a small person with grubby little raccoon hands, the light weight and thin handles are perfect for me, but there are people out there who prefer heavier balisongs—one person I've talked to even likened it to a toy with how unsubstantial it felt in the hand for them. The other point of divide is the use of G10. The thing about G10 is that even when it's well-finished, it has a very chalky feel to it that most people don't like if it isn't given some oil (mink oil works great). Many times it can even feel a bit cheap even though it's quite the opposite, both to buy and to work with. Not to mention the balance; the handle bias on it is very noticeable, and there are plenty of people who don't like that much handle bias—hell, if it were heavier, I wouldn't have liked it as much. So, because of that, while it is my favorite balisong in my collection, it isn't a balisong that's as universally liked as much as something like a Kraken is. FINAL THOUGHTS: To close off, while plagued with hit-or-miss QC, the Squid Industries Nautilus is a light, flowy balisong trainer that offers a fun flipping experience that few other balisongs can offer. I want to recommend this balisong so badly because of how much fun I've had flipping it, but because Squid doesn't know how to QC them, I just can't unless you're not one to really care about tolerances. However, I do think you should at least give it a try because it is genuinely one of the most unique flipping experiences out here. If you're interested in buying a Nautilus, it can be found here.

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP AND PLATFORMISATION
Digital citizenship
This refers to people using technology and digital media in responsible and appropriate ways, especially in public areas, online communities, and social media (Choi, Glassman & Cristol 2017). It includes ideas like digital rights, privacy, cybersecurity, digital literacy, and online etiquette. The concept of "digital citizenship" highlights the significance of being a constructive and helpful member of the online community while also being conscious of the risks and repercussions of one's actions. It urges people to act responsibly when using the internet and to respect the rights and privacy of others as they would offline.
In light of current events, one example of the significance of digital citizenship is the rise in online harassment and cyberbullying. Cyberbullying has increased in frequency due to the growing use of social media and digital communication platforms. This has had detrimental effects, including mental health problems, social isolation, and extreme cases of self-harm or suicide. Many social media sites have responded to these problems by banning users from searching for certain racist, sexist, or destructive phrases in general. This is done to protect their impressionable, young audience.
Failure to abide by these digital citizenship guidelines may result in punishment from the platform the user is using (such as suspension or blocking from interacting), or, on a larger scale, leave a digital trail that could be linked to the individual in the event that they are the subject of necessary surveillance.
PLATFORMISATION
The process of converting conventional businesses or services into digital platforms that let people communicate with one another directly through networks or marketplaces mediated by technology is known as "platformization." Platformization has gained popularity in recent years as a result of the development of digital technology and the growing need for more practical and effective business methods. Successful platformization efforts include those found on sites like Upwork, which provides freelancing services, Shopee, which handles retail, and Uber, which handles transportation.
By facilitating more efficient and direct connections between buyers and sellers and eliminating the need for middlemen or intermediaries, platformization has the potential to upend established business structures (Fakieh & Happonen, 2023).
Platformization, however, also brings up questions regarding worker rights, data privacy, and competitiveness. It also may have a detrimental effect on established businesses and workers who stand to lose their jobs or become marginalised as a result of the growth of digital platforms. As a result, it's critical to weigh the possible advantages and disadvantages of platformization and to create legal and policy frameworks that uphold the rights of consumers, encourage fair competition, and assist platform economy workers.
Political engagement
It's a crucial component of digital citizenship since it gives people a platform to express their opinions on social and political concerns. People have greater opportunity to connect with like-minded people, engage with political content, and voice their thoughts because to the growing usage of digital technology and social media platforms.
Platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have become powerful tools for individuals to express their political views, engage in discussions and debates, and mobilize support for various causes or candidates. Digital citizenship in the political realm involves not only being informed about current events and issues but also actively participating in discussions, debates, and advocacy efforts online. (Theocharis et al. 2022)
In politics, digital citizenship also includes the need to have courteous and civil conversations, to verify information before sharing it, and to be aware of any biases and false information in online content (Igwebuike & Chimuanya 2020). Through digital activism and involvement, people can advocate for positive social change, hold elected officials accountable, and contribute to a more informed and inclusive public discussion by engaging in good digital citizenship in politics.

Kitchen Scales: Complete Buying Guide
Points to Consider while Buying a Kitchen Scale
Kitchen scales are used to weigh ingredients accurately so you won't have to guess what you're weighing. You can use them for cooking or baking ingredients to accurately measure the amount of food you need as per dietary requirements. Several European recipes call for the use of weighted ingredients. Kitchen scales are useful for every cook, no matter where they live.
Here are six tips that will make your task of finding the best kitchen scale according to your requirements much easier.
Tip 1: Digital vs. Analog
Scales for the kitchen come in two varieties. The weight is shown by a rotating pin on an analog scale. The inside spring of the scale acts as the resistance. The weight is displayed digitally on a digital readout on electronic or digital scales. Some models can also store data, which is an added capability. The maximum modern kitchen scales are digital. Usually, digital readouts display decimal values accurate to tenths of a unit.
Tip 2: Sensitivity and Capacity
When choosing a scale for the kitchen, you should consider which foods you will most likely weigh. For weighing light items such as herbs, spices, and nuts, especially sensitive scales are ideal. There are also scales that can handle up to 25 pounds of weight. Weights such as whole poultry and larger cuts of meat are appropriate for the latter scales.
Tip 3: Advanced Digital Features
If you have certain goals in mind, digital scales offer a wide range of features. In addition to switching between different units of measurement on the machine, it can handle pounds, ounces, grams, and kilograms. One helpful feature of a scale is its tare function, which shows only the weight of the contents when the container is neutralized. Additionally, some models come with baker's timers and clocks.
You can also select a scale that will report the calories in different foods. Models like these let you enter your own food items and recipes, and some come with calorie-tracking memory features.
Tip 4: Container and Platform
The size of platforms varies. When you're shopping for a scale, it is often best to get one with a large platform so that you can weigh a wide variety of foods. In addition to having a scale with a container that holds the food for weighing, you should also choose one with a container that holds the wet or dry ingredients. The container should be removable for easy cleaning. A measuring bowl attachment is included with some models, which facilitates the measurement of ingredients.
Tip 5: Clear Display
There are different types of digital displays. Some models have small displays that are hard to read, so make sure you test each model and choose one with a large display. Make sure the display doesn't get obscured by the items you are weighing when you cover the scale. Pull-out displays are available on some scales to facilitate reading.
Tip 6: Design and Ease of Storage
Choosing a scale that fits well and adds to the look of your kitchen is extremely important if you store it on your counter. Stainless steel is available in many styles, which will give your kitchen a sleek look. You can now choose a model that matches your dietary needs and improves your cooking experience after comparing all the differences between kitchen scales.

Spice and Wolf: Anniversary Collector's Edition
Yeah, not something you see every day, and not really something you'll see or hear discussed in the manga/LN community, oddly enough. But it exists. A medieval-inspired omnibus of the "original" 17 volumes of the Spice and Wolf light novel, and places them in a stunning package. So, lots to show off, lots to explain!
Though to cut a long story short: It's an incredible volume that continues to prove that Yen Press stands at the top of quality releases like this within the bigger players in the industry, and that people should 100% be buying up A Certain Magical Index's Old Testament Omnibus edition so that we can continue to get more of this incredible format.
For the uninitiated, Spice and Wolf originally finished at 17 volumes in July of 2011. The story was meant to be ended at that point in time, but 5 years down the road in 2016, Spice and Wolf started up again, as well as a sequel story Wolf and Parchment. From there, it's continued onwards with both series to a total of 24 volumes in the main line, and 7 volumes in the sequel series.
This leaves Yen Press in a sort of odd predicament. The story's continued, and there's no known ending point in sight. Another decade of Spice and Wolf is fast approaching though. So part of me wonders, are they going to do another anniversary collection with what they have available in 3 years time? Or will they wait until they have a similar volume count to this first anniversary edition?
Regardless, about the edition itself. Like I had said, it's an anniversary edition for the light novel, celebrating a decade of Spice and Wolf. It's original retail run was all the way back in 2017. However, Yen Press "recently" (in 2021) had a limited reprint they ran through their website directly. I didn't purchase from it (I got an original print online), but it's safe to say it was a rather limited run. In addition to that limit, it's also a "different" trim (lots of quotations, I know). The reprint ran solely through Yen Press' website is a numbered edition, while the original print run is just a regular version.
Alright, history out of the way! This thing is massive, the photo (which I'll add below once more for reference) doesn't really capture the sheer scale of this thing. It weighs 3kg alone, and even though the pages are condensed, it totals at about 950 of them. It's also approximately a foot (or just shy) tall, and nearly 2.5 inches thick. That number doesn't really sound that big, but lets compare to something like Choujin X.
Choujin X stands at about 0.7 inches thick, which is less than a third of the thickness of this omnibus. Still, not too bad for 1 volume versus 17. But what I'm neglecting to say, is that all the pages here are doubled up (aside from illustrations). Anywhere that there's text in this monster of a book, there's two columns of it. So, you could cheat and say there's about 1700 pages of content in 2.5 inches of thickness.
But at the end of the day, the scale of this book is hilarious. It measures in at 9.25" wide, 2.5" deep, and 11.13" tall. Choujin X on the other hand is a measly 5.75" wide, 0.7" deep, and 8.25" tall. It's nearly 8 times the volume of Choujin X. For reference, Choujin X to a regular Viz size manga only has a difference of about 3 cubic inches. So yeah, world of difference.
Anyways, the quality of this book is as outstanding as you'd expect. The cover has a super nice feel and finish to it, and is very sturdy. Despite the sheer size of it, the spine doesn't really shift around too much when flipping pages or trying to twist the book, and the binding is really impressive. Given the scale of the book, it can be a challenge to have it be so loose, without worrying about overall integrity while reading, but Yen Press has nailed it here. They continually prove that they are the kings of high end releases within the industry.
And here's just a quick look at the spine for the book. It's pretty standard and fits well with the overall design of the covers. Nothing to write home about, but also nothing to complain about.
Now, for the interior. The paper is super nice and smooth, and there's not really any bleed through or anything, even with illustrations and color pages. Though, if you hold it up at the right angle to the right kind of light you'll see that bleed through happen, it's just that in practice it's not something you'll ever notice given how you read this monster.
What I find sort of interesting is how the color pages actually end up separating into volumes and chapters quite well for the book. Even if there wasn't the included bookmark/whatever those threads are called, you'd be able to skim and find your place rather quickly.
So I'll just finish this oddly long post off with extra images of how the book looks inside.
Essentially, it's just super cool. There's an insane amount of words on each page, but it's not really overwhelming or anything because it's well formatted. The font isn't anything special, but I like the color of the text since it ties in with the overall design.
At the end of it all, this book absolutely is worth the money, and I really hope that Yen Press reprints it. In the same breath, people should 100% be getting prepared to purchase A Certain Magical Index's omnibus version of this. It's well worth the money as a book, and it presents a far easier method of purchasing the series considering some volumes of the original run are out of print. As well as that, it's cheaper than buying the singles. It's a win across the board. So for those that can afford it, I highly, highly recommend it, so that consumers can prove to Yen Press that quality releases like this sell well and should be explored for other series.

Top 10 Email Marketing Strategies for 2024
Email marketing continues to be one of the most effective tools for connecting with your audience and driving conversions. In 2024, with technological advancements and shifting consumer expectations, it’s crucial to adapt your approach to stay competitive. Here are the top 10 email marketing strategies to keep in mind this year.
Hyper-Personalization Today, personalization goes beyond using a recipient’s name. Hyper-personalization involves tailoring emails based on user behavior, preferences, and demographics. Using data analytics, marketers can create highly targeted messages that speak directly to each segment of their audience. Consider tailoring product recommendations or content based on past interactions for a more personal touch.
Automated Email Sequences Automation is key to ensuring timely and consistent communication. Automated sequences allow marketers to send a series of emails triggered by specific actions, such as signing up for a newsletter, abandoning a cart, or downloading an eBook. These sequences help nurture leads and guide them through the customer journey without requiring constant oversight.
Interactive Email Content Interactive elements, such as surveys, polls, and clickable images, increase engagement by encouraging recipients to actively participate. In 2024, use interactive features to make your emails more dynamic and memorable. Interactive content captures attention, increases click-through rates, and provides valuable feedback on customer preferences.
User-Generated Content Trust in brands is increasingly influenced by customer reviews and recommendations. Consider including user-generated content (UGC), such as customer testimonials, reviews, or social media posts, in your emails. UGC adds authenticity to your message, making it more relatable and trustworthy.
Mobile-First Design With the majority of emails opened on mobile devices, ensuring your emails are optimized for mobile is essential. In 2024, mobile-first design means simplifying layout, using larger fonts, and creating concise, scrollable content. Make sure your CTA buttons are easily clickable on smaller screens to maximize conversions.
AI-Powered Recommendations AI is revolutionizing how brands interact with customers, and email marketing is no exception. AI-powered tools can analyze data to predict customer needs and suggest relevant products or content. By using AI-driven recommendations, you can deliver highly relevant messages that resonate with each recipient, leading to increased engagement and conversions.
Dynamic Content Blocks Dynamic content allows you to display different content within the same email based on the recipient's profile. For example, a clothing retailer could display women’s clothing to female subscribers and men’s clothing to male subscribers. Dynamic content makes it easy to personalize at scale, ensuring each email feels tailored to the reader.
Emphasis on Privacy and Data Protection With increasing concerns about privacy, transparent data practices are essential. Make it clear how subscribers' data is used, and consider offering preference centers where they can select the types of content they want to receive. Respecting privacy builds trust and reduces unsubscribe rates, helping you maintain a loyal audience.
Re-Engagement Campaigns Inactive subscribers can weigh down your list and reduce deliverability. Re-engagement campaigns help identify and reconnect with subscribers who haven’t interacted in a while. Offer special deals or simply ask if they still wish to stay subscribed. Re-engagement efforts can re-ignite interest or clean up your list by removing disengaged contacts.
Video Content in Emails Video is one of the most engaging forms of content, and including it in emails is a powerful way to capture attention. While embedding videos can sometimes present technical challenges, adding video thumbnails linked to a landing page or using animated GIFs as a preview can boost engagement and give subscribers a taste of what you’re offering.
Implementing these strategies will help businesses stay at the forefront of email marketing in 2024. By combining personalization, automation, and a strong focus on user experience, organizations can connect more effectively with their audience and achieve better results. Remember, the key to successful email marketing is continuously testing and optimizing approach to find what resonates best with your business audience.
There are many email marketing service providers, however, it is worth noting the email marketing service provided by Dove Soft. The company is known for its email marketing expertise & professional service levels.

Almost in the $100 club ( a body weight that starts with a 1 instead of a 2)
My scale this morning said I weigh 200lbs and 8 oz. Down from 260 lb from September of last year. I believe there has been some muscle gain as well so the fat loss is actually more than 60 lbs. Since I started with a Ketogenic diet back in 2016 the transition from Keto to carnivore has been without any issues. I was in the $100 club back in 2018, but depression and subsequent job loss made it hard to stay the course and then COVID came along and while I was glad not to be working in retail, being self employed was a lot more sedentary and and slowly re-gained about half of what I lost. I became carnivore because I got tired of trying to make Keto mock foods and was never going back to anything else, and after being Keto for so long the urge to have illicit foods just seem to die within me. What seems to work for me has been some protein and fat in the morning with my buttered coffee and I’m good to go till late in the afternoon when I have my main meal in a eating window from about five to eight o’clock. I start every day with a standing stretching exercise routine that takes about 45 minutes to an hour to do and I have regained a lot of lost flexibility as well as some muscle gain. I think I’m now ready to add some floor exercises to my standing exercises because while standing exercises are great for your legs and lower body, they do little for your upper body. I would like to drop at least 10 more lbs of fat by years in and gain a lb or two of muscle. But it doesn’t come easy when your 66 years old.
