I've spent a few months (on and off) creating a Faceclaim for my rpg avatars. I'm adding to it as I go through my archives, but for now, I've cataloged around 250 faces. Grounding Methods

Aroma therapy, for this you can use various means. For example an aroma diffuser, some essential oil and water. Theres pretty cheap aroma diffuser options available.

Sucking on an icecube, or chili flavoured candy (which can be bought online) that is sharp enough to burn a little on the tongue, or very sour candy, or sucking on an lemon, or a sharp mint.

Carefully and mindfully drinking a tea of your choice, preferably one of your favourites, and really focusing intently on every sip you take, doing it very slowly and focused.

Engaging your senses physically to bring you back, like rolling a hedgehogball over your arms, legs, and wherever else you feel comfortable with. Rubbing massage oil onto parts of your body and gently massaging it in.

Splashing cold water in your face, or even taking a cold shower, can sometimes "restart" your nervous system and normalise how you feel, but you to experiment on some one, as it depends on the person.

Baking bread. Having to knead the dough very very throughly by hand, for multiple minutes long can be very therapeutic and grounding.

Painting on your skin with body paint, creating small pieces of colorful art on your skin. The sensation of cold paint on your skin, and having to focus on painting can be grounding.

Walking barefoot onto a patch of grass, literally, grounding yourself with your feet into the grass.

The 5-3-2-1 Method, count 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can feel, 2 things you can smell, and one 1 thing you can taste. Repeat however much you need to.

It's not perfect and it seems to follow the U.S understanding of left wing vs right wing politics: for example Buzzfeed is obviously a liberal website and liberalism is right wing to us europeans but to a U.S american it's leftist, same with PinkNews. So most of those rated "L" would probably be rated "C" to the rest of the world. Them being rated as leftists means they are more likely to support social movements such as abortion rights, anti-racism, same-sex marriage, ecology etc while still promoting some form of capitalism. If you check the website there's a search bar and you can also click on "agree/disagree" to give feedbacks on their ratings.
