Renault Project 900, 1959. The first of two radical proposals for a new flagship Renault to replace the Frigate. Styled by Sergio Coggiola (formerly of Ghia) and Michel Béligond (Renault designer), their mission was to maximise interior space. The 900 was powered a rear mounted 1.7 litre V8 engine created from two Renault Dauphine engines.

RB12 first win. it was a bit slow on the straights but it had nothing to do with the car.

RB16B first championship that's always I think pretty emotional but it was a great car to drive.

RB19 it will probably be my most successful car ever, it's always an emotional one for sure.

Alpine A310, 1971. An earlier "brand extension" by Alpine, the A310 didn't replace the Alpine A110 but was positioned above it. It dates from a time when Alpine was still an independent company using Renault parts. Initially it was powered by the same rear-mounted 1647cc Renault engine as the A110 but was updated to a V6 in 1976.
