Paarthurnax, the Idea vs. Paarthurnax, the Man

I decided to alter the pitch of some of Paarthurnax's lines to determine how much Charles Martinet's voice was altered in post, and I've come to the conclusion that it was in fact deepened by about 2.3 semitones. I could be a little off, but this sounds about right to me. Here are his lines for the Blades quest:

If you compare these lines to Martinet's role as Lagerfeld from the RPG Resonance of Fate, which came out just a year before Skyrim, it's a dead-ringer.

I made this post because people seem to genuinely think that Martinet's voice can go as low as it's heard in-game, and I wanted to dispel that notion. Regardless, the acting performance still comes through, and the editing was simply to make him sound more like a big dragon; if anything, it's actually cool to hear his real voice as this beloved character.

It's time for the video I was waiting to make since the Astral one, it's Watanabe Epitaph to the tune of the final boss music from Resonance of Fate (or End of Eternity if you're from JP). He's actually really fun to juggle with, but optimally you'd want to be in his other mode as much as possible.
