I feel like every time someone points out that Biden is supporting genocide, someone else comes out of the woodwork to say “ummm so you think Trump wouldn’t??” like, true, but that’s not the point being brought up?? No one here is saying “Biden is supporting genocide so vote Trump instead!”
We should be able to criticize the corrupt actions of our president without the topic immediately being changed to “well the OTHER guy wouldn’t do much better”
#squid speaks#I’m sure I’m somewhat falling victim to confirmation bias#but I’ve seen this happen enough times that it’s noticeable#it’s also just kinda self centered#to turn a valid concern that affects hundreds of thousands of people#who are being killed#to well this is how it would negatively effect me as an American#and I get it#I’m trans and terrified of what a repulic President would do to effect minorities#but that’s a different conversation

Went to the library today in hopes of finding the high republic comics bc Hoopla doesn't let me screenshoot, but no luck for physicals :(
#i might start a marvel unlimited subscription just to be able to make posts of those comics#bc i did start reading the first high repulic (2021) line and there was a moment in the very start#that i wanted to talk about bc i dont lightsabers should work in the maniever that was pulled off in that panel#but what do i know about lightsabers in the high republic era 🤷♀️

Shout out to me for going against my word and downloading Technoroid Unison Heart before Technoroid Overmind ended, getting Bora on my first pull and accidentally losing him because I confused the reroll button for the confirm button
