Redeeming Love- Francine Rivers

I cannot recommend “Redeeming Love” enough. A super quick read that will have you turning every page hungrily.

Based on the book of the Bible Hosea, Francine Rivers is a captivating story teller. It is scripturally sound and will make you think around every corner.

As you journey with Sarah through the trails of prostitution and freedom, you’ll see her Redeemer right there waiting to rescue her. He uses Michael Hosea, a man who has never been with a woman to woo her to the heart of the Father.

I received this book in college and read it after my first break up. I recently picked it up after 8 years and read it again, and got an entirely different perspective from it than before. It causes you to go back to the Word of God and read it in a new light.

I would recommend this book for women of all ages. It’s a book you’ll keep reading for years to come.

My mom sent me this picture today. My heart felt joy & yet it ached. I was about 1yr/3 mo old. She said that she was working that day & so a clown costume was all my dad could find,& he even painted my face. To hear of the effort he put in to make sure I had a costume made me smile. They also took me to fun time pizza which I loved,but was afraid of the dancing figures on stage lol. These are the memories I will treasure & even though they’re the ones that are shared with me,I will hold them dear to my heart.They’re still my own. God is indeed a good Father who gives beauty for ashes.
