Lambda would absolutely invite Master Kohga to a tea party with her family.
Raithyon would absolutely agree that this is a good idea.
Reownha would absolutely go along with it.
Meanwhile the other two who aren't muses are more hesitant, much more in Sekkala's case, but they've been outvoted.

ALTERNATE MUSE VERSE: CHAMPION OF SHADOWS
(Here comes a shitload of lore and stuff I MADE UP. Very non-canon. But since when do I give a shit for canon?)
In the darkness of the ruins of Thyphlo, there slumbered a fifth divine beast. It was no easy task to unearth, and some time after this monsters crept into the darkness and drove the Hyruleans out. The abilities of this divine beast remain largely unknown, though it was restored to functionality before the monsters forced the researchers to abandon it. Bearing the shape of a feline, it was called Vah Pazim.
When King Rhoam lamented Hyrule's plight and sought champions to pilot the five divine beasts, he could not find anyone suitable for Vah Pazim. Although Impa of the Shiekah appeared somewhat suitable as a champion, she was ever busy with her work as an aide to Princess Zelda.
After King Rhoam had succeeded in finding pilots for Vah Ruta, Vah Rudania, Vah Medoh, and Vah Naboris, a fifth champion stepped forth to pilot Vah Pazim.
A clan of Shiekah outlaws and rogues known as the Blackscales saw the nearby Deplian badlands as their ancestral home. They knew of Vah Pazim, and plotted their way back into society. Though they had not taken a side with the monsters, these outlaws were nonetheless wanted for various crimes across Hyrule, individually and as an organization. Their leader, Raithyon Blackscale, brandished an idea that would tilt the war in his family's favor.
King Rhoam received a report of a small but unknown force making their way to Vah Pazim– a force consisting not of monsters, but people. He commanded the four champions already assembled, along with Princess Zelda and the swordsman Link, to investigate and stop this force if necessary.
Fighting the monsters surrounding the divine beast was difficult as they were many in number, but the princess's force stopped upon reaching the Thyphlo ruins. Utter and complete darkness barred their progress– the soldier who could fight without seeing was rare indeed. But it was not the threat of fighting blindly alone that halted their progress, but the sounds of movement from Divine Beast Vah Pazim.
Vah Pazim moved quickly to destroy the monster encampments in the dark ruins, controlled by some expert hand. Even monsters such as Gleeoks were as though child's play to the Divine Beast, swatted out of the sky with nimble movement and destroyed by shadowy energy. After all the monsters were felled, the Divine Beast approached Zelda's group, but stopped even as her force grimly made ready to battle it. One individual stepped into view atop what one might have called Vah Pazim's head.
Raithyon Blackscale wore a long sable robe over an otherwise bare chest, a violet mask over his mouth, and traditional Shiekah stealth garb in violet for leggings. His white hair remained bound in a low ponytail, and his red eyes stared down at Zelda's group not with malice, but confidence that the upper hand was his.
After this appearance, others came out of hiding as well, at what might be termed Vah Pazim's feet. These were the rest of the Blackscale clan, garbed largely in stealth wear of their own personal styles– those whom Raithyon called family, if not all by blood. Though each one carried their own weapons of choice, not one brandished any to fight.
Raithyon's skills in vertical movement became clear as he slid down Vah Pazim to join his clan and lead their forward motion to Zelda's group. Though the two blades on either hip swung with each of his steps, he did not lay a hand on either sword's hilt. At this, Zelda commanded her forces to stand down for the moment, knowing a gesture to negotiate when she saw one.
"Ah, the princess herself," Raithyon spoke, his confidence palpable in his voice. "Just whom I was looking for. Perhaps we can parley. On equal footing, of course." He rested an arm atop a sword hilt and tilted his head up, though his eyes remained fixed on her.
The entire ploy became clear to Zelda at once. This outlaw had seized control of Vah Pazim and demonstrated skill in piloting it for one purpose– to gain a foothold, and a good one at that, in negotiation for pardons for he and his clan. The princess could not deny that this man had something Hyrule required for its own salvation; Vah Pazim had no suitable pilot until this man's ploy came into play.
The man approached farther still, offering the hand not resting on a sword hilt to Zelda. "Raithyon Blackscale, and I'm sure you see my family behind me... my sister Sekkala, and my daughters Lambda and Reownha." Behind him in the group, a woman of similar age to him pressed a hand to her forehead while two teenager girls waved; one with white Shiekah hair and the other of honeyed blonde Hylian hair. "Brilliant work, wasn't it? Not to brag too hard, but I don't think you'll find someone else who can do what I just did to those monsters with Vah Pazim too easily."
It was no situation Zelda enjoyed, to be sure; to know that the most suitable pilot for this or any divine beast was an outlaw was unsettling. This maverick of a swashbuckler would be difficult to control, even knowing what it was that he wished in exchange for his services. There was not much she could do. Knowing this, Zelda still took Raithyon's proffered hand and shook it, knowing better than to neglect manners for her discomfort. "You know that I am Zelda, daughter of King Rhoam of Hyrule. If you wish to negotiate, then it must be with my father. I can escort you to Hyrule Castle to parley and vouch that you will not be harmed or arrested in doing this." Best to place the ball in her father's court, Zelda suspected, as she herself did not have the power to pardon a single outlaw, much less an entire group of them.
It was nonetheless a risky move to make, for the both of them; Raithyon had every reason to distrust the princess's word for their safety, but it played into his confidence that he had the upper hand in this. Raithyon's smile widened. "Agreed, princess. I'll come to Hyrule Castle with you–"
"And we'll come with!" Interjected the blonde Lambda, pulling her sister with her as she jumped forth. "Pops, you can't just go without me and Reownha, you need backup!"
Raithyon did well in concealing his chagrin at this decision; he had wanted to go alone, that the rest of his family might be safe from whatever treachery could be in store, but he could not backpedal now. His smile did not fade, his posture did not change; he even nodded in agreement. "I can hardly say no to my little girls. I hope your castle can accommodate a pair of extra guests, Princess Zelda."
So it was. Zelda's force escorted these three Blackscales, the rest remaining behind in relative safety should the negotiations go ill. Reownha largely kept to herself, observing without comment; Raithyon attempted conversation with the champions Urbosa and Daruk; Lambda succeeded in speaking with Mipha and connecting over the ability to heal wounds. No monsters attacked further on the way from the Thyphlo ruins to Hyrule Castle, to the relief of all, making for a quiet march, almost uncomfortably so.
In the sanctum of Hyrule Castle, King Rhoam stood before his throne to better observe the three Blackscales presented to him– Raithyon, all but lounging in his stance and regarding the king confidently; Reownha, standing straight but staring steadily at him; and Lambda, looking about with the wonder of seeing such grandeur. Though the guards of the room remained wary at the presence of these outlaws, they did not come close to them.
It was not difficult for Rhoam to figure what had occurred in the Thyphlo ruins and why Raithyon was brought before him. Zelda's report told him much, leaving one thing to learn: the true measure of the Blackscales before him.
Rhoam measured the amount of disrespect in his tone with the smallest of instruments; though he felt no admiration for the man, he did not wish to alienate he or his clan, nor any of the Shiekah that Rhoam had so carefully rebuilt bridges with after they were razed ten thousand years ago. "Raithyon Blackscale. Your actions are beyond the pale. Your trespasses of Hyrulean law cannot be ignored so easily."
Though the gravity of the situation was not lost on Raithyon, boldness remained in his tone. "Can they, if we have something substantial to offer to the effort against the Calamity?" He pointed at the king, daring to toe the lines of respect and diplomacy. "You need a pilot for Vah Pazim. I'm not the obedient puppet that you might have wished for, but I'm beyond qualified." He lowered his arm then, and gestured to his daughters, standing at his sides. "Even those of us who live outside the law will fall if the Calamity isn't quelled– and I knew I had no chance of parley with you unless I did something. Just think: If I work with you, my family will as well– an entire clan of experienced rogues at your disposal. Even my daughters are very skilled for their youth."
Rhoam's gaze moved from Raithyon, to the observant (if mistrustful) Reownha, then to Lambda, whose gaze wandered with wonder. Deciding it best to address she who was not on guard, he spoke again. "Lambda, daughter of the Blackscales. Do you hold your father's word as true and trustworthy?"
From the very moment her name was spoken by such an unfamiliar (but highly authoritative) voice, Lambda jumped and turned her entire body to regard the king, her eyebrows raised and eyes wide with surprise. She spoke quickly and bluntly, no thought or filter. "Pops doesn't lie and neither do I! We're all very sneaky-like, but we don't break our promises." Lambda even smiled at the king, a smile speaking of deep affection for her father that mildly surprised Rhoam, behind his royal facade.
He did not like being surprised, nor did he did not like the options before him– to arrest Raithyon and his daughters (risking the carefully restored balance between Hyrule and the Shiekah) or to allow this outlaw– whom Rhoam was not sure how to control– to pilot the divine beast, Vah Pazim. Glancing back at Raithyon, Rhoam could see a mote of pride hidden in his gaze, now directed at Lambda. Pride in his daughter.
Rhoam could not help but think of Zelda and the pressures upon her shoulders.
He made his decision then. "Very well, Raithyon of the Blackscale." Raithyon's eyes flicked back to the king, showing him his full attention. "You shall be the pilot of divine beast Vah Pazim. But know that should you and your family turn against Hyrule, each who raises a blade against the kingdom shall be condemned."
"But if we don't..." A smirk tugged at the corner of Raithyon's mouth, unbidden.
"Then, should you and your clan prove that you can live and lawful citizens of the kingdom, I will consider your pardons." Rhoam did not enjoy this part of the agreement; it would spread the concept that any lawless rogue could win their freedom with enough audacity. However, he had to offer it– Hyrule could ill afford to pick and choose who fought in the name of its salvation.
"I'll sign that contract," Raithyon agreed.

Have you ever caught a Sunset Firefly?
(Long post; responses are from Lambda and Reownha; Armok; Felicity, Fennec, and Noel; Gwyn, Raven, and Link; Wulf and Lita; Zehka and Delphine.)
Lambda smiled and giggled at that. "Yeah, they're fun to play with and chase. Sometimes they even draw lines in the air! I like using my magic to make them glow brighter, too." Reownha looked at her sister and harrumphed, just so slightly. "She has an unfair advantage on catching them: She can summon this magic hand to grab them for her. I'd try it myself if I knew anything about magic, but unfortunately Lambda's not the best teacher and none of our family can really instruct us either. Furrele doesn't know that spell at all, and Quespa's magic is very confusing." More giggles from Lambda at this. "But I've caught a few myself, even if my sister's better at it; I'm quite stealthy when I want to be."
Armok shrugged. "I've caught a few in my mouth in my dragon form. They don't taste so good, nor did they make me more stealthy. I guess you have to cook them into an elixir to get that effect. But with my hands?" He held up his gloved hands. "No, they're too good at flying away. But as a dragon, as long as I don't move, most creatures don't seem to realize I'm not a statue." He snorted with amusement. "... Fucking pigeons and their habit of crapping on me."
"They're handy for the sneaky elixirs, so I'm always trying to catch them," Felicity explained, "but my brother's better at it. As if he needs them. It's as if sneaky elixir runs in his veins instead of blood. Well, the rest of us need to prepare a bit more." Fennec shrugged at his sister. "It's not my fault. Maybe I inherited some kind of magic from Mother. Who knows." "Who knows indeed," Noel sighed. "Fennec is simply the best at foraging despite the rest of the family's efforts; I've got some skill in catching fireflies myself thanks to my magic, but when most animals simply don't perceive him for some mystifying reason, it's difficult to compete."
"I don't tend to catch them myself, but I once often needed them for elixirs," Gwyn reminisced. "My son likes to catch them these days. I taught him quite a bit about cooking, both for food and potions. It's always gratifying to see that he enjoys it all– the capturing, the cooking, and the eating." "He's an abyss for a stomach," Raven chuckled, "and although we've never needed to forage for ingredients, he does enjoy doing so, just to show what his mother's taught him, and to see what she can teach him to cook. I've never caught any fireflies, but Link always loved chasing them when he was small, and now that he's learned, he's quite good at catching them." Hearing his parents gush their love for him, Link was strangely nowhere to be found...
"Fireflies?" Wulf blinked. "Oh yeah. I've caught loads. My sister may not be the best cook, but she's always asking me to help grab things like bugs so she can cook up elixirs. I like catching beetles most, but fireflies are pretty special... They're not magical, but their glow makes 'em feel like they are." "Strictly speaking," Lita explained further, "I prefer when my brother can catch beetles, to speak of insects. But vegetables and mushrooms are always preferred over the bugs. Elixirs are very useful when you can simply drink them and go, but we both eat a great deal of food."
"I don't really catch them," Zehka explained. "I just dance with them. They're so pretty! And my friend Delphine doesn't try to catch them either, she just watches. Except... they are kind of tasty. So I do eat a few. She's not so happy when I do that." "It's disgusting, Zehka," Delphine sighed.

Back to Blackscale thought pot hours– in Age of Calamity, the Blackscales are absolutely working with the Hyrulean crown. They join much earlier than the Yiga Clan, but not too long before the Calamity revives, I imagine. I need to replay the game, though.
They're much more loyal to Zelda and her sincerity than Rhoam, even though Rhoam ended the Shiekah oppression. Honestly, though, it's mostly because Lambda feels a strange kinship with Zelda and wants to be her friend, and Raithyon tends to be a sucker for his kids. Not to mention Reownha likewise tends to follow Lambda because she idolizes her sister, so Lambda ends up forming a lot of the Blackscales' opinions on various faction leaders.
Is this an excuse for the Blackscales to interact with the Yiga in AoC verses? YES IT IS!

All of the Blackscales have a piece of Sirredes as proof of their membership, and all have a black dragon tattoo somewhere on their bodies as proof of their identities. Here's who has what and where:
Raithyon: Shard of horn. Two dragon tattoos, curled up either arm.
Reownha: Scale. Her dragon tattoo coils up her entire left arm.
Lambda: Fang. Her dragon tattoo coils up her entire right arm.
Sekkala: Shard of spike. Her dragon tattoo is on her back, wings splayed on her shoulder blades.
Madre: Claw. Her dragon tattoo is small but wide, placed just below her collarbone.
Riakshin: Fang. His tattoo is on his right shoulder– his sword shoulder.
Moko: Scale. His dragon tattoo coils around his left wrist, with the head resting on the back of the hand.
Horzai: Scale. Her dragon tattoo is on the left side of her neck, its head rearing up onto her cheek.
Nethox: Scale. His dragon tattoo coils on his ankle.
Quespa: Shard of spike. Her dragon tattoo is on her forehead.
Nethir: Scale. His dragon tattoo rests above his collarbone, stretching up the front of his neck.
Furrele: Scale. Her dragon tattoo coils about her right ear.
Cedric: Claw. His dragon tattoo is on his left shoulder.

Some updoodled heroforges.
Delphine just got a couple things removed from her model. Also some smaller updates along the way, like black hair instead of blue. Halcyon got a rondel dagger in her left hand, and I adjusted her pose a bit, including having her point her sword, which is now a naval saber. Lambda saw a huge overhaul to match her D&Dverse overhaul. Reownha saw a similar overhaul to mirror Lambda's new model, as she so loves to mimick her older sister. Also changed her pose to sneaking. Zehka saw a huge overhaul, mostly his wardrobe and pose.

I just finished my usual wednesday game but before that started I was working on adjusting a couple of heroforge models...
.... which are d&dverse and not zeldaverse, but i'm posting them anyways. Lambda and her sister Reownha!
Left is old, right is new.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
First off: Yes, Lambda's adopted, remember? She's a high elf while Reownha's a black chromatic dragonborn. Lambda has a bit of an out-there sense of fashion for her family, and Reownha idolizes her (despite being SO MUCH SMARTER than her) so Reownha copies her in a lot of ways because they're both kids.
I had Lambda sheathe her dagger (I swapped out the model while I was at it because heroforge only has 3 or 4 sheathed dagger models) and gave her different gloves, these being half-fingered. I dropped her satchel so her hand could be at her hip and look good doing so, swapped her boots for something cooler, and removed the bags of gold coins at her feet. I ALSO tilted her ears a bit so they're more visible in that great big mane of hair! I wanted to give her a shorter hairstyle but none of them are anywhere near as fluffy, so that didn't work. In adjusting her hair, I also had to update the old head editor (yeah her model is old old old), so I had to entirely redo her expression. I also removed her choker necklace for her scarf– she likes the scarf billowing in the wind, as cool as bling is. I also gave her earrings because she didn't have earrings before, probably because they got swallowed up in that fluffy mane of hair.
Reownha got a similar necklace-to-scarf update, I also rotated and adjusted her horns to be smoother along her head. New gloves to match Lambda's, changed the pose entirely from Relaxed to Notorious Spy and changed what the arm holding the crowbar was doing (because it originally kinda mirrored the sword arm and that felt too redundant, so yeah.) Also changed the metal color on the crowbar because Iron was way too dark; The Gray That Never Comes worked better. Also swapped out some of the gold in her scales for black, since she has only a smidgeon of gold metallic blood in her rather than being like, half or something as all that gold indicated. Re-angled the sheath of her sword on her hip to look better and not stick out as far, and then I actually gave her an expression and a roguish smirk, along with eyes that look at the viewer (her model also required an update to the face editor). Oh, and I fiddled with the tail a lot (serious 15 places to bend in the whole thing WHAT THE FUCK THAT'S A LOT) to give it a more fun pose than just curling directly behind her like the original pose would have done– I wanted it to be visible. A feature to show off, not a bug to hide. Also adjusted the angles on the cape and her hair a bunch.

So here we go, apparently I never wrote out, into one whole post, the details on Lambda's bloodline and why she has light magic/sealing power. Links to relevant headcanons at the bottom below the readmore. This is a whole post where I retell all the details relevant to Lambda and her bloodline.
Once upon a time, two generations before the awakening of the Calamity, Hyrule had a pair of princesses named Enid and Bridget. Of the two, Enid was the elder, and thus the heir to Hyrule's throne. She was also far more potent with the magics inherent to the royal family's blood, able to harness it and wield it as she needed. Bridget's power was far subtler, one might say weaker– though she could see and interact with fey such as Koroks, she was not nearly as able with her power as Enid.
Enid had a trait that could be termed a weakness, as it led to her untimely demise. She was a spitfire soul who believed in personal freedom, and she despised the gilded cage which was Hyrule Castle. When she was betrothed to Lord Uther, a powerful and wealthy noble, she reacted with outrage, and plotted her vengeance that would grant her the freedom she craved at a terrible price. It was simple enough: She fled the castle, and began a new life underground. It was relatively successful. Her skills in politics and stoic expression made it so she could easily win games of chance and take home more than enough rupees to feed herself, and she won herself a beloved whom she married and bore a child with.
It was a few years later that an assassin found and caught up with her, and killed her. What happened to her husband is not known, but her body was first discovered by her young daughter, who fled and was later cursed to forget her earliest years– including this nightmarish memory of her mother's body. This daughter grew up a criminal in the underground herself, skilled in larcenous arts via magic– magic she harnessed through that same sacred blood on her veins. Naivara Scathaith, as she called herself, was not necessarily an infamous name herself, but she worked with some.
In her mid twenties, Naivara worked a heist on a noble's manor alongside some other thieves, thieves who turned out to be less than trustworthy. When the job went south, Naivara was left behind, honor among thieves nonexistent. She was captured by the manor guards and brought before Lord Sheezrar Faenorin. Sheezrar bore Shiekah blood, and though in this time, the persecution against the Shiekah people had since been ended by King Rhoam, Sheezrar knew suffering and mistrust. He also bore strange abilities: To connect with the minds of others and speak with them silently, without uttering words aloud. He saw something broken within Naivara and chose to speak with her using this intimate connection. What was said or expressed is not known, but he ultimately took pity on her and said that she could live in his manor, safe and fed, so long as she did not attack or steal from others, and he would seek her pardon. Naivara accepted– motivated for want of a stable life.
In time, Naivara earned her pardon by aiding Lord Sheezrar in a number of ways. Her expertise as a thief came in useful for him, bringing an understanding of the criminal underground he might have otherwise missed. She indeed earned a pardon for past crimes from King Rhoam and did not squander it– indeed, Naivara and Sheezrar fell in love and were married. Their first daughter was named Valanthe, and she seemed to have no magical skill, but all of Sheezrar's mental skills, such as the ability to link with others' minds and project small constructs of her own mind.
Valanthe seemed a normal girl to all the world until the birth of her younger sister, Lambda– and as if to tell the world of this girl's power, all the flowers in the Faenorin gardens bloomed at once at her birth. Valanthe sensed this power, not only from the miraculous blooming, and her envy unlocked a terrible lust for more power of her own.
Lambda was scarce a toddler when her own life took a terrible turn, even as her mother Naivara's had. Assailants attacked the Faenorin manor and burned it for reasons unknown, and murdered Sheezrar Faenorin in doing so. Valanthe vanished in the chaos, but shortly before Sheezrar expired, several members of a clan of criminals– The Blackscales, to whom Sheezrar's younger brother had connections– came to his aid. They were able to rescue little Lambda before she could be killed like Sheezrar or stolen away as Naivara was.
Knowing Lambda would never be safe in the Faenorin manor again, the leader of the Blackscale clan, Raithyon, chose to raise her as his own alongside another little girl, his biological daughter. So it is that Lambda, a daughter of the royal family has grown up amongst criminals, with the pickpocket Reownha for a younger sister. She has been taught the history of the Blackscale clan and seeks not only their vindication, but their own goal of self-preservation and a safe haven to live in.

So the full list of Blackscales in Lambda's time as a teenager is thus:
Raithyon – Clan leader. Father of Lambda and Reownha, called "Pops." Sekkala – Staff officer. Aunt of Lambda and Reownha, called "Auntie." Furrele – Priest and healer. Noticed the spark of sorcery in Lambda and has taught her how to use that magic to heal. Cedric – Tank (armor master) and combat instructor. Knows some of Hyrule's military tactics. Madre – Driver and escape expert; only other remaining Blackscale who remembers Sableflame; Mother of Bran, and eventually his sisters Harana and Nuthra. Riakshin: Blackmailer and investigator. Son of a now deceased escapee of Sableflame. Moko: Scout and ambusher. Son of an escapee of Sableflame who still lives in Rito Village with his wife, incognito. Eventually, father of Vrondiss. Nethir: Infiltrator and smooth-talker. Sometime law nerd. Handy with performance and magic, but not so much as Quespa. Nethox: Tinkerer and weapons expert. Adopted into the Blackscales after he was framed for a crime he didn't commit. Eventually, father of Mozikth. Horzai: Assassination expert. Adopted into the clan to gain their protection (strength in numbers, after all) after she racked up quite a bounty on her head. Lambda: Raithyon's daughter. Magical assistance and Raithyon's successor in training. Eventually, mother of Mu. Reownha: Raithyon's daughter. Pickpocket and staff officer in training. Eventually, mother of Direcris. Quespa: Magic expert, the Blackscales' problem solver for most issues arcane. Lambda's instructor in magic, though her magic knowledge doesn't translate so well. –Noncombatants. Spouses and children– Pyxrin: Noncombatant and Raithyon's wife. A well-off Shiekah from a town in Akkala. Rezena: Noncombatant and Madre's wife, a Shiekah. Often disappears from the Blackscales' camp, but always comes back safe with extra supplies, and has kept their secrets faithfully. Gargax: Noncombatant and Riakshin's husband, a Hylian. Keeps a safehouse for the Blackscales to crash in on occasion. Bran: Noncombatant. A child born to Madre recently. Seems to be part Hylian with his black hair and brown eyes, though no one knows who his father is, as he was conceived at a brothel.
Second generation, when Lambda is grown up:
Lambda: Clan leader. Wields powerful divine magic. Reownha: Staff officer. Intelligent and quick, often acquires extra rupees by picking pockets. Bran: Cleanup crew (Evidence removal). Madre's first/eldest. Harana: Scout and eagle's eye. Madre's second/middle child. Nuthra: Driver, escape expert. Madre's third/youngest. Vrondiss: Cleanup crew (witness killer). Moko's son. Mozikth: Weapons expert/tinkerer. Nethox's son. Direcris: Staff officer and mastermind in training. Reownha's son. Mu: Healer and magical expert. Lambda's daughter. Rathkran: Bard and charlatan taken in by the Blackscales when he had a bounty on his head for ripping people off; Reownha's husband. (There's also Lambda's husband but I think he needs redone (again) tbh. We will see.)
Not listing Bran's kids (Fennec and Felicity) cause he never wanted them to join the clan, also I don't have third generation Blackscales. Shrug.
As for what happens to the first generation (Raithyon's): I imagine they were able to retire safely in some corner of Hyrule, building a little settlement. It is their goal to settle down and build a new home, after all. Lambda and Reownha keep the criminal clan going because it's what they're good at, and sometimes you gotta steal from assholes who have too much. Like nobles. Either that or they mostly die some years after the calamity. Idk.

much lighter headcanon for the blackscales:
Like the Yiga Clan and the Shiekah of Kakariko, they too have a favorite food. The Yigas love their bananas, and the Kakariko Shiekah love their various vegetables (carrots and pumpkins.).
The Blackscales like potatoes. They're a very hardy root vegetable with loads of good things packed in, and kept their ancestors in Sableflame alive for an untold number of years. Of course, they're a bit hard for a group of criminals on the run to come by, but it's always a treat when they can come by them.

So why does Raithyon call anytime he has ale 'teatime?'
In short, it's because he wants to imagine better days. When he was much younger, a boy, the Blackscales had a home. A small town of Shiekah called Sableflame. It was in the wilderness of Eldin and somewhat hard to find, in the Deplian Badlands not far from the Thyphlo ruins. Yknow, where it was permanently dark in Breath of the Wild but for some reason not in Tears of the Kingdom.
The Blackscales essentially ruled over this wilderness village, as it was mostly a good place for criminals to hide, especially Sheikah criminals. Even then, the Blackscales did have several hands in the criminal underworld because of this, though not all of them were straight up outlaws. They were called the Blackscales because of their adherence to Sirredes, the dragon spirit of shadow, and each Blackscale, upon coming of age, would make a journey to seek out Sirredes and acquire a part from her– usually a scale.
Raithyon remembers those cheerful days when his parents were alive and lived in a large (and relatively nice) house. Tarhun, his father, and Tatyan, his mother, even had tea, and would share it with Raithyon and his two younger siblings– his brother Mugrunden and sister Sekkala. 'Teatime' is a callback to these halcyon days.
It was destroyed thanks to King Uther.
As the king preceding King Rhoam, Uther was a tyrant who wanted to rule all of Hyrule through any means necessary. Typically, that meant military force– as he conquered and unified much of Hyrule under one banner, sacrificing myriad smaller cultures (and plenty of his own people) on the altar of his ambitions. His agents knew of Sableflame and roughly where it was, though it was difficult to get soldiers to and, as it was a region bordering the allied Goron territories, he had no legal excuse to go after it.
One day, scout reports placed a number of monsters gathering in the Deplian Badlands. Uther saw here an opportunity. He sent a regiment to the region– one far greater than necessary to wipe out a monstrous horde. The commander of this regiment, a Lance Ashworth, was ordered to find Sableflame and wipe it out; the rank and file were only really told that they were dealing with a criminal hideout in a dangerous region packed with monsters, if that.
Lance Ashworth found Sableflame quickly enough. When Sableflame's own scout reports said an entire Hyrulean regiment was headed their way, family head Tarhun and his wife Tatyan knew their intent. The increasing monster activity in the region didn't warrant this, but destroying a small (but decently armed) civilization would. They did their damnedest to evacuate the village, but not many truly escaped. A number of Shiekah not belonging to the Blackscale family did, but of the clan itself? Only Raithyon, his sister Sekkala, and a couple other relatives (Madre, and Riakshin's (unnamed) mother) were able to escape and stay together.
Raithyon and Sekkala have vivid memories of running through the badlands along Eldin's flank, towards the safety of Akkala, under pursuit of Hyrulean archers, when Mugrunden took an arrow to the back of his leg and fell. Raithyon wanted to go back for him, but Sekkala took his wrist and ran, being the more pragmatic of the two and knowing that returning for a fallen family member meant meeting the same fate.
In the current day, Raithyon wants to believe a better life for the Blackscales than one permanently on the run can exist. He wants to believe in the clan's future, perhaps not as criminals, but as respectable members of Hyrulean society. He doesn't know how, but perhaps his daughters Lambda and Reownha will find a way. He must hope. He must equip the girls with every skill he can teach them and more. They are the future of the Blackscales.

Just realized in making an off-the-cuff joke on discord:
Lambda and Reownha have a hobby where they disguise as each other to fake people out– and given that they're adoptive sisters who get along and enjoy this act, they're very good at it and have a lot of practice with it.
In that previous ic post, Raithyon is probably convinced that this is actually Reownha pretending to be Lambda. It is not. Lambda sometimes spits things that defy her wisdom and intelligence scores, to put it in D&D terms. Raithyon is surprised every time– not because he doesn't know her that well, but because of the conviction with which she gets in over her head in trouble. Not that he'll ever fail to come running to her defense.

Other muses on this blog who have children and/or descendants:
Delphine Langlois – In the Twilight Princess verse, she is Hubert's grandmother, and long deceased by the time he becomes a royal guard. Just add her to the Langlois line two generations above Hubert. Erdan Tiltathana – He has two children by his husband Naal, full-blooded Twili who mysteriously are not destroyed in the light– Rinn and Del. Halcyon Nivard – Has a half water dragon son, Rimarun. Lambda Blackscale– Later marries and has a daughter named Mu. ALSO has her mother still around, Naivara (who was a muse on this blog). Raithyon Blackscale – His daughters– adopted daughter Lambda and biological daughter Reownha– are muses on this blog. Reownha Blackscale – She eventually does marry a skilled con man and has a son with him, named Direcris Blackscale. Pretty sure the love between them ISN'T a con, though. Rhoam Bosphoramus Hyrule – I mean. He's Zelda's father, it's canon. Not a secret.
And the children that haven't been detailed are...
Del Berethana – Second born of Erdan and Naal. Del aspires to be as good as Erdan with blades one day. Direcris Blackscale – Reownha's son and only child, a tactically-minded thief who aims to succeed Reownha as the Blackscales' planner. Gibelina Langlois – Delphine's firstborn, a daughter, and Hubert's mother. Keeper of Delphine's myriad notes and journals. Mu Blackscale – Lambda's daughter and only child. A cleric of Sirredes, using the dragon spirit's comforting shadows to aid her mother and aunt's escapades across Hyrule. Rimarun Nivard – Halcyon and Moradace's only child, a spoiled boy who looks like a male Gerudo with fins on his arms, legs... and tail. Rinn Berethana – Firstborn of Erdan and Naal. Rinn is a huge magic nerd who enjoys studying and crafting magical items. Ysabel Langlois – Delphine's secondborn, another daughter. Also looks after Delphine's notes alongside her elder sister. Has no children.

The Blackscales are having banana bread. Lots of it, too.
Where did they get the bananas for it?

These are the (other) muses I've done heroforge builds on, alphabetized; I prefer my hand-drawn arts for being more accurate, but these are definitely fun to do. Did not include the descendants gang because they've been shown in an earlier post, and included Caelynn even though I'm about to drop her for space because, well, it's the closest I've got to her new appearance since she's not Lambda's cousin anymore. Also included younger Ragna for the AoC timeline. She's got a sketch in the works.
