Scales and Sensibility (Regency Dragons, #1) by Stephanie Burgis
"It’s like a warm hug. With dragons. It is the perfect book for curling up on the sofa and forgetting the world." #ScalesandSensibility by @stephanieburgis
Sensible, practical Elinor Tregarth really did plan to be the model poor relation when she moved into her aunt and uncle’s house. She certainly never meant to kidnap her awful cousin Penelope’s pet dragon. She never expected to fall in love with the shameless – but surprisingly sweet – fortune hunter who came to court Penelope, either. And she never dreamed that she would have to enter into an…

I’ve had a huge influx of new followers this week (most of which weren’t pornbots! Real people HELLO AND WELCOME OMG!). Here’s the quick need-to-know!
I’m an adult - like, an adulty adult, with a 20+ year relationship, two kids, and a job. If you’re a minor and stressed about interacting with the over-thirties in fandom, this is the full disclosure part. I keep anon off because some people need to learn manners.
On the other hand, I very rarely post anything visually nsfw.
On the other-other hand, my writing is often nsfw and almost invariably queer. Pick your poison.
Currently relevant spoiler tags are ‘wandavision’ and ‘wednesday spoilers’. I tag all ‘mcu’.
I write romances, and my next book is coming out August 3rd from Sourcebooks Casablanca! I KISSED A GIRL is a low-heat sapphic Hollywood rom-com, a behind-the-scenes romance between an SFX makeup artist and her scream queen.
Look at my gorgeous cover! Look at it!

Preorders are open now! Order from an indie bookstore (or one of those big-name sites) here.

Speaking of writing, the relevant links (none go to amazon)!
My previously published novels (high-heat queer regency romances - M/M/(M), F/F/M, and NB/M).
My AO3, predominantly but not exclusively Young Avengers.

I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers this week, maybe from my incessant raving about Empyre and the ensuing Billy/Teddy madness? However you got here, hi! This blog is a mess. No fucks given.
(I am also an adult, like an adulting-aged adult with a PhD and 13 year old kid of my own, and while I do not post NSFW stuff, I also give no fucks about cursing. Make your own calls from that information.)
I write books, and my newest one will be coming out next summer. You can find and follow 'Noa and Lilah’s Guide to Surviving B-List Fame’ on Goodreads! The AO3 entry would read something like
T - some innuendo, some cursing. No warnings apply. F/F, workplace rom-com, New Adult, which means they’re both totally useless at life, bisexual heroine, lesbian heroine, Hollywood AU, Jewish representation, opposites attract, found family happens, cheesecake plays a role, so do snakes, behind-the-scenes movie-making in-jokes, and a puppy named Rasputin.
My older books are somewhat different, written under the pen name Tess Bowery. If you like working class, theatre-life, Regency-era queer erotic romance of varying flavours (M/M, F/F/M, GF/M), you can find the (best-selling, award-shortlisted) series at my website, and not even have to give any cash to Amazon: http://tessbowery.com/
I also write fic, and it all goes up on my AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/users/Ardatli/works
Please comment, like and ask me things. Some of my best online friends are people who slid into my ask box and never went away. [stares at Xander in Creepervision]
