Every once in a while when I'm feeling even less creative than usual, I make linocut copies of random things out of the Grammar of Ornament. This one was a little thumbnail sourced only to "FAY", who I believe is the 18th-century French engraver Jean-Baptiste Fay. Being an A4-sized block, it took about three weeks to carve, but fortunately made up for that by being very easy to print!

7 months of carving coming to an end, I lost some details and added some. I love and need to see the prints, but honestly, the block is the final art piece for me. It’s what I spend all my time with and each one has a segment of my life attached with it.
