the site is v much Not alive again, unfortunately. unless u mean its working, which, yes, thts tru; it went under new management over 2 yrs ago so is back up (tho glitches r common) but not only do ppl not use the site anymore so its Socially dead, but music is unable 2 b uploaded on2 mixes n has been like tht for like a 1/2 a yr or more, last i checked, so until 8tracks fixes it (if its not jus an error on my side) then playlists literally cant b made unless using songs already in ur library. i would kno bc i kept trying 2 upload songs on2 mixes in my drafts n the tracks turn red n it says error. i make so many mixes (it's my main hobby!) n i wish i could upload them there but 2 no avail bc they contain songs tht i havent used b4. what i want is 4 ppl 2 realize there's more than jus the shitty youtube 1s out there so they can discover + show love to older mixes n 4 the site 2 get Fixed so those of us w playlist prowess can post there again (tho, again, site is Socially Dead so ppl would need 2 dtart listening 2 8tracks again so said playlists can be seen. the sites a gd ghost town) ;w; /nm

we need 2 bring back 8tracks the fucking tiktok-esque playlists on youtube are NOT it n most of them r the fucking same w songs tht barely fit jus bc theyre currently popular/trending.
