Prayer

Praise You Lord God!

May the whole earth declare Your praise (Psalms 47:7)!

Heavenly Father, look upon our nation.

Bless our nation.

Intervene in our nation’s circumstances.

Deliver us from evil. Neutralize and subdue the spiritual forces inciting deception and evil of every kind. You are the Almighty. Based on Your Word, we have full assurance that You can, and shall, rid our nation of such grotesque and demonic activity.

We ask You to oppose, disrupt, and defeat the human devils of this age; the physical minions who idolize the spiritual forces of evil.

Oh God, curse those who curse Your people (Genesis 12:3)!

Lord, humbly we come before the court of heaven (Daniel 7:10), before You, the One and Only Judge. Before You we bring complaints against the felons and traitors and demons who are intentionally destroying our nation and with it the entire world. Does their sin know any limit? Oh God, You alone know.

In James 4:7, we are given a clear directive: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (KJV). This verse highlights the spiritual battle that every believer faces and offers a powerful strategy for overcoming temptation.

The first step is submission to God. Before we can resist the devil, we must place ourselves under the authority of God. This means surrendering our desires, plans, and ambitions to His will, trusting that His ways are higher than our own.

Resisting the devil requires vigilance. The devil seeks to tempt us through pride, selfishness, and worldly desires. But when we submit to God, we are equipped with the spiritual armor to stand firm against these attacks. By aligning our will with God’s and seeking His strength, we can overcome the enemy’s schemes.

The promise in James 4:7 is clear: when we resist the devil, he will flee. This does not mean we will never face temptation again, but it assures us that, with God’s help, we have the power to overcome.
